Spica was in disbelief, expecting to be ridiculed for such a statement. It wasn't something she had planned to say, neither something she usually said. She pulled back her hat and meekly said, 'Would that be possible?'
A faint smile crossed her face, 'If it can be arranged, I'm looking forward to it.'

"Oh! That's right!" Monaiya points to the lodestone on her right arm-band. "The lodestone I use is the type that can help me control the wind to attack, as well a self defense. Guess I got myself in a windy situation." Myrri snorted, tying to surpress her desire to facepalm at the joke. She quickly recomposed herself and moved foreward. 'Do you mind if I have a look?' She asked, motioning to the gauntlet. 'My lodestone just inserts into my weapon and isn't built in.'' "Sure, you can take a look at it" Monaiya took off the her armband and hand it to Myrri "Here you go~."

'Thanks,' Myrri said, scooping the armband out of Monaiya's hands. As she traced her finger along the finely wrought metal, she forced herself to suppress the urge to pocket the beautiful tool. She looked at it a moment more before turning to hand it back. She gritted her teeth, loath to give the armband back but knowing she had to have a good standing with her new fellows and that people don't take too kindly to thieves. She had memories enough of the occasional unpleasant moments when she was caught stealing. 'So, how many different races do you think are here? I've never seen such a diverse arrangement of people.'

Sparrow's giddiness was interrupted by Uldrix's accusation. The Glimmer froze, face contorting into a frown.
He did not want to be a part of this.
"Thank you for teaching me, I will be leaving now." Sparrow bowed to Robin and Uldrix before departing, looking for more cheerful company. He looked around at his teammates before his eyes landed on two girls, one dressed particularly colorfully. The Glimmer approached them, giving a quick jingle of his pouch for he did not know if either one of them were in the same situation as Uldrix. "Hello, it is nice to meet you," he smiled at Myrri and Monaiya.

So that's how their vision worked. While Robin knew they could only detect others using sound, they had no idea of how it actually functioned. However, they were now curious of the color of their own voice.
Yikes. Needless to say, Uldrix hasn't been given a reason to trust people who produce such a tone, and with their own past experiences, they were more likely to believe a race outside human influence at this point. Yet... this adventure was also one of the first times they were really alone to make their own decisions. What if they were being too gullible? What if Kyana knew about them, and Uldrix did as well? They could feel their heart race for a moment, as the sweat rolled down under their mask. They could very well be scheming partners, or maybe trying to shoo the other away for their own purposes.
...Or maybe they were just getting paranoid. It was getting hard to distinguish reasonable worry and mindless self-concern. Avenaudi weren't fond of humans in general, surely, so Uldrix probably didn't have anything to do with Kyana. They inhaled deeply, shutting their eyelids as they did so, before exhaling. I feel like I'm tip-toeing. "She did have an outburst earlier during our match," they nodded slowly, pondering over how to compose themselves. Uldrix had ended his claim with "nothing productive can come of a relationship based on deception," making Robin slouch a bit in their posture. Surely, he knew if he hadn't bared his jaw like with the girl, but if he believed his own statement, then his tongue may slip- not particularly aware of how that may affect them...
They bit their cheek, but held their breath. If they didn't give Uldrix a reason to believe they were out of the norm, then perhaps they were fine. Still, deception, as worded by him, made them feel dishonest- which is what they were trying to avoid in the first place. "I'll keep it in mind, thank you. How did your match fair?"

Surely, he knew if he hadn't bared his jaw like with the girl, but if he believed his own statement, then his tongue may slip- not particularly aware of how that may affect them... Uldrix narrowed his eyes as he focused in on the sight of Robin's heart increasing in speed as the word 'deception' left his beak, but he was confused as to whether this was a reaction to the possibility of a snake in their ranks or something more...personal. "If you are wearing more than one mask," he spoke in a quiet tone, wary that he was making assumptions but needing to make his position clear on the matter, "I ask you not speak to me about what you are hiding. It is true that I do not know everything about the world outside my territory, but if you chose to not disclose important information to others, than I can only assume you are a threat." He stated this in a colder voice then intended, but there was no taking those words back now. "I currently see no reason to dislike you. I'd like to keep it this way. If you are not dishonest, we may continue this relationship." He flicked out his tongue. Although he had not said so out loud, he was giving Robin a free pass. The man simply had to avoid conversation that could lead to a lie and Uldrix's faith in him wouldn't be obstructed. The avenaudi continued as though he hadn't just called Robin out at all. "It went poorly. I tried to kill her." He stated simply.

