((I am still in the game!)) Sandor was defeated, the world returned to it's former glory once more; sun shining through the soft, white clouds against the pastel blue sky. Once more would Manasa be able to gaze up at the night sky and feel the world's vastness. She took a deep breath of the fresh, clear air. As she did so a voice spoke to her in her mind, yet is sounded as if it was far off in the distance. "Perhaps my perception of beauty has been skewed." Manasa froze, not knowing how to react, if she should react. Final, she took this moment, not knowing if her chance could ever present itself ever again. With a calming breath she spoke what her heart had been telling her since the beginning. "Beauty presents itself in countless ways, you just need to keep your eyes open to accepting it." "To think a moral would consider herself wise enough to give her own god advice." The was a long silence, until a smile finally pulled at the corners of Manasa's mouth. She walked over to were her headscarf lay under the rubble, pulling it out only to see it caked in dirt and mud. She gave a heavy groan and rolled her eyes, letting it drop back before beginning to search for her other things. She gingerly excavated her feather and tucked it in her hair and then dug out her scimitar; which was now beaten to the point it had to be retired. "You had a good run..." She stated, holding the handle up to her forehead. The sound of heavy, rushed footsteps caused Manasa to lift her head, ears perked up. " Your days are numbered, Valdus!" An archer erupted onto the scene, bow drawn. Several feet behind him a tall woman stood. Quickly his voice faltered and her spun around to converse with his partner, which then turned into a hushed quarrel. He peaked back over at the Shadow Slayers and then back at his partner before turning his bow into a harp before Manasa's eyes, as if by some odd enchantment. Finally the masked man stepped forward, clearing his throat as he approached the dancer. He stiffly stood before her, back bent way too straight and hand offered to her ever so formally. "Manasa," he stated in a stuffy, yet familiar voice. Manasa's eyes grew wide, her mouth dropped when the realization set in. "Va...suki?" Manasa eventually left with her brother, working along side him and Freyja in order to rebuild what little of vishkanyan society remained after the fearen attacked. The fearen proved to be a deadly force against the vishkanyan race, wiping their numbers down to mere double digits, but under the guidance of the two siblings along with the help of Celty their numbers slowly began to flourish once more. The settlement became home to vishkanyans, shape shifters and ifreets alike, all whom Manasa adored... even if her sister in law could be a bit crass at times. Despite his lost memories, Manasa's love for Oxy not only persisted, but grew and she began to see him and his mother as members of her own family. She knew where she stood however, and left the business of mothering Oxy to Celty. Manasa saw to the ban of the practice of culling 'undesirables,' and poured her life's work into seeing seeing to the well being of her people and sharing her culture throughout the world. When she was not with her tribe she was out roaming the world, visiting old friends and making new ones. As Manasa aged and matured the settlement did as well, transforming from a small collection of tents to an eventual metropolis within the desert. In the center of the city grew a garden of marigolds and in the center, at the foot of a modest yet lovingly tended to shine Manasa buried what she had left of Rylan in hope that he many find peace. However, while economically they flourished vishkanyans found difficulty adopting the new, more accepting culture that Manasa hoped they would. While the practice of killing unworthy children was banned, many parents ended up abandoning orphans who did not meet their expectations. Manasa took in several of such children and saw to it that many more found homes. Her eldest was a girl named Lo. Manasa was delighted when Lo naturally took to dancing, expressing not only talent but also a love for the art. The girl also had a lot of talent for causing mischief wherever she went. To Lo Manasa entrusted her most prized possession, her peacock feather. Her second child was a boy named Astika. He was emotional, flipping from a fit of giggle to tears in the blink of an eye. He did, however, have a strong sense of justice that made his mother beam with pride whenever he would defend another child no matter the odds. Her final child she named Rylan. Every night as she rocked him to sleep, legs folded on a silken pillow with her retired scimitar hanging on the wall nearby she would look down at his small face and wonder; what sort of man he would grow up to be? She would smile, tucking a tiny lock of hair behind his barely grown in horns, knowing for certain that he would be happy. Manasa had long since retired from the battlefield; she had not fought since the day Sandor was defeated. She hoped that her children would never have to fight as well, that the Jaratkaru family would forever play the role of peace bringers. But if that were not the case... Manasa knew that just like she did, they would have friends to support them along the way.

Gaynor died amidst the fearen in the second battle she fought with the Shadow Slayers. Although she made herself known as a jack of all trades, she didn't know enough to make herself strong enough to get through the heat of battle. Her last moments were used in protecting the younger members of her guild. Her death was peaceful and full of hope. It didn't even matter if she didn't shine the spoils of victory, it only mattered that she helped the best way she could. She saw the spark in everyone's eyes as they fought, she knew that they could move on and save the world from the darkness that engulfed it. She wanted to see the guild grow and achieve greatness, but as with any other mother, it wasn't possible to see a child to the end. At least she got to reunite with her own, even if only for a precious second before the light faded in her eyes.

