Ooro began to tense up, mentally preparing herself for the possible onslaught of insults, but much to her surprise- Enoch had spoken up. "There are some more unsavory illusory mages in the world that use their abilities to steal from and hurt others. Be careful." Her pupils focused on him, widening in surprise. He seemed... collected again, self-aware. It would occur that now, he simply meant to state something that was matter-of-fact that concerned him, and it wasn't unreasonable to do so. He ran his hand through his hair, looking over at Ooro apologetically. "Sorry about that, I lost my temper." Ooro's eyebrows had risen, her lips parted. He's apologizing? She didn't think of it wrong to retaliate when someone had been insulted, it was a rather natural reaction. However, to admit that one may have responded too sharply... how admirable. "...I, uh... thank you," her head bowed. I hope he doesn't think I'm horribly upset or anything. As he strolled towards the railing, her eyes watched him, she pondered on whether or not to follow when... " Are you made of metal?", Her ears twitched at the sound of the familiar voice, when she turned to face the direction it came from; a look of shock and puzzlement came over her face. The voice was no other than the shaman from before, and he hung from the armor-clad knight like some kind of animal. "...Pfft," a stifled giggle escaped her lips, and soon enough her eyelids had shut and her mouth opened wide- unable to hold it in any longer. It was relieving, and she felt the situation had gotten more light-hearted. "Oh Altheron!" her voice struggled to speak a coherent sentence from laughing too much, "I... I owe ya one." Her nail slid across one eyelid, as though to wipe it. At least I'm not the only strange one!

Celty, frustrated with the whole situation and not up for more confrontation, slugged Oxy back up onto her back and started to head back for the church. She was too mad to pay attention to where her feet were taking her and slammed right into the back of Enoch.
"Ooph," She rubbed her nose that has taken quite a hit with how fast she had been walking and glared at Enoch, "Watch where you're..." her voice faltered as she noticed the pointy ears and staff, realizing this could very easily be someone who dealt with magic and might be able to discern Oxy's deceptive appearance. "I mean...I'm sorry. I should have been paying attention."

LEMME POP IN FOR NOW (I'll have to really participate later then) Name: Osseus Age: 15 (30 in real years. His aging process is much faster than most of his species) Personality: Osseus is a complete self absorbed jerk. He expects everyone to bow to his will, and will cheat anyone and everyone to get to where he needs to be. Trying to get on his good side means sharing your stuff with him, but it won't surprising if he back stabs you. (Major trust issues) Fighting Abilities: Osseus is generally a close range stealth attacker. He mainly uses shanks, knives, daggers, and his own legs. Magic is his main weakness despite the fact that he's a dark elf. Past (optional): He was born into a poor dark elf clan to a human and another dark elf. Unlike the majority of his species, he had absolutely zero affinity for magic, as well as having only twice the life expectancy of a human. So with that, he had to hide his dark elf identity with humans, and his lack of magic prowess to dark elves. So to make up, he trained in close range stealth combat. Physical appearance:

"What? But I saw...." Altheron mumbled as he stared at the metal man in disbelief. Still unable to see anything through the armored stranger's mask, Altheron slowly attempted to place his hand in the man's face to see what was behind it until he heard a familiar voice.
"Ooro!" Altheron exclaimed, his hand around a centimeter away from the metal man's face. "Why are you laughing? Is this not the social skills?"

Enoch stumbled forward as someone ran into him from behind. "Ooph," She rubbed her nose that has taken quite a hit with how fast she had been walking and glared at Enoch, "Watch where you're..." Immediately he spun on his heel, staring at the person in surprise, sighing a bit once he processed that it wasn't a certain armored 6 foot man. He shook his head, the irritation vanishing from his expression as he processed who it was. It's that woman that arrived after Kama wiped out those fearen. She looked... frazzled to say the least. Earlier he remembered them appearing rather skittish but she looked she more flustered than she did earlier. His scan of her person reminded him of a little detail he'd forgotten about. She's with a young child. He gawked momentarily, completely taken aback by the presence of a kid in a place like this. I hope my shock isn't visible. Enoch guessed he must have been around 3 or 4, and he looked just about as flustered and stressed as she did. Poor kid. It had been months since he'd seen a kid so small, and to see a parent and child still together in this post apocalyptic landscape was nothing short of a miracle. He felt some memories starting to bubble to the surface, shaking them off and finally speaking. "Don't worry about it. Are you... alright?"