Standing next to them was a being that appeared to be made out of rock and light. 'Oh, hi there. I'm Myrri, who would you be?' She asked, hiding her surprise at the newcomer's appearance.

Her features softened at the two smaller females, slipping away from them to go off somewhere else, albeit nearby the others. She plopped her body down on the grass, removing her oversize pauldrons for the sake of comfort as she rolled to her side. After this, she hummed a tune from her childhood; her voice soft, yet loud enough to be heard. She closed her eyes, reminiscing of the cave she called home.

Their first day out, and Uldrix had already suspected them of hiding more than they already were. Yet if the avenaudi could tell what they were, then they already knew what their secret was. His icy words pierced them, and they couldn't help but their shoulders droop as he continued to speak. Out of all the recruits they encountered thus far, Uldrix had been the one they developed a slight bias for, considering his interest in music and his race's history with humans as well. A sigh emitted under their mask, before resting their chin one hand while outstretching the other to the radio resting on the plain.
They flipped the dial, letting an upbeat show-tune play through. "I lost mine," they gazed back down at their feet, tapping them as they did so. Of course I did. If anything, Robin had been silly to believe they had a chance at winning. "Sorry about yours, but uh, at least you're more than qualified... I guess?" they shrugged, "Like, you can fight." Their cheeks grew hot under their mask, unsure of how to compose their own words. First they lost the match, then Uldrix grew suspicious of them... they were walking on thin eggshells, and cracking each one. Finally, they settled on whistling along with the show-tune to fill up for their loss of words.
Robin's mind were fixated on his words. If what they heard of avenaudi history were true, which they had no doubt of, then Uldrix should understand their position to an extent. Perhaps in due time, maybe, just maybe they could tell him why. Despite this, their free hand still twiddled nervously with the volume on the dial as their eyes scanned elsewhere.
They spotted the draconid from earlier, and it appeared as though her mouth was moving. They stopped whistling and turned down the radio's volume, but still couldn't make out much of the sound...
"Hey, do you know what song she's singing?" they glanced back to Uldrix.

Something about this battle was wrong. Based on this small display of uncoordinated fighting, there was no way she had the abilities being presented on the battlefield. Freyja was going to figure this out, one way or another. Seeing as Alanis was preoccupied with trying to kick Rey, Freyja took the opportunity to slowly move sideways until she was ten feet behind the girl. She hooked her lodestone into place and softened the dirt around her, like she had with Uldrix, in order to make as little noise as possible. She wanted to ensure that there was no way Alanis could see this attack coming. Freyja charged, full speed at the snot-nosed girl, intending to punch her full force in the back. If Freyja's theory was right, Alanis would be moved out of the way without even knowing what had happened. Instead, Alanis lost her balance and fell sideways, effectively avoiding the punch without even realizing it. A small breeze had started blowing beforehand, but seemed to dissipate once she was out of danger. "Let go of me!" Alanis carried on, now bringing her free leg in to prepare for a much more effect stomping motion. Rey definitely wasn't going to be able to avoid this if she kept holding onto Alanis' leg. The posh woman wasn't very strong, but this type of kick would hurt regardless if it hit at the right angle. Even despite the taller woman's noisy armor and reckless charge, Alanis was too focused on fighting off Rey to even realize that Freyja had stepped in.

As was Rey, who let go of Alanis' leg the second she fell and dodged the girl's kick by also falling to her side. She immediately got up and tried to drive her foot into Alanis' abdomen now that she had the upper hand.

