"Џоц aяє иот allошєd то dїє alоиє." She said. "₴о gєт цp. Їт's aЬоцт тїмё тнє циfоятциaтё cёlёвґaтє a vїcтояу." The healer coughed and sputtered as he was brought back to the land of the living. Clarity's voice greeted him in his first moments. "I'm alive..." He whispered to himself as he slowly opened his eyes stifling his rough uneven breaths. "Y...you saved me?" Though the witch was no longer beside him he addressed this quiet inquiry to her. Laying limp on the ground he tried to steady his breathing, unsure of whether he had really died or not. While he had been out before he never came back feeling like this, like everything had just stopped. Recalling his condition in his previous moments of consciousness he threw a spell over himself, uncertain if anything had changed as feeling slowly returned to him. Kama turned to the other members of the guild and shouted "This black mist is weakening our god powers so we need to finish this quickly! Gremlon and I, along with anyone else who can use fire will give as much fire we can to Mimisko. Rezza I need you to heal my torso so that I can focus on producing as much fire as possible. Enoch and Manasa I need you two to give Mimisko as much of a boost as you can while she prepares the finishing blow. Everyone else keep Sandor busy until Mimisko is ready! Kama's orders hit Rezza's ears causing them to flick forward. "God powers..?" Continuing to whisper he stumbled to his feet. "O- Kay whatever you say. I'm comin' mister Kimchi." Looking around he tried to find the man with his slightly unfocused vision. To find Kama's energy in the crowd ahead of him, he had healed the old man twice before surely he should be able to remember what he had focused on. As his gaze began to move he noticed a strange almost fiery mass heading for him. Barely able to feel his feet he knew that trying to run could lead to something getting broken, but he couldn't sit still forever. Letting his body fall to the side he rolled out of the way, the flames just managing to singe his toes. The sensation pulled him out of his stupor into wild bewilderment. "Sandor!?" He cried recalling the tail-end of Kama's orders. Locking onto to who he believed to be Kama he scrambled towards him on all fours. Clearing out his mind he directed a strong healing spell towards the leader. "Where the hell are we," Upon the successful casting of the spell his thoughts ran back through his mind. "what is this Sandor business, what about Valdus!? What in the god-loving fuck is going on here, I swear I died for a few minutes there." His voice cracked and squeaked as he cried out, his questions pouring from his mouth. Stopping just short of the others he collapsed flat on the ground. His jagged uneasy breathing and almost irregular heart beat bringing his attention more towards himself. Laying his face flat on the ground he noticed his hair was no longer tied back, and now fell around the sides of his head. Lifting his head up he looked down at himself. The front of his shirt soaked in blood, centered around a slit just under his ribs. Removing his shawl he noted that the collar was now a distorted brown moistened with what he was sure was his own blood.

Watching the damage multiply as his daggers, as well as everyone else's efforts, absolutely destroy the god left the boy feeling utterly giddy. He was about to sprint in for a final attack when- Sandor summoned even more black fire and shot them all at every member of the guild His speed seemed to dissipate as he was going towards his target. While softened from the slight graduality of the mist, the resulting inertia sent the boy flying forward, the black fire landing a direct hit on his torso in the process. It seemed to reignite the pain from the slash his mother delivered as his body was dragging across the ground, the friction severely scraping his back like sandpaper. "Not here... not this way..." he croaked out, trying his best not to let Sandor win by hearing his screams. He attempted to stand, only to tumble again and again. Headaches resurfaced as he tried again and again to get to Sandor, his unwavering resolution overpowering any common sense. The last thing that graced his eyes was the beautiful arrow Mimisko sent out, ready to tear the god to shreds. "Good luck... Mimisko..." a single tear rolled down his cheek as his body seemed to give out, barely grasping onto his own life.

Sandor was unable to hit Mimisko right away because Zerah used his drill to push him back, causing his attack to miss. Before Sandor could attack Zerah his feet were frozen by Galystris, and before he could break the ice on his feet he was binded by the overwhelmingly bright golden magic Clarity used. He regained his vision and quickly summoned a red sword once again to break Galystris's ice, only to be hit by a devastating attack coming from his own spawn who's claw nearly defeated him, but that attack wasn't enough. Sandor flew upwards to get out of their attack range, but Pinky hit him with root spears, stalling him even further. Rezza healed Kama, allowing him to provide even more fire. The mana and speed Enoch gave, the mana and magic power Manasa gave, the fire Pinky's tree provided, and the fire from Fallen's xylodes and Emporer Gem were all given to Mimisko. They all worked together to deliver one final attack. Sandor finally shot his black fire blast straight at Mimisko, and her barrage of white fire just barely made it in time to stop the attack, and then her fire arrow provided enough power to rival Sandor's attack. Both Sandor's black fire and Mimisko's white fire clashed, both of them pushing against each other in the center of the battlefield. Sandor started gaining the upper hand. The black fire getting dangerously close to Mimisko, but Mimisko refused to give up and kept pushing. The white fire made it to the center of the two fighters again only for the struggle between the two to continue. The black fire spreading everywhere was making it difficult for the other guild members to help anymore, so all they could do was hope for Mimisko to come out on top. The clash between the two fighters felt like an eternity, both of them pushing back and fourth again and again and again, until eventually one of them came out on top. The world would either be saved by Mimisko, or destroyed by Sandor. The moment of truth finally came. The end of result of the fight became clear in that final moment...{Spoiler} Ignis was saved The white holy flames hit Sandor, causing him to light on fire from both the inside and the outside. Sandor's body began lighting up from inside his body, and holy light shot out of his eyes and mouth as it tore him apart. Sandor was screaming in pain shouting the last words the Shadow Slayers would ever hear from him "THIS ISN'T OVER SHADOW SLAYERS! I WILL RETURN ONE DAY TO GET MY REVENGE! I CANNOT BE KILLED! I AM IMMORTAL! I WILL COME BACK TO HUNT YOU DOWN AND SHOW EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU THE FACE OF DEMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISE!" Sandor exploded as the light burst through his body, tearing him to shreds. Sandor was defeated at long last, and Ignis was saved. Every fearen on the planet disappeared, the cloud of darkness that covered the sky went away and the Shadow Slayers could once again see the endless blue sky. What was once a terrifying battlefield looked so much more bright and peaceful as the light of the sun shined down upon them. The gods who were sealed away were set free, able to bring peace to Ignis once again. All of the souls that were trapped within the fearens and the enchanted sword turned back to normal and were finally set free as well as they all flew upwards towards the afterlife, looking happy and grateful that their spirits were finally set free. Kama looked up with a smile on his face, proud that his guild finally did it. He said to them "We did it you guys... we saved the world." --- With the fearens gone everyone began to rebuild society back to the way it was. What was once a world that seemed hopeless and ruined was rebuilt into a time of peace and happiness. As the world started shifting back to the way it was, all of those who lived on Ignis passed around the story of a group of heroes. They were a group of heroes who's story would live on for generations. They were the group of heroes that became inspirations for the world to behold. A story of the heroes who saved the entire world from the apocalypse. They were remembered as the guild consisting of Kama the heroic leader, Zerah the imp who conquered the ultimate pain, Rezza the most famous healer in history, Luair the great elf who carried on the will of her kingdom, Galystris the amazing ice mage, Manasa the greatest Vishkanyan to ever live, Osseus the thief who redeemed himself, Ooro the selfless supporter that elves everywhere looked up to, Altheron the mysterious shaman, Urzul the noble orc, Gremlon the strange goblin, Pinky the toughest and strongest pixie in the world, Celty the inspirational mom who did everything she could for her son Oxy, Gaynor the incredible fire mage who avenged her children, Nicolas the famous blacksmith, Enoch the wise messenger of Archex, Odessa the talented magician, Rylan the powerful priest, Daryn the bravest of them all, Fallen the genius archer, and Mimisko the one who conquered her fear and was the first to join their guild. They were remembered as... {Spoiler} Current Objective
Now that the game is over I would like everyone to write a short summary of what happens to your character over the next couple of years while society is being rebuilt. If your character's ending involves someone elses character then please ask for permission to use their character in your ending and let them know what you plan to do with their character through a private message. Please clarify in double parenthesis if you are done role playing or if you're still up for character interactions at the beginning of your character's ending summary post. From this point on (including the character's ending summary) you may role play with as many characters as you want. TenshiHanka/Otakrap will now be the host of this role playing game so if you have any questions or concerns you may go to him. There are also other things you can do in this thread now but these are entirely optional: - You may continue role playing on this thread before or after making your ending summary, but there will no longer be an over-arching story or any fights provided for this game (I would like Trevor, Cassiroll, Aurablade, Allie, Gisselle, and Arenia to private message me after they're done reading this post because I have ideas I'd like to tell them about for their character ending summaries).
