Myrri glanced up as one of her comrades, Robin, if she remembered correctly, shouted for a medic. She winced, a little embarrassed that they were asking for help, partially on her behalf. She had gotten used to appearing strong and trusting no one, but maybe that was wrong. Maybe trust was a beneficial activity. Either way, Myrri was no longer comfortable in the situation. She cleared her throat and turned back to Monaiya. ' That shield was pretty cool. I'm a bit lacking in the defense portion of fighting. ' She said, trying to start a conversation to occupy herself.

Robin hadn't met their designated medic yet, and had no idea where to begin searching. Nor did they have the energy, being that they just sat down to rest their legs. Getting up would be a pain. Instead, they inhaled deeply, before bellowing out, "We could use the healer over here!" They didn't really care to raise their voice much, but they couldn't be bothered with taking a stand as of the moment. Though, they did want to help a recruit that helped cover them. As the man strode off towards the group a shout caught Murm's attention. Whipping his head towards the source of the sound Murm began jogging towards Robin. "Yes?" He called ahead of himself to the masked figure. "What happens to be the problem here?" Drawing closer his eyes began combing swiftly over the situation looking for some reason as to why he had been called.

Sparrow looked down at the ground, trying to process what the two had said to her. "They were like me. Glimmers... we do good." Sparrow had still convinced himself that the creatures they had fought were indeed glimmers like himself, and like himself had emotions and souls. Before he had left the Glimmer Void, the older glimmers told him that hurting people was wrong, that there was always a peaceful solution to conflict. Yet what his leader was telling him contradicted that. It was all too much. A hiccup escaped the small glimmer's frame as speckles of crystal started to pour from his eyes. He hadn't the proper answer, Sparrow was left at a complete loss. "They weren't Glimmers." She stated plainly "Those creatures were nothing but mindless killing machines taking orders from The Mother. They aren't like you." Freyja didn't have much to say that would cheer the crying glimmer up, so she simply stated the facts instead. Feeling as though this would have no effect on the glimmers feelings, she simply got up and walked away. Freyja walked over to the limp body of the once mighty beast they had just killed. She stopped as she approached the broken mask fragments, searching for one in particular. She searched the area for a few minutes until she came across the piece of the mask that had once held the lodestone in it. Just as she thought, upon turning the mask, an inhibitor had been installed into the back of it. Not only that, but it was one of the newest models. This was extremely odd, considering this meant that that lodestone beast was a relatively new creature. How long had that creature been around? It couldn't have been more than a few months...

They won. A look of genuine glee crossed kyanalurin's face. Her weak but wide smile seemed to stretch from ear to ear, filled to the brim with happiness. "Wohoo!!" She cheered. she raised her hand up in the air and jumped lightly. it would be an hour or so before her arm fully stopped hurting , but it was something she could deal with right now. Relief flooded her comciousness. she would love another day. She followed the party out and prepared for a somewhat relaxing day. "Nice job, all~!" She chimed, making sure her voice didn't sound too different from before.

His harsh truth and the words of their leader seemed to cause the glimmer to be in distress. Uldrix's cold demeanor melted in an instant, the tension from the battle giving way to an almost maternal instinct of protection he'd never felt before. "No, no, stop that." Uldrix whimpered, his tone oddly mirroring the glimmer. He pushed his beak against the side of the creature, visibly shaking. "Stop it, please." It was as though Sparrow's sadness was physically hurting him. His behavior had done a complete flip in only a matter of seconds. Sparrow's mind was still clouded. He had no word to speak. He turned to Uldrix instead, wrapping his thin arms around the guild member's neck and nuzzling into him. He forced himself to stop crying, not wanting to cause Uldrix any harm, and remained still in silence for a long moment before finally breaking free. Freyja had by now walked off, having no more advice to give. There was still so much Sparrow did not understand. He was still so young. He looked off towards the dwarven settlement, the site of seeing it abandoned leaving him with a sense of... melancholy. For the first time Sparrow pinned down the emotion, recognizing it. It was an unpleasant one. one he did not want to feel and one he wanted to prevent others from feeling. "Are you okay, Uldrix? I'm sorry if I made you not well."

He forced himself to stop crying, not wanting to cause Uldrix any harm, and remained still in silence for a long moment before finally breaking free. Freyja had by now walked off, having no more advice to give. Uldrix breathed out a sigh as Sparrow wrapped his arms around him, seeming to calm down from the contact. His mind began to clear as the strange emotions that had invaded his mind began to die down. Confusion set in, however, once he was back to his neutral state, staring at the ticking clock the glimmer still heldonto. This strange feeling...what was wrong with him? "I-I don't know. I'm just--." He closed his eyes tightly for a few moments, blocking out the world to collect his thoughts. When he opened them, everything was still a daze. Nothing had changed. "I need to go." He whispered, the words rushed and forced. "I need to get away from you. I'm sorry. I can't do this. I can't." He turned away from the glimmer and headed off on his own. A shot of anxiety went through his system the moment his back was to the figure, but he forced himself to continue. The farther he got away, the better he felt, and soon he was a good few hundred yards away. He looked back to where Sparrow still was, breathing a bit heavily as though this trek had been more exhausting then the whole battle. He'd never had such strong emotions towards anything before, let alone a complete stranger. He hated it. Uldrix scratched anxiously at the ground, not paying attention to anyone around him, just trying to catch his bearings for now.

