Now that no one was in the way Murm was free to work. He began by looking over the boys body for any other notable wounds, as well as further examining the boy's side, his hands carefully prodding at Gear until he was certain of what exactly he needed to fix. Gently the healer placed his hand upon his patients abdomen, pouring as much of his energy and focus as was necessary into fixing the broken body before him. Once the large gash had been sealed Murm leaned back his eyes fixed on the young teen. "Please..." He whispered under his breath, waiting; watching to see if the boy would open his eyes. ((((aaaaaand zenguardian for good measure i guess))))

Spica's face contorted as she watched her favourite food being smashed into pieces. She slammed her hands at the table and looked at Rory, visibly upset. She then looked at Freyja, 'My people were truly mistaken about you.'
She left her seat, looking to sit alone for the time being. She little cared for who spoke next, or their motivations. It was clear that she was going to have the hardest time here, regardless.

The boy's eyes fluttered open as his consciousness returned. Instinctively, his hand flew to cover his wound as he quickly sat up, eyes shutting tightly in expectance of pain that didn't come. He removed his hand and stared at the spot where his wound once was. "It... it doesn't hurt!" He marveled. Looking up, he noticed a man gazing down at him, with Freyja nearby. "Are you.. the one that healed me? Thank you very much!" he exclaimed, scrambling to his knees and bowing until his forehead touched the floor. "I'm sorry for making you go out of your way to fix me! I am in your debt, sir!"
Rising to his feet, the boy recalled his reason for being there. "Miss Freyja, I would like-" he paused, realizing that he had forgotten to introduce himself, "Please excuse me.. I go by the name Gear. I'd like to join your search party!"
"I don't know how to fight... and I hate lodestones..." he said sheepishly, "but... my parents are trapped in the Outskirts! You're strong, right?! Please, they're injured and need help!" A cold sweat ran down the back of Gear's neck. It was unlikely for Freyja to even allow someone as weak as him to join the search party. Being weak means that you're a liability. What if his weakness resulted in the death of Freyja? Or even the person that fixed him? If it were his own life he were responsible for, he'd be fine with dying. But if it were other lives? He wouldn't be able to live with himself.
The person that he'd made the deal with assured him that if he mentioned his species that Freyja would welcome him with open arms, regardless of the fact that he couldn't even protect himself. Freyja was strong and brash, like most bounty hunters. It worried him that he would have to interact with such a scary person. He had no idea what business the man who he made a deal with was. If she accepted him, he would definitely not take her kindness for granted. He bit his lip. He was reluctant to give out the name of his species. The people he'd come across on his way here didn't believe him as he did not have the tell-tale sign of a Uni - their horn, and thus declined his request for help. It was probably for the best, though. If he were to be believed, someone might have abducted him and try to sell him on the blackmarket. They were valuable. "I am of the Unis," he said, pulling up his headgear to show a reddish circular spot on the center of his forehead, "I lost my horn thanks to the lodestones in the Outskirts." He spat the word venomously. "But I still have a whole bunch of mana in my body. My magic lets me share my mana with others!"
He looked at Freyja with pleading eyes. "I don't care about the rewards! You can have mine! All I want is to save my Ma and Pa..."

