Spica put on a grin in response.
'I'm going to pretend I didn't hear what you said right now. Is that okay with you?' She shot a glare at the unidentifiable creature, and set her attention onto other things. She assumed it was meant as an insult, but she heard better talk from babies. Spica widened her eyes. This harpy had not even a clue as to what the Witches' Society was. How horrific.
Oh well, it was to be expected with this folk.
'If you must know the Witches' Society is a gathering of the most talented of all witches, including me of course. We witches live all across the land, so the society acts as a beacon that joins us all. Being the star pupil, I was nominated by the head himself to come here. And yes, you could say I am pretty good.'
She flicked her wand up and created a little display; sparks shot into the air and bursted into shimmering lights. 'That's not even half of what I can do.'
Spica never missed an opportunity to brag, even to the most clueless of souls.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Vera! The name's Freyja! Freyja Hlin. You should probably get acquainted with the rest of the group! We're all gonna be travelling together for a while!" She chuckled as she shook the woman's hand. The Ifreet's chipper attitude was odd, but she had to brush it off. "Ok." She nodded to the taller woman, barely interested in her advice. It was soon after she took a few paces away from the leader when a loud screech . She groaned under her breath as the noise assaulted her eardrums, opting not to get involved with the conflict and find someone else to talk to in accordance with the leader's orders. "Howdy!" Kyanalurin chimed, looking over at Vera. Another dragon thing? What are the chances.....
"Hi there, hello, yes, I'd like to talk to you!!" She waved excitedly to Vera, and headed over to her and extended her hand out to her. "I'm Kyanalurin~! Pleasure to meetcha!" Thank goodness someone could do it for me."Vera." She stated, using the same tone as she did with Freyja as she shook the smaller girl's hand. Kyana's attitude was cringe worthy at best, and she didn't want any part in whatever she was planning. She was backing up slightly before bumping into a smaller figure in a mask behind her. "Sorry." She calmly said. "Didn't see you." What an odd bunch of people... she thought.

Freyja had welcomed the masked figure with a hearty grin, and hadn't notice any hints of the somber attitude behind her supposedly happy demeanor. He hadn't heard what the witch spouted out just moments before, though judging by Freyja's bark back- something tells them she might have deserved it.
"Tyr, you say?" Robin leaned in slightly to take a closer peek at the surface of her arms. It was obviously they were still marveling at the complex workings of such contraptions and were intrigued. The rumored bounty hunter had a brother this skilled as well? They must have been a family with a legacy behind them. If only they could just ask him a favor somehow...
Yeesh. Not up for a smooth introduction, it seemed. There wasn't even a scrap of care for who little-brimmed-hat had just spoken to. Robin wasn't particularly impressed by her body count, but more by her physical appearance itself. They hadn't expected their arms to be such a piece of ingenious work, though they supposed it made sense being the pure firepower rumored that this woman could dish out in a single battle. Even if the missy hadn't cared for introductions, they were most likely were going to have to function as a team. Truthfully, they weren't fond of the idea much either, but they had to be a teeny bit open. Before Robin could interject any possible retaliation, Freyja had already served up a slew of insults, and they were harsh. If this woman fought as well as she remarked, they definitely had the upper hand. The figure let out a small, sharp whistle under their mask, "I cannot. Nice one."
Robin's head flicked up in response. This hadn't been the first time they were called that, so it began to become somewhat of a reflex to respond. As they glanced forward, their gaze was obstructed when a nearby recruit had bumped backwards into them. Yet, it would appear they were easily taken off balance, and Robin stumbled back before ultimately tripping over their own feet. They fell back, but not hard luckily. However, Robin stopped to stare back at their feet momentarily, before slowly... getting... back... up.
It took a bit longer than it probably should have, really.
Their muffled voice let out, "It's fine." She apologized, so surely it wasn't something to dwell on even if it was a bit of an inconvenience. "Just watch where you step," they brushed themselves off, before their mask turned to face the couple. A slight gasp let out under the wheels of their brain turned to realize a dragonborn had been the one to cross their path. They've heard about them sure... but in all honesty have never laid their eyes on one. Not too far away had been a human girl, who appeared to be the one who called them in the first place.
"Uh, hi," they offered a faint wave back, "I'm Robin. You two are...?" The mask cocked its head to the side slightly, and was a bit unnerving being one had trouble seeing just exactly what they were staring at through their lenses. They took turns fixating their gaze on each of the figures, inspecting them as they did so.

