Robin watched as the woman swirled the hem of her dress, revealing the other side to suffer from scorched ends and tattered fabrics that hung limp. Well, luckily they weren't the one to dirty it to such an extent...
Though the woman couldn't see, they had raised an eyebrow under their mask in clear befuddlement over her attitude regarding a piece of attire that cost her actual hundreds worth its weight in gold. With money like that to burn, how much did she actually have then? Did she accompany the group out of a whim? Regardless, she had been helpful. They could feel their face grow hot beneath the cover at the mention of them dancing. Ah, yeah, they forgot they let loose in front of everyone. That was probably silly to onlookers. Yet, she was so serene as she discussed her thoughts about music and didn't pay mind to their previous mindless gestures.
They shook their head, a barely audible chuckle escaping underneath, "No, it really doesn't." The woman's disposition had been pleasant so far, she was rather gentle as she pondered over her own words. Robin found themselves often at a loss for words, but she was rather proficient at filling up the gap herself. It was nice. The antlered figured shuffled through her belongings for a moment, before pulling out a small contraption with a crank protruding from the tiny box's side. They looked on in puzzlement, the gadget appeared familiar but they couldn't remember just how it worked. The woman's fingers nimbly grasped the lever, before rotating it in a circular motion. As she did such, a small melody could be heard as the pieces of metal bounced off one another in the small box. Their eyes lit up upon watching her do so, intrigued by the quaint device's noise.
Of course, they remembered it now. It had been awhile since they stumbled across a music box, as back when they would wander antique stores for rusted tools they could possibly salvage for the shop- there were always a few of these aligned in the glass window. Occasionally they allowed themselves a detour, and would steal a few moments for their own pleasure to wind up the old melodies. However, there wasn't a coin to spare on such a minuscule luxury- they needed to save for more urgent matter.
Robin blinked, taken off-guard by the gesture. "You do? I, uh..." their hands sheepishly outstretched, before feebly taking the box into their own palms. "Thank you..." their voice trailed off, perplexed by the woman's selfless gesture. "I'm Robin, I don't think I caught your name?" they gazed back up at the figure expectantly. "May I ask why you joined the search party? I mean, uh, you don't have to answer."

Freyja had been exploring the town, pondering what the beasts they fought were, when she heard crying. She looked around the area, trying to find where it was coming from, but from the sound alone it seemed to be all around. As though it were in her head. "Hello!?" She shouted, trying to get some sort of response.
I'm by the tree...
Freyja froze at the implications of this. She hoped that this voice wasn't being projected towards anyone else, and proceeded to back away from where she had been walking. Instead, she'd take another path, hopefully one that did not lead to the center of town.
In the distance, not extremely far from the group, to figures were approaching. They didn't seem to be in any sort of hurried pace, and were simply trotting along with one another. As they began to get closer, it appeared one of them was the Umbranite from the inn, Alfie, accompanied by an unknown face. Alfie stopped in front of the group, as it appeared Freyja was nowhere in sight. Alfie then approached the larger group of individuals, consisting of Spica, Rory and Monaiya. Alfie looked around before asking them a question.
"Have you seen Freyja? I have a bag for her, as well as this person.." Alfie motioned to the figure accompanying him. "Can you direct me in her direction? I need to give her this package.. As for you" He turned to face the person accompanying him "This is the Search Party you asked about at the inn. Enjoy them." Alfie gave them a thumbs up, as they couldn't actually smile. Alfie then turned back to the small group, awaiting a response on Freyja's whereabouts.

Name: Alluriae Tschvinat Age: 19 Personality: Alluriae is an earnest student, coming from a training school for potential soldiers to protect her country. Her feelings of nationalism give meaning to joining the journey to Heaven’s Spire. Fighting Capabilities: Alluriae has a fire lodestone that rests on her skirt tied by a golden double belt. She can summon fire out of her hands, and control fire from another source a little. She is dependent on her lodestone for offense and defense, but can fall back on her training experience if necessary. Backstory: Alluriae was born in the city of Ryuiton, and throughout her life, she has been influenced by the military background in her family. Her mother served in the war, and her father had been in the military band. This encouraged her to attend a military boarding school during her high school years, but Alluriae eventually transferred to a regular high school once she felt she wasn’t fit for the military. Even after that, she wanted to prove herself by accomplishing difficult tasks. Alluriae sees the notice for the Heaven’s Spire, and although she was late, she does everything in her power to meet up with the group. Additional Info: - Although she takes the journey to Heaven Spire and the reward seriously, her sometimes facetious moments distract herself from what’s at hand. - Alluriae has a bit of an accent mixed with her semi-choppy English. Sounds a bit rushed sometimes. - Gets pushy when trying to complete a task if it’s not working successfully. This makes her exhausted and moody. Alurriae took her first steps towards the few members of the search team. This was it. She could prove herself worthy now.

