(( iam again late again... ugh....)) Nicoals was sitting there.... doing nothing... he just, stared his dead brothers dead body. It was at that time when he noticed the Huge Fearen. He snapped out of his current mental state. " What... What is this thing?..." He was scared, he wanted to run, but before he could do anything, his brothers corpse grabbed his foot He couldnt do anything now. He couldnt fight, he couldnt run. It was clear to him that he was going to die. Alone now. His familly was dead, his friends were dead and the other guilt members were bussy deafeating that huge fearen. " Nobody will notice that i am gone anyway" said.
Wait... it wasnt time to give up. " If I am going to accept my death now as a coward, it means that i have already given up... i am not going to die yet. I WANT TO HELP MY GUILD AT SOMETHING!!! I DONT WANT TO BE A BURDEN ANYMORE!" he screamed He managed to release his foot from his brothers corpse and he runned as fast as he could. He saw his hammer on the ground and quickly grabbed it. " Now what?" "I dont know whats the plan... sigh... God dammit..."

" Now what?" "I dont know whats the plan... sigh... God dammit..." Rylan looked as Nicolas ran towards the inn. He shouted as loud as he could "THE PLAN IS FOLLOW THE GROUP TOWARDS FEAROS, AWAY FROM THE INN!! MANASA AND I ARE STAYING HERE TO REDIRECT THE BEAM HE IS CHARGING! FOLLOW THE GUILD AND WE'LL MEET UP WITH YOU LATER!!" With that, Rylan finished up the last bit of his prayer and let his hands fall to his side. His eyes were glowing an emerald green. He began taking off the bloodied scarf he was wearing as well as the sash he had beneath it, and let his hair fall out of a ponytail. He cracked his neck from side to side, trying to lessen the tension he was feeling. He could already feel the ashen skin spreading up his arm slowly, without him even using any magic. Oh this is gonna suck....Rylan turned toward Manasa and smiled. "I won't blame you if you want to follow the others. It'd be safer that way. I don't want to see any guild members die because of my short-comings."

"No way... Think of it as a thank you for saving me before... and an apology for being so... Vishkanyan." Manasa tried to smile back at Rylan, though it quickly turned to worry as she scanned up and down his body, seeing just how much damage he had received. He hand lost a leg and his body was covered in wounds. Manasa went to touch his arm, worried about the grey crawling up it but stopped, afraid she might hurt him.

Ooro's face lit up with glee at the revelation. "No way!" a glimmer of hope sparked within her, "When did you learn to do that!?" She shook her head- alright, now is not the time to ask such questions! Oh, but she truly was glad to see he hadn't been overtaken by the fearen! A wave of relief had washed over her mind. Thank goodness!
However, at the sound of Enoch's voice- she was reminded they had a plan they needed to fulfill. Getting separated from the group at a time like this could be dire... Though, if needed, she would attempt to get it back even if it meant departing from the others shortly. After all, they needed every fighter- and that included Altheron.
"Augh- that's right! Altheron, is your body on the way over to Fearos!? We can pick it up while near the group then!" Ooro stood staring at the hound, waiting for some kind of direction to be pointed in.

Fearos let out a roar so loud it shook the very ground they were standing on, even from so far away. The beam he was charging in his hand shrunk down to a small orb, then erupted into an enormous blast of energy, so wide, Rylan couldn't see him from behind it. Rylan's heart stopped at the sight of such incredible power.
Oh gods.....can I do this..?
He looked back at Manasa, trying to look as confident as possible.
Everyone here believes in me....this HAS to work....I can't let them down.....
Rylan's eyes began glowing even brighter as he prepared to redirect the beam.
I just have to get it behind him.....
"MANASA! I'D START YOUR DANCE IF I WERE YOU!!! PREFERABLY AS FAST AS POSSIBLE!!"
The beam was approaching quickly, giving Rylan and Manasa a small window for this to work.

