((I'm not gonna bother quoting people here because there'd be a lot to quote.)) Valdus was quickly hit in the chest by the icicles that Galystris shot, causing all of the armor on his torso to begin cracking and breaking apart. The Shadow Slayers were too slow to hit him with a close ranged attack before he started to fly back up, but as Valdus was flying back up he noticed something. When Valdus realized something was pulling him down by the cape he shouted "WHAT? DAMN IT!" He tried to cut his cape off using a golden sword but it was too late. Daryn and Enoch pulled Valdus down using the string tied to the arrows in his cape before Valdus cut the cape off, causing Valdus to fall to the floor once again. Valdus surrounded himself in giant golden shields as he shouted "You all are making a mistake! This is my duty as the chosen one! I alone must save this world from it's despair! I alone must become the god of prophecy and end the world's suffering! I ALONE AM THE HERO IGNIS NEEDS!" Kama found it strange that Valdus kept emphasizing the word "alone", but it was in that moment that Kama realized why Valdus was doing all of this. It was because Valdus was alone. Everyone always had such high expectations from Valdus because he was believed to be the chosen one. Everyone treated Valdus like he was different and they put the weight of the world on his shoulders because everyone expected Valdus to solve all of the world's problems. Valdus felt alone in the world, feeling like he had to figure it out himself when he tried to come up with a way to make the world a better place. Kama thought to himself "If only I could have been there for Valdus sooner. If only I could have talked him out of this before everything went to hell. It's too late for him now... Valdus... can't be saved."Kama hesitated before doing so, but he used all of his strength to perform a fire slash to knock down the golden shield that was in front of the Shadow Slayers as he commanded "FINISH HIIIIIIIIIIIIM!" Osseus ran in to tackle Valdus while Zerah drilled his way towards the chosen one as well and then {Spoiler} Valdus was defeated Osseus slammed Valdus into the wall, leaving him completely unable to block. Zerah broke through Valdus's chest armor and drilled directly at his chest as Osseus stabbed him in the stomach at the same time, causing Valdus to fall down on the floor soaking in his own blood. All of Valdus's golden weapons disappeared and all of the fearens around them vanished into dust. At long last the chaos seemed to finally be over, but not for long. At that moment Kama witnessed the strangest thing he had ever seen in his life. Valdus's lifeless body started floating upwards slowly with his arms held out and his head down. Valdus's irises and pupils were suddenly gone, and a black ooze started falling out of his eyes and mouth. As his dead body levitated just slightly above the ground a forcefield surrounded him, preventing anyone from stopping this strange event that was going on. All of the Shadow Slayers could hear the sounds of souls crying and screaming in pain quietly in the distance, but it wasn't clear where these sounds were coming from, and the entire guild could feel the fearsome aura that lingered throughout the temple. It was like nothing they had ever felt before throughout this whole adventure. The aura felt pure evil and absolutely terrifying, creating a feeling of fear like nothing Kama had ever experienced before. This strange aura that Valdus's dead body was creating made it feel as if they were all going to die. Kama wasn't sure why, but as he stared at the chosen one oozing out this black substance he had the terrible feeling that they were all doomed.Current Objective

Daryn had been overjoyed to see Valdus go down and the fearen disappear. She thought it was all over, and in her glee dropped the string she'd been holding. When Valdus started levitating again however, Daryn's overwhelming feeling of despair drowned out all other emotions. What now? What's going on? This aura of absolute hopelessness gripped her body and soul, and all she could do was slowly turn her head towards the one she'd grown to trust, like, even treasure by her side. "Enoch?"

"ON IT!" Osseus yelled out as he successfully tacked his target, ready to go for the kill. Zerah's presence only made it easier as he broke through Valdus' armor; a perfect tag-team. It was exhilarating. His plans were actually being put into motion, and he actually played an instrumental role in taking down this disgusting creature. His pride overtook him as he repeatedly jabbed Valdus in his chest, his face covered in the man's blood. It was the makings of the world's sweetest victory. And yet.... This strange aura that Valdus's dead body was creating made it feel as if they were all going to die. Kama wasn't sure why, but as he stared at the chosen one oozing out this black substance he had the terrible feeling that they were all doomed. He should have known. He should have fucking known this type of shit was going to happen. There was no way defeating Valdus was this easy. His footing seemed to falter as he shook profusely, trying to grasp what the hell was happening. He whipped his head all over the coliseum, trying to survey how everyone else was reacting. It was only when his gaze wandered to his guild leader when he remembered his promise. "I'm not backing down. I'm letting any of you guys down," He remarked to Kama, tightening his grip on his prized dagger as he jerked his head to the 'thing'. His voice wavered, but his message was clear. "NEVER." He had to be the anchor in this fight: if a little boy could face danger with no hesitation, others could too.

