he focused a Haste spell onto Osseus, Zerah, and Kama "Thanks Enoch!" He hollered, hoping to cut his way through the fearen to get a clear path. It was only then when his ears were 'graced' with a sickening sound. ]with a feral crouch, Licca leapt at Luair intending to dig her claws into the small elf's back. She hissed and spurted comprehensible nonsense about Manasa while trying to turn the small elf's head towards her. The fearen had no concern that in doing so she would end up snapping Luair's neck. " I d̕i̡dn'̀t͘ ́d̡o ̕i̧t, I͟ ̶d͡idn't͠ ̛d͠ơ ̡it,̛ I͞ HA͟T̨Ę ͟Y̧O̸U͜!͏" She screech like a child holding a temper tantrum, her emotions constantly changing from self pity, to fear, to vindictiveness. At this point the goblin was completely and utterly irrational. His stomach churned at the sight of the fearen, carrying her head around like a ball on a string. It was either lose Luair, or lose everyone to Valdus; the most difficult call he could ever make. A realization hit him as his brain scrambled to make a final decision. Victory wouldn't be worth it if he didn't have anyone to celebrate it with.
With his enhanced speed, he could potentially make quick work of the fearen and still get to Valdus in the small window of time allotted, but he had to act quickly. "I have something I need to do, FOCUS ON PULLING HIM DOWN," He ordered to Daryn and Enoch before advancing toward the goblin fearen. He grabbed the tendrils on standby and tied them together so that they couldn't be in use, remembering what they did to Kama. They'd absolutely be a threat, and he'd have to disable them. Then, he grabbed the fearen by said tendrils, hoping to shake her off balance to release Luair. "Your fight is with me, you petulant f-cking shit-brain." He growled, his eyes gleaming with hatred.

Luair heard someone scream right behind her. She turned her head and saw a fearen hurtling straight at her. She yelped, attempting to duck away. Falling to her knees she backed away, still in shock. She hadn't completely evaded the fearen's attack and Luair winced as fresh blood trickled down her arm. Yet she continued the plan. Luckily, she hadn't released the string from the second arrow.
'Osseus!' she cried, noticing his arrival. 'The plan!' If only she'd taken more notice of her surroundings, she wouldn't have dragged Osseus into this fight. But with this fearen's appearance, she was caught off guard and could have suffered fatal injuries. She trembled as she watched the fearen screech words too hard to understand.
'I need to... I need to.' She needed to keep herself together. 'I need to focus.'
Clutching the string with all her might, she readied herself.

Licca howled in pain as her tendrils were knotted together, the sensation of a part of her body going numb to her returning once more as said knot cut circulation. She was dragged along the floor, loosing grip of her head with helplessly tumbled to the ground beside her. Licca cried out, her shaking voice filled with sorrow as she grabbed desperately at her head. It was no use. In a split decision she caused her knotted tendrils to go limp, before turning to a mucky substance and melting to the floor. now freed, the goblin scampered over to her head and clutched it, sobbing to herself. Then, with a sniffle her cries settled. " Wh̸y a͝r͠e̷ ҉you͘ ͟so m̧e̢an̛?"