((I no longer want to role play. I might change my mind, but for now I'm taking a break from role playing.)) After Sandor was defeated the Shadow Slayer's legacy became known far and wide. There was not a single living creature on the planet that hadn't heard of them, and Kama had become even more well known than before. Kama spent his years training Osseus to fight quickly, teaching him to take advantage of his speed and dexterity, and he trained Mimisko to combine her fire magic with various types of weapons, allowing Mimisko to wield fire swords, fire arrows, and more. Eventually his own pupils surpassed him, making Kama confident that when the day he'd no longer be able to fight came that Osseus and Mimisko would carry on his will and protect Ignis in his place. After they managed to surpass him their training came to an end. Several years after Kama trained Osseus and Mimisko, his body started becoming weak. He had back problems and his muscles became fatigued over time, making it so that he could no longer fight. He still acted as wild and crazy as ever but rather than training to fight again some day like he normally would, Kama decided to live a peaceful and humble life. He spent his days writing about all of the adventures that he's had over the years, he occasionally would visit the members of the Shadow Slayers whenever he got the chance, and went to the pub near his house all the time. After several years of living in peace Kama passed away, but he wasn't sad or afraid of his death. He lived a full life, knowing that he accomplished great things and had seen almost all there is to see in the world of Ignis. He defeated many of the worlds strongest warriors, defeated the evil King Tairaga twice, took down many legendary fearens, and even helped to save the world from the god of prophecy himself. Kama died with a smile on his face proud of what he had done, and even more proud of the accomplishments of the Shadow Slayers. ---After Kama passed away a statue was built in his honor where Aredon Temple once was. What was once an ancient temple filled with terrible memories was replaced with a beautiful field filled with walkways, grass, and flowers, with the statue of Kama being in the center of it all. A middle aged blonde man named Galax who used to adventure with Kama many years ago visited the statue. He sat sown in front of it and began talking, believing that Kama's spirit would be able to hear his voice. Galax said "It's been a while since we last talked old pal. You've made a huge impact on this world. To have a statue built in your honor like this is quite a sight to behold. You're not really what people would normally expect from a hero though are you? You don't really seem like an ideal leader either. You're stupid, you're impulsive, you're an alcoholic, you've got anger issues, and you don't exactly look like a typical knight in shining armor, but... you've got a lot of wisdom and courage, and you have one hell of a passion for justice. It's a shame that the world treated you so poorly when you were young. You were believed to be a spawn of Sandor because you had fire magic, and your mother was believed to be a witch for giving birth to you so they burned her to death in front of your eyes. Your father blamed you for the death of your mother and became physically abusive while trying to crush your dream of becoming a hero. Your anger towards your father went out of control and you accidentally burned down your entire village. Even after running away from home you were treated like a monster and a criminal everywhere you went and your dream seemed impossible, but didn't give it up in the end Kama. You kept moving forward, doing everything you could to redeem yourself and make the world a better place. You traveled the world, defeated powerful foes, and took down King Tairaga, and now you've even lead the team that saved the world from the apocalypse. Now you've become a legend. There's not a single fighter who hasn't heard of you. Your dream finally came true Kama. You lived as a hero and you died a hero, and... quite frankly..."

"You became the greatest hero I had ever met."

((I'm gonna post a little thing to hopefully get the rp going a bit, I can take it down if needed)
A wide grin remained on Galystris’ face. By the gods, this was most likely the happiest she’d ever been. They’d saved the world. She wanted to jump up with glee, and hug everyone in the guild. But of course, she wasn’t completely blinded by the situation, so she decided against it. Despite that, she then proceeded to do something her pride wouldn’t have allowed her to do previously. She turned to a group of people nearby and extended her arm out in front of her. “Great job, all! Now, hands in~!"she chimed. She was intending to do that thing that people did when they were victorious, when they all put their hands in one spot and then raised them and cheered. Hopefully, people would be on board with this. If not, it would be rather embarrassing.

A wide smile spread across his face as she articulated her thoughts before he gathered to courage to speak his, the priest brimming with excitement as he grabbed her hand. "Absolutely!!" he shouted, starry-eyed as the possibility of a continued journey with her became a reality. "There's so much I want to show you! Waterfalls, castles, mountains, the ice canyon and aurora borealis!" He was gesticulating wildly, letting go of her hand and pantomiming some of the sights as he spoke of them. Just yesterday this sort of talk would have been nothing more than naive musings but now... the tears that had been already flowing free now streamed down his face. "Where should we start!?" Daryn was still filled with glee, and while she forgot what an aurora borealis was, she was overjoyed to hear of the possibility of going to see it. After all, since the world was saved, they'd have a chance! Daryn's own tears continued to flow down her face as she listened to him rattle on about places to see. When she realized he'd asked a question, her face changed to one of thought right before her thoughts were interrupted by the ice mage, finally saying a word. “Great job, all! Now, hands in~!"she chimed. She was intending to do that thing that people did when they were victorious, when they all put their hands in one spot and then raised them and cheered. Daryn laughed a breathy laugh- for the fight had indeed been overwhelming and tiring- and immediately put her right hand in what she knew would soon become a circle if enough around noticed. With her other arm she fist-pumped into the air and shouted, "WOOP!!"