Manasa snapped alert. She entered a completely different state as she began her performance. She needed something quick, yet strong. She needed to help as much as possible. Manasa's entire being became synchronized, from the tips of her fingers to her toes to the toxic blood coursing through her veins. Manasa dedicated the years of training she endured to this dance. Her entire mind cleared of anything unnecessary. Dance and Rylan. Those were the only things she needed right now, everything else was clutter. Everything a vishkanyan does should be in devotion to Naga. Our our bodies should meet the standard of beauty He seeks, our love given to nobody but him. When you dance it is as an offering to Him. To dance for anybody else is to be subjected to a fate worse than death.Manasa's eyes began to shimmer gold as she poured her everything into her dance, which writhed and twisted powerfully with urgency, as if begging for the safety of her comrade. Or pleading for forgiveness. As the dance reached its crescendo, Manasa's glowing eyes stared at the incoming attack with pure determination. A brilliant, white-gold aura bathed Rylan granting him all of the magical strength Manasa could possibly give him. That was it. That was all she had. From here Manasa could only stand back and watch as Rylan use his new found power to deflect the legendary fearen's attack and pray that what she gave him was enough.

The beam was almost upon them when Rylan noticed the aura Manasa had granted him. He felt so invigorated, so powerful, and yet, still extremely unsure of himself. But it was too late now. The beam was about to come in contact with them, when Rylan turned to face the beam head on and held out his hands. His eyes and arms glowing bright enough to blind a man, given he was nearby, Rylan created a portal to match the size of Fearos' beam. As the portal appeared in front of him, the ashen skin on his arm and leg began to spread like wildfire, consuming his skin in smoldering cinders of green flame. The pain was unbearable and Rylan began to scream at the burning sensation consuming his arm and leg. But he couldn't stop. He had to keep the portal going long enough for him to focus on its destination. Focus on Fearos' back....focus on his back.....as long as the ash doesn't get to my elbow, I'll be fine! Don't worry about that! FOCUS ON BRINGING THIS FUCKER DOWN!!!An enormous portal opened behind Fearos as the beam he had tried using to destroy the inn was being used against him, firing directly into the beast's mid-back. The beam of energy stopped pouring through the portal and Rylan closed the portal in front of him. Now he was able to witness if his plan would come to fruition, as he watched the fearen's own beam tear into the its back. Rylan fell to his knees, gripping his arm in pain, checking his arm to see how far the ashen skin had exceeded past his elbow. The ash was just above it. "Guh.....good....I still have a little time...."

"Augh- that's right! Altheron, is your body on the way over to Fearos!? We can pick it up while near the group then!" Ooro stood staring at the hound, waiting for some kind of direction to be pointed in. The blue hound fearen nodded once more as he continued his trek towards the shack. He began picking up more speed as a few more fearen tried to attack, using his horn to jab them in their sides. Hopefully Ooro could keep up. He felt the earth rumble as the huge fearen drew its attack. Unable to look back to see why the blow hadn't destroyed them all, Altheron drew closer and closer to his destination, leaving a trail of fearen corpses behind him.

Ooro had used the blade from earlier to strick down the oncoming fearen that trailed them. However, she seems to have accumulated a strange abundance of stamina- what happened to her? She was always quick on her feet, but this sudden increase in strength was a peculiar thing.
With every swing, it only served to remind Ooro what was happening. My body is changing soon... While for now, she had been using these changes for what she thought was for the better; there was no telling what may happen in the near future.
They arrived by a pile of rubble that once used to be a shack of some sort. The roof had almost completely fallen in, and there were debris scattered on the ground. In the small corner that had held up despite the odds- there laid the pale shaman's body. Quickly, she had removed the remainder of his cloak to tie Altheron's staff and hat around his body. "Sorry if it looks ridiculous, I just need to carry the sword in my other hand is all," she attempted to jest. With one arm swung over his shoulder and body, they could catch up with the group and bring him back safely.
"Let's go!" she called out, her feet moving back towards the rest.

The hound fearen nodded yet again before jumping out of one of the openings in the damaged shack to look where the rest of the team was headed. They seemed to be running... toward the giant beast?? This shook the fearen a little bit, but despite himself he followed Ooro's order and started running again.

