Manasa smirked, taking the glove off of her right hand and then slitting her palm open with her drawn blade. At this point, dodgy black spots had begun to form on her fingertips, the entirety of her hand golden and swollen. However, she was far too concerned with defending Rezza to even take notice. "Last I heard- he was referred to as Light. I'd consider that a far better name than Flores," she said through confidently grinning teeth. Manasa brought forth her now dripping hand, holding it forward and than manipulating the poison within her bloodstream. As she pulled the poison out of her blood, Manasa could feel the cold crawl up her wrist and then her arm, blackness spreading as well. Manasa shot what as now a pint of pure poison at Ekh's face; attempting to will half it into her eyes, nose and mouth and for the rest to drench the fearen. Her poison had seemed to gain a new form of lethality as well, being much more deadly than the average vishkanyan's. However, the drawback to the attack was almost immediate, Manasa's entire arm began to numbly pulsate, the blackness and cold growing in severity. Manasa gripped at her arm, cocky smile still on her face. She opened her mouth to speak once more, only to freeze at the sound of familiar wing beat and an intense heat. It ̨h̷u͠rt̷s̷, pŕo̢p͟het͏.͟

Valdus noticed Alroth advancing towards him once again but realized that he could easily stall Alroth to reduce the number of enemies he had to deal with at once. Valdus pointed and said "Fearens focus on the armored man over there!" and a large portion of the weaker fearens turned their attention to Alroth and began attacking the suit of armor from all angles. A hound fearen tried to bit him from behind, a hydra fearen shot lightning from the right, and a stalos fearen shot fire at him from the front. Dozens of attacks rained in from all directions. Magical attacks pinged off of Alroth's armor in every direction, quickly forming dents. Alroth fought through the onslaught, with no choice but to keep up the attack. There was no way to defend from all directions at once. The best bet was to kill the fearen until there were no more left to attack. " Damn!" Pinky growled in frustration as her entire little room shook under the hail of ranged attacks. Alroth twitched spastically as a hydra's lightning attack charged his armor, but barely waited to recover before turning and letting loose another slash through a nearby winged fearen. The knight fought in all directions, turning constantly to hopefully lessen the impact of so many hits. He blocked what he could, but that was very little in the grand scheme. Was this really worth it? Did Pinky choose the right side? Could Valdus be trusted? No. Valdus was a human just like all the others. No emotional being could be trusted with such responsibility. Kama was right. And yet... It didn't feel like a victory. Alroth struggled to keep fighting, Pinky doing everything she could to maintain control. The entire suit was falling apart, and there was nothing that could be done about it until this was finished. The only solution was to just keepfighting. It was all her fault. She knew that charging in like this was a bad plan, but in her mind it had been the only option. All this time she had criticized the guild's teamwork, and now her choice to forsake that concept had been her undoing. There were too many of them to fight alone. Alone. Win or lose, that is what she would be. What she had always been. In the end, that was her greatest weakness. Alroth was defeated.

Valdus summoned dozens of giant golden swords. He aimed and shot wind slashes at every member of the Shadow Slayers, each wind slash being powerful enough to break the temple walls. Enoch widened his eyes and skirted to the side as soon as he registered the attack. Without being Hastened himself, he didn't get far enough to completely avoid the force of the blast which sent him sprawling backwards a few yards. The dizzied man lurched from his back up onto his knees, the stinging sensation in his right arm and side slowly dawning on him. Frowning and regaining his bearings, he gripped the gash on his arm and stumbled back to the group. The fight between the humanoid that Osseus identified as his mother and the other members was finished... with the small elven boy kneeling on the ground and the woman slumped over his shoulder. Face softening, he hesitated silently, giving the two of them a moment before opening his mouth to speak. His gaze shot up as a sudden explosion amidst the chaos caught his attention. His head whipped towards the source of light, eyes widening in shock as one of the strongest fighters in the guild went down. His breath caught in his throat, a whole mix of emotions flooding forth as he stared at the carnage. Panic began to sink in, and that initial instinct to run that hadn't reared its ugly head since Fearos was tickling at the back of his mind. Someone as powerful as Alroth had succumbed to the battle. He had been an anchor in the past two battles and now with him gone... The priest shook those thoughts away. They needed to get the group working together immediately. He hesitated for a few more moments as the boy received the closure he needed, before speaking. "Osseus, if we're going to do this plan we need to start orchestrating everyone now. Before we lose anyone else."

