Confused by the stone walls loudly erupting from the ground, Uldrix didn't see Freyja coming at all. The blow to his head caused his hearing to 'ring', everything vibrating and duplicating so he couldn't see straight. He backed away from Freyja, screeching repeatedly as he tried to grasp his surroundings. Once he had managed to somewhat regain his sight, he saw that it was their leader that had struck him. He had failed. He hadn't been merciful in the slightest. His vision still wavering slightly, he tried to stand shakily but just collapsed down again, staying on all fours. "I...but she had..." He didn't know what to do now. Was he out? Would they execute him now? How did this culture operate? Without a sound, he laid down on the ground and closed his eyes tightly, effectively blocking out everything. Only touch or smell could disturb him now. He wanted to be alone. Today had been overwhelming. Freyja breathed a sigh of relief as the Avenaudi laid down, seemingly calmed after her fist came down on him. She turned to Rey, a very serious look on her face. "You NEVER spit on an Avenaudi. EVER." She said sternly. "He marked you as his prey, and for you to spit back at him...he likely took at as you calling him your prey." She looked back at Uldrix, a bit of sympathy in her eyes. It was likely that he didn't know what was going on, or why she was forced to do that. She looked back towards Rey, her expression softened. "Uh...I'll spar with you in a bit, if you want. Right now, I need to have a word with Uldrix." She walked over to Uldrix and knelt next to him, waiting for him to open his eyes once more.

Uldrix calmed down after a few minutes of being still before slowly opening his eyes, half hoping everyone would magically be gone and he would be alone again so he could go back to his territory. But that was not the case; Freyja was still in front of him. He covered his face with talons like he had previously back with Pumilus and Spica. "I am sleeping." He whispered weakly. "Go away."

Sparring is like...fighting without trying to kill each other. I'm sure Rey didn't MEAN to insult you like that. Human and Avenaudi cultures are incredibly different. To spit on a person is to disrespect them...not mark them as prey. She took you spitting on her as an insult." Freyja scratched the back of her head, not sure if Uldrix would understand. "Just....don't mark people in this group as prey. We are all supposed to fight together...like a pack." She wasn't sure what a group of Avenaudi were called, so she went with pack as it was the closest thing she could think of to a team. "I know this probably all new to you, so I'll try and ease you into this culture, alright?"

Rory swallowed and nodded, focusing more mana into her metal lodestone and morphing the two large arms into her spear and sword, bending her knees before taking off into the air after her, intending to strike at Vera from underneath with a slash of the blade. Just as planned... in a sense, that is. The girl took the bait and flew upward, but she seemed to have another trick up her sleeve. The blades would pose a pretty nasty threat, but if she were to get past them... Then again, Vera's flying stance was strange. Instead of having to constantly flap her wings, she seemed to float, like her wings were useless. Living in caves really seemed to weaken her species' ability to fly: the stone was a necessity to retain that function. Vera readied her leg to crash straight into the girl's skull, or at least scrape her scalp to the point where she could go in for the 'kill' if she was distracted by the pain. She readied the claws on her hand in case that would work, to maul the girl. Then again, it was nothing personal: just a sparring match.

Her attack had yet again missed however Spica did not explode into a rage. Instead she saw how close she had come to taking someone else's life. And in that case that made her powerful. 'It's a good thing we're only sparring, aren't we? Let that be a taster session of what my enemies shall receive.' Her head pounded and she'd certainly need a good concotion of herbs and a good sleep, but Spica wanted to revel in her self acclaimed victory. If Alanis wanted to fight back, she'd let her do her childs play.

He repeated what she told him in a whisper to take notes for future interactions, "Do not spit on...team mates." He flicked out his tongue and nodded gratefully at Freyja's promise to help him understand these strange creatures better. "I tried to be merciful..." He looked down at the ground before swiping angrily at his face, leaving another gash along his cheek below the one he had inflicted earlier. "Do we not...get along?" He asked, the we referring to Avenaudi and humans. He had not interacted with the later and had only seen them in passing while guarding his territory. But even laying quietly with Freyja still set his nerves on edge unlike the conversations with Pumilus and Robin.

She readied the claws on her hand in case that would work, to maul the girl. Rory sliced up towards the draconid, leaving herself open for the draconid's attack to connect. A yelp escaped her mouth as Vera's claws dragged across her scalp, the harpy squeezing her eyes shut and blindly thrusting the spear upwards in the direction of her opponent before quickly dropping altitude, letting the weight of the metal weapons carry her back down to the ground quickly. The pain hadn't fully sunk in until she felt a warm dribble of liquid run across the middle of her face, her hesitation fading as the stinging sensations intensified. The dragon lady flew far differently than she did, in a way that didn't seem to require her to flap her wings or use any kind of physical energy. Rory frowned and held her position on the ground, spear and blade poised to strike at her swooping opponent. However, she intended to morph the spear back into the fist to snatch her out of the air and slam her into the ground when she got close enough. She didn't like fighting airborne.

