"Alright," Albany nodded, liking this response much better than the previous one before Cyrus's clarification. "Now, allow me to push this a bit further before we move on. That not great feeling you have at the thought of your partner getting hurt? That's how HE feels with the knowledge that you could get involved in further acts of violence, with the possibility of enjoying such acts as well. You are the friend, Alti, or in this case soulmate. The one that is hurting Cyrus." "What?" Alti looked up from his spot on the ground up to Albany's face in disbelief, more bewildered by her reasoning than offended by it. At first, he was completely prepared to dismiss her ludicrous claim, but as he let it digest for a few moments, he reluctantly began to notice... some bearing to the housewife's words. Cyrus did admit to being uneasy with certain behaviors of his, after all, and since he and the other blonde did seem to be on the same page concerning said uneasiness, then maybe what she was saying was true? But how was that the case, then? Surely, if anything was going south in their relationship, the scientist would've spoken up about it, right? That 'not great' feeling started creeping in at a disturbing speed, and whether it was directed towards his mixed feelings at Albany's 'point' or the many self-generated 'what ifs' he was forced to recollect to get to said 'point' he wasn't sure, but he knew he wanted it to stop. Feelings absolutely sucked. He looked from one to the other, ultimately ignoring the woman's other question in favor of, let's call it, gaining a better understanding of her earlier claims. "What? No! No, that's stupid!" he spat at the lady counselor, "I'm not hurting him! Not in that way....." he trailed off, his expression softening as he turned back to face his soulmate, "... right?"

He stared at Cyrus, his external barricade weakening a tad as he forced himself to process those unsettling thoughts from the previous night all over again. He glanced between the two and frowned, slowly turning back to the center and leaning back in his chair. With his eyes still focused on the ground, he tightened his crossed arms and gave a light shrug before making the decision to speak. "I'unno..." he grumbled quietly. "... Not great, I guess...." Cyrus's cheeks flushed a little bit as Alti remedied his answer, glancing off to the side and sighing a little bit with relief, a bit more of the doubt scrubbed away as Alti indirectly confirmed that he cared at least a little about how he felt. The housewife then spoke up once more. "Alright," Albany nodded, liking this response much better than the previous one before Cyrus's clarification. "Now, allow me to push this a bit further before we move on. That not great feeling you have at the thought of your partner getting hurt? Cyrus grimaced a little bit as the counselor drove her final point home before changing topics, hesitantly looking over at his protesting partner although still not making eye contact. He wasn't too sure how he felt about that final nail in the coffin, still flooded with that overwhelming sense of uneasiness that began once she started dredging up the details of their relationship. But he wasn't quite ready to shift gears yet. Not after she just steamrolled over the sense of security that the two seemed to have. The scientist faltered for a moment and glanced to the side as if searching the air for the correct words to use before opening his mouth. "I-I dunno about these loaded words this lady keeps using but... it does get pretty damn stressful when I have to worry so much, y'know?" His fingers brushed through his hair a few times, tousling it in the back. "You've been trying to stay out of the fights lately... but with how much fun you seem to get out of them I still end up worrying a little bit," he mumbled sheepishly.

His fingers brushed through his hair a few times, tousling it in the back. "You've been trying to stay out of the fights lately... but with how much fun you seem to get out of them I still end up worrying a little bit," he mumbled sheepishly. His saddened expression morphed into one of shock after the scientist confirmed the housewife's hunch before slowly settling into a heated snarl directed at his soulmate. What sense does that make? Going into this, he thought he had a good enough grasp on his partner's feelings toward all things punching, kicking, and sometimes throwing, but now he truly felt clueless. It seemed as if no matter what he ended up doing, whether he behaved himself or if he raised absolute hell, his partner would still be displeased with him to some degree, which brought some rather unsettling concerns to mind. You don't trust me? You'll worry whenever? Is it really the fighting that bothers you or.. is it...? Whatever. he thought, shaking the bad vibes away soon after. Whatever the case may have been, there was no changing the severe levels of disappointment he'd been feeling ever since their relationship's security had been breached. After the smoke from the infamous first date had cleared, he was under the impression that things were looking up for the two of them, yet, unbeknownst to him the opposite was happening probably the entire time. Even during the better dates.... Ugh. Alti uncrossed his arms as he turned in his chair to face the scientist, his face reddening in annoyance at that last sentiment despite the more vulnerable vibes his soulmate was giving off. "Wh-! So even if I don't get involved, you'll still get stressed?" he pleaded, "How is that even fair? I'm actually making an effort to fix that for you! What more could I possibly do?"