Name: Limarah Age: 37 Personality: Calm, tolerant, positive, and modest. Fighting Capabilities: She has a light Lodestone in her possession which is attached to a magic wand like object. Her magical abilities are unknown. Backstory: Limarah spent her time in Atlan City studying the many uses of mana. Limarah was able to take advantage of her ability to use mana in order to gain wealth where she lived. She kept most of her abilities a secret so that she could provide citizens special goods which others would not be able to imitate. Her business tempted thieves from around the area to notice her wealth. The thieves then stole her most precious goods, her Lodestones. Limarah then ran away with only one Lodestone in her possession. It wasn't until she found a flier about the heaven's spire that she started her travels to continue her trading in peace. She traveled in hopes that the search party could come across a nice town to settle in. Additional Info: She has an interest in reading about magic and culinary arts. Her wand item contains three sections to exhaust energy. It is also painted a bright pink color. Physical Appearance: She is an ordinary looking medieval woman besides having lamb ears, a ram's horn, an antler, and light blue markings on her body.
After heading to Shakwen, Limarah asked where the spire's search party was. She was given directions to a certain inn. Soon after arrival, Limarah entered the rather nice looking building. She observed her surroundings. The inside was not as nice as the outside. There was pie on the wall, a boy collapsed on the floor, and ... the remains of a pig left on the floor. Limarah had no idea who she had to speak with, so she addressed to the group, "Excuse me. Is this the search party for the spire?" She wore a bit of a worried face, but smiled regardless.

Limarah had no idea who she had to speak with, so she addressed to the group, "Excuse me. Is this the search party for the spire?" She wore a bit of a worried face, but smiled regardless. "uh, y-yeah! This is it! I'm Freyja Hlin, and I'll be with you in a moment! We're having a bit of a crisis! Also, Spica, stick a sock in it! She won't care that you're from the Witch Society! None of us do!" Freyja knew that'd be the first thing out of the girl's mouth, and was not in the mood to hear it for the 800th time today. Instead, Freyja was watching Murm work, finding him to be a healer. She breathed a sigh of relief, as her initial worry about the expedition in the first place would be the group having no healer. The Outskirts were dangerous, and a healer was a necessity to travel there. In fact, this kid looked as though he had recently been IN The Outskirts. But that'd be preposterous. No one in their right mind would go into The Outskirts alone....right? "What the hell happened to this kid...." She stuttered, shakily taking a swig of ale in an attempt to calm her nerves. And with what seemed like an eternity, the kid was awake again"Oh god...WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING IN THE OUTSKIRTS!?!?" She said, more angrily than she should have been. She turned to the group, rage flashing across her face. "THIS IS WHY YOU PEOPLE NEED TRAINING! PEOPLE GET KILLED IN THE OUTSKIRTS! LET THIS BE A LESSON!!" She was letting her stress get the best of her and took a quick breath to calm herself down. The boy mentioned his hatred of lodestones and his complete and utter uselessness, which was extremely odd. But knowing the child's parents were still out there, she couldn't very well tell the kid to hit the road. "I'll find your parents, kid. Where in The Outskirts did you last see them? Are they nearby?" She turned to the group, realizing that this wasn't what they had signed up for, and were unlikely to help. "I'll go and find Gear's parents, you all stay here. I can move faster without you" She spat, her lone-wolf attitude kicking in. She awaited Gear's response, as she wanted to leave as soon as possible.

Gear flinched, shrinking away from the woman a bit. This was the behavior he expected from someone who annihilated a village for money. Still, he wouldn't squander her kindness. He was lucky that she hadn't even turned him away.
"T-they just wanted to protect me! If we stayed here, we would have met the same fate as the other Unis! We just thought that it would be safer in The Outskirts were it was just us and no one looking to exploit us, but..." He trailed off. "We stayed in Zil'Corm for a while. It was as close to the wall as we could get. There's a house there that's almost completely surrounded by lodestones and monsters. Only I was able to get out since I was small enough..."

"My apologies for my timing. Is everything okay with the boy?" Limarah said. Her attention was brought to Gear while wearing a worried expression. "uh, y-yeah! This is it! I'm Freyja Hlin, and I'll be with you in a moment! We're having a bit of a crisis!" "Oh god...WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING IN THE OUTSKIRTS!?!?" She said, more angrily than she should have been. Limarah had only heard of the outskirts, but never once went in there herself. This situation was a bit tense, even for Limarah. Limarah spoke to Freyja, "I'm sorry to interrupt you Freyja, but may I ask you about your decision to depart? If you're the leader of this group, then I believe you must be the one to teach these young ones how to train. If you wander off to the Outskirts by yourself then your party will be left to survive by themselves. I understand that you feel the need to search for Gear's parents, and I understand that you may have trouble working with some of your party, but please reconsider the results of your actions before taking action. Is it really worth searching for his parents alone? If you do decide to leave, then what will you leave the rest of the party to do?" Limarah wasn't smiling anymore, but instead giving a face of concern.

