Gods damn it all! I don't have enough time for this type of situation!
Rylan was beginning to panic. He had to start a prayer and he had to do it fast. The fearen were barreling towards him, and the others had alreaady begun their fight. Rylan begun saying a prayer for as long as he could as the fearen began closing in.
Come on....just a little longer....
Once the fearen were within 10 feet of him, he finished his prayer and summoned to glowing orbs. He quickly scanned the area while stepping backward.
Hound and Sting Fearen. Alright...this shouldn't be too bad...
Rylan immediately launched one of the orbs towards one of the hound fearen. As the beast saw this ball of light hurdling towards it, it created a portal and jumped through it before the attack could land. Rylan was shocked and began looking around for where the fearen might pop up again. He heard a screech from behind him, and turned around just in time to see the fearen leaping towards him, mouth agape and claws extended. As the fearen was nearly on top of him, Rylan launched his remaining orb into the beast's mouth, shocking it from the inside. The howl of agony the creature let out was nearly deafening. Rylan turned back around to face the others.

"My apologies, I don't believe we ever got the chance to introduce ourselves. I'm Celty, the shapeshifter. I managed to infiltrate the hounds as one of their own and cause confusion, but I'm not sure how much longer that will distract them. If you have any ideas, I'm all ears." "Save it!" Alroth said, listening to just about none of what she said. Well, it was kind of hard to do so in between swings. Sting and Bulk fearen were advancing all over the place, and Alroth was doing what he could to keep them back. The hounds were a bit too fast, but fortunately none had target him specifically yet. Enoch looked over in surprise before focusing on Daryn as he responded. "We need to evenly space out our forces! Everyone is scattered, Daryn and I have no combat mage or long ranged attacker. The formation is staggered and fearen are already swarming through. We need to start pulling back in!" Well at least someone understood that. It was good to know that someone else was on the same page. "I hear ya!" the knight agreed, backing slowly toward their direction. If nothing else he could join their formation and avoid being surrounded. Alroth seemed to be swinging constantly, always deflecting another incoming fearen. In many cases they were the same ones he had already knocked back, since his attacks more often weren't lethal, it would take a few blows to keep them down. He sure as hell could keep them away, though. In the distance, a bulk fearen tore a massive rock out of the ground and threw it toward them. Alroth only noticed when the shadow passed through his field of vision, and he looked up in time to see it falling toward them. Enoch and Celty were within the impact zone as well, and potentially Daryn if she was near Enoch at the time. Alroth noticed it too late to prepare any kind of deflection. "Oh shit, look out!!" he warned.

Once again, the world slowed. Again Daryn followed Enoch's instructions, destroying as many bulk fearen as she could, with the occasional chopping of stingers and stabbing of hounds. As she did this she made sure to stay closer to the group. She didn't want to get stuck too far away when the world caught up with her again. With 3 more bulk down, 2 stingers chopped and 1 hound's face sliced, she came back to reality, though this time in front of a normally paced bulk. She went for her usual approach, but was nearly hit back when its large arms came toward her.

Fallen watched as his allies started going into battle, leaving him defenseless. He was about to attempt to partner up with someone when he noticed an odd creature; a member of the Shadow Slayers whom he had yet to introduce himself to...
Fallen readied an arrow and gauged the distance. Oh no... she's too far. My arrow won't make it in time! He looked around. He remembered that there was an elven mage that could use time magic. If he could somehow speed up Fallen's arrow, it would be able to reach the fearen before it stung his ally. Looking around, he could see that the time mage, too, was quite a ways away. How to get his attention... Aha!
Fallen grabbed a mineral that, when struck, would emit a bright light, light a flare. Not only would it possibly distract the attacking fearen, but he hoped it would also grab Enoch's attention. He took a deep breath, threw it into the air, and shouted... "Enoch! Speed up my arrow!"

Celty looked up and spotted the rock rushing through the air towards her. With no time to shape shift and no time to dodge the attack, she put her arms above her head and braced for impact.

After slaying the bulk fearen, he looked to the horizon, trying to find his teammates. While looking for people to help, he spotted a squad of people fending off various types of fearen. He rushed through the fearens, slaughtering as many ground bound ones as humanly possible in the process. As expected, the hounds and the bulks died while the stings were merely disabled, losing their stingers. He called out to the crowd in the circle consisting of a metal man, an elf, and a rogue looking person. Holding a hound fearen up like a deer on a hunting trip in his one hand, he proclaimed one thing.
"I CAN HELP!"

Enoch grit his teeth as Daryn's spell wore off at the absolute worst possible time. He miscalculated, and the spell ended right as she was in the line of fire of one of the massive fearen. He immediately reacted, holding his glaive out in front of him and preparing to stop time.
A large boulder entered Enoch's peripheral vision as Alroth's words hit his ears. Shit.
"Damnit!" he grunted, spinning his glaive and stopping time, his first instinct being to rescue his melee fighter. He dashed towards Daryn at full speed, grabbing her out of the way of the incoming attack and pulling her back to safety.
Glancing quickly at the other two stuck in the line of fire, he spun on his heel and ran towards the boulder, panting heavily as he felt himself getting drained far too quickly. Time has been stopped much longer than I intended... shoving Alroth out of the way before weakly tugging Celty to the side. Immediately he started the flow of time again and the boulder crashed just feet away from them. He stifled some nausea that accompanied the dizziness from the mass amount of magic consumed.
Fallen's arrow zipped by where Enoch had been standing, unaffected. Caught up in the moment, he didn't have the time to respond.

