(Im on mobile today, Ill do my best to format this properly and fix it once I get home @@ I also didnt copy arloths post before losing signal so ill fix it when I get the chance)
Enoch laughed as Ooro saluted, starting to head back towards the church. Her situation was certainly curious, something he'd never seen before. But regardless, she was very.. refreshing and enjoyable to speak with. She was probably one of the most genuinely kind people he'd spoken to in the past couple years, and kind people were unfortunately scarce nowadays.
She left her village as well. I wonder what her reasoning was... It's rare for elves to leave their own. 50 years away from your village is quite a long while, especially when just remaining in one place. As curious as he was, he couldn't bring himself to ask such a prying question. Usually reasons for leaving are not very pleasant.
Enoch smiled and nodded. "I have no regrets leaving. I've seen all sorts of people, cultures, and how they live. Time moves very quickly for other races, so watching regimes rise and fall, wars start and end..." He sighed a bit. "The most interesting thing I saw was change. The outside world changes rapidly as we elves stay stagnant. Every moment is precious and fleeting. Those that are happy and..."
He paused, remembering some more recent legs of his journey and pursing his lips. "And those that are sad."
He walked up the steps to the church, about to head through the door with Ooro, beginning to ask "What about--" when a string of criticisms rang out in a... bizarrely high pitched and metallic voice.
As soon as the large man's judging words hit his ears, he paused, coolly turning his focus onto the armored figure. "The one that reeks of illusory magic," he thought to himself, walking around to Alroth's front and staring up at his face.
"Its funny you say that," he stated pointedly, trying to peer into the shadowy helmet. Still completely obscured like before...
"I can imagine how boring us plain mortals must seem to the most interesting and SPECIAL member of our group." Enoch squinted intensely into the helmet before backing up. "To me, theres nothing more fascinating than a man who chooses to hide his appearance and intentions." He laughed. "Its like a goddamn puzzle just waiting to be solved!"
His eyes glinted as that hollow smirk he was wearing settled into a hardened frown. "Its too bad we live in a world where we can't afford to gamble our safety on puzzles."

An extremely bright light emanated from the orb on Odessa's staff. Fallen, blinded by the light, closed his eyes and flinched away in response. Suddenly, he felt an intense heat approached him from his left flank. The abruptness of it caused him to instinctively jump backwards to avoid the fire spell even though he had his repellent down. Fallen was outside of his protection now. Odessa saw this as her chance. Her orb glowed white again, and this time, a different spell was used. "Thunder Epic!" She bellowed, shooting a thunder bolt from her staff. Hopefully it'd be close enough to scare Fallen. These spells were unpredictable.

"Its too bad we live in a world where we can't afford to gamble our safety on puzzles." " I find it interesting when a man has ears like a bird's wings." Alroth mockingly brushed aside the elf's response. "The only puzzle here is how your head doesn't fly away when the wind blows." he snarked, with clear disregard. A tiny, distant giggle seemed seemed to agree. "I'd sooner gamble on puzzles than someone like you, anyway." the big man said. Enoch was surely one of the more capable survivors here, but Alroth ignored that fact for the sake of making a good insult. It was hard to tell what his motive was. He didn't seem to hold an air of hostility, but for some reason the knight was all too willing to antagonize the other members.

The outside world changes rapidly as we elves stay stagnant. Every moment is precious and fleeting. Those that are happy and..." He paused, remembering some more recent legs of his journey and pursing his lips. "And those that are sad." Ooro listened very carefully, her with one ear tilted as though to hear him better. She found herself glad that she chose to follow behind, as now her face had been beaming with widened eyes and a cheerful smile. While she was not opposed to people noticing her happiness, she couldn't help but be overly content with his words. Kama has stated that prejudices were less common, so I'd imagine many races speak similarly now... yet to hear this from one who is somewhat of similar kin after so long- well, I began to think that was unimaginable.
"I have not experienced many cultures myself..." her head shook, "though, I remember a human town that was near my village; I think of it... rather dearly, you could say." The voice that spoke had hushed itself near the end, and behind Enoch, Ooro smiled silently to herself. Her ear flicked at the sound of another's voice; her pupils darted in the direction to see the armored man. However, she chose to pretend she did not hear them; it was a common practice for her to remain indifferent in a situation such as this. Unfortunately, while she continued to walk on, her fellow recruit did not... "Its funny you say that," he stated pointedly, trying to peer into the shadowy helmet. Still completely obscured like before..."I can imagine how boring us plain mortals must seem to the most interesting and SPECIAL member of our group." Enoch squinted intensely into the helmet before backing up. "To me, theres nothing more fascinating than a man who chooses to hide his appearance and intentions." He laughed. "Its like a goddamn puzzle just waiting to be solved!" His eyes glinted as that hollow smirk he was wearing settled into a hardened frown. "Its too bad we live in a world where we can't afford to gamble our safety on puzzles." ...Youch, I should have expected this.
Just because Ooro had not felt the need to retaliate did not mean others would do the same. She had already seen many of the trainees throw remarks at one another, and she couldn't necessarily stop them from feeling offended; it was the natural response to. In the end, all she could do was bite her tongue and hope the situation ended peacefully so that they could get along better perhaps sometime in the future. " I find it interesting when a man has ears like a bird's wings." Alroth mockingly brushed aside the elf's response. "The only puzzle here is how your head doesn't fly away when the wind blows." he snarked, with clear disregard. A tiny, distant giggle seemed seemed to agree. "I'd sooner gamble on puzzles than someone like you, anyway." the big man said. ...Oh boy, the urge to return to the forest began to circulate through her mind again. The problem with gatherings like this is that conflict is... almost inevitable. Though she knew she had to grow a tougher skin, as she'd been spoiled by the serenity of the woods. "...My ears are bigger than his, I suppose... I'd fly away sooner," a weak chuckle escaped her, hoping to lighten the atmosphere- or at least direct the insults to herself. She knew she would be less likely to reciprocate, and therefore their exchange could settle down before heating up too quickly. It was the only thing she could really think to do other than stay quiet.