- You may post any media you've made related to the game on this thread, such as artwork, videos, AU fanfictions, songs etc. You may want to clarify in double parenthesis if you're making a post that isn't a role playing post.
- This thread is now open to any Shadow Slayers related discussions. You may post your thoughts on Shadow Slayers (please keep any criticism constructive), or anything you want to say relating to the role playing game, but make it clear that it's not a role playing post.
Thank you
Thank you everyone for playing Shadow Slayers, and thank you all so much for making this such an amazing experience. This is the best play-by-post role playing experience I've ever had, and is by far the most successful role playing game I've ever created. Each and every one of your characters has been a fantastic addition to this story, and all of you have been so co-operative and dedicated. There were times when managing this large-scale game became stressful, but all of your support and enthusiasm has made the effort worth it.

[This happened before Sandor's defeat, alrighty?] The given powers from the Gods began to deplete and in what was her greatest fear, Sandor landed a hit on Osseus. Her heart stopped as his body was flung across the ground. She pushed herself forward; a leaden weight in every step she took. She could see that he attempted to stand, yet would topple quickly after he did. Seeing that he possessed such a great resolve, even now was unbearable. He fell over once more. This would be the moment when he would then stand. Though this moment hadn't come. And at this point, Luair was metres away from his side. 'Osseus!' she screamed, using what breath she had left. She clutched onto his hand, and looked upon him. He was barely responsive and his eyes were closed. 'You cannot die Osseus! Not right now, not when we are this close to defeating Sandor! Do not leave me!' Her throat was bogged up yet she spoke, 'I wish to be with you always! I wish to go wherever you may go! I wish-' Everything that she had said, the moments that she had shared with him. She felt foolish that it hadn't been clear to her for so long. And it felt foolish to have kept such thoughts away, to be unaware of them herself. Tears flowed from her eyes then refusing the hesitate she said, 'I love you, Osseus!' She repeated those words as much as her lungs would take, sobbing relentlessly. It did not matter whether he would reciprocate; all she wanted was for him to live. This was something that she hadn't lost, and could lose. And Luair refused to see a world without him. She noticed that he still had the anklet on him. Bringing it to the light, its power had not weakened. And she knew exactly what she had to do. She would transmute its energy into him. Doing so would turn the anklet into dust, the treasure that was harked as the safekeeper of her kingdom. But she would not let that fact stop her. To save him, to help him like he'd done for her many time there were no boundaries. The anklet's natural glow started to fade the more she recited the words that her father taught her. The words he said to use in great need. To use to save someone. Eventually the anklet crumbled away and the process reached its end. Luair waited for him. '

That was that. Sandor was finally defeated. He was back in hell where he belong. Everyone has done it.
And Mimisko really helped out!
Mimisko jumped up into the air out of excitetment. "WE DID IT!!! WE MADE IT!! WE PREVAILE!!! WE SAVED IGNIS!!"That was the loudest Mimisko ever cheered and for good reason. Mimisko calmed done for a moment and she bowed for a bit, out of politeness. She says to everyone around "Thank you all...for giving me strength... to help be become stronger than I was before. You all are the best~"((Mimisko's Ending In the Spoiler)) {Spoiler} Mimisko's Happy Ending
After defeating Sandor, Mimisko has grown. She was able to reunite with her brother, Kelemio, and his guild. Her brother was able to break the crystallized spell that the ice mage from Mimisko's past was in. (The ice mage's name being "Girimio") They all team up had one final goal before started kicking Teinpanalu's butt. (Who she stole something from Sandor while he was still around in order to be alive and solid. It was a struggle, no doubt about that. However, after all the training and battles that Mimisko has been in, it was easier that she would've managed during the beginning. She finally did it. Mimisko defeated Teinpanalu. The wretched feind, wanting to hurt Mimisko, her mother, Kama, and everyone else in Shadow Slayers. The same woman who cause people Mimisko contected with into heartless zombies. All the pain of that... is over. Teinpanalu is back in hell with Sandor from once she came. As that happened, there was another crytallized person Tenpanalu used for her benifits. Mimisko set free a girl that she recall from the flashback from the memory orb.. Molarcy of the Light. Molarcy is also another person that sees Mimisko as who she is. However, due to work, she never got the chance to even interact with Mimisko properly. Now both girls finally can. Before they got back to their old town, Mimisko and Kelemio made a memorial for their parents, who had passed on and are at rest. They're at peace and they are up with Yakoshi now. Mimisko also made a memorial of the Shadow Slayers that died. Odessa and Rylan. Mimisko will never forget them as well. Mimisko knows that her father and Rylan are pretty similar. The only difference is part of their personalities...and her father's dad jokes. Mimisko, Kelemio, Girimio, and Molarcy visited up to their old town. Surprisingly, the few old town folk that are still alive apologized to Mimisko for all the harm they done to her and they have no idea what has gotten into them for all these years. Mimisko realized that might've been Teinpanalu (as well as Sandor). So, she forgave them. They all went into the old house Kelemio and Mimisko, which, surprisingly in not that broken after Ignis went down. However, it was still a mess so Mimisko and Kelemio cleaned it up. They, along with Girimio and Molarcy, lived together like a family, while adopting. a young child that lost their parents, and fight together when an enemy appears. Mimisko also had the honer of having Kama become her teacher. He taught her to use her fire magic to power up weapons. She manage to surpasses Kama, evetually. Every New Years, Mimisko invite some Shadow Slayers members that are still alive to celebrate. With the help of Heiyato flying about, given them messages, and leading them where they need to go. And with that... ...After all the pain of oppression, the near end of the world, and other terrible things....
