Ooro was glad to see the tension dissipate, but her ears shot upward at the mention of alcohol. Stealthily, she scooted a few seats further from Kama as she remembered the vomit incident from their earlier introduction...
Her eyes flickered around the scene, checking for familiar faces. Out of them, she could spot Enoch from the other side. Sheepishly, she gave him a slight wave as to greet him...
She couldn't lie to herself as she was still definitely curious about his origins the most. Part of it being the fact he was a nomad, and the other being that she wasn't sure how to compose herself in front of him. Ooro was worried that her confession from earlier only served as a reason to sever ties with her- as an average individual of elven blood most likely would upon hearing. After all, she did not pull-together like one, at least not the ones from her time. He, however, reflected their collected nature more; although she felt he was tad bit kinder when speaking to him.
Exchanging glances around the fire once more, she tried to think of a designated "crazy campfire story", Kama had mentioned. Did she really have any? Her heart sank a bit, as the realization upon her dawned that maybe if she hadn't been gone for so long, she could have something of interest to say. Living in the forest must have produced at least one good tale, surely? Alas, her mind became wrought with worry as she felt she couldn't distinguish what would be "crazy" in a positive way, or just strange in an odd manner. Maybe it would be best to stay quiet and listen to others until she had a clue as to what to say...

Rylan let out a small chuckle. "You know what, after a day like this, I could definitely use a drink!" Rylan was happy that Kama had taken a liking to him, at least. He looked over towards Enoch and Celty, and his smile quickly faded. Those bridges were burned, and he's not sure if there'd ever be a way for him to repair them. He looked towards Manasa, seeing how much he had upset her with the idea of him leaving. A knot formed in his stomach again. "Uh...get me a drink as quickly as possible, please. I have a lot about this day I would really rather forget...."

"Uh, I have some sort of burn on my hand. I was healed before it happened, so I have no battle injuries that need attention. Uh, there's- not really much else." Daryn looked down as she unwrapped her hand. It looked worse than it had before, but her ointment had at least alleviated the feeling it would have given her. "So. You got a name?" She looked at him expectantly. She ignored the announcement of alcohol and stories from Kama. She didn't care much for stories, and alcohol could only serve to give her a headache in the morning. That was the last thing she needed. "I see, I see." Rezza nodded and leaned in closer to take a look at her hand. "This will certainly be easy to fix." He reached for his staff when she delivered her question, it caused him to freeze for a moment. Had he forgotten to introduce himself. Perhaps prattling off your life's story before you are certain you have someone's attention was a bad thing. Rezza questioned himself as his hand found his staff and picked it up, sitting it it across his lap. "Ah, yes, yes." Falling into thought for a second he brought his left hand to his face and lightly tapped his cheek. "R- Rezza Light's the name." He spat the words out almost clumsily as he broke out, back into reality. "My former comrades used to address me as Brother Light." Concentration once again returned to him as he got to his feet turning toward Daryn. "Your problem will be quite an easy fix, if I could just request that you stay still for a second." It was a fairly short chant no more than one minute in length when spoken. Rezza held his staff in front of his body and began. Once he had finished he looked at Daryn inquisitively.

Enoch watched as Kama smoothed everyone's ruffled nerves, his body relaxing once again in relief. Everything turned out better than he'd expected, a fact he was very pleased with. He, however wasn't too keen on joining in the revelries and drinking. "Well... " He rethought his initial reaction. "One drink might not hurt." After that roller coaster of stress, he couldn't really fault himself. As Rezza came over to check on Daryn, he looked at everyone sitting around the campfire, observing the motley crew of guild members interacting. I wonder what kind of "campfire tales" everyone has to tell. They were all such different people from such diverse backgrounds. Certainly they all had a variety of fascinating stories to share. But as for him... He wasn't so good with stories. Out of all the things he'd seen in his travels, he could barely scrape together any kind of coherent story in between the snapshots of facts and empirical experiences stored in his brain. Surely if he thought hard enough, he could think of something about his travels to share outside of reciting off a list of things that happened and things that he'd seen. Something that wasn't the sad stories that first sprung to mind at the mention of "tales". Nobody wanted to hear those, and he didn't want to tell them. Her eyes flickered around the scene, checking for familiar faces. Out of them, she could spot Enoch from the other side. Sheepishly, she gave him a slight wave as to greet him... Enoch finally stopped his visual sweep of the campfire, noticing Ooro waving a little at him. He smiled a bit and gave her a small wave. He still needed to thank her for giving him that potion during the battle. She no doubt saved his skin.

