As the rogue shot a wink in her direction- Ooro chuckled at the gesture. "I'm glad to hear, I was... worried, to say the least," she smiled in attempt to shake off some of her previous anxiety.
"...If you don't mind, I would like some." Truthfully, she felt a bit bad for nodding to accept the food. It was her original job to fetch everyone's supplies, but at the moment she was incapacitated while her body ached. Then was the fact- she had royally messed up when she ran off with his belongings. "I am Ooro... I'd like to apologize for earlier. You were very helpful to Rylan and I, but I accidentally ran off with your satchel..." her eyelids drooped. "I know you got injured because of it, and... that wasn't my intention..."
Her body still stung as she attempted to move her limbs, but she wanted to be able to prop herself up to face him correctly. Slowly, she lifted her back off the ground, and slouched herself forward to sit up. The pain was still present, but she needed to gain some endurance. Droplets of sweat ran down her forehead slightly as she did so, but she inhaled deeply, as though to bear through it. When she sat face-to-face with the figure, she noticed something...
"...You look... quite young," her eyebrow quirked. Despite her first impression when patching him up earlier, he seemed different now. It would appear she didn't quite take into account just how youthful his features were. "May I ask, how old you are?" many individuals could find this inquiry rather rude, but to Ooro, she hadn't remembered that asking such a thing could be considered "impolite." To her, it was just a simple question out of curiosity, and needless to say, she was rather puzzled on the idea of a child in battle. She hadn't seen one in years, and to see them fighting for their life like this was... a bit disheartening.

(( Hey I just wanted to let you know Oxy is not actually on a leash!! It's just a saying. Also, Rylan is the only one who saw what happened with Celty and Oxy during the fight. The half-fearen thing is a secret : O )) ((HHHHHHH I'M SORRY. ;0; I'll change the thing. ;w;.))

Celty bit her lip and eyed the forest, "Actually, I don't think talking is going to do us much good." She gestured towards the woods with her head. "I'd like to show you something instead. Care to take a walk with me?" Enoch raised an eyebrow, nodding slowly. Once again, he looked the two of them over. Why couldn't they discuss it in front of other guild members? Out of all of their teammates to be concerned about, the young fire mage was certainly not at the top of his list. It had to be something serious, but as he racked his brain for possibilities, nothing particularly came to mind. And as for the possible reasons Celty chose him out of everyone to speak to... I wonder what's wrong. "Of course. Shall we go then?" he replied, beginning to walk in the direction Celty had gestured to. He waved to Mimisko before turning towards the forest, the worried knot in his stomach tightening more and more as his inner ruminations continued.

