No combat mage? Long range? Odessa was right here. "Hey, if you want a combat mage or long range attacker, you've come to the right...battle!" She launched an attack at some of the incoming fearens. She was worth it, she could show them. "We need strategy, and we've got what we need. Put it into action!" Her staff floated parallel to her body as she closed her eyes to concentrate. This was one of her most draining spells, but it was worth the saving of lives.
It's like an army of fearen coming in...some from the left...right...and...and...
In a panting sweat, she got out of focus. They wouldn't stop just for the group. "We need heavy-armored, or just heavy people in general to attack the bulks! A numbing spell or something for the stings, and same for the hounds! Long rangers can handle the wings! There's definitely more coming!"

Altheron was standing nearby the entire time, struggling to evaluate the position he was in. This was his first time encountering the fearen he had heard so much about from his spirit guides, but they neglected to inform him about how they work, and more importantly, how to beat them. "Ooro!" Unsure of how to act in such a tense situation, Altheron threw his body at the beast, holding onto its stinger in an attempt to aim whatever danger held inside away from his friend. His hat fell off in the struggle. Ooro's eyes widened in shock, "Altheron!" What is he doing!?
The feeling in her gut twisted, and the urge for her to do something only increased. Her hand swung impulsively as though it was out of her control, and it somehow... impaled the beast. She could feel... her hand inside its stomach. What? This hasn't happened before during the illness. Usually she felt bouts of weakness, but now this time it was followed by a vigorous strength. The thought shook her being. It was different from before... and there was a chance it was getting worse. My hand... it doesn't feel like my hand! Ooro retreated her arm from the best immediately as it cried out in terror. The Fearen was incapacitated, and it cried out as the hole in its abdomen spilled out. This... isn't normal!
In a panicked rush, she swiftly dashed to Altheron's side and knelt down. She signaled for him to climb on her back, "You suggested this earlier? Hurry now! My hand is burning!" She tore some fabric from her cloak, quickly wrapping it around her hand. Sweat dripped down from her brow. Likely, some of the acid had got on it that caused the burning. It was only in there for a moment, so if I wipe it; it may hopefully hold out to the end of the battle... -but for now, I'm afraid to even look at it.

Rylan, a little annoyed by her snarky attitude, took out the vile of casting paste he had made earlier and rubbed the pale green paste over her wounded area.
"Listen, stay back for a bit and let that dry. Hide if you have to. It won't be of any use if it doesn't have time to mold to your body."
Rylan stood up and looked at the stinger and flying fearen left to deal with. He made a large orb in one hand and fired it at the flying fearen to get it's attention, while hurling the orb he had used as a guantlet at the stinger fearen, electrocuting it on impact. It was clearly in pain, but not dead. At least he got their attention. He began sprinting towards the others, fearen not far behind him.
"HEY FALLEN!!! Mind taking care of that flying fearen on my tail!? I'd really appreciate it"
He shouted at the top of his lungs, trying to get Fallen's attention. He stopped next to Osseus as the stinger fearen was charging towards them.
"Wanna help? Help me with this!!"

Gremlon stumbled upon the battlefield where tons of bodies lie, and tons of fearen nonetheless. A couple of the Shadow Slayers were already fighting the fearen. "Crap, I didn't side with anyone yet." Gremlon thought to himself looking around. Before finding anyone to side with, a winged fearen shot a wind blast at Gremlon. "Agh, alright then... let's see what you have to say about this!" Gremlon chucked his dagger at the winged fearen. The dagger was blown far away in the distance. "Okay... I guess I didn't need that." Gremlon commented. A second winged fearen appeared and proceeded to shoot an ice blast at Gremlon. Quickly, Gremlon defended himself with his skeleton hand. "Ouch- Wait... that doesn't hurt. Well its convenient that there are skulls here." Gremlon then used his necromantic powers to lift two skulls and tossed them at the winged fearen, but the fearen covered themselved in ice to defend themselves. "Huh... I'm gonna need some help here." Gremlon looked around again and found Urzul. "Hey you, big goblin ((even though Urzul is an orc))! Throw me at those fearen over there!"