Odessa blinked, but then focused on the current enemy. Fearos. She had to stop herself from grinning ear to ear. He was so powerful, and she, along with the rest of the Shadow Slayers, would bring him down! She would think about Plan B...Plan B...the current plan like Rylan said is to follow the group towards Fearos, away from the inn. So they'd need a distraction...A DISTRACTION!
Odessa tapped Fallen on the shoulder...more like hit him, but she was too excited. "Hey Fallen! Do you think my blinding spell could help us get close to Fearos??!!!" Then she remembered Rylan's attack, and cleared her throat. "Assuming Rylan's attack doesn't work. And even if it does, I think it can still be used to blind him while we attack him after he's on the ground."

Kama quickly ate the herb piece without hesitation and rushed out the door. His injuries were far from fully healed, but Kama was impatient and eager to help his guild on the battlefield. He ran towards Fearos with his swords in his hand as he saw the result of Rylan's counterattack.
A portal opened up behind Fearos and out of it was it's own beam aimed straight at it's back. Fearos didn't see the beam coming from behind, but it didn't have to. The magic shield came out once again to defend the back of the giant fearen, automatically blocking the attack. The beam constantly pushed against the magic shield, but the magic shield wasn't showing any signs of getting weaker. Rylan's plan didn't seem to work, but suddenly the shield started to crack. The fire arrows Mimisko shot earlier weakened the shield just barely enough to allow the beam to pass through. The beam caused a large explosion with enough impact to be felt throughout the entire battlefield as it hit Fearos's back. Fearos's massive body fell down towards the guild, landing on it's arms and knees with it's head touching the ground. Kama noticed something as soon as Fearos fell. There was a small crack on the top of Fearos's head, just barely far back enough on the head to be out of sight whenever Fearos was standing up. Within the small crack was a magic orb that Kama recognized. A magic orb that was frequently used to power large man-made magic weapons. Kama wasn't sure why this was inside of the giant Fearen's head, but this was no time to ponder. That orb may have been the source of Fearos's power. Perhaps this was this creature's weak point. Kama shouted "SHADOW SLAYERS HIT THE CRACK IN IT'S HEAD! DESTROY THE ORB INSIDE! THIS MAY BE A WEAK POINT! ATTAAAAAAAAAAAACK"
Fearos wasn't planning on making victory easy for them. It's eyes glowed even brighter as it cast a spell. Fearos summoned meteors from the sky to fall down on it's opponents, and smashed the ground to create a huge earthquake to make it difficult to dodge the meteors. The Shadow Slayers had no choice. Now that the magic shield was down and the armored shell was weak on the top of it's head, all of the guild, both magic users and non-magic users, were given a chance to take Fearos down. Possibly their last chance to defeat Fearos once and for all.

The pixie within Alroth had already switched back to direct synchronization as a means of controlling the armor. During the time leading up to Rylan's attack, Alroth had pushed to one side, being out of the way of the beam, but not as far forward as the rest of the guild. The massive shockwave caused by Fearos falling was almost enough to throw the armor to the ground.
Alroth drew the shield from his back and raised it overhead as meteors crashed down around the battlefield. Incidentally, they were killing a lot of the fearen that remained, and the earthquake had a similar effect in slowing them down. The shaking ground was difficult to move on, but leaning on his mace for extra support allowed Alroth to advance at a walking pace. Falling rocks rebounded off the shield left and right, but it would take an absolutely massive meteor to stop the heavy armor.
"Alright, old man." he said "This had better work." Obviously if it didn't, being so close to Fearos would not end well. Step by step, Alroth moved toward the fallen goliath.

Rylan eyes widened as he watched Fearos collapse on the ground. He stared at the giant in disbelief.
"It....it worked!? IT WORKED!!"
Rylan turned to Manasa and grabbed he by the arms, excitedly.
"Did you see that!? I can't believe it worked! We did it! We really did it!!"
Rylan looked like a small child, getting as excited as he was. He hugged Manasa
"Oh my gods, thank you!"
Rylan realized what he was doing and let go of her, embarrassed.
"Oh, uh...Sorry, I got a bit too..excited..." Rylan's face was as red as the fearen's blood he was drenched in.
This may have been a small victory, but the battle was far from over. The earth began to quake as Fearos smashed his fist into the ground, and Rylan could see meteors beginning to hurdle towards the battlefield. This was no time to celebrate. It was time to finish the mission. They HAD to defeat Fearos. Rylan turned toward Manasa.
"Come on, we have to meet up with the others. We'll be crushed if we don't get moving!"