"Right now, I'm less concerned with who he is and what he's done, and more concerned with saving my son," Celty answered, lowering herself to the ground. Her wings folded back into her back and she put her energy into strengthening the muscles in her legs and arms. "But if we have to crack open a few heads to get to him, then so be it." She shot towards Nel again. "Stop dodging and fight!" "Of course." Nel laughed replying sarcastically. 'Saving her son, yes. He's been vital in saving children.' She found the thought to be ridiculous, using him to save someone they were close to. "And just what has he done to save anyone!" Clasping her right hand over her left Nel held her sword straight out in front of her. The blade ready to meet the woman's charge. Were she to charge as well she would be fighting an uphill battle, a prospect that did not seem appealing. Instead she hoped to try and force Celty to run into her sword. Ekh and Reave stood guard at the exit, watching the battle before them intently. Should anyone else try to approach they needed to be prepared to go on the offensive. Occasionally their glances would turn behind them. While ideally they would help, fighting in such a small space made the chances more likely to bring injury to the others.
Gremlon flew back onto the ground pathetically. His mask flew off, tears were in his eyes, and his right leg was shedding off. "I can't do this again." he said under his breath. "I can't fight her again. Why? Why did it have to be her?" Gremlon's blood was only getting worse due to his lost limbs. The world around him was getting brighter in his eyes. He had to sit down in order to continue breathing for now. "I can't be defeated like big goblin. I can't be defeated by big goblin... tsk... the irony behind that. How do I deal with this? heh... good old depressing memories I can't seem to escape..." Then Gremlon spoke to Urzul again, "If you're defeated, then you wont be able to give me your name. So I'll give you another chance. Let's start over... hi, I'm Gremlon, so WHAT'S YOUR NAME!?" Gremlon then shot fearen bodies and fearen body parts at Urzul from a bunch of different angles. Seeing the Gremlon was now down Urzul began to advance with slow, heavy steps. The fearen he had thrown at her hitting her only served to make the orc annoyed. She let out a growl at the goblins words and began to raise her club, it was clear that until her final moments she would speak not a word.

Mimisko glared at Urzul for the stunt she is going to pull. If Mimisko doesn't not do something soon, Gemlon could be done for! Mimisko set up another and aims towards Urzul's knee. This is not the best option but this is the only option without killingg Urzul.
"Ready and Stand..."
Mimisko shoots the fire arrow.

The tendrils melted in his hands, leaving only a disgusting goop dripping down from his hands as the little fearen scrambled for her head. If it was so important that she'd lose a huge part of her offensive capability to get it... An idea struck him. He grabbed the head by the hair and chucked it across the room, looking directly in the eye for a few split seconds. The results were hundreds of images flashing, all of horrilble memories he had endured throughout the years, giving him a pretty horrible headache in the process. It didn't matter, the pain would have to be ignored for the greater good. Whether or not his throw was far enough to warrant death, it didn't matter. He had a target. He swerved around fearen, intentionally going through the most dangerous path possible to throw Licca off in case she managed to survive. He then took a leap off of a bulk fearen, intending to tackle the false god to immobilize and attack.

He swerved around fearen, intentionally going through the most dangerous path possible to throw Licca off in case she managed to survive. He then took a leap off of a bulk fearen, intending to tackle the false god to immobilize and attack. Licca hissed and attempted to bite Osseus, but was helpless to defend herself as he catapulted her head across the room. As the distance between her and her body grew the body began to convulse and act violently, until suddenly falling to the ground, dead. Licca landed on the top of her head with a screech, tumbling several paces before landing helplessly in a clearing far from the battle. She was all alone, the familiar feeling of being without a body returning to her once more. The fearen started to sniffle and then cry. " M̵̢̡̨͡o̶̡̧o̸̸̢ò̵͘͏ò͜o͠͞͡o̡o҉ó̀̕͞ǫ̷m̧̢̡m̧m̷̨͘͏͏ỳ̛͝y̵̧͘y̡̛y̷̢͜͝!̴͠͞ ̶̸̀͠P҉̧͟r͢͞o̶͘͟͟͞o̷̕͘͜͜ò̸҉o̸̵̶o̡͘͜͡͠o̸̶̡p͟͏h̢͢͏̶h͡h̡͟͢h̨̨͝i̵͟͏́ì͢͜͟į̨̀͝i̡̨̛į̕͢͡í̶ì̸i̛͏̡͟t̶̢!͟͢"
Her voice was barely different from a regular fearen's cry at this point. When she discovered so it only served to make her cry harder until all that was let was raspy hiccups. "M͡o͢mmy̕.̡.̷.̧."
Mommy! Mommy, look. Prophet gave me this, it's a map of the whooooooole world! That's amazing, Licca. One day I'm gonna explore all over it! Especially right there. Look, Mommy. Prophet said that's called the sea. Oh? Are you going to be a pirate? Noooooo, pirates are mean. I know! I'll fight the pirates! You have to be brave to fight pirates, they're mean to crybabies. I'm not a crybaby! Haha! Of course. You're a very brave girl, Licca.
Tears welled in Licca's eyes. She continued to mutter to herself as she waited for another one of the shadow slayers to come over, it was all she could do. What little of her memories were fading and distorting fast. She was starting to even lose her grip in her own name. Yet despite how many pieces of herself she lost the crying persisted, as it always did. All they was left of Licca was a scared little girl waiting to die.