God, she was beginning to annoy herself.

Pumilus moved away from him and Uldrx's nostril's flared when he saw the form leaning over. "Oh, you are falling." He stated, reaching out towards Pumilus and putting an arm in front of him. "You may continue to fall. I will catch you now." Pumilus straightened his posture once again. "I was not falling. I was showing my respect. You don't need to catch me." "And Pumi was it? Nice to meet ya both!" "I'll have to pick your brain about the water works later, my mom was starting to look into hydraulic engines versus the electric and wind powered ones before we lost funding, the government really seems to be into weaponry now-a-days!" she prattled on needlessly, her grin shaking a little bit. Pumilus was not amused by the shortening of his name, neither was he interested in the girl's talk about her family, but the weaponry talk was something he had thoughts on. "It's a pity that mass production of weaponry is preferred over more helpful things." 'If you must know the Witches' Society is a gathering of the most talented of all witches, including me of course. We witches live all across the land, so the society acts as a beacon that joins us all. Being the star pupil, I was nominated by the head himself to come here. Spica never missed an opportunity to brag, even to the most clueless of souls. Pumilus did not care at all about the witch girl's bragging. When watching the sparks, he barely batted an eye in intrigue. He remembered the Avenaudi next to him may not know what was happening with the girl's actions. "Uldrix. That girl is displaying a small amount of power in the form of shining lights."

They took turns fixating their gaze on each of the figures, inspecting them as they did so. "Vera," She stated again, getting tired of repeating the same word over and over. "Nice to meet you, Robin." Thinking of a conversation was a daunting task, as the closest thing of interest she could think of was her culture, considering hints of bewilderment in Robin's facial positioning. Before she could explain herself, or wait for a conversation topic to arise, a large burst of light shot up into the air. Who would shoot fireworks out in the daytime!? The display of lights were incredibly confusing, but it barely showed in her face as she attempted to figure it out. "Nice," she remarked, staring up at the display to the people around her.

"It's a pity that mass production of weaponry is preferred over more helpful things." Her eyes shimmered a bit as he spoke, nodding quickly in agreement. "Yeah! Agriculature and irrigation developments really aren't in high demand anymore because of the war. It stinks, right?" She pointed at the sunflower on his armor before giving a thumbs up with one of her mechanical arms, looking back to Spica as a burst of light entered her vision. 'If you must know the Witches' Society is a gathering of the most talented of all witches, including me of course. Rory watched curiously as the shower of sparks shimmered in the air, tilting her head, her face more amused than impressed. "Nice fireworks, kiddo!" she grinned as the sparkles faded from view, patting her on the back with her wing. "I can't wait to see what a star pupil can do in battle!" She hummed and looked around the group that had grown in size since she last checked, gasping as she noticed a new winged person enter the fray. She looked like some sort of dragon, but the harpy couldn't help but fixate on their shared characteristics. Bouncing on her toes a bit, she waddled over to the other winged person with a big grin on her face, sticking one of her own wings out. She already felt a bizarre, imagined sense of camaraderie between them. "Hey!" she greeted upon approach. "I'm Rory! I heard your name was Vera, right??" She unabashedly looked her over, noticing the talons on her feet and the scales on her cheeks. "You're like a scale-y harpy, and your wings are lovely!" she chirped.

"Vera," they nodded at the name, it was simple enough. However...
"Kyah-nah-lureen... Thunders...fire?" They brought one hand to their chin as they tried to repeat the syllables. The name occurred rather confusing, and pronouncing it proved to be a challenge as they weren't sure if they even heard it correctly through their hood. "Kylanna? Could you repeat that?" Their attention was focused on the girl's name that they hadn't notice the witch in conversation with the group nearby, and when the sparks crackled Robin had become a bit startled, even going so far as to draw their guns from their side and prepare to fire, before ultimately realizing it was all for naught. The lights glimmered and dazzled, their sparks radiating beautifully before dissipating. It appeared to be just a harmless display, if anything. "O-oh," they cleared their throat, before resting their weapons back in their respective slots. "My bad," they gave a slight bow of the head.
Among the group that chattered and chimed to themselves were a harpy, a munchkin, and an Avenaudi. Though no one could see it, Robin's eyes widened at the spectacle. They hadn't seen this race in the flesh either, but they did hear about them and were highly intrigued by the rumors of their beautiful singing capabilities. Just once, would Robin love to hear it for themself. Either way, besides Freyja, this was the only recruit that had caught their attention so quickly. They wanted to stray over and see if somehow, there was a way coax them into singing their melody. Yet they were aware that these creatures were also very different- to say the least. When it came to communication, could Robin even hold a conversation with them?
Well, either way, the Avenaudi appeared preoccupied. Maybe there would be another chance to speak with them. As they turned around, they were face to face with, uh, Kylanna again. "So yeah, could you repeat your name? What brings you here anyways?" The girl wore a gauntlet on her left arm, and was a bit short compared to their own stature. Not by too much, yet it was a bit nice considering they often a bit short compared to others.