The contrast between the back to back feelings of relief and the feelings of suffocating dread could only be likened to a sharp stab to the gut. It wasn't over. The faint screams that echoed through the temple instilled a panic unlike any other as he watched the reanimated corpse of Valdus float back into the air. The priest tried to still his shaking hands but failed. He tried to relax his despaired expression but failed. People needed him to stay calm and yet, in the face of such an inexplicable evil, he couldn't hide behind his cold calculations. Making eye contact with his close companion, he held it for the longest moment before swallowing hard. It took every fibre of his being to return his gaze back to the horror that awaited them, but with a brave facade his shaking hands pointed his glaive at the enemy and awaited its next move. This was all he could do. He wanted nothing more than to smile and reassure the swordswoman that it would be okay. That there was nothing to be afraid of. That he had a plan. But he didn't.

Luair watched the black substance pour out of Valdus's corpse. Fear struck her heart yet from it came a resolve. 'It cannot end like this. It cannot.' This was the one thing she wished for at that moment, her hold on Tveiralmr loosening. She turned to her teammates and her expression softened. What wouldn't she give for them to be smiling.

"Valdus was a fool. He thought he could control me. He thought he could tame my power. Valdus was wrong, and now his mistake will cause all life on Ignis to come to an end."
"Prepare yourselves to witness the face of demise." The sword behind Valdus activated and the darkness that was surrounding the sword began covering Valdus's body. The temple was destroyed and chunks of the temple flew up to the sky, leaving the Shadow Slayers on a wide open battlefield. Valdus's arms and hands then started turning into bone, wings sprouting from his back, and his cape turned darker as it was torn up from the sheer power being generated from this transformation. A brown cloak surrounded the chosen one's body, and his eyes began glowing red. Valdus transformed into someone else entirely. What stood before them was no longer the chosen one, but rather a god. The most powerful god in all of history was in front of them, ready to kill. What stood before them was Sandor, the evil god of prophecy. Using his prohphecy power to create any future, he used his power to create something devastating. The sky was covered in darkness as far as the eye could see as the Shadow Slayers looked above them to see an entire mountain about to fall on top of them. Sandor just stood there with no defenses up, but showed no fear in being underneath this mountain that was about to crush them all, as if he knew that this wasn't powerful enough to harm him. Kama looked up at the mountain in the sky and shouted "I hope someone has a plan! How the hell are we supposed to be able to deal with this?!?!?!" Sandor the evil god of prophecy Sandor is the evil god of prophecy. He is the most powerful being in the history of Ignis, being more powerful than any other god who ever lived. Sandor has the power to create almost any prophecy, allowing him to do just about anything that he imagines in the form of an unstoppable future. Sandor has no known weakness, no known limits, and is completely impossible to kill due to his immortality. He is faster than the speed of light, strong enough to destroy entire armies, and has seemingly limitless defense. Sandor is the ultimate killing machine who has no concept of mercy or sympathy, and has never been defeated in a one on one battle throughout all of eternity. His god powers even allow him to defy the laws of will, space, and time. There is no one more powerful than Sandor. ((Special thanks to Tenshi for making the picture. Also keep in mind that this is not the same Sandor as the one you know from Sandor goes to school. The character from Sandor goes to school is a parody version of this character. This Sandor is much more dark and serious and is far more powerful.)) Current Objective
Defeat Sandor.

It won't end like this... He shouted, "As soon as I cast this, attack and then get out of the way!!" Pushing one of the magic restorative bulbs between his teeth, he poured all of his magic into a powerful Slow spell, its affects almost mimicking Timestop but rather than actually forcing the priest to step out of frozen time, it merely slowed time to a crawl. Focusing the spell on the oncoming attack and Sandor, he drained his remaining mana and cast it, hoping and praying that it would stop the mountain's collapse long enough for everyone to dodge.