Finally, they settled on whistling along with the show-tune to fill up for their loss of words. Uldrix blinked slowly after Robin stated this, mulling over his words. It seemed his new companion wasn't very happy with the outcome of his fight. "Sometimes being capable of physical violence does not mean one is stronger than another." He said simply. "I saw your fight. You handled your emotional state much better than that human did. I find this to be more admirable." His tone held a hint of envy in it. "I am very glad I met you outside of my territory. I doubt I would have had the chance to converse with you...I would likely have killed you." The truth of this statement left him feeling bitter, and he laid down on his stomach sadly, trying to focus on the music coming from Robin's radio. "I wish I could see the world as you all do, sometimes..." His whispered admission was cut short as Robin turned off the radio, leaving room for Uldrix to focus on a new sound that had appeared. Uldrix didn't answer, already on his feet and creeping towards Vera with a cocked head. He reached into the sound waves without her permission and expanded them, increasing the volume so they became more spectacular to this sight. "Better." He murmured, not bothering to introduce himself to the semi-sleeping figure. He was much more entertained by the sounds it produced.

Even despite the taller woman's noisy armor and reckless charge, Alanis was too focused on fighting off Rey to even realize that Freyja had stepped in. Freyja had noticed a small wind beginning to blow the closer she got, but chalked up Alanis falling over to her own stupidity. Freyja backed away a bit, and began talking to the two. "Alright, enough. At this rate, you two will be here all night. Your sparring match is over." Freyja walked away from the two, peering around to see that all the sparring had ceased. She looked back up to the sky, the orange hue that once filled it beginning to be overtaken in the dark blue of the night sky. She felt her stomach growl, and decided it was about time they head into town. "LISTEN UP, SEARCH PARTY!!! TODAY'S TRAINING IS OVER!! WE'RE GOING TO HEAD INTO TOWN AND REST UP AT AN INN AND GET SOME GRUB!!" She bellowed at the group. "THIS WILL BE SOMEWHAT OF A TEAM-BUILDING EXERCISE, BUT I'LL EXPLAIN MORE WHEN WE GET THERE!! LET'S GO!!!" and with that, Freyja began heading into Rhimeglas. Freyja chose the biggest, fanciest inn she could fine. Partially due to the group being so big, but mostly because she didn't want to listen to Alanis and Spica complain about the quality. They stayed at was DwarfHeart Inn, and upon entering, an old dwarf walked forward his arms extended outward as he approached Freyja. " OHOHOHO! ME CHILD! WHAT'RE YE DOIN' 'ERE! I 'AVEN'T SEEN YE SINCE YE WERE A WEE BABE! LOOK AT YE NOW! ALL GROWN UP!!" he shouted as Freyja knelt down and hugged the man. She turned to the group and smiled "Uh, I'll be back in a minute." Freyja and the dwarven man stepped into a room off to the side for about 5 minutes before reemerging. " ALRIGHTY, I'LL HAVE A FEAST PREPARED FOR YE IN A LI'L BIT! MAKE YER SELVES COMFY!" He shouted once more before hurrying away. Within no time at all, an entire banquet was prepared for the search party. Any food and drink you could imagine was laid out on the table, and it was all for the group. There was a chair for every member of the search party, and Freyja motioned for them to sit. With that, the dwarf shouted " IF YE NEED ANYTHIN', DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK!" he gave the group a toothy smile and left to the room he and Freyja had spoke in earlier. Freyja quickly filled her plate with meats, potatoes and a variety of other food, as well as filling an enormous mug with ale, before sitting down once more. "Alright. So here's the deal. By now, most of us know each other to an extent, but we're gonna go around the table and introduce ourselves again. You're gonna tell us your name, why you're here, and what your abilities consist of, alright? And if you have anything else you want to get off your chest, now would be the time. I'll start." She motioned to herself as she picked a turkey leg off of her plate. "My name is Freyja Hlin! I am a 35 year old bounty hunter and war veteran. Since I AM a bounty hunter, Lord Paxton Riece himself hired me to find Heaven's Spire and train whoever else comes along. I'll be getting a little extra besides the initial reward for doing this." She took a huge chunk out of the leg she'd been holding and motioned to the group. "Who's next?" She said, her mouth still full.
Main Objective
Introduce your character to the whole group, explain why they're here and whatever other information you'd like to share with the rest of the group. Once your character has introduced themselves, they are free to do whatever they choose in the inn, so long as it isn't going to get them in trouble. This will mainly be a time to interact before the group begins their search.