....Mimisko finally has her happy ending. She is, without a doubt...a hero.((P.M. If you wanna add the New Years thing in your ending.)) ((I would like to thank you all for playing in this RP with me. This has been a real blast~!. ^^ This RP also helped me how I can develop a character like Mimisko~. This has been one of the greatest RPs on Creative Studio Forum. You guys rock. :') and I'm happy I was able to join as I can~.))

It was only after the final battle with Sandor that Osseus finally managed to wake up, noticing a loss of weight on his ankle and tears soaking his clothing. His eyes attempted to adjust to the surroundings, taking in the changed coloring of the sky and the rest of the area. "We...did it..." he weakly spoke, fervently thanking Archex, Yakoshi, and the entire guild. He attempted to get up to congratulate everyone, but the pain kept him from such a task. He opted to just lie there, listening in to what Luair had to say, despite demonstrating no physical ability to do so in his condition. One phrase stuck out to him, being repeated over and over. The words he had been waiting to hear all this time. His eyes widened as he grasped onto Luair's hand, finally ready to announce what's been on his mind the whole time. "I... love you too...." His lips curled into a genuine smile. He averted his gaze for a split second to face where Sandor once stood, reveling in his victory for what should have been the final time he would have to do so. Essentially, he travels with Luair, stopping for a while to be tutored with Mimisko by Kama, eventually surpassing him in terms of skill with bladed weapons and height (since he literally grows up to be 6' 8''). He also hangs out with Kama and Daryn getting drunk as shit late in the night and doing stupid shit when drunk. Then Luair and Osseus settle down, living happily ever with their two adorable children who harass the neighbors. ((I would be sort of up for more RPing, but I wouldn't mind letting it end here)). Ok so you're going to get quality incoherent cheese n' sap from good ol allie factory Man, this rp has been the fuckin' bomb. Like, the literal best rp I've been in; and it's really hard to top Sandor and Nyoto smoking weed with Satan. I've done RPs: shitty DeviantArt ones, Creative Gakuen, IRL ones with my brother and his friends, LARPing, and a ton of other shit. But this was more than an RP: it's art, music, writing, parody fanime, comics, stupid jokes, and overall having a great time over the course of nearly 3 months. I really want to be able to talk to you guys on a regular basis after the RP is over since I legit love you all. Like 100% legit.

Rezza jumped slightly upon hearing the evil god's shouts, looking up his vision struggled to focus on what appeared to be the dissipating form of Sandor. "Huh... You guys did it, I guess." Clearing his throat, he dropped his shawl looking around. "I was wrong in questioning your fighting capabilities then. Though, I would certainly love an answer as to just how Sandor himself got here. Or some sort of explanation as to just what on god's beautiful green Ignis went down here at the very least..." He allowed his body to drop back to the ground and folded his arms in front of him, resting his head on top of them. His breathing was still notably unstable, though he did his best to keep it close to a normal pace. ((i dont really mind if you do still want to interact with him im cool either way since the rp will still be continuing in some capacity.)) Returning to the world Rezza recalled what he had seen in his brief time of passing. It seemed as if everyone he knew was all together. All except for Father Arch. Unsure of whether this meant the man was truly alive or not Rezza set off on a short journey to the remnants of his old temple. Making his way into the clearing it was certainly different from what it had been two years prior. The ashes were replaced with new growth, and the three grave markers the brothers had made to honor their masters had decayed significantly. Walking towards them he bowed before the crude cross like structure he put up. It appeared he really was the last one left. He would have to pass on what he knew of the convents teachings alone. As he became absorbed in that thought quiet footsteps made their way through the grass. "Rezza Light, you truly HAVE returned." Hearing a sudden voice behind him the healer turned with a start, coming face to face with Father Arch who held in his hands an odd staff. The small man's eyes fixed on it as he could see at either end were cages around two glass orbs each containing a small wisp-like object, that twisted and danced within the small space. "Your time isn't over yet." Opening one of the cages Arch removed the orb containing the green wisp, and held it out towards Rezza. "Father Arch...?" Rezza hesitantly held out his hand cradling the orb gently, a familiar presence emanating from it. "There is no need to address me with such a title. Murm Lumi will do fine enough." In the small blink of an eye the staff he was holding was gone. "I would suggest you take fair care of that, as I'm about to reveal to you something not even my equals knew. I had bound each members souls to myself, while they prioritize their bonds with their own body's I may take or release them at will." The pale man chuckled at his next sentence. "Call me selfish but I simply couldn't bear to lose my dearest friends and companions to fate." Looking down at Rezza's hand he cleared his throat. "Anyway, that one you are holding is Crea Luscen, known to others as Father San. While I do hate to let go of such an old friend, even temporarily, I am aware the relationship between you two is a bond even I could not break." Upon hearing this explanation Rezza looked once again to the orb in his hand and held it close to his chest. Nodding the healer held back tears as he placed it carefully in his pack. "Well, it's now your responsibility to pass on the teachings of our little group." Murm held out his hands a satchel full of books materializing in them. Grabbing the strap he carefully offered it to the small man. "Your training is still far from over, however. I hope you will find these texts useful, books on the spells you never bothered to learn, Crea's book he learned each of his chants from, old records of the history of this whole little thing. Those are mostly just journals from, who you would call, Father Yako. Trem was always eager to keep records of all events for future generations, said it was characteristic of a Scinti. A family trait." Quietly Rezza accepted the bag and its heavy contents. "Thank you Fa-" His words were hushed as he bowed, letting out a soft growl of frustration as he uttered the man's real name. "Murm, I do not aim to disappoint anyone." Straightening his body Rezza slipped the pack over his shoulders allowing his words to return to a normal volume. "Much like the sun's light I will bring good to the people, carrying out lord Yakoshi's will for all those who have passed. I will show others the desire to survive, and take every chance they are given to continue living. That there is no wrong in living even at a detriment to those around you." Murm listened thoughtfully as Rezza spoke. Giving one final bow the man was gone, having disappeared in thin air as his parting words hung in the air. "I am glad you see it that way." He made good on his promise going off to form a new convent just outside of a small grouping of towns, going on to become Father Light. He soon took on a young protege who dubbed themself Acoou Light, who would carry on these teachings and his masters ideals. That those who wish to live have the right to; and each and every force and being in existence, each and every god was necessary to this world. Years later he returned to the spot his convent once stood, noticing the trapdoor to the basement Murm did his studies in remaining completely intact. The man himself was now nowhere to be seen but had left behind a few objects such as gems, metals, books, parchments, as well as a note. "I am relieved to hear you believe that those like me, who must hurt others to sustain ourselves, deserve the life we have been given. Young Rezza, I request that you don't search for me, I will see you soon enough. For now I will simply leave you these, I hope you find them to be helpful. Crea would certainly be proud of what you have accomplished, you and him are very alike. -Arch" ((((this hopefully factors in EVERYTHING essential to his character and has some actually thought put behind it.))))