Valdus summoned dozens of giant golden swords. He aimed and shot wind slashes at every member of the Shadow Slayers, each wind slash being powerful enough to break the temple walls. Daryn was unexpectedly knocked back by the blast, sending her tumbling across the room until she had enough bearings to plunge her sword into the ground to keep her in place. The attack didn't injure her but it brought her dizziness back, causing her to finally give up her lunch to the earth. When the attack was over she blearily made her way back to the others. "Osseus, if we're going to do this plan we need to start orchestrating everyone now. Before we lose anyone else." Daryn didn't notice Alroth's demise, for her dizziness was making it hard to notice anything. She heard Enoch's order as she approached and responded soon after. "Yeah!" She said, half yelling and half weakly groaning. "Let's get that som'bitch already."

The winds blowing from Valdus' attack were unbearable, his only means of not being flung around the room being his to cut his bag strap and tie it to a dagger, then stick it in the ground, the tactic reminiscent of the Fearos battle. The winds kept howling, Osseus barely catching anything Enoch said. "Osseus, if we're going to do this plan we need to start orchestrating everyone now. Before we lose anyone else." "We may not be able to get everyone in this, but we can do this with a smaller group," Osseus commanded, his voice still shaken from his mother's death. With that, an idea struck him. He kneeled to Ortus' corpse, noticing her armor almost intact. "I'm sorry Mom," He whispered, pulling on the thread on the cloth parts of her armor. He tested the strength by trying to cut through, a surprisingly difficult task without especially sharp knives. "Fallen, make some sort of string!" Osseus yelled out across the battlefield, hoping to attract his attention, then turned back to his teammates "If that won't work, there's reinforced fearen thread here," He handed his findings to Daryn and Luair, giving specific instructions to the two comrades. "When I say GO, fire the arrows. If your shot manages to snag his cape or stick to his armor, PULL. If it doesn't, pull it back and try again."