"Ooro, what happened?" Altheron asked as he let go of the fearen's stinger, grabbed his hat, and hopped onto Ooro's back. He looked toward the others.

Daryn, not waiting for Enoch to respond (his tired expression said it all), yelled toward the one barking attacks.
"Dude, I've taken down ten bulk, I think I know what I need to be doing!" She boasted, readying her sword for another bulk- this time completely without the help of Enoch's time magic. He looked too worn out for that. Without time on her side, she decided she needed a new plan of action to take a bulk down. "Gaynor, can you assist me with this one?" she called out. It'd be safer that way.

Unfortunately, Enoch was unable to enchant Fallen's arrow, which failed to reach its target. He saw a tall man white in a white hat grab onto the fearen threatening his ally. Suddenly, a golden aura enveloped the Shadow Slayers. He could feel strength coursing through him. As he saw his ally punch a hole in the beasts' torso, he took that as his chance to ready his next attack.
Falling onto one knee, Fallen docked an arrow and aimed it at the fearen's head. He took another breath...
"Transmute:" He began, "Pierce!" A transmutation circle appeared in the air and glided over Fallen's arrow, transforming it into an ultra thin spear of sorts topped with a sharp, barbed crystalline point. With this form, it would be able to fly through the air extremely quickly, though it wouldn't do much damage by itself. Letting go, the arrow burst through the air at a high velocity and, sure enough, hit the fearen right between the eyes.
"Command: Rend!" The crystal on the arrow flashed red briefly and began rapidly spinning and tearing itself out, scrambling the fearen's insides before fading away. This attack does more damage depending on the amount of arrows are lodged into its target, but by good luck Fallen was able to defeat the hound with just one.
He then looked around to thank whoever it was that enchanted him, and was shocked at what he saw. The golden woman... a... a Vishkanyan?! She's been injured!" Just as he was about to rush over to the Vishkanyan (he's only ever met one), Rylan darted over to defeat the fearen in his place.
Using the same technique as before, Fallen defeated the winged fearen that was chasing after Rylan. Sighing in relief, he ran over to Odessa. "H-hey! Odessa, you got a sec? I have a plan! How good are you at earth magic?"

Amidst the commotion of battle Urzul heard Gremlon's shout. "Throw...at fearen?" His command seemed rather confusing, however who was she to deny his request. This strange man wanted to head face first into them, there wasn't much she could do. Striding toward him with as much swiftness as she could muster, Urzul scooped Gremlon up and skidded to a halt. As she slid, she started to turn 360 degrees in order to get a good throw and launched him toward the fearen

Celty breathed in deeply, hand to her heart in shock at what had just occurred. She looked at Enoch and her eyes expressed her gratitude.
Another fearen came up at her from behind, one of the winged ones, and she screamed suddenly as it lifted her up off the ground and started to carry her into the air. She knew what it's plan was, to drop here from a high enough height to kill her. She tried slashing at it with her claws as it continued to lift her higher.

"My hand wont hurt no matter what I do, huh?" He then grabbed out a match to light his hand on fire. "Lets see how you deal with this!" Gremlon shouted as he then punched the winged fearen with his flaming fist. He then controlled the winged fearen with his necromancy, so he could land on it's head. Gremlon proceeded to get his bag of spikes to dump a few on his skeleton hand. "Catch these fire spikes!" he said as he threw them at the other winged fearen. After defeating two winged fearen he descended to the ground. Gremlon turned around and said, "We make a pretty good team big goblin!"