Gaynor assumed position in the background before this point, she used the other members charging into battle as a chance to analyze the situation before heading in. She wasn't used to fighting with this many people, so it took her a while to fully grasp the situation. She heard Enoch call for assistance, a bulky member of the guild approached and helped, but the elf still seemed to have his hands full-- finally, an open spot for her to join the battle.
She summoned her 'sword' just as before and ran up to the group. " Have a fair handle on both close and far range fighting, I will help the best way I can." for now, she assisted Daryn in her sword fighting adventure. Although Gaynor wasn't nearly as skilled as the sword master was in both speed or ability, she attempted to hold her ground by the intense damage her sword would deal.

The fearen drew in closer. One flyer two stingers... Manasa was out numbered, but not completely over powered. She only had a few steps left in her dance. Manasa decided to take a gamble. It was apparent everybody else was too preoccupied to defend her, she just had to finish quickly and hope the fearen don't get to here before then.
Back arched and arms gracefully spread above her, Manasa fell to her knees. The light from her eyes seemed to explode, like a light bulb bursting. Manasa's teammate became draped in a soft, golden aura. She had managed to cast a fortitude aura, giving all who it affect a big increase in physical and mental strength.
Manasa couldn't take a moment to revel in her achievement. as soon as her spell was casted, a stinger type lunged forward, its stinger dripping with venom. It impaled Manasa in the stomach before she even had a chance to recover from casting.

Daryn, joined by Gaynor, held new confidence and was able to defeat the bulk who had threatened her moments before. She was no longer affected by Enoch's time magic due to his recent strain, but it didn't matter because Gaynor was by her side ready to fight the same fearens as she, and ready to likely help her out when needed. She knew she'd do the same, as more fearen approached.

There is nothing to do, but wait at this moment... Doubt began to settle in, her spot was still all-too-open for Fearen to intrude. While her speed was certainly an advantage, she could only dodge attacks for so long. It was only a matter of time before they would spot her.
As her thoughts became overwhelmed with those of worry, her stomach churned. A sharp pang hit her in the gut. She moved one hand to hold it for a moment... her face contorting with pain. Sweat dripped from her forehead, this feeling was familiar... and to have it happen now only served to terrify her further. Her ears perked up at the sound of a screech overhead, followed by the swing of a venomous stinger. She had evaded it barely by an inch, but the beast swung itself again. The pain in her sharpened, and she doubled over in response. She was right in the way of the stinger... Altheron was standing nearby the entire time, struggling to evaluate the position he was in. This was his first time encountering the fearen he had heard so much about from his spirit guides, but they neglected to inform him about how they work, and more importantly, how to beat them. "Ooro!" Unsure of how to act in such a tense situation, Altheron threw his body at the beast, holding onto its stinger in an attempt to aim whatever danger held inside away from his friend. His hat fell off in the struggle.

Alroth was conveniently shoved out of the way just in time to avoid the falling rock. He had Enoch to thank for that one. The armor stumbled from the shove, but was able to correct himself relatively quickly. Not quickly enough, though, as there was nothing he could do to avoid a pouncing hound. The beast clamped its teeth around one of his arms, throwing off his balance enough to knock him over completely.
"RRrrragh!" Alroth yelled more in anger than anything. The suit didn't feel pain, but this inconvenience was incredibly annoying. Moreover, the pixie inside was being scrambled by all this sudden movement. With a heave, he threw the hound off and quickly got back to his feet, picking up his mace. Alroth swung with all his might, meaning to crush the beast flat into the ground.
...Unfortunately what he hit was actually the hound's leftover illusion, meaning the real one had teleported somewhere. Alroth didn't know the beasts' attack patterns, though, and just assumed it was dead.
"Wh-wha?" he stumbled, still unsure about what had happened with the rock. "Are you okay?" he asked the others, turning afterward to actually find out.

Rylan shot another orb of magic at one of the Sting Fearen, making direct contact with it's head. The beast shrieked and slumped over, the life completely drained out of it. Rylan began backing up, when he noticed something different.
This...aura..? Who did this?
Rylan began looking around, trying to figure out who cast this spell, while also getting a good look at how many fearen they were still dealing with. Everyone seemed to be beginning to work as a team. Rylan's moment of satisfaction was cut short, as he noticed Manasa being impaled by one of the Sting Fearen.
Oh god, not now...
As several hound fearen sprinted towards him, he threw one of the orbs toward their feet, momentarily stunning them, giving him enough time to help Manasa out. He made an orb around his hand to work as a makeshift guantlet. He reeled his fist back and punched straight through the Sting Fearen's chest, surprising even himself.
How in the...how did I do that!?!?
This was no time to ponder, however. Manasa was clearly in trouble.
"HEY! How bad is it? I have some casting paste for the wound, but are you gonna need antidote, as well?"
God, how long does it take for a sting fearen's poison to kill someone?? GAH I SHOULD KNOW THIS!!

"Everything's alright!" Daryn shouted over her shoulder toward Alroth. In a final motion toward her adversary, she cut off a bulk's head. "At least as alright as possible!" She said as she retreated from an onslaught of 3 hounds, hoping Gaynor would do the same. She ended up next to Enoch, repeating Alroth's earlier question. "Are you okay?"

Oh. Now they come to help. And is he seriously asking if Manasa needs an antidote? "Pfft... heh..."
Manasa couldn't help but laugh at how stupid his question was, especially at a time like now. Maybe the stress was getting to her, or maybe her body was telling her to loosen up. Either way, Manasa looked towards her glowing comrade, in much better health than one would expect her to be in.
"I've an immunity. He practically gave my a the equivalent of a drink of water. Now be a dear and patch me up so I can finally join the fray."