It was over. It was finally over. The world was no longer underneath the tyranny of the fearen. "We did it...!" she whispered to herself. The most genuine grin that had crossed her face in a long time graced her features. Tears fell from her eyes, and she would have berated herself for showing weakness, but she didn't care. They had won. After helping rebuild and staying with the guild for a while, she went back to check on her old town. The town that once rejected her welcomed her back with open arms, but it all felt slightly empty. Velanora had gone missing, and she had no friends or family left to turn to. The only bit of light in her life was a child she adopted, Sanctusen. She trained her in basic arcane magic instead of frost, as she didnt want anybody else to go through the social issues she did. When they parted ways when she was 18, Galystris' life had returned to the bunch of white noise it was. Sanctusen had gone missing at the age of 22, leaving Galystris alone with no family or friends She became a royal advisor for the faction she belonged to and was regarded highly as a mage. But it all felt unfullfilling. She'd often think back on her days in the guild...and how she'd wished she'd spoken with people more. She was caught up in keeping herself strong and never thought about her feelings.... She lived a life full of accomplishments, one many would be grateful for... But Galystris Dawnfury never truly learned what it was like to have a friend. ((this may be changed if we keep rping before everyone goes their seperate ways))
Ok guys, I'm really glad I joined this rp. I got to connect with so manny wonderful people! Not only was the rp really really fun, it made my day a bit better when school was overwhelming me. This is probably the greatest rp I've ever been a part of, and I've been rping on and off in different styles for about 2 years. Thank you guys so much for the fun!

{Spoiler}Kama looked up with a smile on his face, proud that his guild finally did it. He said to them "We did it you guys... we saved the world."
Zerah couldn't believe his eyes. Mimisko actually did it. Sandor exploded into a flash of white light, and the darkness that had covered Ignis for 2 years was finally lifted. Being able to see the beautiful blue sky once more, and all the horrid events that had transpired finally being over, a strange feeling began washing over the imp. A feeling he hadn't felt in so long, it was hard to distinguish it. But the word finally came to him, and a warm smile spread across his face from ear to ear. "Peace...." {Zerahs Happy Ending}It was finally over. The fearen were vanquished, Sandor was defeated, and all was right with the world. The Shadow Slayers had finally succeeded in doing what nobody before them could. Throughout the battlefield, a wave of tranquility settled amongst them. The future was finally bright once more. The world could begin anew. Life could flourish and ignis could become the great land it had once been. The Shadow Slayers had created the one thing the world had lacked for two long years. Hope.
Knowing that Zerah was a part of this filled him with a happiness like no other. He had gotten everything he had truly wanted in the end. He got the revenge he had seeked from the beginning, the kind he never thought possible. He helped the world to become a better place. And above all else, he made friends. Even if it were only for a short time, being among people once more was more than the imp could have asked for. In this, Zerah found peace. It seemed everything the imp could have asked for, he had achieved. There was only one thing he had to come to terms with. One thing he needed to know for sure. Kama mentioned to the imp that his wife could perhaps cure him of the God's blood, to which he kindly declined, stating "There's no need. But thank you." And with that, he said his goodbyes to every member of the guild, even the ones he hadn't necessarily gotten along with, and began on his way. While the joy of being in such a large group was something he would surely miss, each guild member likely had goals they wished to achieve themselves, and things they wanted to aspire to. Zerah was one such guild member, with one goal in mind. He spent the next year traveling from town to town, city to city, library after library, reading up on Algarees' Face, or as it was more properly known as The Mask of Th'Lygreos. A mask with the ability to grant its owner eternal youth. As Zerah spent nearly a year reading book after book on the subject, he came to the conclusion he had already come to long ago. It was in this, Zerah had finally found peace. He had found the answer he needed all along. There was merely one thing left for the imp to do... Zerah traveled the world, back to the origin of the mask. Amidst an enormous rainforest, there it stood. The Temple of Th'Lygreos. A smile dawned on Zerah's face. The moment had finally come. The imp climbed the cobbled steps and entered the temple's mossy corridor. Overgrowth had filled it's walls, but became much less abundant the further in he walked. The sunlight shown through the temple's hall, landing upon an empty pedestal. Zerah stood in front of it, blowing away the dust that had collected over time and smiled. "Welp." He began. "Today's the day. Today's the day you get my body." Yes. It would appear so.
"And all this time, I thought it would be the Algarees who got it. Heheh." Zerah chuckled, scratching the back of his head. You, er, rather, WE knew all along. The Mask wasn't what was going to take us in the end. Death was.."Heheh..Yeah. My mind.." Zerah looked down at his hands. "My mind got so messed up by the God's blood, it blew my fear way out of proportion." Yes. It was a coping mechanism. With death always an inevitability, even with the mask, we needed to fight against it. Personifying death as The Algarees was easier than facing the issue head on...
"Heheh, yeah..it definitely made it easier to deal with. But...." Zerah stopped for a moment. "After visiting my village with Osseus, letting the cleansing waters heal me....I remembered..everything..." Tears began to form in the imp's eyes. "I was so scared....this blood was going to kill me...I needed to fight against it. It was all I had for a long time..." But now it's over.
Zerah wiped his eyes, smiling once more. "Yeah. I mean, I COULD stick around, just in case Sandor showed his ugly face again! But....the heroes of that time can handle it..They don't need an old man like me slowing them down...heheh.." So we're really doing it then?Zerah removed the mask from his head, staring at the hideous face once more. "Yeah. This is it. Today's the day." A lump began to form in the imp's throat. You know....even after all the time we've spent on Ignis, all the suffering we've done, knowing that we can go peacefully.....I'm still terrified...Because....There's no coming back from this....
Zerah placed the mask on the pedestal and plopped down in front of it, leaning against the cold stone. "Yeah. I know. It's scary...but it's worth it." .....So...what do we do now...?