This is who dark elves worshiped as a true harbinger of balance in the world. This god who was hellbent on the destruction of all living beings on Ignis. He firmly grasped his dagger and hung his head to the ground, wishing fervently for Yakoshi's divine intervention. If Sandor was right in front of him, Yakoshi had to have existed somewhere out there. Somewhere...something.... there had to be something to ape at to get a good start on the battle... he had to be the brave elf boy everyone can look to... It was then when he spotted the god's greatest mistake. Osseus had to act quick, even if it meant his own death in the process. With Enoch's support in dodging the mountain, he slid past the guild members, tip-toeing as to not cause any suspicion. When he got a good view behind him, he jumped up on his wing, using his dagger to try and stab his way on to prevent falling off. With this, he hoped, he could at least try and disable his flight capabilities. Either that or get a better vantage point, or flat out distract the god. A repeat of the Fearos situation in this moment would be ideal. And defeating a god would make him the most bad-ass person to ever live on Ignis.

Mimisko couldn't beleieve her eyes. Valdus had turned into Sandor. The very same thing that Mimisko was accused of being a spawn of..Mimisko glared but she was also in great amount of fear. " Mimisko..." Suddenly, an unfamiliar male voice spoke to her. " Huh?! Who is this??" " You may not believe me but this is Heiyato. I'm finally able to speak to you with telepathy." Mimisko couldn't beleive it. But, this may be her only option. " What you need to do is focus." "Right..." It seems Enoch is gonna prepare a spell. While he's doing that, it's time for Mimisko to foucus. Multi-colored fire surround her. She is powering up. "Once, Enoch's spell has fullfilled, it will be time to be ready.." She is doing this for the sake of everyone. The guild, the world and family, dead or alive.

This was the first time that Fallen had ever been in the presence of a god. He was shocked speechless. While everyone was fighting the humanoid fearens, he had been making preparations ahead of time in case an event like this occurred. While he expected something different, like one of the giant beasts they faced before, he never would have thought they'd have to fight a literal God. But now was not the time to just stand still. It never is.
And now there was a mountain falling on them. There wouldn't be enough time to get out of the impact point, especially with the wounded. Their best bet was to reduce the size of the mountain to something more manageable. It would be even better if they could destroy it altogether.
Fallen noticed on his way to the temple that the soil surrounding it was full of xylodes. Because of this, he had fallen behind the guild, staying back to unearth the minerals. Now he could perform any attack. And thanks to Enoch, he now had plenty of time to use his biggest attack.
The ground rumbled beneath them. Fallen began forming a very large arrow out of the xylodes and fired it at the looming mass above. "Transmute: Decimation!"
((Decimation - A very large arrow. Very strong attack with a wide path of destruction, but does not move very fast at all. Can easily be evaded by a unit that is fast enough. Not very practical unless unit is under the effects of "crowd control".))

Zerah jumped for joy when he managed to drill straight through Valuds' chest, finally ending the hero once and for all. Or at least he thought he had. When the hero's body began flying again, Zerah prepared to attack once more, only something was stopping him. A feeling of absolute dread and hopelessness. He watched as black ooze poured from the man's mouth, eyes widened as he looked at his own hands. Was.....was Valdus like me..? This thought was quickly changed as he watched the man transform into a being everyone on Ignis could recognize. "Ke'Levre" Zerah muttered in his native tongue. Seeing that black substance morph Valdus into Sandor himself caused Zerah to look at his own hands. Was this stuff really the Gods' blood? He didn't have much time to ponder this as a mountain was crashing down upon the guild. Zerah began running off to the side, a slow spell seemingly active thanks to Enoch, when he noticed Manasa passed out. How long had she been like that? He looked up towards the mountain, towards safety and back to Manasa, silently cursing himself. The imp scurried over to her, picking her up bridal-style and sprinted as quickly as he could out of harm's way. He set her down farther off from the battlefield, hoping that Sandor wouldn't harm her. His eyes were locked back on Sandor, a scowl spreading across his face. He began sprinting towards the 'God', his mask suddenly speaking up. We're going against Ke'Levre! There's nothing you can do, you fool! We're all going to die here! "SHUT UP!" Zerah shouted. "IF YOU'RE REALLY THE ALGAREES, YOU SHOULD WANT SOME DAMN REVENGE!" But I'm no- The mask's voice was cut short as Zerah slid it over his face. The eyes began glowing once more as the blood covering his arms began consuming his whole body. The ooze began to violently contort shifting the imp into something completely different than before. The beast, now towering at 15 feet tall, sprinted faster than he ever had before toward the supposed God of Prophecy. Only one thought was in his mind. KILL SANDOR.The beast rushed the God, arm morphed into a drill once more, ready to tear through Sandor's chest with the power and speed of a bullet train. {Current Zerah}

'Is this a... god?' Luair was speechless. Never in her life would she thought to meet a god, even to go against one in battle. She'd only seen Sandor's name briefly in her people's scriptures. But there was more to focus on. If nothing was to be done, a whole mountain would engulf them all and do them all in for good.
And she did just that. She launched an arrow, hesitant to cause damage to a celestial being and made her escape. She didn't want to go alone, and she looked to see if others had taken the same actions.