"I-I'm fine," Celty managed to say.
Oxy stared at Enoch with wide eyes and a puckered lip from his mother's back. "Don't yell at me."
"Shhhh," Celty soothed him. "He's not going to yell at you," she glanced back, "I hope..."

Enoch curiously observed the quavering little child, shaking his head and sighing. Great, wonder which one of these brutes did it, he thought to himself, sighing and glancing at a few of the possible culprits before returning his focus to the pair.
"Don't worry, whenever someone like me yells, there's generally a good reason," he replied, trying to smile a bit at Oxy. "Like yelling at whoever decided to scare a little kid like you."
He looked back at Celty and nodded. "My name is Enoch. I don't believe I know your names yet?"

Celty bit her lip, wondering silently how this exchange would go. "My name is Celty, and this is Oxy."
Oxy pulled himself up a bit, seeming to regain some of his previous confidence once Enoch had remained friendly. He smiled sheepishly. "Happy...birthday?"
Celty stared at him in disbelief before chuckling. The small sound turned into full blown laughter and she doubled over, almost throwing Oxy off her back.
"I-I'm sorry," She managed after a moment. She pulled Oxy's head close to her own and gave him a quick kiss on the forehead. She wiped a tear from her eye as she tried to subdue a few more giggles, "He always gets to me in the strangest ways."

"Ooro!" Altheron exclaimed, his hand around a centimeter away from the metal man's face. "Why are you laughing? Is this not the social skills?" Ooro scratched at the back of her head, "Well, I suppose that's a type. Everyone's got their own set," she smiled. "Your's is certainly an interesting scramble, but it's not bad...in fact, I like them." "You carry your own charm, as does everyone else," she lets out another giggle, "Maybe the mister in the armor will warm up to it too... will you tell me your name?" her hand motions to the metallic man. "By the looks of it, I would think Altheron would like to know too, or maybe just another confirmation that you're not composed of metal." She couldn't help but grin widely. Altheron is strange, but... I don't think he's of bad character. It's rather uplifting to see him again. Ooro snuck a glance to where she saw Enoch head to; he looked preoccupied. I have more things I want to ask, though I shouldn't keep bothering him. Maybe he'll be willing to talk again later. Her head turned back to the odd pair, awaiting a response from the man Altheron had clung to.

(( Here goes... a comprehensive summary of events thus far: Kama spread word of the Shadow Slayers guild recruitment taking place at an old abandoned church. Mimisko, Fallen, Daryn, Rylan, Odessa, Nicolas, Enoch, Gaynor, and Gremlon arrived at the church. Gremlon stood outside the door while the others introduced themselves. After some small talk, Kama arranged four fights between those who had shown up. The four fights would be Daryn vs. Rylan, Odessa vs. Fallen, Nicolas vs. Mimisko, and Gaynor vs. Enoch. Rylan suggested that they all take their fights outside where there would be more room, and less property to damage. Celty and Oxy arrived just as the others exited the church. Alroth arrived in the village square nearby the church, where he encountered and slew a group of weak fearen. The others noticed Alroth's battle as soon as they stepped outside. Kama stepped in and finished off the remaining fearen, inviting both Alroth and Celty to join the others and watch the fights. Altheron showed up shortly thereafter. Daryn defeated Rylan, taking moderate damage from his magic. Rylan was rendered briefly unconscious with two moderate sword wounds. He recovered, and the two walked back to the church steps - Daryn mocking Rylan the whole way. Gaynor and Enoch fought for a few turns, trying to trick each other with their magic powers. The fight ended with no one taking damage, and no properly decided winner. Mimisko fought Nicolas with her fire magic, but was defeated by his enchanted hammer and knocked unconscious. Odess and Fallen exchanged a few attacks, with Odessa seeming to gain the upper hand. The fight has not yet resolved. Meanwhile, Ooro had appeared out of the forest and helped patch up Rylan's injuries. Rylan then went back inside and met Oxy and Celty. Ooro spoke with Altheron, who eventually left her to talk to Daryn. Galystris arrived and met with Kama, who welcomingly vomited on her shoes. Alroth entered the church and smashed the altar. Ooro cleaned Galystris' shoes and introduced herself. Gaynor and Enoch shared some banter. Alroth walked back out to the front of the church and denigrated pretty much everyone. Enoch was displeased, and argued back. Altheron jumped on Alroth's back and started asking him questions. Ooro attempted to defuse the situation, leading Enoch to back down. Celty, carrying Oxy, bumped into Enoch and the two introduced themselves. Currently; Altheron is on Alroth's back, and the two are in a conversation with Ooro in front of the church. Mimisko is unconscious in front of the church, with Nicolas nearby. Rylan is inside the church preparing medicine. Celty and Oxy are just outside of the church speaking to Enoch. Odessa and Fallen are still fighting out front. Kama is on the steps unattended. Daryn is outside of church unattended. Galystris is near Kama unattended. Gaynor is in the back of the church unattended. Gremlon is near the church doors unattended. Character list / bio links: Kama - Funnybunnyjay - Aged legendary hero; now a mad drunk who also wants to save the world. Founded the guild. Mimisko - Gisselle - Young fire mage. Consciousness not included. Fallen - Zenguardian - Archer with a mineral collection. Also his gems are magical. Daryn - Schribbit - Young, loud sword wielder without much experience. Odessa - Nemi - Prodigal mage with a big ego. Enoch - Arenia - Wandering priest #2 with a glaive and limited time magic. Also provides great moral support and wears pants on his whole body. Nicolas rushed were Mimisko landed "Mimisko!" He was really worried. Luckily, her injuries werent to deep. He watched Karma carrying MImisko inside the church " I will apologise to her when she wakes up" he thought He still felt really bad, but he couldnt do anything about it now. Only wait for her to wake up " Now, there are a lot of new people here" he thought as he looked at the people near the church " And i dont know their names yet... i should intoduce myshelf to them"

