Name: Vassa Ide Personality: An elf with a short temper and a short height. She tries to avoid awkward silences and such by talking and making jokes, even though she's not very good at it. Fighting Abilities: Vassa is a thief. She's quick and can run quite fast, but not for too long. She uses short knives and blades to attack her opponents, but her defense isn't very good since her weapons are short range. Swords are her weakest point. Past: When she was younger, she lived with her family in a small house on the edge of a big village. Unfortunately, her parents didn't have jobs that paid them very well, so she resorted to stealing money and valuable possessions. It was this way she learned how to be quick and how to handle blades and smaller knives to cut through money pouches or get through a locked door. She got by unnoticed for quite a while but eventually got caught and banished from the village. From there on, she started traveling alone, using her skills as a thief to survive. It was at this point the fearens attacked. She doesn't know if her parents and siblings are alive, and frankly, she doesn't care.
Vassa was hiding in a tree, not too far from "their" camp. Below her was a stream with crystal clear water. From the branches of her hideout, she could see the group of people she had been following for the past couple of hours (watching them kill fearens and helping each other while they were at it, something she had a hard time understanding, since she had been a one-woman team for as long as she could remember) sitting around a fireplace, sharing some sort of liquid.

"I'll never get used to that." She said, mostly to herself. Seeing his curious look, she spoke again. "Ah, yeah, I'm good now. Everything seems to be in working order." She stretched her legs. They were definitely usable once more. She wiggled her fingers and smiled in satisfaction. "Uh, thanks, Rezza." She smiled at him. She hadn't said so many 'thank you's in so long. It was hard to admit when someone helped her. It was hard to admit she was ever weakened, and it was certainly hard to admit she needed any help Once again everything had turned out okay, and Rezza watched as Daryn stretched out. "That is quite good to hear." He bowed in response to her thanks. "It was my honor to meet you, miss Daryn." Resting his staff on his shoulder the healer then turned his head looking for the old man who had recently arrived along with Daryn. That old man appeared to be beaten as well, something that Rezza could not just ignore. Kama was still pretty badly injured, and was extremely exhausted. After a glance around he had spotted the man. Rezza approached him from outside the gathering and stood no less than a foot behind him, and observed him looking for signs of any help he could need. The group, or guild as the old man had dubbed it, had begun to tell stories and drink. Rezza had no interest in stories, he had lived in a convent and before that grew up on a farm, and alcohol was forbidden in his convent therefore he would never drink it. He would however drink water and after all the chanting and speaking he had been doing it was certainly something he needed. Rezza retrieved another glass vial, it clinking and clanging against the others as he pulled it out, and downed it quickly before placing it back with more racket. He took one step closer to the man Rezza's eyes almost boring holes through him.

Meanwhille, Nicolas was staring at the others, whille they were telling stories. He felt like he wanted to say something, but he didnt. He was just staring around looking the sky, his surridings, his fellow teamates. He suddently felt the urge to puke. " ugh.... I shouldnt have eaten those mushrooms for breakfast" he told to himshelf. He put his hand on his mouth, stood up and told to the other guild members " E-excuse me... I-I have to go somewhere for a minute or two" He quickly walked to a nearby tree, whenhe noticed a figure nearby the tree " A fearen..? No... It doesnt look like one... Is it a woman?" He thought He moved a bit closer to the tree to see who was there

He thought He moved a bit closer to the tree to see who was there Vassa was close to dozing off when she saw somebody getting close to the tree where she was hiding. Thoughts like "Should I run?" "Should I fight them?" and "Goddamnit." ran through her head. She eventually decided to stay completely still to see where this was going. Perhaps this person wouldn't see her?

The male with messy blond hair in front of her seemed to be friendly, but trusting people wasn't that easy when you hardly knew them. She wanted to say something to scare him off or make him leave her alone, preferably something that would make him forget the whole situation while he was at it. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. She just shook her head and pulled her hair back, trying to show him the blades on the back of her hands without making it too obvious that she was nervous.