It was a fairly short chant no more than 1 minute in length when spoken. Rezza held his staff in front of his body and began. Once he had finished he looked at Daryn inquisitively. Daryn closed her eyes as all the burning feelings dissipated from her fingers. When she opened them, her hand was completely fine. "I'll never get used to that." She said, mostly to herself. Seeing his curious look, she spoke again. "Ah, yeah, I'm good now. Everything seems to be in working order." She stretched her legs. They were definitely usable once more. She wiggled her fingers and smiled in satisfaction. "Uh, thanks, Rezza." She smiled at him. She hadn't said so many 'thank you's in so long. It was hard to admit when someone helped her. It was hard to admit she was ever weakened, and it was certainly hard to admit she needed any help. Halfway through her thoughts, Daryn realized her mistake. Rezza had already given his name. Damn, I'm an idiot.

"One drink coming right up!" Kama said as he walked over to his dirty old bad and grabbed out some rum. He gave a drink to Rylan, and then began chugging some alcohol from another bottle himself. He sat down with a huge smile on his face ready to tell some stories, but he wasn't quite as happy as he looked. Kama was still pretty badly injured, and was extremely exhausted. He had so many questions going on in his head about what happened between Rylan and Oxy, but he didn't let his stress show. Right now Kama's concern was with the mental state of his guild. He decided to do everything he could to lighten their spirits.
He put the bottle down and grabbed out some beef as well, stabbed the meat with a stick and held it over the campfire as he said "So who wants to hear about the time I farted all over a stupid 10 year old kid named Galax while the kid tried to punch me in the butt?" It was typical of Kama to say something so stupid and disgusting as his ideal "crazy story." Chances are that they'd much rather hear about the time Kama saved an entire kingdom from King Tairaga 50 years ago, the story that Kama was famous for, but apparently Kama thought that poop stories would be a better idea. He began to tell his story before anyone answered his question
"So there was this stupid kid named Galax who I used to adventure with and he thought it was funny to draw mustaches on my face while I was trying to sleep. I tried to beat the shit out of him but everyone would stop me whenever I tried, so I told him that shit would be all over his face the next time he tries to put shit on my face. Galax laughed and said 'go ahead and try red head' and he thought he was clever by hiding all of the drawing stuff at night. What the stupid kid didn't know is that I'd put literal shit on his face. I got piss drunk, stood on his arms and passed gas all over the damn little runt and he tried to punch my butt to get revenge. YOU SHOULD'VE SEEN THE LOOK ON HIS FACE HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Some elf girl tried to make sure that I couldn't get back into his room at night ever again but it was totally worth it. Don't worry you guys it was just gas it wasn't solid poop or anything. You're not gonna face my farty wrath unless you pull stupid pranks on me. Hahaha! Those were good times. So who's next? Anyone else got a story?"

Mimisko took all the information in.
"Oh man, this was a time for a rude awakening...but.. I'm alright with Rylan staying. He doesn't seem too bad."
Mimisko give a thumbs up to symbolize that it's okay for Rylan to stay in Shadow Slayers.
Luckily, things got back to normal. She was...trying to get used the story Karma was telling. And then...
Mimisko got excited and had a HUGE smile on her face. She has be meaning to tell this story for a LONG time! It's a story her mother told her when she was young.
"I got one~! It's something my mother told me. It's a year's old story. I remember my mother telling me this story when I was ten!"
Mimisko took a deep breaath
"It's about this king named 'Odesion'...who stole his money.."
For the sake of the readers, this story is cut short the way Mimisko is telling it. The rest in the campfire will hear the story though.
((It's basically the story of Penalty All About. Except, it has more of an medieval feel to it, the swearing is SUPER toned down, AND, the ending is Odesion getting a humongous bitch slap.))
Mimisko has finished the story. She said in a cheerful voice
"The moral of the story is do not steal money from family members without their perission because you never know what will happen. Anymore story everyone wants to share"
...Mimisko is nervous about what everyone will say about the story though.