"Nothing." Zerah smiled as he let out a relaxed sigh. The blood that formed his arms liquified and poured to the floor, spreading out before sinking into the cracks between floor tiles, leaving nothing but his stumps behind. This was it. The imp's deathbed. And he had come to accept and welcome it. For in his mind, he knew one thing. He had been born a monster. A being unfit for this world. One that had been ridiculed, run out of towns, attacked, so much so that he began playing along. But now, he was no longer a monster. He fought against that fate with everything he could. And it worked. he would no longer die a monster like he had always been told. No. This time, he got to play the role of a hero. A hero, who against all odds, helped save Ignis. And it felt good, knowing his legacy would not be The Lapiz Town Monster. Instead, he may not even be remembered in history. His legacy was Zerah. And that's all he ever wanted it to be. Soon enough, the aging process began. There was no pain, no regret, no sadness. Nothing but peace filled the imp's heart. The imp soon aged away, turning into a pile of dust at the foot of the pedestal, his soul finally being able to rest peacefully after 415 years.

It was all over. Sandor was no more. The dark mist vanished, and Gremlon could use his necromancy again. His bones naturally went back to his body. Gremlon took out his flower charm that mimisko gave him, and then put in back on his chest. Without saying a single word, Gremlon left ((Gremlon's ending)) Gremlon walked back. He backtracked to the castle, to the coliseum, and to where they first fought fearen. Once he arrived, he found a face that he didn't see for years. The wizard ((which can be seen in Gremlon's bio)) She spoke, "Surprised Goblim? Its I, Witkaka. You should be sorry for what you said about me, shouldn't you?" Gremlon didn't respond. "Ha hahhhhhh. Afraid? Cat got your tongue? Or do you have no insults for me this time? You NERD!" It was quite obvious, this magician was really easy to make fun of. Oddly enough, it actually was a challenge not to make fun of them. Gremlon could immediately tell she was short, able to have such a dumb name, wearing a terrible design for an outfit, wearing a belt on their head, wearing an over saturated hat that wore glasses, wearing clothes that had arrows which tried to reveal their flat chest, wearing words that were spelled incorrectly including the words "hat" "fabulous" and "hot", wearing a turtleneck that has the face of a turtle on it, trying to pull off an orange and green hair color, putting on a really stupid face expression, saying "Goblim" instead of "Goblin", and trying to use "NERD" as a comeback to the same insult. Despite all of these things, Gremlon didn't say a word. The wizard continued to make bizarre stupid looking faces while talking. "Ha Hahhhh. Are you offended Goblim? Or are you just looking at my beautiful body? Everyone in all of Ignis wants some. My attractiveness is off the charts you see. Everyone who goes near me compliments my good looks, and anyone who denies it gets punished. It's plain and simple. I'm too attractive for insults. You now know the pain of insulting me right? Be a good little Goblim and get down on your knees and apologize and kiss my feet... and give me some money!" After finishing her ridiculous run-on sentence, she realized Gremlon wasn't interested in what she had to say. "You must be wondering... where is the cure to your curse? How come you can't seem to get rid of it? Well, I'm not going to tell you... Okay I'll tell you, because its funny. Jokes on you because... There is no cure!" She wiggled her fingers and gave Gremlon a devilish face. Gremlon didn't respond to her, instead... Gremlon shot a bone through her head. The wizard cried again, and for the last time. Soon after she fell to the ground like a useless bag of potatoes. Gremlon then went to lay down next to Urzul's body. "It's been a long journey for me... Even though I never got to know your name... Thanks again big goblin. It's kinda funny, how all this happened... and even if you didn't see it I'm sorry. Sorry for taking your skull... taking part of your cape... reenacting your death. I'm pretty messed up huh? Maybe that stupid wizard was right after all... heh... but she's gone now... finally... but this curse just isn't, but I'm happy. I can finally fall alongside a fighting companion. This is good, right? That's all I wanted... but I messed up and perhaps I'm paying for my wrongdoings. In the end of all of it, I guess I'm just... a useless goblin." Gremlon began to have tears again, knowing he would die then and there. "I'm scared. It's burning my body... but it's so cold..." Gremlon died The night sky was at peace. A silence filled the atmosphere. A purple flame lit up in the distance. A silence filled the atmosphere. "..." "Why are you still here?" "Why are you stuck here?" "Do you not want to move on?" "It's the end huh?" "..." "Gremlon was it?" "They want to see you live Gremlon." "I can feel it." "They're eager to see you live." "I believe they miss you." "and their will... they want to see you again." "that's just a hunch." "You have good friends Gremlon." "Rylan, Manasa, and Mimisko to name a few." "So why?" "Why do you head back?" "...because you miss your friend" "I find that sweet." "You deserve to live." "I have the feeling... that is what the others are wishing right now." "So..." "Hopefully, I'll help make that wish come true" "Sacred fire"Gremlon became conscious again. The first thing he saw was a peaceful looking face of the mysterious girl. She was sitting next to Gremlon. Gremlon immediately started talking again, "Y-your eye a-and your arm." "Don't worry" she responded as she lifted her hand off of Gremlon. Her arm had purple flames which healed off her wounds. "This is my family's ability, 'Sacred Fire.' Its a technique only known in our family which allows us to bring the dead back to life, at the cost of the vision of one eye. My ability allows me to take in the wounds of others, and then I heal them with my own magic... Your curse should be no more fortunately." "Th- thank you. I owe you my life now..." Gremlon replied. "No, please don't feel that way. You and your friends helped save my suffering..." Ayahana looked down looking depressed. "What happened? You always look so... sad." Gremlon asked. "Well... Necrosis... was all my fault. I tried to save my brother who was experimented on... he was turned into a lizard hybrid... Like you, I wanted him back. I made the mistake of trying to bring him back... but I wasn't strong enough." A silence filled the atmosphere. "Then I was forced to eat my first friend... my pet Puko. I was forced to watch the darkness torment my mother's life... Necrosis fought my mother... I tried to shout as loud as I could 'Don't use Sacred Fire, I'm still alive'... but my mother couldn't hear me. My mother was consumed as well... Necrosis would torment me by constantly drowning me in the others' terrible memories... My family... even my enemies. They were actually nice people... It took the deceased bodies of the soldiers Vastebon killed. After that is when... Necrosis was summoned elsewhere. Your friend Rylan suffered a great deal, much more than I'd imagine. Necrosis took advantage of tormenting me with his past... and how he knew you told him yours... It was far too much for me to handle, until I was saved by your healer..." Gremlon said to her, "It's not your fault. These things happen, and we have to power through them whichever way we know how. That's right, we're survivors and that's why we could survive to live another day. When there was no more light, we got around the obstacle that blocked our way. That's what I say about it, and what I'll keep saying about it... By the way... uh- o- this is awkward... uh..." "Yes?" "UH- Let's forget I messed up! I- I mean.. Let's start over!" "?" "Hi, I'm Gremlon even though you already know that, what's your name?" "Oh right! My name! I'm Ayahana Evangelia. A pleasure to meet you." Ayahana replied. "All RIGHT! How 'bout we catch up with the others eh?" Gremlon stood up. "O- Okay!" They both traveled together in search for the other Shadow Slayers after both of their adventures were over.