"Gaynor, can you assist me with this one?" she called out. It'd be safer that way. Enoch brought his hand to his head, which was still spinning from the magic drain. "It's been worse," he thought to himself, frowning and shoving himself to his feet, steadying himself. With all his determination, he regained his focus and returned to his casting stance. Just take it easy.He quickly unleashed a Slow spell on the approaching bulk fearen, not feeling physically sound enough to resume casting Haste on both Daryn and Gaynor. "I'll start you off with this!" he shouted at the two of them. There's no end in sight... How long can we keep this up? We all need to pull together or we'll get overwhelmed very soon-- Celty's scream shattered his concentration as she was swept away by the winged fearen. "S-Shit!" he shouted, widening his eyes in shock as she was carried into the sky. "CELTY!"
No no no, what do I do?? A figure flying through the air caught his eye, which he followed with his eye down to the large orc woman and the small goblin, two people he'd seen from a distance but never spoken to. "Hey!" he shouted in their direction, pointing at the winged fearen carrying Celty. "Can you hit that!?"

He then pointed at the winged fearen holding Celty, "throw me towards that flying fearen!" Gremlon prepared himself by grabbing a skull and lighting it on fire.

Once the small man she threw landed before her she heard shouting, passing it off as the heat of battle. Her head whipped down to Gremlon as he addressed her again. Nodding in response, she gave a small grunt before picking him up once more. Jogging toward the direction he pointed a few steps, and yet again spun around hurling Gremlon at the fearen.

"Ooro, what happened?" Altheron asked as he let go of the fearen's stinger, grabbed his hat, and hopped onto Ooro's back. He looked toward the others. Ooro dashed passed by the other combatants, scanning the downtrodden houses for a temporary hiding spot. Her pupils caught notice of Enoch, whose hands were more than full. He looked... exhausted. She glanced at Altheron on her back, "We're taking a detour- hold on tight! Also," her hand gestured at the pouch behind her belt, "try not to crush that, alright?" Keeping her eyes on Enoch, she attempted to cut through the beasts, dodging swings and even rocks at all angles. Alas, she could not get a clear path through to him. "Enoch!" she shouted, her hand shuffling through her pouch, before pulling out a vial "-catch! Waste no time and eat it!" she attempted to throw the bottle across to him. Its contents were filled with crushed leaves of a special herb- they unfortunately did not possess the power to restore any magical strength. However, if consumed, at least he could stay awake for the battle without passing out or vomiting. Back to the task at hand, Ooro sped past the group and retreated into a small, abandoned home. She knelt over to let Altheron off her back, "Sorry if you got dizzy." Her eyes strayed to her wrapped hand, before gazing back to the outside battle. Right now it is gone, I can only wait for the next time it reoccurs. I need to keep an eye out for the others, this is no time to concern myself with what happened.

Alroth kept at it, sweeping back and forth like a windshield wiper in the rain. The longer this went on, the more fearen began to pile up. With the rate it was taking to actually kill the beasts, this was quickly becoming a futile effort. Worse yet, the harder it was for the creatures to get to Alroth, the more they began to use alternate attacks. Rather than charging and trying to bite, many began firing projectiles, or throwing rocks. Most of these attacks merely bounced off of Alroth's armor, but the larger ones had to be completely avoided, which only made it harder to defend the spot.
"Hey, elf! Running out of room here!" the pixie's voice echoed out, as she kept up the fight. Taking the first available half-second, Alroth scrambled onto the huge rock that had almost crushed them just moments ago. This was the perfect position and opportunity to unchain his weapon again. turning it back into a flail, he launched a series of lethal strikes in quick, fluid succession. This vantage was valuable, but it only made him an easier target for the airborne fearen.
The firefly flew again, and the pixie girl struggled to survey their surroundings with it while still focusing on fighting. The ruins around them were mostly piles of rubble that would be of little use, but a few buildings still stood here and there. The nearest of which appeared to be some kind of inn. It was a moderately sized building with a moderate amount of mutilated corpses hanging from it. Perfect.
"Over there!" Alroth called, pointing out the building. Following his last statement, it should have been readily apparent what this was suggesting.