"As soon as I cast this, attack and then get out of the way!!" Kama nodded in approval and shouted "You heard the man! ATTAAAAAAACK!" Enoch's spell succeeded and the mountain was slowed down immensely, but it wasn't clear whether or not this slow spell was working on Sandor. Kama charged towards Sandor and saw Osseus attacking the enemy in front of them already. Sandor's wing simply vanished entirely at the last second, causing Osseus to miss his attack. Sandor looked at Osseus and said "Foolish mortal. Do you think such trickery will work on me? Resistance is futile. My power has no limits." He flicked his wrist causing a forcefield appear and expand extremely quickly, intending to push Osseus away with an enormous amount of force. He then made his wing re-appear right before Zerah attacked him. The beast rushed the God, arm morphed into a drill once more, ready to tear through Sandor's chest with the power and speed of a bullet train. Sandor stopped the immensely powerful attack with nothing but his bare hand. The drill was constantly pushing Sandor's body back, and only caused a scratch on his hand made of bones. He then shot out a giant dark energy beam in Zerah's direction with his other hand. She launched an arrow, hesitant to cause damage to a celestial being and made her escape. She didn't want to go alone, and she looked to see if others had taken the same actions. The arrow that Luair shot launched straight towards Sandor from his right, but Sandor dodged it so fast that it looked as if he simply teleported away and shot a massive wave of fire in her direction. Kama also attempted to attack Sandor. He ran towards Sandor's left in screaming at the top of his lungs and slashed at Sandor as fast as he possibly could with all of the force he could muster, but it was useless. Sandor grabbed the sword and broke it in half effortlessly with just his thumb and his index finger as if it were nothing more than a small twig. Kama stared at his broken sword in shock and Sandor said to him "Weapons of the mortal realm will do me no harm. Your blades are weak, and your body even weaker."The ground rumbled beneath them. Fallen began forming a very large arrow out of the xylodes and fired it at the looming mass above. "Transmute: Decimation!" ((Decimation - A very large arrow. Very strong attack with a wide path of destruction, but does not move very fast at all. Can easily be evaded by a unit that is fast enough. Not very practical unless unit is under the effects of "crowd control".)) The arrow that Fallen shot clashed with the mountain so hard that it created a huge crack on the bottom, but it wasn't powerful enough to destroy the mountain entirely. This was clearly no ordinary mountain since it didn't break but the power of the arrow did have enough force to push the mountain up a little bit, slowing down the mountain significantly. Kama started running away from Sandor with his head down, losing hope that he'd be able to beat the prophecy god before the mountain fell on them. Kama shouted to his guild "EVERYBODY RUUUUUUUN! THERE'S NO USE IN ATTACKING! WE NEED TO GET OUT OF THIS ATTACK RANGE AND COME UP WITH A PLAN!" ((You don't have to follow Kama's orders if you'd like to keep attacking. I imagine role playing as your character running might not be that fun.))

Sandor stopped the immensely powerful attack with nothing but his bare hand. The drill was constantly pushing Sandor's body back, and only caused a scratch on his hand made of bones. He then shot out a giant dark energy beam in Zerah's direction with his other hand. While Zerah's attack managed to push the God back, it wasn't nearly enough to do the job he had intended for. The beam landed square into his chest before rolling out of the way, causing him to scream out in pain. The power behind that attack was unbelievable. He'd never seen a creature so powerful. While this would scare any other being on the planet, Zerah's blood began pumping again. THIS was the challenge he was looking for. But could it even be won? That's when Zerah noticed something. The hand he had used to block the attack. It's scratched!?!? The horrific beast shouted in a gargled mix of Zerah and what sounded like three other voices. " THE HAND! IT'S SCRATCHED!! HE CAN BE INJURED! KILL THE FAKE GOD!!!" A hope brewed inside of the beast as he rushed Sandor once more, this time, his hands morphed into the beasts he had used in battle before. Both arms howled along side Zerah himself as the attacked Sandor once more, trying to bite and tear away at the God's chest and head.