'Thanks,' said Myrri, then a puzzled expression crossed her face,'wait a second, if you don't believe in using magic for violence, how did you survive the battle?' Murm raised his eyebrows and cupped his chin. Surely it wasn't to out there to think he had found a fighter willing to defend him? Of course with the company they all seemed to be in the man could see why the question came up. A majority of the people around seemed questionable at best. "Well," The healer began tapping his heel once more. "I had the aid of the rather diminutively sized android, Pumilus. I can't imagine I would have made it through that battle on my own." Laughing quietly he looked off to the side before adding onto that thought in a more hushed tone. "Perhaps this isnt the place for an old man like me." With Myrri's question answered Murm turned his gaze back to her chuckling at his own statement. He hoped this answer would be satisfactory.

Sparrow's head perked as he heard chatter from the woman he attempted to help during the encounter. The glimmer walked over towards her and cocked his head to the side upon reaching the woman. "Are you okay? You seem distressed." The glimmer naturally reacted to the woman's tone, his helpful personality and innocence drawing his to he and keeping his completely naïve about her bratty nature. "No I'm not okay!" Alanis screeched. "A giant mongrel was just trying to kill me!" she waved her arms to accentuate the fact that she was stating the obvious. "What if I got burned back there?! Everyone would hate me!" she whined quite loudly. In her mind, beauty and prestige were her most important aspects. The worst kind of failure would be returning to her family only to have hideously scarred herself. How could they ever accept that? No doubt as a part of whatever lesson they wanted to teach her, she could not afford to ruin her appearance.

He hadn't realized Vera had noticed him, but when words came into the mix it soon became apparent the creature was aware of his presence. Not that'd he'd been trying to be subtle to begin with, though. His hand dropped from the air, the waves returning to their natural volume, and he flicked out a tongue as he stared at Vera's vitals with a touch of adrenaline rushing in his system. "Oh--I apologize. I have disturbed you." He scuttled around to the other side of the tree and placed his back against it, embarrassed. "It's ok. Don't mind it." She stopped humming for a second, then continued to hum again, looking out for Uldrix's response. "You like that? It's Draconian." Whether or not Uldrix cared, it didn't matter. It was a nice opportunity to share her dying culture with others.

It was a nice opportunity to share her dying culture with others. "I-I do." Uldrix murmured, his words forming a dark pink cloud in front of his beak as he squirmed nervously. "Your voice is very soothing, as is your language. I enjoy it greatly." His words were halted as a voice with no sound waves reached him. He turned around curiously, quickly scampering back out into the open. He glanced at Vera. "Did you hear that?" He whispered. "How strange..." He shrieked loudly to get a map of his surroundings, focusing in on the center of town. He swiped nervously at his face when he remembered Freyja's warning. He had a bad feelings about this. And yet, he'd never had anything speak to him in such a strange manor. His interest was peaked, however, and once something caught his attention it was hard for him to ignore it. "I'm going to go somewhere to rest." He lied to Vera. The dark brown tone that came from his beak was foreign to see from his own mouth. Why did he feel the need to lie about this? Slipping out of sight, he used his lodestone to make his steps virtually silent as he shot off towards the center of the town, taking one of the longest routes in order to avoid running into other bodies.

"My name is Monaiya Hokania! Nice to meet ya!"
"Hmm...."
That a good question. That she remembered what Freyja said.
"Oh! I think she was looking for an an inn"
She points to the direction Freyja went.
"She went this way."

A voice sounded out in Kyanalurin's head, beckoning her to the tree, and confusion immediately filled her. "God damn, everything is so weird, first giant fluffly crystal mom monsters and now this." After a bit of walking about the town and generally ignoring the voice, Kyanalurin decided to finally give into her boredom and listen to the voice. Well, saying that she listened to 'the voices' was never something she could say she intended to do. So, the tree Freyja spoke of...it was in the center of the town, presumably, so if its out with everyone else, it can't be all that harmful, right? She took a remote route around the town, just to get a long distance glimpse of the tree. After all, Freyja said not to go anywhere near it. She wasn't stupid enough to get close, or touch it for that matter.