As Ooro stood silent for a moment, taking in what had just transpired. Her body had begun to ache now, being that she had just exerted it rather roughly. As she was just about to be on her way, something was caught in the corner of her eye.
A blue gem gleamed dimly, surrounded by a wooden staff had been abandoned just a few steps away from her. She picked it up, curious of its placement and the location of its owner. It was familiar, and she knew she's seen it somewhere, as her eyes inspected it- they caught glimpse of a green fabric knotted around the upper handle. That's... my cloak. Instantly had she remembered the master of the item, as Altheron had kept the remnants of her destroyed article of clothing long ago. Her eyes skimmed the battlefield, but he was not in immediate sight with the surrounding chaos. She clutched the wooden hilt tighter between her fingers, making sure not to leave it behind.
Ooro's ears twitched, and she shuffled to witness the battle-worn imp resting among a pool of his own "blood." Her eyes widened upon seeing his exhausted state, before scurrying over to his side. She reached for her rucksack, unsure if he really needed any medical aid from her. His, well, blood, usually had him covered more or less, or so it seemed. However, he did request for something to "wake him up", and luckily there was an all-too-common herb she always carried with her for such occasions. While she usually only handed out a single leaf, this time she actually ripped one its smaller branches off the stem. She continued to divide them into smaller sections, before offering a fistful of the herb to the imp. "Can you swallow it?" As one arm outstretched in front of the imp's mouth, she retrieved a rag from her bag and continued to wipe the smaller cuts and nicks he received on his person.
As she waited for the imp to attempt to swallow the crushed bits, she inquired, "If you have the strength afterwards, I'd appreciate if you told me the plan. Though, uh, don't strain yourself." Zerah had help defend her against the onslaught of Osseus' mother, and before he had jumped into their fray, he had already appeared slightly battered from before. If anything, he had probably been fighting tooth and nail for quite awhile now, it's no wonder why he'd be so exhausted.

Zerah had help defend her against the onslaught of Osseus' mother, and before he had jumped into their fray, he had already appeared slightly battered from before. If anything, he had probably been fighting tooth and nail for quite awhile now, it's no wonder why he'd be so exhausted. Zerah swallowed the bits of leaves Ooro offered to him, a bitter taste left in his mouth. The herbs seemed to do the trick, as Zerah found himself slowly coming to and feeling revitalized. It was a strange feeling, coming back from what he assumed was the brink of death. It was......peaceful, in a way. He stood up once more, raising his arm to scratch the back of his head, only to realize there was no arm. He remembered the fearen woman from before had rotted that arm away, and it was surely somewhere on the battlefield. Not that it'd be any use now. It took him a second to realize what Ooro had said, to which he giggled. "Plan? I didn't know there was a plan heheh...All I know is that Kama, Galystris and I have been fighting off Valdus. Surprised I didn't see Alroth over there..Maybe they're off fighting their own fearen..heheh. Anyways, the plan I'M going for is just: Kill Valdus." Zerah shrugged. The mention of a plan discouraged the imp rather than put him at ease. If people were making plans without the whole guild knowing, they could accidentally interfere. Zerah shook his head, an annoyed look plastered on his face. "This guild is such garbage. If we had worked as a team in the first place and thought up some kind of battle strategy, Valdus would already be dead by now!" He scoffed. The imp faced towards the direction of Valdus once more, the guild seeming to close in. The pool of blood that had covered the ground from before shot its way up to his arms, creating the beastly heads from before, now even more ravenous and enraged than ever. Zerah turned back to face Ooro "Take matters into your own hands. These people aren't going to look out for you. Not in the middle of battle. I mean, you had to fight that last humanoid all by yourself, right?" With that, Zerah began sprinting towards Valdus once more, the beasts' jaws agape.