She questioned. To her knowledge, there were no monsters in The Outskirts whatsoever. However, things are often obscured in the eyes of children. Perhaps he mistook a wild animal for something else. "Don't worry, I'll find them. And like I said." Freyja's expression was cold as she turned back to face the group "None of you are to follow me. And ma'am." Freyja's expression softened as she looked at this woman who seemed genuinely worried. She smiled and winked at her. "I'm coming back." And with that, she left the inn. Without everyone else following her, she could move at the speed she initially planned on when she was hired for the job. Freyja locked her lodestone in place and covered her feet within stone. She then motioned her hand forward, sending her flying at a blistering pace through town. Her mastery of the Earth Lodestone allowed her to glide easily between buildings and roads, even when she was travelling faster than any train could. She was approaching the wall, only 10 minutes having passed by, when she released her feet from their rocky prison and began sprinting. As she edged closer and closer to the wall, she summoned two stone pillars beneath her feet and shot high into the air, clearing the mile high, 200 feet thick wall. As she descended, she raised two larger rocks from the ground, which shot into her hands and continued pushing against them. This worked to slow the velocity of her fall, until she lightly came in touch with the ground, which she morphed into quicksand for safe measure. Once she was on the ground, it was a straight shot to Zil'Carm, the abandoned dwarven village. She used the same tactic she had before hand in the city to reach the town in the same amount of time it took to get to the wall. What she discovered was horrifying. Strange crystalline creatures were roaming the town, all glowing different colors. Freyja hid behind a building as she watched the four beasts waddle around aimlessly. Then, out of nowhere, they all shot up as if called to attention. The creatures burrowed into the ground, disappearing from sight. {Spoiler - What Freyja Saw} As soon as the creatures disappeared, Freyja had a chance to observe The Outskirts for the first time in 15 years. The lodestone growths had clearly expanded, covering nearly everything in the magical crystals, from trees to buildings. Even the wall itself was covered in the growths. There was no time to worry about this now, however, as Freyja had to find Gear's parents. But given the sight of those creatures, she had a feeling she already knew the outcome of what had happened. "HELLO!!" She bellowed. "IS ANYONE OUT HERE!? HELLOOOO!!" Nothing, only pure silence. Upon exploring the town some more, she found exactly what she was looking for. Two bodies, lying in a broken down building. They were surely Gear's parents. There wouldn't be anyone else out here. The very sight of these corpses chilled Freyja to the bone, however. Unlike any fresh corpse, these bodies looked as though they were completely hollow and drained of everything. Freyja lifted the bodies, confirming her suspicions that they were indeed hollow. Light as a feather, to her at least. Freyja didn't want to disrespect the recently deceased, so she created to graves with her lodestone outside of town and buried the couple. She created two tombstones, and decided she would allow Gear to come and etch them out, should he feel up to it. As Freyja was about to head back, she saw a certain construct out in the distance. Something just barely peeking out over the trees. "Heaven's Spire..." She uttered to herself, completely awestruck.

(( even on 2016, Constantina is still freaking late)) Illia moved along with the rest of the party on the inn. There was a feast there and Freyja suggested to introduce each other. Thought Illia didnt want to interact that much, she decited to say a few stuff about herself, since she was going to stay with them for quite a long time. Carefully trying to not step on any of the rest party members , Illia found a free chair and tried to sit, though her mechanical legs were taking too much space and they were really uncomfortable." My name is Illia Hioni. I am a electric robot. I was thrown away by my owners cause of my dissability. I use these mecanical legs to help me move, but they can also be used as a weapon. The reason why i came here is to help the only person that showed me any kidness fron his sickness" she said. Illia listened to the rest of the members talking about themselfs. Most of them seemed quite interesting to her, but there were some people she wouldnt even try to interact with. Untill a small injured child entered. Thought Illia disliked almost everyone, she couldnt help it but worry about the child.