Robin jerked their head backwards, motioning to one of the young recruits behind. "Myrri's got a burn on her hand, can you take care of it?" they stared back at the man, inspecting their features closely. Taking a look now, it would make sense as to him being their healer, being that he donned no weaponry of any sort. How did he survive this battle? Did he just miraculously dodge all those flames?
Then again, casters didn't necessarily need a weapon all the time. At least Robin didn't think so, they knew little when it came to the way of magi. "I'm Robin, by the way," they nodded. It would prove beneficial to introduce one's self to the team's medic for future reference.

"Quite the pleasure to meet you, Robin. You may call me Murm Lumi." With the issue of another introduction taken care of he turned his attention to the girl Robin had gestured to and spoke up addressing her. "Excuse me, young miss," The healer took a few steps towards her. "are you in need of my assistance?" ((and'a hotpocketguru bwepbwep))

Spica rolled her eyes at Freyja's speech. 'Maybe if you know, gave out orders from time to time. That's just something I don't know.. leaders like to do.' But whatever, the mother was dead and the next day they'd be off to the Heaven's Spire.
She found Rory off to one side, then sauntered over to her. 'Looking forward to tomorrow?' she asked, straightening out her appearance. Her titan quickly followed, and appreciating its loyalty gave it a small pat before returning it to crystal.

The team had done it. Through the combined efforts of many of the fighters they had destroyed the beast and flames no longer rained down upon them. This last part brought Murm relief as he looked out on the battle from behind the protection Pumilus had provided. Stepping forward he set a hand firmly on Pumilus' shoulder. Pumilus stood in place even as the Mother shrieked her last. He was still attempting to keep up his shield when Murm startled him by putting his hand on his shoulder. Pumilus's arms trembled from all the mana usage, and he finally realized he no longer needed to keep the barrier up. He blinked intensely towards the man before lowering his arms and looking around. The battle was over now, and Murm was walking away. He was going off to help the others. Pumilus was about to follow the man before he realized just how low on mana he was. It felt like he had around 1/4 left, maybe even less. This made his mind up for him, and Pumilus decided to sit behind the ice shield he no longer needed to maintain. He'd regain his mana before meeting up with any of the others. Besides, he was merely a robot. They probably did not care about what he was doing anyway. Perhaps this journey wasn't the best course of action.

"You truly DO say every idiotic thing that pops into your head out loud, don't you? I just gave you an order, as your leader. Do not go to the tree in the center of town. Or are you as deaf as you are idiotic?" Freyja spoke, not completely invested in the conversation as she was still examining the lodestone inhibitor. If these things are man made...somebody out here is manufacturing them...perhaps getting to Heaven's Spire will be more of a challenge than I thought. They wouldn't make just one guard, yes? There'd have to be more...Freyja turned back to the group, inhibitor in hand. "I'll be searching for a place for us to shack up for tonight. Just listen to what I said and everything will be peachy. If the enemy reappears, you all are to contact me immediately. Like this." Freyja created a rock and shot it up into the air. After it reached nearly 50 feet, the boulder exploded into dust. "Do that with your element, and I'll be there as quickly as possible. Again, I can't stress this enough, don't disturb anything in the town. It's bad luck to disturb the dead." Freyja looked around and muttered to herself. "Hopefully this battle hasn't already done that..." She began walking into town, mask piece in hand. "If anyone wants to help find an inn with me, be my guest. I don't care."

"Certainly this will be a rather easy fix, if you will just wait one moment..." Lifting one of his hands from Myrri's arm the healer held it close to the skin and, giving his power a small amount of time to work, released the girl's arm entirely. "There, you should find it's now good as new."

'I was talking about the fight, you old bat. Or maybe your battle cry was all you could think of?' Spica barked, just about tired from her lodestones.
'She goes ahead and apologises, and then she's back to shouting down at everybody. Just pick one or the other, leader or equal. You can't have both.' she muttered to herself.

'What kind of lodestone do you use? Is it specially made for healing or have you just learned to use an aspect of another gem?' She asked, trying to broaden her knowledge of lodestones. She glanced over at the battlefield. 'And how do you fight?' She paused, worried that she had been asking too many questions. 'Er, sorry to bother you.' She said, trying to make up for her bout of questions and her rudeness.