She let out a growl at the goblins words and began to raise her club, it was clear that until her final moments she would speak not a word. "Not saying a word. That's just like you, and I'm just here talking too much. That's what made us such a great team right? One of us was straight forward, and the other quite random. I never wanted to fight you. I wanted to fight with you, and the others." "You know, I might not ever get your name... but that wont make me think less of you as a fighter, since you might just be the one to kill me." Gremlon quietly whispered to himself. Gremlon continued, "I can't do it. I can't kill her. It shouldn't have to be like this. Anyone else could do it, right? Or perhaps... I am the one, or rather, was the one who saw it happen." Memories began to flow into Gremlon's mind, "Her death..." Gremlon tried to resist, "I can't-" Urzul was in range to completely squash Gremlon in an instant. "-No I have to... even if it means..." Gremlon's heart gave an aching feeling, "I have to replay it from the beginning." At this dire situation it would make sense to grab fearen wings to escape this attack, but Gremlon used a bunch of skulls to push his foot up instead. A bulk fearen's remains, controlled by Gremlon, stood in Urzul's way. Gremlon began to talk to himself, but he was high enough for nobody else to hear, "I was launched into the air by... h- what am I doing?" Gremlon was controlling a deceased winged fearen to make it float in the air. "I was charging at a winged fearen... at full speed" Gremlon's necromancy put fearen body parts in the shape of Celty. "As an order, I saved someone who despises me... and that's when." Gremlon controlled a dozen sting fearen to surround Urzul below him. " What kind of sick and twisted final attack is this? If only I was strong enough to keep the remains of my body.." He could feel bits of his leg tearing apart. Once Gremlon reached the winged fearen he concluded, "but, this is how it happened... before I was able to get her name..." Gremlon had guilt, lots of it, but this was the way his fighting companion died. The dozen sting fearen Gremlon controlled subsequently self-destructed. " I'm sorry, big goblin." His leg, being the last remaining limb he had, rotted off.

Mimisko face away from what's to come. "Please find peace, young one."

Clarissa had finally reached her hat, digging through it with Oxy's small arms as she feverishly searched for something. She clasped the child's hand around a small metal object. It was a tiny mirror. She pulled it out and examined the boy's face for a moment before grinning wickedly. "Perfect."

