"I did not know Rylan well, but I respected him. I am saddened to know he is... lost to us," she averted her gaze momentarily, before raising her head once more. "His passing was the result of Tairaga's cruelty. You two were friends, am I mistaken? I doubt he would point any fingers at you..." Ooro pondered to herself, feeling that nothing she could say could ease the vishkanyan's heartache. "I am sure he would hurt if he saw you crying like this," is all she could manage. Manasa nodded, blotting away both her tears and the blood on her hand. She did not know how much she believed Ooro's words, but for the elf and Oxy's sake she would try her best to digest them. Manasa looked down at the small child in her lap and stoked him with her good hand, cooing softly in a way she hoped with put him at ease. Her outburst must have hurt him so much... Manasa wondered, as she rubbed the child's back through his clothes if this was what motherhood meant; if this was the reality Celty had to face. Hiding her emotions for the sake of the child in her life. Were her emotions effecting the rest of the guild? This entire time Manasa had been so inconsiderate to be so transparent with her emotions. Depression would only drag the rest of her guild down, they needed a dancer who could uplift them in these times. Manasa made a silent resolution; to ever cry in front of the others. If she had tears to shed she would do so in secret. 'I was disgusting. I used Naga's gifts to my advantaged while loving a human. He killed him because of my selfishness.' Manasa thought as she rose to her feet, still holding Oxy in her arms. "Thank you Ooro, you're right." She said with a said smile.

((Okay now I'm gonna start the meeting that I had planned. Your characters are not required to attend this meeting and if you do make your character attend you can still make them do whatever you want to in the castle after the meeting ends. Even if I don't state it myself, you can state in your post that your character was at the meeting all along or that they overheard what they were saying and joined in. With that said I will now tag everyone who requested or implied that they wanted their character to be involved in this schribbit not u Emily cassiroll )) Kama finally finished eating all of the meat that he could fit in his stomach and began to wander around the castle. Since they had enough time to have fun exploring the castle a little Kama figured that they would be prepared now to discuss some darker topics. Kama found Enoch, Daryn, Celty, Galystris, and some other guild members and told them all to come back to the dinner table to discuss important matters. As soon as they all gathered at the table Kama said to them "Sorry to ruin your fun everyone but this is something that I think we should discuss. When we were invited to this castle I was also given a lot of information about the fearens. Information that I think you all should know. It turns out that fearens are not just monsters from hell like a lot of people predicted. Believe it or not the reality is much worse than that. Fearens are..." Kama hesitated to finish his sentence. He didn't want the guild to panic, but the truth shouldn't be hidden from them forever. Kama hesitantly finished his sentence by saying "...Fearens are humans. Not just humans, but other species as well such as elves, goblins, orcs, dwarves, and so on. Fearens are created through an inhumane and twisted process of forcefully ripping out the good in someone's soul leaving only evil left within them. The body is then deformed into a fearen form to match with the broken soul. Any body can be used to create a fearen as long as a broken soul with only evil inside of it is placed into the body, meaning that anyone who has died can be turned into a fearen. Fearens have a tendency to approach those who they knew when they were alive with a complete soul meaning that our chances of encountering a fearen version of someone we knew aren't low. You might have to kill a fearen with the face of someone you once loved." Kama then looked over at his guild members and said "If you're afraid of attacking someone you cared about then I suggest you leave the guild now... but if you want to help to free their souls from the sick and twisted fate of being forced to end life on Ignis then I suggest you stand by our side and continue to fight."

Zerah made his way over to the table when he heard Kama's shouts to gather the guild. He noticed Enoch and Daryn had already made their way to the table, as well as quite a few other guild members. Zerah took a seat to the right of Kama, not feeling comfortable enough to sit anywhere else. He listened intently as Kama explained the new information the other guild had bestowed to him, the imp's interest being incredibly piqued. "How...uh..many guild members have you guys lost?" Zerah asked, remembering he had only been there a day, and countless members could've passed before he joined them. Then, a more mischievous thought entered the imp's mind. Rylan had died on the battlefield just the other day. The thought of getting to strike that man down filled the imp with giddiness the likes of which he had never felt before. He noticed a wicked grin had spread across his face and quickly wiped it away. Zerah looked back at Kama, questioningly. "I don't know about you guys, but I'm definitely on board to fight these fearen off still. Whoever is turning these people's souls into monsters needs to be stopped." Zerah said, arrogantly. "Erm....do we..know who's turning these souls into fearen?"