Alfie didn't hesitate any longer, and ran off in the direction Monaiya pointed him in. It took him merely a few minutes before finally stumbling upon the bounty hunter, who was extremely on edge after hearing the voice. "Freyja! I have a package for you!" The woman nearly jumped out of her boots when she heard Alfie shout to her, surprised to even see him out here. Without saying anything else, Alfie placed the bag down in front of her, bowed, and left all before Freyja could even thank him. Inside the bag, an array of meats, bread and drinks were assorted This would be enough to get the group through the night. Freyja smiled, glad that her uncle even thought to do this.
As Uldrix approached the tree, it was truly a sight to behold. This was no 'tree,' or at least, not by human standards. The Tree of Zil'Carm, as legends state, is the only area in all of Shakwen that is constantly and consistently in contact with The Aged's dimension. The tree, pale and colorless, swayed back and forth in a light motion, nothing particularly strange about it. That is, until it woke up. Eyes burst open from the bark of the tree, all locked on Uldrix. However, the tree did nothing. It simply stood there and stared at the Avenaudi. All was eerily quiet, until a voice broke the silence. "Hello." It was the voice of a child. "I'm Vaalzys."Behind Uldrix sat a child whose hair appeared to contain the cosmos itself. Stars and galaxies shown light a perfect night sky would whilst the child stared at this strange creature before him. "Are you here...to be my friend? Strange....you aren't who I called to..."

Suddenly she heard a voice in her head, beconing. She winced as it reverberated in her skull. As the last echoes faded away she felt a nearly irresistible pull towards the center of the town, the very place where Freyja had told them not to go. Screw her rules. Myrri had been fine on her own her whole life and didn't need to follow stupid rules. 'Did you hear that?' Myrri asked, then spoke again, her voice falling to a whisper, 'That voice. ' Myrri took a step to the side and started walking towards town, not waiting for a reply. She figured if he heard it too and wanted to follow, he could. If not, she was going to find the voice on her own.

'I guess your right. However, ever since I've joined she's singled me out to either humiliate me or insult me. If she is truly worrying about the rest here, or even me I'd like her to find another method.' She was now pouting. Rory chewed on her lip gently and nodded. "Yeah she's been pretty hard on you... I don't think agree with how she's treated you, but maybe that's her own brand of tough love?" She tried to give her a reassuring grin, patting her back with her wing. "Oh! I think she was looking for an an inn" She points to the direction Freyja went. "She went this way." Rory smiled at the Umbranite and the new face, waving her wing at the pretty girl in the military uniform, Monaiya having already answered the question. Stepping forward, she spread her wings and began the introductions. "Hello! Are you here to join us? I'm Rory, it's nice to meet you! What's your name?" As she waited for an answer, an unfamiliar voice passed through her consciousness. Huh..? "Hey.... Did you guys hear that...?" she asked quietly, looking around at the other faces standing around her. Did anyone else hear the voice? She glanced around the area, watching if anyone else had a similar perplexed reaction to her. Who else would be out here in the middle of the outskirts? The appearance of one new face already surprised her, but could someone else be wandering around as well? She had to at least go check. After waiting a few more moments she excused herself. "I'm sorry, I'll be right back," she chirped, flapping her wings a couple of times before taking off into the air. Freyja had said to stay away from the tree at the center of town but... just a quick fly by the tree would be alright, wouldn't it? She soared over the town, looking around for the center before landing near the tree, feeling somewhat uneasy as she touched down on the ground. "Hello? Is someone lost?" She noticed Uldrix too had come to the center of town, already standing there by the time she landed. That's when something... peculiar happened with the tree. Multiple eyes opened and locked onto the lizard man Rory let out a crow of surprise, covering her mouth with her wings and watching as a strange child appeared behind Uldrix, her eyes darting between the tree and the figure as she tried to process the situation.

Startled when the faint outline of eye-like structures formed, he backed away suddenly, crouching into a defensive stance. Uldrix spun around, still on all fours, as the new name was presented to him. He went about his usual method of pairing vitals to the name for later use...but something was incredibly off about the insides of this boy. He'd never seen anything like it before. He backed away once more, this time back towards the tree, favoring this strange form to the one before him currently. Uldrix had no words for him. He was too confused to answer.

The boy stared at the strange being before him, clearly confused. He'd never seen anything like it. He began to walk forward, holding his hand out as though to try and pet it. "Do you want to be my friend?" He asked again. The hand he held out was covered in stars, similarly to the child's hair. "I see you brought your own friends..." He whispered, referring to Kyanalurin, Rory and the approaching Myrri. "Do they want to play too?"
Freyja was nearly ready to give up her search for an inn, when she stumbled upon a single inn at the very edge of town, just outside of the forest. The woman stepped inside, having to duck her head under the somewhat smaller door, to view an incredibly dusty and aged building. She frowned as she knew she'd hear certain members complain about this, and decided it'd be best to tidy the place up so she wouldn't have to get chewed out as much. "God, I just want this all to be over. The tower is right there..uuuuuugh." She complained to herself as she scoured the area for some sort of cloth to start cleaning with.

He managed to growl out, his body tensed as he tried to make sense of whatever this creature was in front of him. He took in a deep breath, trying to settle his nerves. Just because the child was a stranger, did not mean he was out to hurt him. He'd met many strange things in the last few days. Perhaps the boy was just another late member of the search party. For now, he decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. "P-Please do not touch me." He said in less aggressive voice, although it was still clear he was wary of him.
