The titan opened its empty hand and from it shot a blizzard of crystals. Once it finished its initial attack, the titan rushed in to pummel Alanis with a spiked fist. From on top Spica spun her wand around, now primarily using the glass lodestone. She encased Alanis and herself all in a barrier; leaving for little escape. The wind blowing on Spica grew stronger and stronger while she was busy summoning the titan. After the monstrosity was finished, the gust suddenly changed direction and aimed toward Alanis instead. "What the -?!" Alanis was caught off guard by the powerful wind combined with the sight of the unusual technique before her. Just as the titan rained down crystals, a flash of blood red sailed across the wind stream and right into Alanis, carrying her several feet back from the behemoth where she was safe from both the lunge and the glass barrier. The heiress struggled to catch her balance as she suddenly stopped moving, with little idea as to what she had just done. "Y-yeah, take that!" she remarked, having managed to avoid all three attacks... somehow. The wind was depleted once these actions were finished, and soon a new wind began to pick up from behind Alanis, blowing toward Spica and her mount.

The Glimmer's face turned sour. He looked over at Freyja, still unsure what she wanted of him or exactly why she asked the recruits to fight. Pumilus had asked him to attack, but that went against everything he knew. Surely there was another way... Sparrow drew his hands down once more, except this time when he pulled them up his body rose along with them. Under Sparrow's feet a five foot tall glass cube formed. He took half a step back, the cube beginning to tumble back along with his pace. Sparrow stumble forward again, steadying himself on the cube before it tumbled all the way onto it's other side. His arms then rose, eyes locked on Pumilus as he took a pace forward. The cube turned all the way onto it's other side, moving the Glimmer forward and shattering the barrier he had made previously. Pumilus looked on in a mix of confusion and his normal deadpan. What exactly was Sparrow doing? He had no idea what to expect, he realized. He sidestepped a few times to get out of the cube's general direction, and was now diagonal to a corner of it. He then rose his right arm, and the water droplets in the ground under Sparrow and the cube froze to ice. He hoped that would make whatever Sparrow was doing more difficult. He said nothing this time around, and began to take a few more steps back.

Spica was fuming, yet reined in her temper for the time being.
'How about you stop dodging for once and attack?!' The titan placed Spica on its shoulder and then slammed two fists onto the ground. From there it transmuted part of its body into the earth. This would be of great use later on.
Still using the glass lodestone, Spica then created an illusion. She reckoned her pompous opponent would buy into it, only if it was for an instant. In a blink of an eye, now two titans stood.
'Let's make it 2 v 1!' both the copy and Spica said.
The copy and the original raised its fists to make a large swing in synchronisation. When the moment arrived, Spica would activate the real attack.

Freyja let out an audible yawn as she watched Alanis and Spica fight. "Are you still holding back, you two? I thought I said go all out!" She shouted. There was one thing that caught her attention, however. A lot of wind had gathered around Alanis and Spica. Were one of them using a wind lodestone too..? Seemed unlikely, due to the amount of mana that would require, and given the two were clearly too undisciplined to handle that kind of mana exertion. She turned towards Pumilus and Sparrow to see Sparrow....walking.....on..a cube..? Freyja stared on in confusion, not entirely sure what he was trying to accomplish with that. Vera and Rory, however, seemed much more interesting battle wise. Vera was already up in the air, and the two seemed to really be getting into the thick of it. Monaiya and Ilia seemed to be exchanging words, not fists, which brought a scowl to Freyja's face.
"Monaiya! Ilia! This is no time to chat! SPAR! You'll have time to talk later!!" She yelled, angrily. She then turned her attention to the last fight, Rey and Uldrix, and quickly realized the mistake she'd made. Uldrix wasn't intending to fight, he was intending to kill. Freyja froze, panic beginning to set in. Rey was a kid, and Freyja wouldn't be able to live with herself if she let Rey die due to her own idiocy. All of Freyja's attention was turned to this battle now, the bounty hunter slowly locking her Earth Lodestone into place, just in case this turned ugly. She waited to see how Rey would handle herself in this battle, not wanting to jump in unless absolutely necessary.