"There are a lot of us who have done things we aren't proud of!" Celty said harshly, her shoulder blades morphing underneath her skin. "And even more of us who have gone against our families teachings! But at this point, I don't give a damn! You fight someone who's defended me or my son, and I'll kick your damn ass!" Fearen wings sprouted from her back and she launched into the air, attempting to bypass the other family members and go straight for Rees, her hands outstretched to grab at his neck. Hearing something approaching Rees looked back, noticing the shapeshifter giving chase. "I guess I should pick up the pace then..." He growled as he began pushing all his energy into his legs propelling himself upwards in a flash. Upon reaching the exit the the passageway the man bounded up to the ground floor, skidding into the room. Giving himself a small running start from where he was standing, Rees turned barreling back towards the passage at top speed. With a leap he pushed himself into the air, slamming his side into the wall above the doorway. The force of his impact caused parts of the wall to fall effectively blocking the way. Falling to the ground Rees dropped the man he had been hauling with him. Panting he allowed himself a brief moments rest bringing himself to the floor. With a pained gurgle the healer attempted to speak with his shattered jaw, his words slurred and barely intelligible. "Kill me nnnnnow.." Struggling to stay conscious he pleaded weakly. "Please..." His lungs heaved with every breath he took in. (((I redrew this image on a whim original under spoiler for comparison))) Rees scoffed hearing these words. Staring Rezza in the eyes he denied the man's request. "As much as I would love to this is something we've all waited for, and I'm sure everyone else would want to see the life slip from your body as much as I do. Besides," Quickly averting his gaze Rees smiled. "you deserve to suffer for awhile." Letting out a large breath Rezza closed his eyes, opening them once he could feel unconsciousness trying to grab hold of him. He waited, hoping something would happen, though he knew he was dead. Much of his life was spent doing that, and it led him here. Led him to the guild. And would now surely led to his death. "He is a man of Flore blood no matter what lies he breathes." Ekh spat in response, bringing up her right arm to take a slash at Manasa. Upon noticing what the dancer was doing she attempted to step back to avoid the substance that Manasa threw at her. The old woman had barely anytime to react and even with her speed was unable to move completely out of the way. Letting out a cry she jumped back, nearly falling over as the poison burned into her abdomen. Looking back up at the woman Ekh noticed her distracted by someone else. Moving back to the entrance way she called out behind her. "Looks like that one wishes to have a word with you. I wouldn't want to interrupt." The statement was punctuated with a strange chortle. Noticing her daughter no longer in the door way Ekh peered into the passage to the ground floor. Nel stood within the passageway looking towards Celty, somewhat amused that the shifter was oblivious to the worwren's enhanced speed. Her brother at performing at one hundred-twenty percent could travel nearly as fast as her mother, and her mother at one hundred could only be described as a blur flying across the field. With a laugh Nel addressed her. "I'm sorry, but if you want to get to him you'll have to do it over our dead bodies." Chuckling she thought of the words the woman spoke. "I assure you, though, even if he defended you once you shouldn't expect him to stand by you. Whatever lies he's been feeding you, I can guarantee he would betray you in a second. That's pretty big talk as well, do you really believe you can take three of us at once? Even if one dies I'm sure you don't have to be a genius to know that the next will come in to take you down in your moment of victory. And we are to keep others off of Rees no matter what." Nel motioned backwards with her right hand. "Why don't you go help your friends. I'm sure they could use it."
While the others are handling, Mimisko notice that Urzul is wrecking a lot of things. Was this one of early Shadow Slayers members that lost their life. If so, like with Lopiya as Yapilo, this is not the way to go about it. Mimisko fire turns blue, becomes a bow and arrow, aims and Urzul. "Being a fearen is not the way to go about it. Ready and Stand..." She shoots the fire arrow at Urzul. Will Mimisko make the shot? Letting out a guttural growl Urzul glared at Mimisko replying sarcastically. "Smart words from a human." The orc readied her club, prepared to attack. Her eyes caught on the arrow headed towards her and without thinking raised up her left hand to brush it aside. Upon contact the flames caused an immense pain. Roaring in agony she nearly doubled over and brought her hand in close. Gremlon didn't take advantage of this attack and started trying to talk to Urzul. "I've told myself that I didn't want to face you" Gremlon said to Urzul. "but I actually did want to face you." "I never got to know what your name is" Gremlon concluded. Gremlon shouted, "That's the last thing I'm going to ask for you to do! Tell me your name!" "Before I kill you again" Gremlon said as he grabbed out his knife. Gremlon started sprinting over to Urzul ready to slash, but his sprinting speed was rather slow. Gremlon was uneasy. Whipping her head up Urzul stared at Gremlon, her face contorting into a fierce scowl as he continued to speak. "Sharing words on the battlefield is only a distraction." She bellowed at the goblin before taking her club into the air, raising it above her head. "Such honor I only give to those who best me in combat." With a heavy crack the club hit the ground between her and Gremlon, the impact creating small shock waves intended the throw him off his balance. Dragging her club back she picked up a piece of rubble and threw it towards Mimisko.