(( Since someone asked about it, here's a not-so-quick summary of the entire fight. Hopefully this isn't too hard to read - there's a lot going on. lol Kama lead the group in Valdus' footsteps, hoping to find the lost hero. The group were ambushed by fearen in some sort of village. Osseus ran off on his own to hide and look for things. Enoch, Daryn, and Alroth merged into a formation to hold off the fearen. Manasa ran off to start dancing. Celty hid Oxy and began fighting on her own. Rylan began fighting on his own. Fallen began fighting on his own. Ooro fled for safety, but got attacked.
A bulk fearen threw a boulder at Alroth, Enoch, and Celty - who was nearby. Enoch stopped time to get the other two out of the way, also saving Daryn who was about to be hit by something else. Gaynor joined the small formation around Enoch. Altheron jumped ontop of the fearen attacking Ooro, saving her. Manasa got stabbed while finishing her dance, which cast a strengthening aura over those nearby. Rylan killed the fearen attacking Manasa.
Ooro killed the fearen that Altheron was riding. Rylan helped patch up Manasa and ran back to the fight near Osseus and Fallen. Gremlon teamed up with Urzul, who threw him in the air so he could attack the flying fearen. Fallen covered Rylan's back and approached Odessa. Celty was lifted into the air by a winged fearen.
Gremlon was thrown by Urzul again, and used the chance to take out the fearen carrying Celty. Celty fell to the ground suffering minor injuries. Ooro carried Altheron on her back, giving Enoch an herb in passing before going into an abandoned house. Alroth pointed out the inn, calling for a regrouping. Rylan was hit with an acid attack, almost completely severing his right foot. Urzul fell into some exploding fearen and died.
Ooro brought Rylan back to the abandoned house and finished amputating his foot. Altheron ran away from the scene and hid in another building. Osseus entered the abandoned house and offered to stand guard. Odessa entered the house and helped heal Rylan's leg. Manasa ran to help Celty. Alroth pushed through to the inn. Gremlon cried for urzul, causing more of his arm to deteriorate while he killed several fearen for vengeance. Fallen joined Celty and Manasa, creating a diversion.
Kama gave the order for everyone to regroup at Alroth's inn. Rylan fashioned himself a peg leg out of an old chair. Ooro lead the others from the house toward the inn. Celty went back for Oxy, but he wasn't there. Gaynor went to help Celty. Daryn and Enoch headed toward the inn. Manasa joined Gremlon, and the two made their way to the inn.
Enoch got hit by a mage fearen, causing him to hallucinate some kids he failed to protect. Daryn kept going, and dragged Enoch. Celty found Oxy, who was crying over a dead fearen. Gaynor fought back the fearen nearby, taking a hit and tiring herself out with a powerful spell. Fallen ran to Gaynor's aid. Nicolas was hit by an explosion and fell to the ground beside the corpse of his brother. Ooro was hit by a mage fearen and hallucinated... herself. Manasa went to help Nicolas. Mimisko attacked a spore fearen, causing it to multiply. Kama protected Mimisko, taking heavy damage in the process. Osseus was hit by a mage fearen, hallucinating his execution. Rylan was hit by a mage fearen, hallucinating the ritual that gave him his powers.
Daryn and Enoch reached the inn, and took up their original roles. Ooro and Odessa reached the inn. Fallen and Celty (with Oxy, of course) helped Gaynor to the inn. Mimisko joined the others at the inn, leaving Kama. Ooro helped patch up Gremlon. Altheron possessed a hound fearen and began fighting his way toward the others. Rylan fought off the fearen attacking him and joined the others. Oxy freaked out and attacked Celty. Osseus recovered and fought his way to the inn.
Alroth, Enoch, Daryn, and Rylan upheld the front line. Altheron saved Kama. Osseus fainted. Celty fainted. Ooro tended to Osseus and Celty.
Fearos appeared.
Alroth climbed on top of the inn to survey the situation. Manasa was attacked by tick-zombies, and made herself a new outfit while also finding a convenient room full of weapons and supplies. Mimisko fired an arrow at Fearos. Osseus devised a plan. Celty woke up. Altheron teleported Kama to the inn. Fearos began charging an attack. Rylan devised a plan to redirect it. Manasa began dancing to help out.
Mimisko fired five more arrows at Fearos. Ooro helped Kama. Alroth jumped down to help protect Manasa alongside Daryn. Gaynor kept fighting the smaller fearen. Manasa finished her dance, boosting the magic of Enoch, Alroth, and Rylan. Manasa performed another dance to project a healing aura around the group. Celty sent Oxy away to hide in a nearby building. Nicolas got up and joined the group. Rylan sent the others away. Fearos began firing his beam toward the inn.
The rest of the group headed toward Fearos. Manasa stayed with Rylan, helping him with a dance. Rylan opened a portal, catching Fearos' beam and sending it out another portal behind Fearos. The beam broke through Fearos' magic barrier and hit it in the back, causing it to fall down and reveal a weak spot on its head. Fearos created and earthquake and rained down meteors from the sky.
Altheron teleported Alroth directly in front of Fearos. Osseus attacked Fearos' eyes. Mimisko fired another arrow at Fearos. Rylan used a portal to redirect a meteor at the weak spot. Enoch cast a spell to slow Fearos down. The others continued fighting the other fearen and avoiding the meteors. Alroth climbed onto Fearos' head and hit the weak spot with his mace, breaking it open.
Fearos stood up again, with Alroth and Osseus still on top. Fearos began charging another attack. Kama began to climb Fearos' leg. Alroth fell from the head to the shoulder, dropping his mace. Ooro transformed and charged up Fearos, helping Alroth reach the top again.
Osseus stabbed a dagger into the orb inside Fearos. Alroth stabbed his shield into Fearos' orb. All of Fearos' power was drained into the sky, stopping his attack. Fearos fell down again, dead.