Spica huffed and continued to sulk about her loss. She wasn't in the mood to have a single bite and seeing the two arrivees; a snivelling child and a reindeer woman, she had enough.
'So who are you?' she said, standing over Gear with disdain. She grasped his face between two fingers and smiled. 'I heard that you're not too fond about lodestones? The old hag's gone off to find your precious parents so sit pretty and stay put, okay?' She said it with such conviction.
'And as for you?' She turned her focus onto Limarah. 'That hag is our great leader known for throwing insults and pies. It's best not to question anything she does.'
Once she said those things patted Gear on the head and went off in another direction.

"Hrmphrphrphaphe" Monaiya was talking with her mouth full. Once she realized what she was doing, she swallowed her food quickly like a dummy. "Um, Spica, is it? I really wouldn't insult Freyja if I were you. I remember my cousin did the same thing to someone similar to her and let's just say he was not able to sit down for a month." Monaiya looks at Gear. "Gear, is it? I am sure Freyja will find your parents. She seems very tough so I'm sure things will be okay."

It turned out that Freyja made her decision before Limarah spoke to her. Freyja was already at the door before Limarah spoke. "Monsters?" She questioned. She... winked? This was the absolute last thing Limarah was expecting Freyja to do. The change from feeling concerned to this form of reassurance caught Limarah off guard. Where Limarah came from, she would be reassured in a much more formal way. Limarah's eyes widened while she was filled with confusion. Was this something Freyja did on a regular basis? Was this because she was in a different part of the world? Was Freyja flirting? These were some of the thoughts that quickly rushed through Limarah's head. After about half a second later, Limarah shook her head a little and gave Freyja a nervous smile. Spica huffed and continued to sulk about her loss. She wasn't in the mood to have a single bite and seeing the two arrivees; a snivelling child and a reindeer woman, she had enough. 'So who are you?' she said, standing over Gear with disdain. Once she said those things patted Gear on the head and went off in another direction. Limarah turned to Spica with a neutral face expression. She was still trying to process what previously happened. Spica's words did make her notice the pie that was on the wall again. This must have been Freyja's doing. Limarah could not come up with a response to Spica before Spica already left. Limarah then noticed another young one speaking with Gear. By Limarah's surprise, the young one spoke the same words Limarah was going to speak. She waited until Monaiya was finished talking. Limarah then decided that she would attempt to comfort Gear anyways. Limarah bent down and started speaking to Gear, "you're in safe hands Gear. Each one of us believes Freyja will be fine. Even if she's not, I, Limarah will be here to protect you from danger. Okay? Be good.. will you?" Her attention was then brought to Monaiya, "and what would your name be young one?"

It would be truly unforgivable to allow any sort of harm to befall a child, let alone death. As he continued to watch, the healer noticed their eyes open. Feeling nothing but relief as the boy now found himself moving around quite easily, Murm let a soft smile grow on his face. His cheeks squished upward pushing the feeling into his eyes as well. While it was a motion he had learned to force well enough that the fake was indistinguishable from the genuine, it had been a while since he truly felt the emotion he showed to the world. The man pushed himself to his feet noting that the new arrival had identified himself as Gear, stepping back slightly as he addressed Freyja. A new voice called out, inquiring about the search party, and the man's gaze was met with the sight of a strangely horned woman. Taking note of her, Murm turned back to the table and spoke. "You all may call me Murm Lumi. I should say this exemplifies my abilities well enough and I quite look forward to working with you." With that he began to walk away slowly forcing the smile to stay on his face as he looked away from the lavishly stocked meal. He had learned most of the names he had need of.