Thankfully, the confrontation died down between Rylan and Kama, but it was no surprise that he decided it was a good idea to get angry about everything. After all, this was the same guy who insisted he was fine after his leg was burned off by acid and didn't accept anything in his bag. But seeing Rylan in slightly better spirits was a welcome change from the angst ridden man he first met.
Shivers ran down his spine from the cold, remembering that he didn't pack any blankets for this trip. But after hearing the story Mimisko told, an idea came to his head to top her story, warming up with an experience he had in a black market 6 months prior. But first...
“Hey Kama, pass me some of that alcohol you got!” He shouted over to Kama, both trying to illicit a response from him and everyone else considering his size. Many of his stories required getting piss-ass drunk to be able to tell properly anyways.

Pinky must have zoned out while staring at the campfire. Loud voices snapped her out of it just in time to witness Rylan's little scene. Good thing that got sorted out - Pinky hated that kind of sappy nonsense. Especially when she didn't know either side of the story.
Kama's suggestion was a good one - if only the alcohol part of it. "Sparky!" Pinky called, summoning her firefly to her side. Sparky was more like a puppet than a pet most of the time, but every now and then Pinky gave the firefly free will. It made an interesting companion through the lonely months, though for this particular moment Pinky was only calling the beetle out of laziness.
"Get me something to drink." she ordered. The fly dipped into the armor-house and returned a second later with a jug of liquid. "And eat." the pixie added, prompting the bug to make another trip and then return with some kind of plant seed. Pinky took a big bite of the seed and chased it with a bold swig of whatever was in her jug. The spicy liquid warmed her up right away. She had perhaps a story or two worth sharing, but decided to wait through some of the others' first. This would also leave time for the drink to take effect.

Kama laughed as Mimisko told her story and replied "Hahahaha! That Odesion guy reminds me of when I was young, and that girl Moxanne is pretty badass. That's one hell of a story you've got there Mimisko."
He looked over to Osseus with a puzzled look on his face "Aren't you a little young to be drinking? Not that I care though. Knock yourself out short stuff." Kama wasn't very responsible when it came to children so he gave Osseus some alcohol even though he seems a bit young for it.

Rylan finished off the rum almost immediately after he received it. A chill ran up his spine, causing him to shake out his head and body. Rylan's hair completely covered his face, which he brushed away there after. He was really wishing he hadn't untied it earlier.
"Can I have some more, Kama?"
He laughed as stories began being passed around, enjoying both Kama and Mimisko's stories, and looked down at the floor. He hadn't really HAD any stories interesting like Mimisko's or funny like Kama's. Most of the stories he had were things from his past he'd rather not relive, nor would he want anybody to know about. Then, something popped into his head.
"Oh uh...I have a small story, if you don't mind me sharing it." This was rhetorical, as Rylan quickly continued, "Uh..so a while back, way before, well...all this, I was performing in this large theater, when this blubbering drunk came up on stage and sat down next to me at the piano! I hadn't the slightest idea what to do, so I kinda just let him sit there, since he wasn't really bothering me. Then the man puts his arm around me and says 'You know, kiddo. This piana yous playin. Iz pr-preey good! Oooooh...' and then he leaned over and hurled right into my lap! I immediately jumped up in response, and tripped backwards over the bench I'd been sitting on. Next thing I know, I'm in a hospital being treated for head trauma! Apparently the man had gotten offended that I tried leaving and kicked me a couple times in the side of the dome, haha. Those were some odd times..."
Rylan looked back towards the floor, hoping he had lightened the mood a bit after his earlier outburst.