"Of course. Shall we go then?" he replied, beginning to walk in the direction Celty had gestured to. He waved to Mimisko before turning towards the forest, the worried knot in his stomach tightening more and more as his inner ruminations continued. Celty nodded and walked back towards the forest, leading the way. She waited until they were deep into the woods, much deeper than before. The trees obscured most of the light from the moon this far in. She turned to Enoch, her eyes glowing a slight green as they reflected back the moonlight despite the darkness. Oxy seemed scared and tugged hard at her hand. She smiled down at him. "Shh, I know what I'm doing." She looked back up at Enoch, her heart beating wildly in her chest. She still barely knew him, but he was one of the most trustworthy souls she'd come across in her last two years of travel. She was willing to take that bet...and if not...she knew what her next step would have to be. "Enoch," She started, "I know we just met and I know you don't know much about me and my son. But...If we're going to stay in this guild. If we're going to make a home for ourselves with these people, there has to be someone we can turn to who won't reject us for what we've done...and who are." She carefully let go of Oxy's hand and leaned down next to him, but still directing her conversation to Enoch. "I chose you because you were the only one who was kind from the start. You talked to us as people." She bit her lip. "I pray you still will." She put her hand over Oxy's pendant and stared into Enoch's eyes, begging for trust. "You use illusionary magic, if I'm not mistaken. I'm surprised we managed to get this past you for as long as we did. But before I say anything else, you have to promise me...you can't scream. You can't run. And don't you dare attack us." Her hand was still hovering over Oxy's pendant. "Do I have your word?"

Rylan had gotten up to head back to the village when he heard rustling near by. He got down low and prepared to use his magic in case not all the fearen had left the area. It was then that he saw Celty and Enoch heading towards the woods. Rylan was already disgruntled towards Celty's child and he wanted to avoid Enoch's questions, but curiousity began to get the best of him.
Why are they going into the woods at this time of night..? What are they doing..?
Rylan stayed low until they were a bit of a distance away from them and began to trail behind them, keeping a distance as to not alert the two of his presence. Rylan got close enough to where he could just make out what Celty was saying to Enoch, and he stayed behind a tree, waiting to hear what she was talking about...

Enoch continued to follow them deeper and deeper into the woods, until he was primarily relying on the sounds of their footsteps and the small patches of moonlight that broke through the thick canopy of leaves in order to continue onwards. As they finally reached their destination, Enoch gazed at the two of them, a million questions ringing in his ears. "Enoch," She started, "I know we just met and I know you don't know much about me and my son. But...If we're going to stay in this guild. If we're going to make a home for ourselves with these people, there has to be someone we can turn to who won't reject us for what we've done...and who are." "You use illusionary magic, if I'm not mistaken. I'm surprised we managed to get this past you for as long as we did. But before I say anything else, you have to promise me..." The priest searched the Celty's eyes carefully as they stared up at him, gently glowing green, and one of the few visuals he could clearly make out in the all encompassing darkness of the forest. But he found no ill intentions, no reason to distrust her or feel unsafe. He held out the hand carrying his weapon to the side, dropping his glaive to the ground, making unwavering eye contact with her. "You have my word. I promise."

Mimisko walked around. She wondered where Rylan went off too. She got a little worried about him for a moment.
"Oh, I hope Rylan is doing alright.... maybe he is setting up something that will help others...maybe."
She is looking for people to see who she can talk to talk to. She sees Nicolas and would like to talk to him but he's fixing Karma's weapons, so she doesn't want to bother him. She walks to Manasa. Mimisko waves to Manasa.
"Hello. My name is Mimisko Lunania. I am a fire mage. I hope you're doing well."
((Mimisko is pulling a Mokoko, lol.))

He cleared his throat to speak, a little shaken by the implications of the question. "It's really weird actually, since I age twice as slow as humans and live twice as long and..." Osseus trailed off, trying to explain his aging process to someone who didn't work the same way, "...I'm technically 30 but I'm essentially 15 so it's weird like that," Osseus chuckled awkwardly. He'd be immortal to humans and insignificant to elves, an awkward middle ground that could never work out for anyone involved with him. Noticing the strain on her body from lifting himself up, he propped open his spare canteen that was already filled several days before and carefully slung it around her neck. Then again, asking him three days ago to do this would warrant him to spit in their face.

"ah," Gaynor began, "I was just thinking of approaching you a few moments ago. I'm glad you thought the same of me. It's nice to meet you, Rezza." she slowly unwrapped the cloth around her arm and exposed the stab wound.
"These damned fearen are getting more of a pain in my ass." she laughed, cringing slightly as another pain shot through her arm as the cloth peeled off the stabbed area. "I'm glad you showed up at the time you did- which, I must ask, why?"