You can be the difference! I'm sure if the cultures just better understood one another, then perhaps we could get along better." Freyja picked herself up off the ground, looking down at Uldrix. "I have to keep an eye on everyone and make sure none of them get into any more trouble. You can sit out the sparring match now. I only needed to get an idea of what your fighting abilities are." Freyja walked away from Uldrix, back to where she had previously been standing and watched as the group continued their sparring matches. She was becoming eager to see just how these battles would turn out. It appeared as though the battle between Alanis and Spica was over, given Spica's boasting. Although, that didn't necessarily mean she won, given she thinks so highly of herself. "I wouldn't be gloating, Spica. Given your opponent was weak and you had to use so much mana just to handle them. When are you gonna 'make it clear to me' how wrong I was about you? Cuz given your fighting abilities, I'd say I was 100% right!" She chuckled.

Her lips curled up slightly to form a smirk, her eyes catching the warm ooze of blood tricking down her forehead as she plummeted towards the ground. She readied herself at the harpy's attempt to strike again, holding out her claws to pry that stupid backpack off and gain the upper hand once and for all. Only this time, her plans weren't as successful. The fist slammed her out of the air and knocked her to the ground, the impact leaving her sputtering for breath for a few moments. She immediately got up to fly again, the fatigue only letting her float up about 5 or so feet instead of the original projected height. She was easily reachable at this point, but the sky was still her playground. She readied her claws in case the harpy came closer, to get her in a chokehold. "Sorry," she apologized, a little disappointed at herself at how brutal she was. "Nothing personal,"

Uldrix watched Freyja leave and decided he would stay laying in place where he was, far enough away from the fights where their attacks wouldn't startle him as much. He lowered his head to the ground and watched the waves of the different attacks, keeping an eye on those who he hadn't talked with yet to try and learn at least something about them. He noted, to his dismay that many of them were also humans. Thinking back to Freyja's words, it felt like there was more than just not 'getting along'. To the point where it sent dread into his system just to recognize something as human. He let out a sigh that sounded more similar to a multi-toned rumbling and licked at the scratches on his face with his tongue. Avenaudi culture...human culture...everything was just a giant question mark. Things were much more simple near the desert back home.

Pumilus watched the glimmer's confusion and problem-solving abilities silently. When he began moving once again, but faster, Pumilus decided it was time for him to move faster as well. He ran from his spot in order to make sure he was not in the cube's way, for surely it would crush him, and brought some more water from his surroundings. He manipulated the water to appear in front of Sparrow to distract him. With the water, he formed a birdlike shape for he witnessed earlier Sparrow's love for birds. Behind Sparrow, there was another ball of water that then covered one of the cube's sides that Sparrow would soon walk across. Pumilus froze the water in place, and at the same time the bird distraction became a regular ball of water once more. Pumilus, wary of using too much mana, let it fall to the ground. The Glimmer was successfully distracted by the bird that Pumilus had created. His eyes widened as he marveled at it curiously, but just as he reached out to touch it it lost it's shape. Sparrow shook his head, realizing he had been had, and locked onto the small automaton once more. He step towards the direction he wanted to go and... Sparrow's crystalline feet provided very little traction against the glass cube's now frozen surface. He slipped, body now off balance and plummeting off onto the ground, landing with an audible thump but appearing completely unharmed. "I do not understand, tricking people is not good," The Glimmer said, hurt by Pumilus' actions. The cube beside him then shattered.

That cube was very inconvenient for me." Pumilus responded after wincing inwardly at the sound Sparrow made when hitting the ground. He hoped it hadn't actually hurt, and he couldn't remember from what he read about glimmers whether they had a high tolerance for pain or not. "Please get up if you can, and attack me this time. I cannot 'do good' by our leader if you do not 'do good' by attacking me and showing her what you can do."

Illia looked down at the smaller girl. " Hmph" she said. " That girl talks alot" she thought. She decited to not say a word. After all, that girl was a human. What if she was like the others? She didnt want to risk it. She remained silent until Freja yelled at them. Illia stayed in possition. " Just to let you know, young girl, I have no intetions to hurt you. However, since our orders are to train, i shall follow them. However, just to let you know, i will not go easy on you cause your young age. I wish you the best of luck" she said to Monaiya. Illia put two of her spider legs in frond of hershelf as a shield to block the wind ball. However, it managed to hit her, pushing her a few meters away. Luckily she was able to mantain her balance. If she fell, it would be hard for her to get up again, meaning that the training session could be over. Illia's two front legs began to charge an attack towards Monaiya. Once it was fully charged, she moved with a really high speed, trying to hit the young girl with electricity coming from her electric spider legs

Monaiya jumps into the air to dodge the attack. With the wind powers she was able to jump really high. "Oh heyyyyyy, I'm able to dodge to electricity of that time and space." Monaiya smirked a bit. "Now it's my turn. Take this!" Monainya summon two more wind balls and thrust them at Illia. Though right after she did that, her face hit the ground "HURPHFB" Monaiya did got up and gave a thumbs up. She is lucky enough that her forehead is bleeding "Man, I will not give up. I will be a professional!... Someday."