He had never encountered ice or snow before, so for all he knew the substance on the ground was just another kind of glass. Frustrated with his lack of momentum, Sparrow attempted to manipulate the 'glass' holding him in place, only to find he had no control over it. If he couldn't ask it to leave he would just have to break free, though he much preferred the previous method. The cube he was standing on seemed to shrink down a foot until suddenly glass spikes shot out of the base, breaking him free. The cube reformed to it's previous state and Sparrow began moving once more, this time a a quicker pace.

This time Alanis dodged on her own, without the help of whatever wind or blood power she was apparently using. Ordinarily she wasn't good at dodging, but in this case there was such a distance between them from her last move that she had plenty of time to figure out a reaction. The noble clumsily skipped to her right where she was safe.
While Alanis was dodging to the side (and hopefully drawing Spica's attention) the wind that had started blowing on the gem titans picked up slightly. It didn't have as much prep time as before, but the same blur of blood red zipped through the current of air right between the two crystal beasts. As the flash of red passed, it made an attack on the legs of both crystals. This was an incredibly weak attack akin to a light jab, so it would do no damage to the crystalline goliath. It seemed to be a test blow to determine if both of them were real, and so long as it was uninterrupted, it'd tell all that needed to be known.

"Heheh, sorry, sorry! Guess my past troubles kept me brain dead!" Monaiya turns to Ilia. "Guess I can wait for much longer, Can I?" Just then and light but somewhat strong windball appear in her hand. " Okay, this girl still has not said a word to me.. I hope my families history with the lodestones aren't too well known. That would really suck...." Monaiya took a deep breath okay. "Okay, sorry if you're not ready but let's begin!" She shoots the windball at her (( Penguin ))

When he began moving once again, but faster, Pumilus decided it was time for him to move faster as well. He ran from his spot in order to make sure he was not in the cube's way, for surely it would crush him, and brought some more water from his surroundings. He manipulated the water to appear in front of Sparrow to distract him. With the water, he formed a birdlike shape for he witnessed earlier Sparrow's love for birds. Behind Sparrow, there was another ball of water that then covered one of the cube's sides that Sparrow would soon walk across. Pumilus froze the water in place, and at the same time the bird distraction became a regular ball of water once more. Pumilus, wary of using too much mana, let it fall to the ground.

This was it.
She noticed that there was a nick on the titan's legs, though it was of no concern. She had anticipated for Alanis to make this move from the beginning. The illusion then dissipated; she no longer having any use for it. Spica thrusted her wand sky high, and on her command a crystal sprouted from beneath Alanis. She was slightly nauseous from all these multiple attacks, though had no intention of backing down, since a particular old woman wasn't satisfied with their sparring.
To follow up, she launched two more consecutive attacks, knowing her opponent would make another escape.

Alanis was startled a half-step backward by the first crystal, and immediately froze up, staring dumbfounded at the pylon that had almost impaled her. She didn't anticipate other attacks so soon, and made no move to avoid them. In fact, she almost fell over backward before the second crystal shot up and caught her. Since Alanis did not move, the first crystal was in the way of the second, and the girth of the bottom ends meant that they couldn't attack too closely to each other. The third crystal pike shot up beside the other two, leaving Alanis to stumble out through the spires, having avoided certain death through sheer lack of skill. ((Here's a quick sketchup of what I'm talkin about. Got kinda confusing when I put it into words. lol ))