The woman doubled over as she plunged her nails into her chest, a sickening feeling rushing through her being as she did so. There was a pause, a halt in her movements, and slowly the woman's eyes strayed to Ooro's as she removed her claw from her torso.
...Even in her final moments, she was thinking of her son. Ooro gazed back her at hand that was now dripping with deep hues of scarlet, her face hardening. How horrible had it all felt, and cruel that it had to come to this. Ortus continued to plea for her son to finish the job, holding him tightly as she did so.
Ooro's eyelids slowly shut themselves as Osseus proceeded to dig the knife into the woman's back- releasing her from her twisted body. She could hear him sobbing as he held her body close. When she sought to open her eyes, a blade rested where his mother once was, while Osseus had cradled a similar one close to himself. There... hadn't been much to say. In a lost for words, she simply lifted her clean hand and parted his hair with it like she was used to. Perhaps he'd have the energy to scold her on it. With the other hand, she grasped the blade that was left behind.
Watching the whole spectacle unravel before her only served as a reminder as what needed to come next. Her heart had felt as though it ceased to beat, and her blood ran cold. They were to continue their assault on Valdus, but she-
"I almost thought I had to step in again! Have you turned against your own kind now? Does nothing impress you?"
From the sidelines, the hoarse, raspy voice called out to her. The figure with armored arms sneered at her, preparing himself for the assault. "You look so different from last time, though I only know one face with a scar as odd as your's." He spat under his breath, baring his teeth more with every step he stook.
Despite showing a tinge of courage earlier, it had all been washed away now. Her knees shook beneath her, and her eyes watered as her stomach churned. "I-I, Marcus-" her voice had barely managed to squeak out, as she fumbled over every word, even her own breath. "Bah! Why even call me that!? I remember you calling me a whoooole lot of other things!" The tears streamed down her face as the guilt flooded her. The man smiled wryly, "Ain't that right, knife-ears?" Before she had realized it, Ooro hands had scrambled for her ears, and could feel their fleshy texture once more. They... reverted back... If she couldn't even shift her ears, then what about her legs? Her vision faltered as the tears made it all a blur, only seeing the figure approach closer.
"P-please-"
"Shut your fucking mouth!" He roared at the hermit, her face contorting with horror as she cried out in fear. Ooro struggled to think, as her mind had become a blank slate. Nothing could be processed or registered as long as he remained in her line of sight. "We settle this bet today! Just who is better, I wonder?" Marcus had risen his encased arm over Ooro, preparing to swing it down over her head.
"I-I don't want to fight you! PLEASE!" she begged the man, but he swung his fist around instead of over, launching her a few feet over.
"WE made this bet! BOTH of us will take part!" Her body laid collapsed on the ground, twitching from the pain as the blood dribbled out her lips. The taste of iron was strong against her tongue as her limbs faltered in regaining her balance. Kama reinforced back at the castle that humanoids were wicked beyond help, but to raise arms against Marcus, after not seeing him for decades, after fleeing so suddenly-
She had begun to see why Osseus had felt he deserved the beating. Perhaps she was feeling the same way he felt when he saw his mother. Yet was his village responsible for the attack lead on his beloveds? She hadn't known, and in the moment it mattered little. To attempt to fight back was insulting, she'd only prove to the man she was just like those who continued to drive him away. Marcus hovered over her body now, his eyes leering at her face with his eyebrows furrowed. Ooro had made no attempt to move, but tried speaking once more, "I don't want this." "...But I do," he gripped her neck with his jagged fingers, lifting her off the ground as he tightened his grip around her throat. Her feeble attempts at breathing were futile, and even pitiful as the small sobs and squeaks of her voice let out. Yet she remained still in his grip. The man glared, his upper lip parting just barely to show him gritting his teeth. Her tears continued to stream down her cheeks, as her eyes rolled back to gaze above.
"...What happened to you?"
The man whispered, as though genuinely perplexed by an occurrence within her, his grip loosening just ever-so-slightly.