After hearing Kama's words, Fallen couldn't help but be slightly taken aback. To think that souls could be used in such a manner... it was unheard of. He had expected something similar to this, what with the revival of the late King Tairaga.
"We've lost 3 members... and probably a fourth as well. I... don't know what happened to Gaynor, sorry." Fallen said to Zerah.
Fallen then sat in silence, considering the issue. "I... The situation hasn't changed. The fearen are still monsters that rely solely on instinct. I'll continue to be a member of your guild. I intend to fight until all of this is over." He replied to Kama. "Besides..." Fallen began, eyes diverting to the ground, "I have no where else to go."

"They're...they're humans, huh? Galystris buried her face in her hands. This was too goddamned much. "So everyone we killed out there was someone just like us...." She muttered. Guilt flooded her consiousness at the sheer thought. She could have killed her mother, her father.... She could have killed herGalystris shook off the guilt she was feeling to the best if her ability. This was a situation of pure survival of the fittest. She was always taught that remorse was a weakness. She was going not going to show any regret for this, nor fear. She moved her hands away from her face and straight. She cleared her throat as if to indicate to the people around her that the hint of emotion she had shown was something she regret. "....I see. That is rather unfortunate then." Her voice was rather monotone and her face was serious. A fight in her conscious mind was going on, though. ....and her superego just suplexed her id. "Thank you for the information. This will prove to be useful in the future." She gave Kama a respectful nod, and continued to grapple with her emotions.

The healer scoffed. He had barely earned enough time to cool off before the old man went to gather everyone in the entrance hall. Shaking his head at the ultimatum the man delivered. Would people really consider others lives worth throwing themselves back out to the wolves? Perhaps it was selfish of him not to consider that these things could be innocents manipulated for whatever purpose fearens even had for existing, but Rezza saw no value in the lives of others. Shrugging he quietly added onto what the others had already said. "So what," One of his claws idly scraped at the table, his gaze floating over the walls. "are other people really worth the possibility of dying?" A question not meant to receive an answer delivered in a largely uninterested tone. "Who cares what they are or were their useless to the world now."

Daryn sat expressionless as Kama talked about the new information on the fearen. She looked around to see the faces of people either horrified or speechless. Some people spoke, but Daryn didn't care to process their words. Daryn then took a deep breath and said loudly, "If they're evil now, they're evil. When it comes down to it, they're not what they used to be." She paused, taking another look around the table. "I'm staying. I'm fighting. I'm going to help save Ignis."

Clarissa leaned back lazily in her seat, hanging her elbows over the back of the chair. She gave Kama a bored look, clearly not impressed by this new information. "Oh, boo hoo, so a few souls were dragged into this mess. They aren't themselves anymore. Shouldn't be a problem to just knock 'em back out right?" She glanced around the room, a small yawn threatening her lips that she stifled. She felt Celty stir a bit in the back of her mind but kicked the shifter back down. She wasn't ready to give up her spot just yet, she'd only barely gotten to stretch her legs. "And if they're a loved one, we know their weaknesses, right? Easier to take out. Hell, this is probably good news."

Enoch felt his stomach churn as this piece of info hit his ears, his brows drawing together as he processed this information. The idea that they could've known someone in that sea of fearens at the arena and at the abandoned village. The priests, the children, his friends... He shook his head solemnly. They would never do something like this. "Those people aren't who they once were anymore. The people who died, the people we knew, would never want to hurt us," he responded coldly, his face hardening. "They aren't elves or humans or goblins anymore. They're fearen. I'll fight with the guild until the end." He listened carefully as Zerah fired off a couple of questions, waiting for the answers when he heard Celty give her own input. "Oh, boo hoo, so a few souls were dragged into this mess. They aren't themselves anymore. Shouldn't be a problem to just knock 'em back out right?" "And if they're a loved one, we know their weaknesses, right? Easier to take out. Hell, this is probably good news." Enoch clicked his tongue, frowning over at the woman but staying silent. While she certainly had a point, the cruelty behind her words seemed rather... unprecedented. "I hate it when she's like this." He whispered, refusing to look at her. The priest paused as Oxy's words from a couple nights ago sprung to mind, frowning and glancing over at the woman curiously. Hmm.