Before Gear could respond to Spica He wasn't sure what to make of the girl in the witch costume. Her words weren't mean, but her tone said otherwise.
Gear nodded at both of them. "I'll be good... but you have to believe me! I really saw monsters in the Outskirts! At least I think I did..." Gear shook his head, ridding himself of the thought. "I'm sorry! I'm really ruining the mood here, huh?"

"How...the hell..." Freyja was completely dumbfounded at the sight of the tower. So many questions arose in her mind. 'How did it get here' was the main question, but a couple other, more cynical questions arose. I can take that tower reward for myself...the others would get killed by these monsters...it isn't safe to take kids out here.... Freyja quickly shook these selfish thoughts from her mind, and began to walk towards the tower. From there, she'd decide the best route to get to it. Before she could continue onward, however, something that sounded like a train was coming. Freyja moved to the side, knowing exactly what that sound was. A tree, at least 200 feet tall, came crashing down onto Zil'Carm, destroying a few of the smaller homes. This was a sign. Freyja needed to leave this village immediately. The dwarven people were incredibly devoted to The Aged, and were known to have communion with them regularly. This town was most likely guarded by one, and it is not happy about her disrupting what would now be called a dwarven burial ground. Freyja truly wanted to leave as soon as she could, so she began to sprint towards Heaven's Spire. That's when another noise entered her ears. This noise, however, was animalistic in nature. The sound of something growling. Not only that. It was big. Freyja turned to look into the woods, and she could see a glowing eye staring right back at her. This wouldn't normally worry her, if it hadn't been for the fact that the eye she was looking at seemed to be nearly as big as she was. Freyja was shaking for the first time in a long while. What the hell..? What IS that...? Freyja soon found her answer, as the beast stood up from the ground, crystal growths igniting with color. Another lodestone beast, only this creature was larger by far. It stood at what must have been 30 feet tall, and it was glaring right at the bounty hunter. The beast roared, causing Freyja to cover her ears. It was deafening, how loud this creature was. Freyja's ears were still ringing from the noise when she witnessed what that roar had done. The lodestone monsters from the village began rising from the ground once more, this time in much larger quantities. There were at least 40 creatures, all of their eyes locked on Freyja, along side the enormous monster her eyes were still locked onto. There was no way she could fight these creatures off. Not by herself, anyways. Freyja locked her feet in stone and began sprinting towards the wall once more. She had to get back to the inn. Unluckily for her, however, the larger creature was not making that easy. She could feel the ground quake beneath her with each enormous step this monster took, just trying to reach the bounty hunter. Freyja's heart felt as though it was about to leap out of her chest as each step shook the earth harder and harder, until she assumed the beast was right behind her. Instinctively, Freyja raised an enormous stone wall from the ground, and heard a large thud, followed by an angered screech. It didn't matter now, however, as Freyja was nearly upon the wall, and shot herself over once more. Her landing wasn't nearly as graceful as her first, and she came tumbling onto the ground. She laid in the grass for a moment, trying to calm herself down as panic and shock continued to set in. "I can't....I can't...." She kept repeating over and over "I can't....keep them safe...I can't..........save him....." She went silent for nearly half an hour, before she finally stood up from the grass. "I can't bring those kids into the wall...not anymore...." She began walking back towards the inn, not making any real effort to get there in a hurry. As far as she knew, those creatures were native only to The Outskirts. Freyja finally arrived back at the inn, the confidence and brash demeanor she normally wore completely overmasked by fear and terror. She made her way back over to her seat and sat down with a large thump. She grabbed her mug of ale, the glass visibly shaking in her hand, as she turned to Gear. "I....I'm sorry........your.....p-parents...they're......" She could barely speak to the boy. "They've passed on......." And with that, she downed the rest of her ale, having nearly a full mug beforehand, and quickly filled it with more. {Spoiler - What Freyja Saw}