"Right back at you, both of you." she said with a nod.

Celty picked up Oxy in her arms, one hand cupping his cheek as she stroked it gently. She smiled at him warmly before glancing tentatively over at a small group that was forming. Taking a deep breath, she approached Enoch, Daryn, and Galystris quickly, holding her son close to her. She tried to keep up her smile but stayed a few feet away, unsure if they would welcome her after everything that had happened. She remembered that her son no longer knew who these people were and gestured to them with her chin. "Oxy," she whispered, allowed him to grip her palms as he stared at the strangers with wide eyes. "This is Enoch, Daryn, and Galystris." Her smile was a bit sad now. "I'm sure they'd love to meet you."
Oxy cocked his head at them before burying his face into his mother's chest. Celty sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "It's alright, they aren't going to hurt you."

"It's alright, they aren't going to hurt you." Galystris gave Celty a puzzled look. Meet them? Had Oxy perhaps lost his memories?' Well, might as well play along. It was a shame, she had taken a liking to the child....he didn't deserve any of what happened. Well, at least he didn't have to remember any of that. "Hello there, Mr.Oxy." She said with a calm and nurturing voice. "Your mother had told me plenty about you." She extended her free hand to the child. "My name is Galystris Dawnfury."

"Right back at you, both of you." she said with a nod. The normally aloof and distant frost mage's smile was certainly a rarity, something he'd only seen back when Oxy introduced the two of them to each other. Speaking of the child, a familiar voice came from nearby, the priest looking over towards the mother and child in surprise. She remembered that her son no longer knew who these people were and gestured to them with her chin. "Oxy," she whispered, allowed him to grip her palms as he stared at the strangers with wide eyes. "This is Enoch, Daryn, and Galystris." Her smile was a bit sad now. "I'm sure they'd love to meet you." Oxy cocked his head at them before burying his face into his mother's chest. Celty sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "It's alright, they aren't going to hurt you." Enoch watched Celty, warily on instinct at first but his gaze softened as he realized something. She was holding Oxy. Now that the fearen had all vanished, had he too been cured? He looked so much... smaller than he had prior to the battle, and by the sound of Celty's words, it didn't seem as though the child recognized any of them. He held eye contact with Celty before nodding a little bit. This was a brand new world, and everyone deserved a fresh start. Surely... that's for the best.
He smiled warmly and switched the hand that he had resting on top of the other two guild members', waving to the toddler. "Hello, Oxy. My name is Enoch. It is a pleasure to meet you."

Celty coaxed him out a bit more and he carefully reached over and gripped Galystris's hand, although he didn't seem to know what to do with it past this point. "Go on," Celty said, "she won't bite." Oxy grinned at Galystris, something familiar about her making him warm up to her instantly. "Happy b-!" He stopped himself suddenly, unsure of where the outburst had come from, and dropped his hand from Galystris's in an instant. He looked over at the others and had that same familiar feeling in the back of his head, like he could trust these people, but he couldn't recall ever meeting them before this moment. He waved slightly to Enoch and giggled.

Zerah looked across the battlefield, the adrenaline that had been pumping through his veins now dying down with what was left of his magic. The blood his arms were composed of splattered to the floor, forming a blackened puddle. The imp heaved heavily, and looked over towards the group who seemed to be beginning to celebrate. A warm smile spread across his face. They really had won. It was all finally over. He heard Oxy being reintroduced to everyone. Had he forgotten his memory? Zerah started his way over, prepared to meet the child once more when he stopped.
"No..."He mumbled to himself. It's for the best if I don't get involved..
Zerah turned away and sat beneath one of the few remaining trees on the battlefield. He decided to rest for a bit, and once night fell, he'd say his goodbyes and be off.

(( cassiroll)) "Don't worry Oxy, there's no need to be afraid of us." She said kindly. "Consider us your friends." She chimed. Wait was he about to wish her a happy birthday? "Oh gods it is my birthday...." She muttered She looked back at oxy's enthusiastic face. It made her feel warm. She loved children too much for her own good.

He pointed towards them and she nodded, a few happy tears escaping from her eyes. The two walked into the circle and they both put their hands in. Oxy looked around expectantly from face to face, excited about whatever was happening.