Like the jaws had intended, they sunk their teeth into something. The only problem is, it wasn't the legendary hero it sunk it's teeth into, but the shield he summoned in front of him. The imp's body flopped against the metallic surface, dangling above the ground. When the imp looked down, he saw the enormous golden blade waiting to chop him to bits. He let out an audible gulp, the teeth sinking further into the shield as he held on for dear life. The imp listened to this self-righteous warrior go on and on about saving the world and whatnot, boring the imp. "I don't care about the world" He shouted. "I don't care about your useless gods! Gods are just there to comfort the weak in the dead of night, protecting them from monsters like me! But in reality, they don't give a fuck about humanity! Otherwise, you'd have never been born! Your goal is so self-righteous and ignorant! I can't believe people thought of you as a hero, when you're nothing but a joke!!" He spat. "All I care about is fighting you, so how about you stop flying like a bitch and fight like a man!!!" "Your attempts to provoke me are useless. I don't care what someone like you thinks of me. I will do what needs to be done for the future of Ignis no matter what it takes, even if it means throwing away my honor." Valdus said. Kama quickly rushed in and knocked away the sword beneath Zerah by slashing it, so that Zerah could land safely. Kama looked over behind him and saw Alroth torn to pieces. He was overwhelmed by what seemed to be the loss of yet another ally as he cried "ALROOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH!" Valdus said to Kama in response "I'm sorry for your loss Kama, but his life was a necessary sacrifice. I am doing what has to be done." Kama looked at Valdus with nothing but hatred and fury in his eyes. The old man let his anger control him and once again chose to throw away any attempts at being strategic in favor of fighting aggressively. Kama said to Zerah "I'm done waiting for backup. Lets do this Zerah. LET'S KILL THIS DAMN BASTARD FOR EVERYONE THAT HE'S KILLED!" Valdus made the shield that Zerah was hanging onto vanish, and then summoned an even larger golden sword than ever before, towering at 20 feet tall. The sword began to spin towards Zerah and would continue to fly in his direction over and over again even if Zerah managed to dodge it. Kama tried to run up the wall again but Valdus summoned yet another golden sword and slammed Kama back down to the floor with it.

His back was completely turned, giving away the only opportunity available. He had to seize it; he couldn't bear to let Kama or Zerah die to this asshole. Osseus'' face hardened to one of sheer willpower, and he assumed the booming voice of a military commander to orchestrate his revised master plan. "GO!!!!!" He brandished both Kama and Ortus's daggers, intending fully to jab Valdus wherever necessary.

Luair scrambled for materials on the battlefield, cringing as she laced together an assortment of things, including those once from fearen. Nevertheless, if the plan was to work then she had no choice but to. Tying her creation to an arrow, she stashed it away for later use.
There he was; he had finally catched up. She became on her guard knowing that he would attack at any given minute yet his focus remained on Ooro. He had lifted her off the ground by her neck and by that point Luair was prepared to put herself against the man.
'Let Ooro go!' she cried, aiming a arrow at his encased hand. She then shot another arrow, this time at his leg. Luair had no intention on losing anyone who fought beside her and who taught her so much. For no matter what the ties between her and that man was, she wanted Ooro to live.
She drew two arrows and held them both, plotting to lanuch one right after the other. This would be the attack to really catch him off guard. She ran a few spaces in and made the shot.

Dragging her club back she picked up a piece of rubble and threw it towards Mimisko. Gremlon flew back onto the ground pathetically. His mask flew off, tears were in his eyes, and his right leg was shedding off. "I can't do this again." he said under his breath. "I can't fight her again. Why? Why did it have to be her?" Gremlon's blood was only getting worse due to his lost limbs. The world around him was getting brighter in his eyes. He had to sit down in order to continue breathing for now. "I can't be defeated like big goblin. I can't be defeated by big goblin... tsk... the irony behind that. How do I deal with this? heh... good old depressing memories I can't seem to escape..." Then Gremlon spoke to Urzul again, "If you're defeated, then you wont be able to give me your name. So I'll give you another chance. Let's start over... hi, I'm Gremlon, so WHAT'S YOUR NAME!?" Gremlon then shot fearen bodies and fearen body parts at Urzul from a bunch of different angles.

Mimisko dodged the rubble as much as she could.
"Dang it! This one is a lot tougher to beat. I must-"
Wait.. was this the Shadow Slayer member Gremlon was close to?
Mimisko remembers back to what he was talking about to to her and Rylan a while back
Mimisko feels sorry that Gremlon is going through this
Then she had an idea.
She sets the fire into the ground. The fire went under the ground that Urzul stands on. It will not go up to Urzul just yet but if anything else happens to Gremlon because of her, Mimisko will not hold back.