At long last, the two terrible years of torment were brought to a close. Daryn set Fallen down to recover after catching him and turned to watch Mimisko defeat Sandor with pride in her eyes. It was all finally over. No more battling fearen, no more encountering ginormous foes. No more risking horrendous deaths. When it was all over, all Daryn could do was jump for joy and howl in excitement. “WOOHOO!”She ran up to Mimisko just in time for her to thank everyone. It was all over. Their journey, the war, the apocalypse, all finally came to a close. Thanks to Mimisko, Kama, and the entire guild, the world was finally at peace after 2 long years of suffering and torment. Even though he knew this fact, it didn't fully sink in until cheers and congratulatory shouts began to echo across the guild. A few hot tears stung his eyes as they ran down his cheeks, smiling and looking towards the small fire mage that had grown so much. They did it."Thank you all...for giving me strength... to help be become stronger than I was before. You all are the best~"Daryn opted to clap the girl on the shoulder, laughing loudly with tears flowing from her eyes. “Ya really did it, kiddo!” She said between laughter. “We all did it!” She yelled, raising her arms high before performing a clumsy twirl of excitement. When she stopped, she wasn’t far from Enoch. Someone who she couldn’t deny had become a precious presence in her life. Still laughing, she grabbed him roughly into a hug, thanking the gods in her mind for letting them all come to this point. The point where she could accept that they were going to live, and they could all be happy. Where she could allow herself to show how much she cared. Tearful laughter started falling from his lips as he watched Daryn's reveling, resisting the urge to grab her up into a joyous hug, restraining himself after remembering her reaction to the embrace after the previous battle. She'd grown to be one of his dearest companions over their journey, and one of his major sources of happiness during their hardships. He smiled warmly over to her as she approached him, almost in shock as she grabbed him up into a hug. “You know something?” she said before breaking the hug and setting both arms on his shoulders to face him properly. “You’re alright!” Enoch stared back at her, grinning widely and snatching her back up into a tight hug, laughing and shaking his head. "That's a pretty big compliment coming from you!" he smirked. He held her there for a moment before letting go, smiling and watching the other joyous guild members. The melancholy began to set in for him. It was all over. Not only had the war against the fearen come to an end, but their journey together had as well. People would now begin to go their separate ways. To return home, to rebuild, to find survivors... There were some people whose presence he'd really come to take for granted during their journey. Sharing this experience with others had meant so much to him, that the thought of traveling alone again had become unpleasant. Would anyone even want to travel with him? There was so much he wanted to share, so many wonderful things he wanted his friends to see, but... certainly they had their own lives to try and rebuild? He too was interested in searching for survivors and attempting to restore society but unlike many of the others, he truly had no home to return to. Enoch looked back over at Daryn, remembering their conversations around the campfire that very first night. Perhaps...“Well,” she breathed, “Now that it’s all over…” she trailed off and looked around at all the happy, victorious faces, “I wouldn’t mind, you know, travelling the world and all that. Er, with you. You know.” She looked back at him with an expression she tried to make look serious but failed at hiding her hopeful spirit, “That is, if the offer is still open?” A wide smile spread across his face as she articulated her thoughts before he gathered to courage to speak his, the priest brimming with excitement as he grabbed her hand. "Absolutely!!" he shouted, starry-eyed as the possibility of a continued journey with her became a reality. "There's so much I want to show you! Waterfalls, castles, mountains, the ice canyon and aurora borealis!" He was gesticulating wildly, letting go of her hand and pantomiming some of the sights as he spoke of them. Just yesterday this sort of talk would have been nothing more than naive musings but now... the tears that had been already flowing free now streamed down his face. "Where should we start!?" -- ((Daryn is still open for RPing))Daryn joined Enoch in his travels, enjoying the sights along the way. Her main interest when it came to survivors was arranging security, by means of training them in combat when she could. When it came to family, she knew for sure her mother was dead, but had no idea what happened to her father. He was across Ignis living in a cabin when the apocalypse came forth. He had survived and helped others around his area when it all blew over. It would take Daryn seven years after Shadow Slayers to meet him, and by that time Daryn and Enoch had a three year old child named Genesis. Daryn and her father didn’t even speak, as Enoch had business elsewhere when they had come to that part of their journey. In fact, it’s doubtful Daryn and her father even recognized each other. There would be the lingering thought, Is that them?, but ultimately neither of them asked each other about it. Daryn had let go of the pain she had felt for him leaving her back when she’d been with the Shadow Slayers.

((refer to schribbit's post for Enoch's entire end of battle thing!)) “Well,” she breathed, “Now that it’s all over…” she trailed off and looked around at all the happy, victorious faces, “I wouldn’t mind, you know, travelling the world and all that. "Where should we start!?" ((Enoch is still open for RPing))
----- Enoch began his travels with any of his friends who would want to accompany him. He mapped out their expedition, eager to show them and revisit some of the locations from his past. Daryn however, remained by his side long after the initial journey , aiding in his search for survivors. The two had continued to grow closer and closer as they worked, collaborating with survivors to carve out society into this torn world once again. Enoch handled the more administrative side, helping to rally and organize the people while Daryn dove in hands-on, working in training and security. The world seemed to have returned to peace, and Enoch, with his newfound family of guildmembers, was ready to finally settle down after decades of lonely wandering. The priest did not expect to ever need to pick up his glaive again for battle, but as his efforts to rebuild came to fruition, a familiar voice flowed through his mind for the first time in several months. "Enoch." "Enoch, it's been a while hasn't it.""Archex," he murmured quietly, setting his quill down on the writing table. "It's you, is it not? What is it you need of me?" The god's voice flowed through his body in a similar fashion as during the battle with Sandor. "While peace may have returned for now, there are still many threats to the balance of this world. Good, evil, it only requires one excess weight on either side to tip the scale into ruin. A surplus of goodness will bring about complacency, ingratitude, and pride, while a surplus evil will bring about corruption, hatred, and avarice. You are fully aware of this, are you not?"
"Of course I am, my lord," he replied. "The world is in a delicate state, having just risen from the ashes. If left alone, it will surely begin to crumble. This is a time where man must work to keep the balance, and it will not be easy. I ask this of you, because I know you can surely accomplish it. You've done it already, after all."