Uldrix hadn't bothered to take a plate, and instead lifted a whole smoked pig from the tablet, skewering it with his talons as he bit off large chunks of meat from it. He had pushed the chair out of the way, not seeming to realize what the strangely shaped wood object was to be used for, and was just standing at the table a little more hunched over than normal. He would have been more curious about being indoors for the first time, but the food currently had his mind occupied. "This is very good." He noted to no one in particular. He discarded a few of the bones on the floor haphazardly. "I have not eaten this type of meat before."
Uldrix had finished eating the entire pig before Freyja had even begun her introduction, and looked around nervously at the others when the question was posed. He shuffled a taloned foot awkwardly, mixing up the large pile of bones on the floor. "I am Uldrix and I am an avenaudi." He began. "I am here because I was informed that this...gold is a type of wealth, like land. I would like to obtain wealth." He didn't go into more detail than that, which probably made him seem selfish, but he didn't realize this or care to elaborate on his quest to change his people for the better. "I use a sound lodestone for most of my more advanced fighting techniques. Condensing sound waves into blades is favorable." He tried to think of what other information might be necessary to explain. "I do not see the same way you all do. My eyes act as I believe your ears do? It is hard for me to understand since your way of sight is foreign to me." He blinked nervously. Explaining things in front of a crowd had him feeling nervous and slightly embarrassed. "I have been alone for most of these forty years, so I apologize for my lack of knowledge when it comes to your different cultures. I will...I will do my best to understand, if you would do so as well. If you are curious, you may ask me about my race and I will explain things as well as I can with my limited knowledge. I will not be offended." With that, he got back to sniffing around the table for more meats.

She pulled back her hat and meekly said, 'Would that be possible?' A faint smile crossed her face, 'If it can be arranged, I'm looking forward to it.' Rory's smile widened as a small smile began to form on Spica's face. There was something very pleasing to seeing the little witch showing something more personal than her position as an esteemed member of the Witch Society and her skill as a star pupil . And while the harpy wasn't entirely sure what that would entail in a society she didn't know much about, being the "star" of anything surely would place a lot of unneeded pressure on the person. "Absolutely! I'll make sure of it!" she chirped. Freyja quickly filled her plate with meats, potatoes and a variety of other food, as well as filling an enormous mug with ale, before sitting down once more. "Alright. So here's the deal. By now, most of us know each other to an extent, but we're gonna go around the table and introduce ourselves again. She took a huge chunk out of the leg she'd been holding and motioned to the group. "Who's next?" She said, her mouth still full. Rory watched in a small amount of horror as Freyja chowed down into a large turkey leg, far more disturbed by this than the absolute decimation of that roasted pig by Uldrix. As he spoke, she sipped her soup quietly, humming and listening to the lizard man give his introduction. He'd frightened her a little bit earlier, not in his stature or behavior, but the fact that he assumed she was picking a fight with him. She was a naturally touchy person, and the idea of upsetting him accidentally was more scary than any behavior he'd exhibited in front of her so far. He seemed very willing and open to speaking with others, and she smiled and nodded once he finished his introduction, going next. "I'm Rory Celaeno. I'm 25 years old, and I'm a harpy! Before I came out to meet with all of you, I worked with my mother, who's an inventor specializing in agricultural innovations with a passion for prosthetics. So if any of you have some equipment malfunctions during our search just let me know! I'm here to get the money to pay off my family's debt. Ah... when he fought in the war, my papa was critically injured and has had his life supported by expensive lodestone-powered equipment. And unfortunately agricultural advances aren't too profitable right now... He was a pretty famous singer and entertainer you know! But he hasn't been able to speak or sing since he returned, so I'd like to get him a Sound lodestone..." Her first little white lie came out a lot more easily than she thought it would. "I use a Metal lodestone to control my arms here, which morph into a sword and a spear that I named Ita and Siba!" she grinned sheepishly. "Unfortunately, even though I'm really good at controlling them, I'm not too sure how to do some of the cool magic you guys can do, so I hope I can learn! I look forward to working with all of ya!" she grinned and raised her spoon up a little bit before taking a sip of soup.