Weakened by a fight with rival bandits to steal their supplies, Osseus limped to any nearby shelter he could get to heal up and sort out all the goods he received for his "hard work", namely some food and water.
A small church poked itself in the corner of his eye, teeming with a mixture of capable fighters and complete simpletons. The ones who could fight would probably be a major threat, so robbing them wouldn't be a good idea, and the simpletons and the capable fighters probably had a pact going. The only plan of action that could be taken at this rate was to enter the church to rest up, hoping no one can see him.
With this, he snuck around the flora surrounding the establishment, locating any weakness in the infrastructure he could manage to worm his way through. There was a back door left open just a crack, which was absolutely perfect for his purposes. He quietly slid into the church and found a corner to count his goods, rationing whatever he got. But there was one problem. A demon looking creature and a hardened fighter were in the same building. The only thing he could do was make sure not to make a single peep.

Enoch watched the two of them, confused. "Happy... birthday?" he began to inquire. But as the two broke into full on laughter, he couldnt help but crack a smile at the heartwarming exchange.
He shook his head and chuckled. "He seems like a good kid." Surprisingly well-adjusted too. Enoch was impressed. "How have you two been holding up?" He smiled and waved to Oxy before looking down at Celty curiously. He couldnt imagine how difficult raising a child in this kind of world must be, especially alone.

((Unfortunately there's going to be a slight delay on the fearen fight tomorrow. I've gotten way behind on work so that fight will probably begin late in the day somewhere from 5:00pm to 9:00pm or maybe even later in the day. Preparations for the fight aren't ready so I might even need to delay it until Saturday but we'll see. Just don't expect it to start on Friday morning when you wake up.))

Daryn was alone again, but this time it was a good thing. At least in the case of Altheron no longer clinging to her. Looking around, she could see many exchanges going on, and some solitary figures doing their own thing. If only she had something to occupy her attention. To her left, she saw a sizable stick on the ground.
That will do.
She picked up the stick with less-than-admirable intent. She looked around. No Rylan. Darn. Outside of Rylan, she knew nearly nothing about anyone else. She had been ignored by the armored figure when they were smashing things in the church, Altheron creeped her out, and- Ooro. Well, Ooro also creeped her out. The other armed woman- What was her name? Gayna? could not be seen from her position either. Everyone she knew, or sort of knew, was either busy or out of reach. She looked toward Enoch. She still wanted to talk with him, but he was wrapped up in something else with a woman and child. The child had surprised her for a moment, but otherwise she didn't care to think on it too much. Either way, she surely could not carry out her plan if there was a child in the way.
I just really want to throw this stick at someone...