You can just call me Kyana~!" she said, still smiling at the other. Hmph...I didn't think it was THAT hard to pronounce.
"Or kylanna...or whatever you want! I dont mind at all!" the girl chirped.

Pumilus straightened his posture once again. "I was not falling. I was showing my respect. You don't need to catch me." "...Oh." Uldrix proceeded to lower his arm, looking between the witch and Pumilus. He started to back up slowly from the two, a murmur of light pink escaping his lips as tried to leave the embarrassing conversation. Oh no. He was being addressed again. He couldn't possibly escape now. He stood completely still and stared at the witches hands with wide eyes. They had let out a small spark of sound when being produced, so he had witnessed it, but he had no idea what the ability behind it could be. He shook a little, swiped at his face again, and then proceeded to lay down on ground, legs in the air. "I am sleeping." He said loudly, his eyes clearly open. He covered his face with his talons but continued to stare through. "Do not look at me. I'm sleeping." He whispered it this time.

"Is this helpful?" Sparrow asked, clumsily folding two sleeves in as to mimic the woman before him. He flopped the shirt in half and then looked over at her much neater work and blinked. "You're doing a good job Sparrow, thank you for helping me with the morning laundry," Adrorea Thimblewick responded, unfazed by the Glimmer's messy handiwork. She had taken in the young traveler the night before; not wanting him to roam the city street at night when his innocence could be taken advantage of, and from the moment he had entered her house he had seen to helping in any way possible. "I did good," the Glimmer smiled. He picked up pace, messily folding shirts twice as fast as before. He looked back up to observe Adorea's reaction. Adorea let out a laugh. "With you around this are so lively! You're almost like the son I never had." "Son...? If I give you a son will I do good?" Sparrow blinked. Adorea's husband Walter, who had been groggily sipping at his morning coffee nearly choked on it as Sparrow's question escaped his mouth, he looked at the Glimmer wide eyed, no longer in his half asleep state. He slammed the cup down and hacked for air, causing confusion from his guest. "Some things just weren't meant to be, I suppose," Adorea responded as she quickly handed her husband a handkerchief, to which he was thankful. "It's okay, You've already helped us out so much, Sparrow. You're a very good Glimmer." The woman's praise elected a huge smile from Sparrow, his eyes lit up he was so happy. "Last night you said you had something you wanted to do at the castle, right?" "Yes! I need to go to the castle so I can do more good!" Sparrow rose to his feet, practically bouncing. Yesterday, when her had first entered the city he had come into possession of a flyer with big bold letters on. While much of it confused him, it was clear to Sparrow that going to the castle would lead to coming into possession of more lodestones, and by doing that he would be able to help more people. His mission was clear. Adorea smiled at Sparrow's enthusiasm and walked off into a back room, only to quickly return a few moments later with a small pouch which she presented to the Glimmer. "Here, I want you to have this. It has some things inside it that can you can use to help people as well as..." the woman paused, looking out the window at the sea of birdseed in her yard and the swarm of happy little birds pecking at it, "well, I put in as much birdseed as I could, but make sure you don't use it all at once, okay?" Sparrow nodded, slipping the pouch on and swaying a bit to listen to the little gems on it tinkle as he did so. He smiled at the sound his new friends made. "I will now go to the castle so the I may do good," the Glimmer said, waving to the woman and her husband who waved back as he left. Sparrow pulled out the flier he had previously acquired and walked through the busy capitol streets, taking his time to stop and help as man people as he could see needed it on his way. The trek to the Castle seemed simple, as it was the tallest building in the city. But upon getting there the Glimmer found he had trouble finding the entrance. Sparrow began to walk along the castle walls, as he did so he pulled a tiny handful of birdseed out and managed to get a bluebird to land in his palm and stay there. By the time it took to get to where the entrance was he had managed to not only befriend the bird, but learned to mimic it's song by whistling much to his joy. Sparrow approached the people standing at the entrance, he new friend flying away as he did so. "Hello," He said, "Is this the castle? Am I right?" he asked, clutching his flyer. Name: Sparrow Age: Three Months Personality: Helpful and naive. He was thrusted into the world with the sole objective of helping people, and thus is driven by this objective. He has very basic knowledge, such as the ability to speak and what common object are but others than that many things are unknown to him. He is extremely fond of birds. Fighting Capabilities: When he was born he was given a glass lodestone, which are in abundance in the Glimmer Void. He was told his lodestone was the key to helping people, and see it not as a tool of war, but as something meant to protect those around him. He uses his stone to create walls, barriers, and even common tools that passerbys need from him rather than weapons or illusions. As a Glimmer he has no heart rate, no need to breath and no need for food. Sparrow's body consists of three parts; a light core, sand-like crushed crystal and hard crystal. His life force is what holds everything together. However, if his crystal body is damaged to the point that all the light within him escapes he will parish without fulfilling his life's goal and his soul will never be reincarnated. The Glimmer Void, located west of the capitol. Backstory: Sparrow belongs to a peculiar race referred to as Glimmers. Glimmers are fairly common throughout the world, though people have varying reactions to them. Glimmers are born from reincarnated souls of those who have done terrible deeds during their lives, though the only things they keep from that life is their gender and name. Glimmers have no way of recalling their previous life or even what they did to become a Glimmer. Their mission during their time as a Glimmer is to do enough good to ofset the bad that their previous life did. Some Glimmers live for several months while others have been alive for hundreds of years depends on their previous sins and how dedicated they are to their mission. Once a Glimmer has achieved their mission they go through the process of reincarnation once more, getting a second chance at life and more importantly; a chance at a good afterlife. Some people hold resentment towards Glimmers because they feel that a soul will always be inherently evil, while others take pity on them. Regardless, many Glimmers are met with scorn at least once throughout their life time if not constantly chased by it. Additional Info: His bag carries the following; bird seed, a canteen of water (though he doesn't drink water), a healing salve (though it has no use on him), a shiny stone, and a robin's feather. Physical Appearance: He stands at 4'10. His 'hair' and cape are made of pure light.