Enoch became the messenger of Archex, working in conjunction with the other messenger, Kama's old teammate Hikaku to keep the balance of Ignis through the intercession of the god. Whether it was advising kings or threatening those that sought to bring chaos to the world, he accepted every mission presented to him wholeheartedly. And while it was sometimes very difficult to leave his family and friends behind for longer periods of time, he'd always return once his task was completed. His best friend whom he'd come to love dearly was by his side every step of the way, and during one of the quieter years, their child Genesis was born. Regardless, he continued his missions for the sake of his family and friends, and the world that they lived in. Daryn eventually began to accompany him on his travels once again, and their child, who too was recognized as having the ability to utilize Archex's time magic, trained to one day take their father's place. Thank you Norimo for the second pic!! (((Thank you post, aka CHEESE POST! Under the cut here!!! It includes everyone's characters!!))

After the last of her magic had been expelled, Clarity floated gently to the floor, cradled by the remains of golden light that still dusted the air. She mumbled something softly under her breath as her bright eyes closed and the shimmering specks dissipated. After laying still for a few moments, unaware of what took place around her, she coughed up one last drop of violet that left her lips and splashed onto the ground with a sizzling sound, evaporating into nothing. Celty lifted herself up slowly, her body aching from the magic that had flowed through her moments before. She got shakily to her feet, too absorbed in her thoughts to celebrate their victory with the others. She stumbled towards where Clarity had left her son, seeing a small mound of earth in the distance. When she got to it, she placed her palms against it and with the last of her strength dug through it until the whole structure crumbled. She heard a child’s cough and a weak “Mama?” from a small form covered in dirt. She reached out to it and began brushing the dirt away, revealing the face of her child beneath. She rubbed his cheeks between her hands and an excited giggle bubbled up from her throat as feelings of glee and relief flooded through her. She began kissing his face and feeling his hands in her own like she had when she’d touched him as a fearen in the previous battle. “You don’t feel anything?” She whispered, her voice shaking but a smile wide on her face. “None of the hatred? The rage? It’s gone, right?” Oxy looked at her, confused, and for the first time she noticed something…he appeared younger. The rapid, unnatural growth caused by his fearen form had been reversed. He appeared to be the age he should as a one-year-old shape shifter. “Oxy…?” The happiness in her voice dimmed as her brow furrowed. “Oxy, do you remember being a fearen?” The question seemed odd, and yet it was the first she thought to ask. “F-fearen.” Oxy struggled with the word and twisted his lips together in frustration. “No, Mama,” he shook his head rapidly. “What about Gaynor? And Manasa? And Altheron? Ooro?” Her voice was starting to shake with a hint of desperation. “What about Rylan, Oxy?”“Ry-lan,” Oxy shrugged and shook his head once more. “Who is that, Mama?” “You really don’t remember…” Tears formed in her eyes, but she tried to hold them back. She remembered all the horrible things her child had experienced. The rejection when he was discovered to be part fearen. Seeing his best friend killed brutally not once, but twice in front of his very eyes…”It’s for the best.” She whispered, trying to keep up her smile. “It’s for the best…” She wasn’t sure who she had to convince besides herself. It seemed wrong for him to lose those precious memories, but at the same time, he was so young. What could those darker images have done to him had he grown up with all that fear? One last time she muttered. “It’s for the best.”“It truly is.”
Celty snapped her head around to see a woman bathed in gold step near her, grinning with a gentle smile that still seemed to hold a bit of wickedness to it. “C-Clarissa?” She whispered. The woman laughed and twirled around, her dress seeming to shimmer and melt to her form with her movements. “A body at last!” She said, before halting suddenly. “While we were one, I finally remembered what I am, Celty. My kind were never meant to be a curse upon this world…we were meant to be a blessing.” Her smile wavered a bit as she recounted: “I am one of the daughters of Archex that were sent to fix a sickness that was caused by Sandor. It was unnatural and cruel. A whole village would have lost all of their children in a single night had it not been for Archex’s intervention…but something went wrong. Sandor interfered and tried to prevent us from making contracts with the children to save them. We managed to do so anyways, but we lost our memories in the process. We thought that we were those children, and when we discovered we weren’t, well…” She shuddered. “We are no longer the pure beings that were meant to save. We’ve become corrupted and distorted. My sisters are still out there. They still don’t know who they are and will continue to make contracts and cause suffering while trapped in a body they have no right to possess.” Her smile suddenly grew once more.
“But I’m going to save them! I’m going to save all of them! We’re all going to live!” She lifted into the air at this last sentence, as joyful as she could be. Celty couldn’t help but tentatively smile back, the witch’s happiness infectious. “We were never meant to have bodies of our own, but Archex has allowed me to change that in return for saving my sisters and fixing our mistakes. As for you and your boy…” she waved her arm gently and a light mist spread over them, “…there, my marks are gone. You did not deserve what I did to you while I wasn’t fully myself. I am….I am sorry.”Celty nodded slightly, “It’s alright. Just…go out there and find your people.” She looked down at Oxy. “Perhaps we should try and find what remains of ours as well…” Clarissa began to soar higher into the sky, preparing a spell to send her flying towards her nearest sister. “Farewell, then! Perhaps I’ll see you again someday!”Oxy reached towards her, “Pretty!” He cooed. Clarissa waved to him slightly before vanishing out of sight. Celty and Oxy’s Happy Ending Celty and Oxy managed to find almost a dozen shape shifters spread out across the countryside. Many had become fearen like she had and deemed themselves unworthy to continue living after committing crimes that went against everything the peacekeepers had stood for. But Celty convinced them to keep living and to learn to care for themselves as much as they cared for others. After getting them back on their feet, the small tribe journeyed with Manasa and her brother and joined their people, creating a new community that thrived and learned from each other. Oxy never remembered the events that transpired within the shadow slayers, but he was so young he most likely would’ve forgotten anyways. He rekindled his love for Manasa, however, and grew to think of her like an aunt. Celty lived to be 42 years old. Oxy, who became half shifter and half human since Tairaga was still his father, retained his healing ability and became a large asset to the tribes when he got older. He lived to be an elder and ruler of the shape shifters, dying at 60 (he had given up 10 years, the highest he could count to a the time). He married a vishkanyan and they had four children together, Ryner, Noray, Orca, and Claire, whom he gave the oldest of which a wooden hound he had carried with him over the years (from Ooro) and the youngest a colorful rock that glowed when heat was applied (from Rylan). He never realized where the inspiration behind their names must have come from, despite his mother’s stories… Clarissa’s Happy Ending Clarissa spent the good part of a decade finding her sisters and teaching them to create bodies of their own. Many of them chose to rejoin Archex and leave the mortal world after doing so, but Clarissa stayed. She visited Rezza every few months and regained some of her wicked banter that she had lost after first remembering everything. She was still an ass, but an ass that took responsibilities for her actions. She set out to fixing the mistakes she had made in the world, rebuilding civilizations, helping the families of ancestors her sisters had wronged, and ultimately making contracts to help those who would have otherwise died without them. She roams Ignis to this day, and visits Rezza’s resting place many times after the healer had passed away, having grown quite attached to him.. ((I am open to rping still with any of these peeps! I will do my best to keep their story on track to what I have laid out already, however)) ((I’d also like to get a bit mushy for a second here. The last time I did a role-play like this, it ended very poorly and I lost a friend over it. I was a bit tentative to come into this one and even more tentative to RP the way I used to, but you guys made it a really fun experience. Thanks for lessening that sour moment and making me enjoy rping again…I appreciate it more than I can express in words.))