Ooro's head tilted to the side, obviously confused. She had noticed he wasn't an elven of her kind... was this normal for them? She watched as he hung his canteen around her neck. "Oh... thank you," her hand struggled to lift it to her lips, but eventually she was able to do so. After taking a swig, her eyes met his again, still filled with intrigue.
I don't remember much about his kind... maybe not even a scrap, truthfully. Though, for most elven, they had no qualms talking about their culture objectively. (At least, if the question was asked by an outsider.) Still not noticing the change in her ears, she pondered about asking Osseus directly about his people.
I told Enoch what I was in the heat of the moment, but Osseus can't tell, right? After all, no one was able to discern her race for probably forty to thirty years. If she hadn't told the time-mage earlier, he wouldn't have recognized it either, most likely. If he does not recognize what I am, surely asking such an obvious question would be acceptable? They wouldn't expect me to know, anyways...
Ooro drew a deep breath, "Is that how your race usually age? I... do not know much about other cultures." Her shoulders drooped, as though feeling a bit... inappropriate. If she had retained her old appearance, asking such an inquiry would evoke unpleasant glances. Elven were supposed to know about their relative bloodlines, regularly.

He held out the hand carrying his weapon to the side, dropping his glaive to the ground, making unwavering eye contact with her. "You have my word. I promise." Once he spoke, Celty turned to Oxy with a smile in place to hide her fear. "Do you trust me?" She whispered. She was scared what his reply would be, and she would back off if his faith in her really had been shattered. Oxy looked down at the pendant that his mother was gripping. Slowly, he covered her hand with his own. He tried to smile weakly, and she could see that for the moment he had forgiven her. "Yes, Ma." Celty breathed a sigh of relief and started to unclasp the pendant. "Here we go, little one." Together, son and mother removed the cloak and allowed it to fall. Oxy starred up at Enoch with eyes that reflected none of the fear that his mother showed. He didn't quite understand the weight of the situation. He sat down on his now-revealed tail and cocked his head at the man, waiting for a response. Celty starred at him too. They'd never done this before. She didn't know what someone's reaction would be. She carefully removed one of her gloves in the dark, preparing to strike with what little strength she had remaining if things went south.

Manasa turned around from the pile of weapons she had before her and faced Mimisko. She hadn't the chance to interact with the girl during combat- or out of it for that matter- all she knew of her was from hearing her cries echo through the battlefield on occasion. She was of short statue and clearly young. Manasa wondered why such a small girl was fighting with the guild, though the same could be said about the fact that one of the guild members was toting a small child with them.
"Ah, yes." A sharp ting came from the sole of Manasa's right foot. "I'm well. My name is Manasa."

She carefully removed one of her gloves in the dark, preparing to strike with what little strength she had remaining if things went south. Enoch widened his eyes slowly as the illusion around Oxy dropped. The child that once held his mother's fox-like appearance now was very clearly a fearen in appearance. His mind raced at a thousand miles an hour, keeping his initial fear at bay and his expression as aloof as possible, before finally settling on the realization. That was nothing but an illusion. This is still the same child. There was no transformation or shift. It was nothing more than a facade that had been dropped. His mental state should still be the same as always. Kneeling down in front of Oxy, he glanced up at Celty, holding eye contact with her for a moment before looking back to her son. "How are you feeling right now, Oxy?" He studied him carefully, looking over the boy's fearen form. He wanted to hear what the child had to say about everything first.

If she had retained her old appearance, asking such an inquiry would evoke unpleasant glances. Elven were supposed to know about their relative bloodlines, regularly. At this point, there was no choice but to tell her about who he was. He gulped down and took a deep breath. Nothing to hide now... "I'm...half human, half dark elf. Dark elves normally live for thousands of years and look nothing like me outside the ears, so..." He shook at the notion of describing his situation to Ooro, crossing his fingers as he described the dark elven race as it presented himself in his mother. "They kind of have grey skin, white hair, inverted eyes, use black magic, and they're 7 feet tall, so outside the ears no one can really tell I guess.." He went on to think more about how the one half of his race worked, then remembered his heritage. "Essentially humans hate dark elves and dark elves have a race purity issue, so the fact that I exist is kind of odd in it of itself since they hate each other so much," He scratched his head as he tried to make sure what he said made sense to her, still crossing his fingers.