Manasa had wandered back towards the main hall, Oxy still in her arms. She knew not of the meeting currently taking place, her journey being purely out of instinct. As she made it back to the hall where everybody first entered the castle, She was taken back by the site of many of her fellow guild mates seated at the table. She had come just in time to overhear Kama deliver a few choice words on the fearen;
Manasa's grip on Oxy instinctual grew tighter. What did these words mean when it came to him? What did they mean to him? Manasa looked down at the small child, snuggling into his hair and looking into his eyes as she spoke to him. "Do you want to go play somewhere?" Manasa then looked towards Celty with a wave of discomfort. Were her actions... okay? Oxy was Celty's son first and foremost, Manasa had to be careful that she wasn't overstepping her bounds. Yet something about the mother seemed... off. Manasa looked Celty up and down, questioning her latest actions as well as her change in appearance and tone.
"Witch..." Manasa said to herself. She looked down at Oxy and then at each of her guild mates. Her breathing quickened, she began to sweat. She wanted to say it louder, to scream it, yet... what if she was wrong? Manasa took a deep, ragged breath and swallowed. It was for the good of the team. If she was wrong, she would simply make a fool of herself. If she was right, she would be protecting the rest of the Shadow Slayers. Manasa opened her mouth, ready to make her deceleration without fear of the repercussions.
Manasa closed her mouth, a droplet of sweat forming on her brow. Of course... she was to meek. To afraid of their judgement.

Clarissa noted Manasa return with Oxy a few moments before, but hadn't taken any action towards them yet. However, keeping tabs on how people reacted to her was something she was very keen at picking up on. She noted the distasteful 'click' from Enoch and the fearful look in Manasa's eyes, and her blood ran cold. She was sitting up in her seat in a moment, pulling her hat off and placing it on the table as though she were renouncing the title of 'witch' with this action. She turned to Oxy with the brightest smile she could muster and held out a hand to him. "Come on, boy, come to mama."
Oxy backed up into Manasa, tilting his head up to look at her with pleading eyes. But he didn't say anything noteworthy, just "Bye, Mana," as he rushed from her arms and over to Celty. The witch grabbed the toddler by the wrist and hoisted him up onto her lap, one of her arms stretched over the boy's torso in a way that if she raised it a bit higher it would be choking him. She sat completely still, staring at Manasa with a look that could mean one of two things depending on what the other woman knew: this is my son, or this is a threat. Either way, one thing was perfectly clear: back off.

Manasa shivered. For all she cared, her suspicions were confirmed. Celty would never treat Oxy that way. The dancer's fingers twitched, instinctively touching the hilt of her blade before stopping. No. Oxy was in danger. The witch held his life in her hand. Manasa knew not what the witch was capable of, or even fully what it was. Such creatures were unheard of in he desert. She only found out about them later in hushed voices during her travels on this new, foreign land. Yet she knew one thing for certain; as long as she was there no harm would come Oxy's, or any of her other guild member's way.
Manasa took a confident step forward, serpentine eyes locked with the witch's. "Let him go, witch." She hissed.

"Only four, huh? That's not bad. Not many guild members to fight then, should they show up." Zerah stated, a bit relieved.
Zerah noted Celty's awful response to the idea of fighting their own teamates, making it clear the witch was in control. Zerah was ready to take no mind to this until he caught a glimpse of how the witch had treated Oxy, holding him in a very threatening manner, her eyes shooting daggers at Manasa. Zerah scowled at the witch, rage building from the way the child was being treated. A smirk grew across Zerah's face as he remembered Celty hadn't given him anything to offer her. If what he was about to do went awry, Zerah was almost positive he could save the child, should he be in danger.
"Wow, that's a really weird thing to say, Celty. You know what else is weird, Celty? The way you're treating your child. That isn't very motherly of you" Zerah said in a snarky manner.
Zerah shot a look at the witch, one thing in his mind.
If you hurt that child, I will not hesitate to fucking kill you.
Zerah's face turned back into a smirk as he stood up from his chair, leaning over the table. "Oh yeah, I meant to mention this earlier. Remember that snatcher witch story you told us about at the campfire? Weeeeeell I finally remembered the side effect! If I'm not mistaken, they vomit up a purple substance! Isn't that weird, Celty?"
Zerah was caught off guard by Manasa's sudden comment, but was glad he wasn't the only one who knew. "Well, I was trying to be a little more subtle with it, but calling her out works too." Zerah morphed his arms into blades "Want to try something, Clarissa?"

Looking between the imp and Manasa and Celty, Rezza shrugged lazily. The two had thrown harsh accusations of being a witch towards Celty, and while he didn't know the woman well he didn't find her actions too far our of line. Pushing his chair back slightly Rezza raised his feet onto the table. Staring at the ceiling he scratched his face and took in a large breath. "So what if she is a witch like you guys are claiming?" He gave a light stretch before glancing down towards the shifter. "I mean is that really a problem?"