Mimisko formed some sort of fire sheild. She tried sheild herself with it. Unforntinutly, it was not strong enough and then she got eletricuted. However, due to having fire abilities she has, she is free from dying of getting electricity. Instead, an explosion accured and Mimisko flew up into the air and landed in front of everyone who is in front of the chruch.
"I think...training session...is good to go."
At that moment, Mimisko became knocked out.
((Yeah, I came up with a way for myself to feel less bad so there is a reason why Mimisko is going to have to miss the fearens and could enjoy my time in California while that is happening on the 9th. Jay, I hope you don't mind. ^^;.))

In light of everything, the fighting, the babble- Daryn still stood on the sidelines with an uncomfortably tall man clinging to her arm. She really just wanted to talk to someone, but Altheron was close to the last person she'd like to do that with. She looked at Rylan, she looked at Enoch. People she somehow felt connections with. At least with Rylan she could argue and antagonize- that was certainly what she was best at. Enoch intrigued her- though she didn't really know why. It was probably her curiosity- In fact, why is there a clock in his hair? She feared she'd never know with this thing hanging on her arm. Due to his presence, most people had steered clear of their general area. Any attempt at conversation would surely lead to confusion on his part or shudders on hers. She really needed to get out of this situation. Soon.

Altheron stood with Daryn, puzzled. Did she not want to go outside and talk to the others?, he thought. Just when he was about to ask her what was on her mind, the air was full of taunting words. Of course, being Altheron, he couldn't really tell what words were "nice" and what words weren't, but that didn't matter; the members were talking to each other. This would be the perfect opportunity to understand how those like him work in a group. His smile slowly lowered into a frown. But what about Daryn? She'd be all alone without him! "But it is for the best!" he said out loud, startling his possible future partner-FOR-LIFE a bit. He let go of her arm and walked out of the door, still frowning. He tried to walk down the stairs when he suddenly got distracted yet again by new people- well, the ones he didn't notice before- in front of the church, one in particular. A man made of metal! Forgetting his goal to learn exactly what the "social skills" Ooro talked about earlier was, Altheron ran to the metal man, eager to understand that mystery instead, which of course would be fine... ... if this was literally anyone else.

Jay, I hope you don't mind. ^^;.)) ((I could have private messaged you about this, but I figured that I would post this publicly in case anyone else was planning on doing the same thing. You seem to be under the misconception that the fight against the fearens requires you to be here on October 9th, but it doesn't. October 9th is simply when the fight will start, but the fight will probably drag on for about 2 weeks so to participate in the fight you'd probably only have to post some time before October 23rd. I only announced when the fight will start for those who wanted to finish what they started in the introduction scene before it was too late. It wasn't to encourage people to post on the 9th. I don't really mind this at all. What you did in your post can still work because it can serve as an excuse for Mimisko to join the fight a bit late, but if you want to keep role playing you can make her wake back up and it wouldn't be a problem either.))
Kama saw that Mimisko fell unconscious. He checked and confirmed that the injuries weren't too serious and she just needed some rest. He placed her somewhere to rest inside of the church and left a note next to her describing what their plan was for the fight against the fearens and where they would be in case she woke back up by the time the fight began. Kama then returned to the front of the church where he was before. ((This post is really crappy but I'm busy today so I'm not gonna bother to make this a better post lol.))

"...What are you doing?" Alroth asked the way that a person would ask a child that was getting into something. He had very little physical reaction to the weird white wizard, and his tone of voice was more akin to casual confusion than the shock or distaste that one would expect.

Altheron held the metal man even tighter. His smile dropped as he parted his lips to speak, bringing his face closer to the man's "head" until he was an inch away from it.
"Are you made of metal?", he whispered into the metal man's dark face. He seemed to forget that others may have been watching him at the moment.

"...No." Alroth said somewhat questioningly. He'd never been asked such a question by an adult. This long-haired guy was turning out to be quite strange, which was highly inconvenient for the knight, who was still trying to focus on his other conversation.
The firefly circled the air overhead, having abandoned its place on Alroth's shoulder after Altheron climbed aboard.

Enoch had frankly disregarded every word that came out of the mans mouth once they signalled that they would clearly not be the answer to his question. The main irritant here was the possible threat; he unfortunately knew all too well about illusory mages that sought to take advantage of others with visual trickery. Instead he fixated on a second, disembodied laugh, opening his mouth to question it when,
He looked over at Ooro in surprise as she deflected the childish insult that had mostly zipped past his radar, his face softening as he stared over at her. "Damnit I didnt mean for that to happen. I'll just address it in private.," Enoch thought, trying to calm himself sighing and turning to Ooro.
"There are some more unsavory illusory mages in the world that use their abilities to steal from and hurt others, so I just..." He ran his hand through his hair, his expression becoming apologetic. "Sorry about that, I lost my temper." Taking a deep breath, he tried to regain his composure. Why am I being so aggressive all of a sudden? Must be worked up from the fight still...
One thing was for sure, he needed to cool his head for a moment before going to meet others inside. Walking over to the side of the stairs, he leaned against the railing and stared at the ground, not noticing the swordfighter nearby.

"But... but then... what are you... if not.. metal....." His voice started to trail off as the purple light from underneath his hair started to flicker again.

"Sorry about that, I lost my temper." "I have no idea what you're talking about." Alroth lied. "But... but then... what are you... if not.. metal....." His voice started to trail off as the purple light from underneath his hair started to flicker again. "The same thing as anyone else." Another lie.