(((you can all just go with urzul died or whatever theres really nothing i can write on that also this post is probably going to be bad and poorly paced its really hard to figure out what to say))) At the last moment, Celty leaned down and dragged her nails across the floor, slowing her down enough so she didn't collide with the blade. She continued sliding, and extended a leg to try and kick Nel down. If speed was one of their greatest abilities, then disabling that in any way possible was her best bet. Nel gasped seeing the shifter dodge her sword, with Celty in such range she did not have time to react. With her kick Nel went down grunting as she hit the floor, her short sword clattering as it landed nearby. Slightly disoriented she laid on the floor unable to get up. Pained raspy breaths drew in and out of the healer's lungs, the stinging of his injuries slowly growing. Staring up towards the ceiling he let out a pathetic sob before he finally succumbed to unconsciousness, his last living moments spent basically alone. Rees looked up towards Rezza grasping at his right shoulder. Cursing loudly he stood over the small man's body. "You really couldn't just wait a few?" He spat as he raised his right boot, then slammed it through the man's head. "You useless piece of shit. Oh well, I'm sure they'll be happy just to know you're finally gone." Sighing he looked towards the doorway as he picked the body by the back of it's shawl. "Maybe just a little over-zealous, I admit. There's that one hundred-fifty percent, eh dad?" He chuckled lowly as he moved to the other end of the room. How he would get back was not something he thought about, simply that his part in this plan was to prevent the healer's rescue. "Well, at worst it'll kill me.." His legs ached from trying to exert so much extra force from them, but he did his best to ignore this as he decided to push past his limit once more. While these fearen bodies were more durable than their human ones he was aware they had limits. At a speed he almost couldn't keep up with his feet began pounding against the ground. As he neared the doorway he jumped slamming leg first through the weakest part, before tumbling down through the passage with several pained grunts. "Hey, you." Rees called out when he finally came to a stop near the bottom. "If you want him so much then fine, you can have him." Reeling his arm back the man threw the body out into the gold room, it slid a few feet on before coming to a rest. Once the cloth of the shawl left his hand he laid back. It was clear the only thing keeping them all going was their endurance, and even that was close to its limit. ((so this is gonna be my last post for this rp. overall its been a really fun experience and really the first and only time i can really say that about an rp. I really enjoyed so much of my time in this, up until only this week. but thanks for putting up with my character and interacting with him all of you guys really made this a good experience.))

Celty’s face contorted into a mixture of grief and terror as the man’s body skid across the floor, her hands shaking as tremors went through her torso. She had failed. She couldn’t save him in time…
Clarissa suddenly dropped the mirror as she felt her third host leave this world, eyes opening wide with shock. “He’s gone.” She whispered to no one, seeming to forget herself as she stared blankly through the child’s eyes. She bit Oxy’s lip and blood trailed down his chin. She welcomed the pain. She needed to remember that she was alive right now. She needed to--. The sob that came out of the child’s mouth surprised even her. Where had this sorrow come from? She had barely known him. The conversation where they made the contract was the only real interaction they had had… and yet…Clarissa barely noticed the slow footsteps approaching her, and when she did she could barely tilt her head in their general direction, unable to move as she sat with the hat in her lap. She seemed utterly defeated. Celty stood across from her, tired eyes on the body of her son. Watching one of her allies die as she stood by helplessly really hit the nail on the head for how weak she was in comparison to the rest of her team. Anyone else would have been better to defend him. Hell, even her one-year-old son was a better fighter than she was. And now the man was dead. Perhaps if she’d been less concerned with her own agenda she might have been able to do something... But it was too late now. It was just her and the witch. It was time to end this.Celty lifted her chin up as high as she could and took another shaky step forward. “So you’ve come to kill me then, hero,” Clarissa spat the words out of the child’s mouth like a curse. “Come to burn out the witch and save your boy? What’s another life on your hands?” She started to turn a bit more, Oxy’s eyes closed as a purple tear leaked from his eye. “Creatures like me were never welcomed here. People like that man will always die alone. And hero’s like you,” she suddenly opened his eyes, staring at Celty with a look of burning hatred, “will always destroy the innocent.”{Spoiler - Click to View} Celty covered her mouth with both hands, pulling away from her child as she tried to stifle the cry that came from her mouth. Of all the places for the mark to have manifested, why there?Clarissa stood and fully faced Celty now, the left eye glowing intensely where the mark nested. She let out a dark cackle, seeming to go into hysterics. “You know what’s really funny about all this?” She laughed, slapping her knee. “I actually wanted you to save him for some god damn reason! Hell if I fucking know why! I didn’t even care if he wasn’t my host anymore!” Her laughter became bitter and turned into hacking as she attempted to hold in the sob that had left her mouth earlier. “He was fucking nice to a piece of shit witch like me! Can you believe that?! I tried to kill you all and he defended me! Me! And he gave up part of his life in an instant!” This seemed to way on her heavily, her shoulders shaking. “I used him to gain something for myself and he didn’t doubt me for a moment! ‘There’s no crime in wanting to live’ he said! Fuck that, of course there is! When all I’ve ever done is destroy!” She clutched at Oxy’s head and was no longer able to hold back the torrent of emotions she’s been suppressing for centuries. “And even now, I want to live. After all of this shit and knowing that not a single soul left in this world wants me here, I still want to live. None of this is fair! I didn’t ask to be made like this! I didn’t ask to be born!” Celty stared at Clarissa in shock. This was not the reaction she’d been expecting. She’d prepared herself for taunts, attacks, and bargaining, but not this helpless heap on the ground before her. Clarissa lowered her hands to her side, staring blankly at the floor. “And now, at the end, I can’t even defend myself.” She looked back up to Celty, defeated, “because your boy’s contract states I can’t hurt you anymore.” These words hung thickly in the air for a few moments before Clarissa collapsed to the floor. “So go on then,” She whispered, her eyes challenging. “Blind your own child and be done with me.”