The whole event concluded quicker than Manasa could comprehend it. As her guild members sat around the campfire and began to drink an tell tales as if the experience was far behind them, Manasa left the scene in search of some sort of relief. She needed to refresh herself and clear her mind.
Manasa traveled towards the small stream she had visited earlier and knelt down beside it. Placing her shaking hands in the it's cold, crystalline waters she took a moment to let the experience set in before cupping her hands an splashing it onto her face. She felt awoken, and while the pain in her gut and spirit still temained, with a few more splashes she was able to compose herself to the point she had returned to her normal demeanor- at least on the outside.
Manasa returned to the group, unsure of what to do of where she belonged. She sat down quietly next to Rylan in order to keep close attention to him in case anyobdy tried anything again.

Mimisko became less nervous about the story she told and smiled.
Before the world went to hell, whenever she told the story to anyone outside her family, people either responds with a "So, which magical mushroom you have eaten this time?" or "That's a dumb story. You're dumb."
This time is DEFINITELY a nice change from this usual reaction she usually get.
Mimisko listened to the story Rylan has told. She smiled.
"That seems like an interesting story, Rylan."

"I......I guess....I could stay..if that's okay with the rest of the guild...." The elderly man turned over to face his guild and tried to lighten the mood by shouting "So who's up for some rum, meat, and crazy campfire stories huh? I've got plenty of alcohol to go around! Let's get Rylan over here piss drunk HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Oxy let go of Rylan's hand and returned to his mother's side, snuggling up against her. She blinked when she heard Rylan's statement, quickly swiping at her eyes and pretending the tears had never happened. She watched him sit and Manasa join him. She'd have to wary of those two.. She wrapped her arm around Oxy when she heard Kama say something about 'crazy campfire stories'. Her eyes brightened as one came to mind. "I've got one," she called to the old man. "In my tribe when I was younger, we used to have this ridiculous ceremony every spring for a spirit called Cruu. Every year we'd gather up all these supplies from everyone's stash, usually just old spoiled food no one wanted in the first place, and lay them out at Cruu's alter. The place would stink for weeks, all this rotting fruit and meat everywhere. And we'd all have to go there every morning for a month and sing and dance around this pile of trash. Well, finally, after having passed this tradition down for generations, out shamen came out of the chapel one morning, looking really embarrassed. We asked him what happened, and he didn't speak, just went over to the altar and started cleaning it up. It took him days to finally tell us. Cruu, the spirit we worshiped, was less than happy with what we'd been doing. Apparently, years ago, one of our ancestors had been so pissed at Cruu that they dumped all their spoiled food on his altar. To try and play it off, he claimed Cruu wanted this to happen, and Cruu can only communicate with us every century or so, so he had to wait that long to finally tell us to cut it the hell out." Celty laughed and hugged Oxy closer. "We'd been dumping shit and dancing around this thing for almost eighty years, and this spirit was pissing himself every time."

“Make sure I don't die, ok guys?” Osseus joked to Ooro and Altheron before taking the bottle and downing a significant portion of alcohol for his size. Immediately, the effects seeped in to his blood stream, making him feel light headed and disgusting. He coughed and gagged at the taste, in his head vowing to never drink the stuff again after this campfire.
“Ya know, people'll pay big money for this stuff on the black market, I've seen it,” He stumbled on his words a bit, but then decided to go on to tell the story he was waiting for to warm up to the crazier things he was involved in.
“So this one time at this market I was at 6 months ago or so, I was trying to pawn off some stuff, right? So I went over and brought over a shitload of alcohol and gold I stole off of a dead rich guy in order to get food and stuff. The sales people loved me for this, and essentially asked me to be their mascot for the place, So I did to get food and stuff, then this guy came over and told me I'd make more money on the slave trade while he was buying stuff. I kicked him in the balls and got fired, but they still love me,”
He laughed to himself, hoping his story was on par with everyone else's at this point. He may have exaggerated on them still loving him though.