And yet... he paid no mind to anyone else but the two. His back was completely turned, giving away the only opportunity available. He had to seize it; he couldn't bear to let Kama or Zerah die to this asshole. Osseus'' face hardened to one of sheer willpower, and he assumed the booming voice of a military commander to orchestrate his revised master plan. "GO!!!!!"Enoch nodded, prepared to make his way towards Galystris when a booming hit his ears, as well as the pleading of one of his closest teammates. "I almost thought I had to step in again! Have you turned against your own kind now? Does nothing impress you?"
"I-I, Marcus-" her voice had barely managed to squeak out, as she fumbled over every word, even her own breath. "WE made this bet! BOTH of us will take part!" Her body laid collapsed on the ground, twitching from the pain as the blood dribbled out her lips. The priest felt his heart drop into his stomach as he saw the fearen's hands wrapped tightly around Ooro's neck. "Ooro!!" he shouted, rushing over and running possible actions he could take through his mind while his heart beat frantically in his ears. Casting Slow on the fearen while he was still clutching Ooro would put the woman in greater danger -- even the act of letting her free would be Slowed. Casting Haste on his friend and speeding up her her flow of time may cause her to suffocate more quickly in this position. He couldn't risk it. He was prepared to stop time if it became necessary, but for now, he swung his weapon at the fearen with all his strength. Ooro's tale from her past was still fresh in his memory. How much she'd grown and changed into the person she was thanks to her human friend and his family. How they'd taught her how to accept others and reach outside of her small isolated world. How they'd become the warm and accepting family she deserved. Even though Ooro's voice had been too quiet to reach his ears with any sort of clarity, the talk of the "bet" answered his suspicions. This is that human... isn't it."Let her go!" Enoch shouted, wincing as his weapon pinged uselessly off the man's armored body. "The bet is long over! You won, Marcus!"

Zerah was taken off guard as the 'hero's' shield he had been hanging onto disappeared. His heart sank as he turned to look at the ground, only noticing the sword from before had been knocked out of the way by Kama. Zerah hit the floor hard, all the wind knocked out of the imp's lungs. Upon standing up once more, he noticed a spiraling sword heading his way at a blistering speed. Zerah immediately ducked under it and ran the other way, but upon looking back, it appeared the sword was following him. "Are you fucking kidding me with this?" He shouted. The sword was catching up quickly and Zerah was forced to jump out of the way, sending the sword flying in front of him, cutting through multiple fearen in the process. Seeing how powerful the spinning blade was definitely put the imp on edge, as it had sliced through multiple bodies without any problem. Then, an idea popped into his head. If he could get up in the air at Valdus' height and get behind him, the sword would surely follow. If the man was too busy focusing on Zerah and not his own sword, it would surely be able to slice the man in two! Zerah didn't have much time to think out the details of this plan as he rolled out of the way once more. This was the imp's only option if he wanted to get rid of that wretched warrior once and for all. Zerah ran in the opposite direction of the battlefield, finding the bulk fearen he had knocked over before struggling to get back up. That'd work. Zerah waited for the sword once more, the blade flying by the imp's head, creating a gash across the imp's face and flew a few feet away, slicing through more fearen. This was the only opportunity he had. The bulk fearen that had fallen to the ground had finally managed to lift itself up, and Zerah was leaping off it's shoulders once more, only instead of the fearen falling, it was sliced in half by the golden sword following the imp. If Zerah planned this right, he'd leap over Valdus, if only slightly, and with the sword following through, it would cut the man in half (probably).

After the attacks from the swords died down, Galystris turned her attention to her opponent, internally praising whatever gods that were out there no major harm had come to her. She heard Kama's yelling, and her head whipped around in Alroth's direction. "That bastard....what kind of mind do you have to have to think that this is justice..." she muttered angrily. She calmed herself down a bit and pushed back her anger, she can't fight like this. Galystris readied her stance, and began to feel her hands and the place around her to drop in temperature. Hoping to take her enemy off guard, no matter how outlandish that hope may be, she readied a frostbolt and shot it at him, hoping to do some damage. A blank expression remained on her face as she continued to push all thoughts except the effectiveness of the hit. He was her target, and she didn't want to miss.