Pinky watched blankly as the battle ended. Just like that, the whole world was saved. Saved and perhaps doomed at the same time. She only hoped she had made the right decision. Both the tree she had planted and the roots holding together Alroth's mace crumbled to ash under the strength of the flames, and before long there would be no trace that either had existed. Alroth was much the same - his armor and wooden remains now buried beneath the rubble of the temple. The warrior - much like Pinky's time with humanity - was no more. Seeing the others celebrate and congratulate each other, the pixie turned and fluttered away without a word. She silently dispelled the bind she had placed around Oxy and Celty, clearing up her final tie to the group before drifting out of range. After a few minutes of flying straight, Sparky sputtered by and joined her, and the two sailed away slowly on the wind. There was only one thing left for the smallest fighter, and all that remained was to find a location. That decision would have been an easy one, so Pinky decided to stop somewhere along the way. Since Alroth was destroyed, she had no possessions left. The only place for her to easily obtain pixie-sized supplies was... Her old home. An eerie feeling shivered through her as she set foot in the secluded forest again. The plants had already retaken the area and covered up all traces that anyone had lived there, yet the area was still very familiar to Pinky. She crept slowly across the forest floor to where her little house was, but the entrance was now overgrown with brush. The pixie focused on the resonance and prepared to sync with the bush and move it when... She detected something all too familiar. Pinky turned and sent out a small pulse in the direction of the energy, curious as to where it was coming from. Much to her surprise... there was a reply. "Where are you?" Pinky instinctually responded out loud, having grown all too used to verbal communication. The energy resonated in a recognizable way, and the wingless one hurried toward its direction. [ Where are you?] she asked again, this time through the resonance field. It was the first time she had communicated with a sentient being this way in two years. [ This way.] the other force beckoned, leading her own toward the former house of... [ Sapphire?] [ Pinky?!] Neither seemed to be able to believe their eyes, staring at each other after so long having thought the other dead. [ I-I've been alone here ever since... Everyone was... E-everyone d-] [ You're the only one left?] Pinky interrupted. [ Y-yes, w-well I thought I was b-but now you're...] she tried to say. [ H-how did you- where were y- Are those wings?? H-] [ I escaped. I didn't think anyone else made it. The rest doesn't matter. It's over - everything is back to normal.] Pinky explained nonchalantly. [ Grab whatever supplies you have left in there, we're leaving.] Sapphire took a few seconds to process everything she had just been told, her face become more glum at the last part. [ But Pinky... I-I...] [ I can't... fly.] [ Just get what you have. I'll carry you.] Pinky said with no change in demeanor. [ R-really?] [ Hurry up.] Pinky sighed impatiently. [ I need to plant this tree quickly before it dies.] [ Wh-wha?] [ I'll explain on the way. Wherever we plant it... that's where we'll stay.] Pinky looked around at the former village. [ Now hurry up.]
And so the two left, fluttering out across the forest for several miles until Pinky decided she had found the right spot amidst a clearing near to a calm river. She planted Alroth in the most fertile soil, and within days the plant had begun to grow to the size of a small tree. Within months the glimmer tree would be massive, and the surrounding area would blossom with all sorts of enchanted fauna. The place would become a forest oasis, sanctuary to all plants and animals, tended by one dysfunctional pixie...
and one hero.

Luair brushed off the last tears and shook her head. 'It is alright, you do not need to apologise.' She watched the sky brighten and she felt the darkness that had burdened Ignis for so long being washed away. It was a sight her people had dreamed off for so long, and it was an honour for her to see it. This was the closure that her kingdom needed. 'You are free to find your peace.' she whispered, to all who perished under Tairaga's actions. To her father and mother, to those she shared many thoughts and stories with, to all who could not make it to today. She hoped that on this day, they could live even in death. {Spoiler - Click to View} (Melty is able to RP some more!) Whilst Osseus and Mimisko trained under Kama, Luair seeked to improve herself in many ways too. She would often part information about her kingdom, yet never truly reveal that she was the heir or its end. Those who heard these tales often thought that they were untrue, and when that time arose, she would show them the illustrations and various heirlooms she travelled with. She also partook in archery events, eager to invite everyone to see her perform. The judges always expressed bewilderment when she made any shot, Tveiralmr's energy nearly blowing the targets into pieces. Eventually she returned to where her kingdom was, to create a memorial for her lost loved ones. Upon arriving there she met Arvid, the page boy who met her frequently on the castle grounds. Both were surprised to she the other alive. 'Luair did you-', he began. 'Did you join the Shadow Slayers?' 'I did.' 'So you and the rest of your lot finally sent Sandor packing back to hell.' His expression soured. 'And you brought peace to everyone.' 'I apologise that it did not come much sooner.' 'You've grown, Luair. Not physically, but in strength and bravery. If only I'd accompanied you and fought alongside you.' 'It is fine, Osseus was beside me from the start! I would not have gotten so far without him.' 'Who is this "Osseus you speak of?' 'He is.' She bowed her face. 'He is my life partner. Like my Father and Mother.' 'Oh?' Arvid was eager to meet whoever this fellow was. 'If it is possible, I request for you to travel back with me. I want to return to his side, you see.' 'That will not be a problem, Luair. Let us go to his side in haste.' Before the two left, Luair looked back once more at the remnants of her kingdom. With her and Arvid there, its memory will not be put out so quickly. She would tell stories to whoever wished to listen for as long as she could. She would tell stories about her time with her teammates she cared for dearly as well, and walking back thought to the time when she would see them again. EPILOGUE
{Spoiler - Click to View} It's been so long since I started SS. I joined on a whim thinking it would be a little exercise to do now and again. At that point I couldn't recall many character's names. It's a little hard to let go, and it's drained a good deal of energy but it's been really great. It was a chance to talk to people a lot more and have many interactions!
It's also really easy to make silly little drawings surrounding these loveable rascals! I want everyone to know that this was my first RP experience ever and it being such a good one has really made me realise how fun they can be. I was worried at times whether I had come in too late, but everyone was so welcoming it was easy to forget about it! In the end, Shadow Slayers will remain a fond memory for me and I hope that it is the same for you. I hope the next RP experience I have will be just as good as this one.