The elderly man turned over to face his guild and tried to lighten the mood by shouting "So who's up for some rum, meat, and crazy campfire stories huh? I've got plenty of alcohol to go around! Let's get Rylan over here piss drunk HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Altheron sat back up once the mood got lighter around the fire and closed his book once again, placing it back into its pouch. He figured now was a good time to stop reading; He'd start to forget important spells and procedures if he crammed too many in his brain. He looked around the "camp". Most of the guild members were there, either talking to each other or doing nothing like he was. Scanning the area a bit more, he noticed the fox man from earlier walking around, probably looking for more people to heal. At this, Altheron wrapped his arms around his legs and stared as the small hybrid approached..... "Uh, I have some sort of burn on my hand. I was healed before it happened, so I have no battle injuries that need attention. Uh, there's- not really much else." Daryn looked down as she unwrapped her hand. It looked worse than it had before, but her ointment had at least alleviated the feeling it would have given her. .... Daryn.Altheron watched as Rezza healed her in an instant, tightening his grip on his pant leg as the healer moved from person to person with ease. Why can I not do that? he thought, bringing his forehead to his knees. As a shaman, he was expected to be able to cure the sick and repair the damaged in addition to acting as the bridge between the physical and spiritual plane, but that never happened. Healing was a skill he could never quite master back when in his training at home. He could fix shallow cuts and scrapes using specialized energy fields, but they only kind of worked in the end. There was never any guarantee that his abilities would do the job, even with his divining eye, and that fact alone usually made him uncomfortable when others would use their magic to heal others. He had nothing against Rezza. He was entirely grateful for his services, but the way they made him reflect on his own shortcomings left a bad taste in his mouth. Trying to oust these negative vibes, Altheron raised his head, hoping the stories the others were sharing would knock him out of his slump. “Make sure I don't die, ok guys?” Osseus joked to Ooro and Altheron before taking the bottle and downing a significant portion of alcohol for his size. He turned over to Osseus, who looked kind of sick once he drank from the bottle the old man handed him. Alarmed, the shaman quickly shook off the rest of his worries and stood behind his new friend, ready to catch him in case he fell. Fortunately, he didn't, and he finished his peculiar story in one piece. Left with nothing else to do, Altheron walked around the camp until he saw Rezza yet again, standing behind the old man, almost as close as he did in the fight earlier. Learning from his mistakes, he stood a foot behind Rezza, gently tapping him on the shoulder. " I think you might want to step back." he "whispered".

Nicolas didnt quite understand what Vassa was trying to do. Maybe she thought he was threat? He wasnt sure but he wanted to point it out " Um, Miss, just to let you know, I am not a threat, I am a member of-" He then remembered the reason he was there. He again wanted to puke. "Damnit ". He put his hand on his mouth again to try not to puke infrond of Vassa. He didnt wanted to be rude.

She let go of her hair when Nicolas started talking, focusing on what he said until his sentence was cut short by a "Damnit!". She'd seen this type of behavior before, perhaps a long time ago when she still lived with her famil, and knew he was going to vomit. She was, once again, at a loss for words but did what her gut told her to do. She jumped down from the branch and approached the man, but realised that she wouldn't be of any help. He was quite a bit taller than her, so she couldn't pull his hair back, rub his back, or do any kind of supporting activity for that matter. But she couldn't just leave him like this, could she? After a few seconds of thinking to make some kind of plan, she had an outline on what to do. She turned her head to the campfire and mustered up some courage. "HEY!" she shouted, trying to catch their attention.

Kama handed Rylan another drink while laughing loud and obnoxiously at all of the stories being told. Rylan's story had him on the floor laughing, and Celty's story did as well. Unfortunately when Osseus's story came around he had a bunch of rum in his mouth, turned over and spit his drink all over Rezza as his laughter was too much to allow him to contain the drink in his mouth. "Sorry about that new guy. You're so short that I didn't see you there HAHAHAHA!" He observed Rezza a while ago and noticed that he was a healer, but before he could ask Rezza to heal him he noticed Vassa in the distance trying to grab their attention. Kama turned around and looked over at Vassa as he shouted "WHAT?" in response.

Celty's arm was still around her son as she looked around at the chatting guild members. They all looked so much happier now and she couldn't help the small smile that came to her lips. She noticed Oxy giving a tired yawn and looked down at him fondly.
"How about I sing you a lullaby?"
Oxy nodded with another long yawn, snuggling close to her side. Celty took a breath, feeling her own heavy eyelids gaining weight by the moment, and sang in a dazed like state:
"Beware the hour when the witching wolf comes, It's teeth are sharp, but it's eyes are numb, They took something of mine and gave it to thee, She's looking for you, but coming for me..."
Her head dipped down and her words trailed off. She seemed to not even be aware of what she'd been singing. She was asleep in an instant, her son dozing peacefully in her lap.

"A LITTLE HELP HERE?" she shouted, groaning internally. Why was he showering that other guy with... "Oh." They were drinking alcohol. Everything suddenly made sense. Was this why the blonde-haired guy was vomiting? What a capable group of "warriors" she had stumbled upon.

"A LITTLE HELP HERE?" she shouted, groaning internally. Wasn't his guy their leader? While she was observing the group these past weeks, he sure seemed to be. ((the shadow slayers have only been together for about a day blastel))

Rylan looked as Manasa sat next to him and looked back down at the floor, feeling sick to himself. He took another swig of the rum Kama had just handed him as if to calm his nerves. He looked over towards her, guilt evident in his voice.
"I...I'm sorry if I had upset you, Manasa....I didn't mean to upset anyone..."
Rylan put his hand on Manasa's back and tried rubbing it, trying to comfort her. He wasn't sure if he was doing this right, as it had been 2 years since he found any other humanoid in the world, and thus forgot a bit of his social skills.