Zerah continued sprinting towards Valdus, annoyance still present. These people. Making stupid plans and not telling anyone! That's so dumb!! Just go in for the damn kill. Your wasting your time with these stupid plans of yours. He scowled as he was nearly upon Valdus. I'll show those idiots how its done. The imp's left 'mouth' let out a blood-curdling growl before shifting into a drill. Zerah's plan, if you could even call it that, was as simple as he had explained it to Ooro. Kill Valdus. The head began spiraling at a blistering speed, enough to burrow through the dome walls, or better yet, the man's armor. As he was nearly upon the man, Zerah couldn't help but feel the rage building inside of him. {Spoiler - Click to View}"Heheh, you know, I haven't met a lady as nice as you in a long time!" Zerah chuckled, scratching at his bare chest. "I'm really glad you stuck around." Ruth smiled at the imp, amused by how genuinely happy he seemed to be with her presence. After nearly a year of traveling, having someone to speak to was a welcome change. She sat up on the bed next to him, ruffling her hair a bit before pulling him close to her, giving him a peck on cheek. " I'm very glad I stayed, too. Being able to unwind and not worry about anything in the world for awhile is something I really missed. And it's even better when I can share it with somebody cute like you." Zerah blushed at her words, waving his feet in the air as they dangled from the bed. Ruth's face turned into a frown, however, as she knew she'd be leaving in the morning. Zerah noticed her change in mood, realizing what it signified. "So.....You're really leaving tomorrow, huh..?" He mumbled, looking down at the floor. Ruth looked over to him. " Yes....but, you could come with me! I'm sure the Shadow Slayers would love to have you! You and I could fight side by side, against those awful fearen!" She tried to get him excited and cheer him up, but to no avail. It was clear he had no interest in leaving the castle. " Eh..worth a shot! I guess, not a lot of people are accepting when it comes to looks. I mean, if you joined the Shadow Slayers, that stuffy ole Kama would probably be jealous of you, considering how good you look for your age!" She chuckled, which made Zerah grin. " And hey, if you're still in this castle once I join the guild, I'm sure we'll make our way here! And then you and I could have even more great times together." She rubbed the imp's shoulder, trying to console him as he began to tear up. "I'm gonna miss you..." Zerah finally muttered. " I'll miss you, too, Zerah." {Kinda NSFW (Ruth in her bra)} That was the last night he ever saw Ruth. If he had known that'd be the last time he ever saw the woman, he would've told her how he felt, as cliche as it sounds. And it was Valdus' fault! Summoning these creatures so that the man could 'be the hero' was the most disgusting, despicable and self-righteous thing that he could think of. To doom humanity to play God was childish and foolish, and this idiotic decision Valdus had made that caused the woman Zerah loved to die was not going to end well for him. With the drill spinning faster than the imp ever thought possible, he lunged towards this false god, tears streaking down his face and death in his eyes.