"Kyana? That's a bit easier for me," they nodded, pointing to the girl's gauntlet, "Mind explaining that to me? I'm guessing you use a lodestone for it, what kind?" Robin kept hammering the girl with questions, and while they didn't seem like they were trying to be rude, they weren't really paying attention to whether or not their questions were appropriate either for a first meeting. "I use electricity," they patted their utility belt before motioning to the holsters at each side.
Before giving her time to answer, Robin pointed their thumb behind them, "Do you know any of them?" Once again, they were topic hopping. They weren't very adept at handling a conversation, it would appear.

"You're like a scale-y harpy, and your wings are lovely!" she chirped. The winged creature startled her as she seemed to crash down, dead set on interacting with her. She composed herself quickly as the girl introduced herself to her, eyeing her talons and scales. "Wyvern Draconid," She corrected. "I don't know anything about harpies, so I can't compare them." She lifted her arm, exposing a large, shining wing underneath. It was a little embarrassing, especially since she could only extend her arm 90 degrees from her torso, but humoring her seemed to be the ideal situation at the moment. If the harpy girl started to ramble, however, all she could really do was nod and give one word responses, keeping a poker face. Situations like these were the worst.

"To answer your first question, this actually isn't for my lodestone, it's a plasma gauntlet that shoots bolts of plasma!" she mock aimed it at a tree. "Pew pew!" She wasnt actually going to shoot, as it only has two chargest per day. "Buuuut, I do use an electriciry Lodestone as well!" She turned around to face the other people. "Nnnnope! But they all seem REALLY cool! We should talk to them some time~!" she said enthusiastically.

Spica laughed, getting the reaction she was looking for.
'Oh it's more than just fireworks. And the name's Spica!' she barked at Rory as the harpy skittered away. 'And what gives her the right to touch me?' She patted off the afflicted area, hoping no stray feather caught on.
'Whatever are you doing?' Spica furrowed her brow at the spectacle. This creature's actions and words were an enigma to her. Nevertheless, she wouldn't let him get the upper hand; what she believed he was doing.
'You see I never quite got your name.' She stepped closer and stared straight at him. 'Since you're lying on your back, I might mistake you for a dog. Is your name Fido or Spike, by any chance?'
'You know I think the name Fido quite suits you.'