In a split second, the beast stood right in front of her, just inches from her face. She managed to stifle her alarm just a bit, turning what would have been her jumping backwards and falling on her ass into a slight jolt. He was fast. She had to take note of that for later, but now.... Now he was threatening her. Drooled on her, even. The nerve of that short-stack. "B a c k d o w n." He said in a voice that seemed different from previous interactions. He was unmoving, a statue in front of the woman. Rey winced at the creature's demands. Was he actually trying to psych her out? Sure, he was fast, but just because he looks creepy doesn't mean he's strong, right? Yeah, that must have been it. Unimpressed and unfazed by Uldrix's lame attempt at getting her to back off, Rey stamped her foot into the ground before headbutting the lizard-man. She wasn't gonna punk out. She was gonna prove herself. "Lissen here, freak." she spat out, her nose pressed against Uldrix's. "Ah ain't backin' down fuh nuthin. Ah ain't afraid of yoo...." She brought her head back up until she was about and inch away from his ugly face and spat in it, just like he had did to her, to emphasize her point. Then, using her Stone Lodestone, she propelled herself back a few yards-this time, intentionally- with one stray block of earth. She landed on her feet in a slight crouch, and brought her head up slowly to face her opponent. "We gon' fight!" Now that she was a good enough distance away from the thing, she ripped two large boulders from the ground and aimed them straight at Uldrix, unearthing a slab beneath her in case she needed to move quick any time soon.

The woman's saliva rolled down his cheek and he flinched as she backed away from him rapidly, shocked this creature had dared to mark him as prey. He dropped back to all fours, huffing and spitting orange liquid everywhere in a fit of almost child like rage. She--! The nerve--!!He didn't have much more time than that before he saw the waves of something being moved up from the ground, leaving a light trail behind them as they shot in his direction. He released a build up of sound already stored away: much more than he needed to. The boulders crumbled to dust, and the precise and condensed wave of sound was still heading straight for what he had marked only moments before: Rey's cheek. If it hit, the top section of her head would be almost perfectly sliced in half from the force.

Freyja knew what Uldrix spit meant, Avenaudi wise, so to get spit back on couldn't have been good. Her worries were met as Uldrix shot a wave of sound so powerful it vaporized a boulder and was still heading toward Rey. Thinking quickly, Freyja raised several stone walls in front of Rey to try and weaken the sound attack. Once raised, she softened the dirt leading to Uldrix, wanting to make as little sound as possible. Given she had dealt with these creatures before, she couldn't afford to mess around. She began sprinting towards the Avenaudi, stepping as lightly as possible. When she was nearly upon him, she swung her iron fist as hard as she could towards the creature's head, not with the intention to kill, but to knock him away and merely take his attention off Rey.

She readied her stance and jumped up about 25-ish feet the air, looking for a good opportunity to swoop down and attack if she were to remain ground-bound. Either that, or she was prepared to strike her down with her legs if she attempted to fly up to her level. Rory winced a little bit as her punch connected with Vera, an audible gasp falling from her mouth as she felt the impact. Oh no oh no oh no! she widened her eyes, watching with a measure of relief as Vera quickly recovered and leapt into the air. Her heart was beating in her chest as she prepared herself for the dragon woman to swoop down at her, angling her stance towards Vera's new position. She angled her head upward to look down upon Rory as a sign of superiority, and spoke. "No mercy." The harpy paused as the words hit her ears, the realization dawning on her. Vera didn't have the same hesitation she did. If she kept this up reluctance, she was going to be the one getting hurt. Rory swallowed and nodded, focusing more mana into her metal lodestone and morphing the two large arms into her spear and sword, bending her knees before taking off into the air after her, intending to strike at Vera from underneath with a slash of the blade.

Confused by the stone walls loudly erupting from the ground, Uldrix didn't see Freyja coming at all. The blow to his head caused his hearing to 'ring', everything vibrating and duplicating so he couldn't see straight. He backed away from Freyja, screeching repeatedly as he tried to grasp his surroundings. Once he had managed to somewhat regain his sight, he saw that it was their leader that had struck him. He had failed. He hadn't been merciful in the slightest. His vision still wavering slightly, he tried to stand shakily but just collapsed down again, staying on all fours. "I...but she had..." He didn't know what to do now. Was he out? Would they execute him now? How did this culture operate? Without a sound, he laid down on the ground and closed his eyes tightly, effectively blocking out everything. Only touch or smell could disturb him now. He wanted to be alone. Today had been overwhelming.