So even if I don't get involved, you still get stressed?" he pleaded, "How is that even fair? I'm actually making an effort to fix that for you! What more could I possibly do?" Alti's response immediately had Cyrus on the defensive, the man physically mirroring his emotional clamming up with the tightening of his arms and shoulders. "I just said that I've noticed you trying to stay out of them! And I'm glad! Really! Fucking! Glad!" he snapped before gritting his teeth into a frustrated grimace, raising his voice. "But fuck, Alti, when all the idiots start heating up, I still get pretty damn worried that what happened on that first date is gonna happen again." His knuckles turned white as he rhythmically worried the cloth of his sleeves between his fingers, any attempts to soothe himself falling flat. "And now that you just admitted that you have fun hurting other people, what the hell am I supposed to think, huh!? Was that little shitty feeling in my gut right? What if you get sick of sitting it out, or get sick of me?!" Cyrus now attempted to cover any of the wavers in his voice with brute force and volume, lowering his voice a few moments after blowing off that steam. "I like you a lot, otherwise I wouldn't have fucking bothered trying to excuse the problems when talking to this bitch," he gestured carelessly in Mrs. Vinaigrette's direction, staring over at Alti. "But what am I supposed to think after you just confessed that you like hurting people that don't want it?"

I don't know," Alti sarcastically hissed, leaning slightly forward to make his yelling clearer to his soulmate-turned-opponent, "Maybe that you don't know what you're talking about and are just making assumptions and jumping to conclusions like this hag," he said, tilting his head off to the side in the direction of their exasperated therapist, "wants you to! I just fucking said that the people I hurt aren't 'victims' in my book! They're complete shit and I like seeing them suffer, OK?" "Also, let's just get one thing straight here!" he spat, pointing a finger at Cyrus, "That fight you love mentioning so much only happened because Vale fucked up first. And you can't even say he 'didn't want it', cuz' he told me to kick his ass, remember?" Alti sat back up and re-crossed his arms before he continued, the red on his face almost refusing to fade. "So unless anyone else here has a death sentence in mind, what happened on the first date ain't gonna happen again." Lowering his voice just a tad, he leaned heavily against his chair, his eyes still focused on his soulmate's as his tone shifted from angry to just plain irritated. "And oh my god, you're bringing that up again?" he inquired, almost pouting at the scientist's incessant worrying, "I thought we settled that last week that you're not boring me. You're...... fun. The way I see it, I won't get sick of 'sitting' it out because I simply can't get sick of you! I do have some control, you know?" His eyes narrowed as he began to internally question some of his soulmate's past actions before speaking. "Where's all this worry coming from, anyway? Do you just not trust me or what?"

Cyrus had now entered a similar combative pose as Alti had, leaning forward in his chair to make sure his words came across loud and clear. "Well guess what, I'm a fucking scientist not a goddamn mind-reader! I unfortunately don't GET to just magically know things, so unless you elaborate how the fuck am I supposed to understand, huh!?" Each important word was punctuated with a small flourish of his wrist, his frustration manifesting itself in the slight trembling of his hand. "Also, let's just get one thing straight here!" he spat, pointing a finger at Cyrus, "That fight you love mentioning so much only happened because Vale fucked up first. I just fucking said, if I felt threatened by you I would've bought that goddamn plane ticket weeks ago!" he blurted out the moment those words left his partner's mouth, his heart pounding. The scientist had let his guard down momentarily, tense shoulders lowered slightly from their position near his jawline. The flat out admission that the fighting wouldn't happen again was... pretty comforting. But he didn't even need to question why that persistent little worry was continuing to itch at the back of his mind, fully aware of where it had stemmed from. "But I can't fucking help it, alright? I'm gonna worry. When I hear 'I like hurting people' it doesn't exactly evoke nice thoughts. It's still early in the relationship and I gotta just... make sure my own ass is protected." He sat back in his chair again, the hue of his irritation still lingering in his cheeks.

"Working out?" Albany squinted at the headless individual. "Please, elaborate. You wouldn't have mentioned it if it wasn't important to you, Aberdeen.
She glanced over at Amil, who had also shared a bit. "Alright, than Ami. Then let's skip forward a tad. How was your relationship with your family AFTER you were 18? When things started getting worse, based on your statements?"
Albany smiled at Maicy, "I'm glad to hear it wasn't as bad as some of the other aspects of your life. Having a good relationship with your parents is important to healthy development as a child, and I can see some of that reflected in you today."
"Piami, I'm sorry to hear that," Her eyes softened. "Divorce can be hard. But please, do continue. I'm sure your soulmate would appreciate knowing more about you, since you two seem to be so drastically different."
"Your aura situation?" This seemed to have captured Albany's attention, but she left the question hanging, not pressing but clearly expecting a response in return.
"Elaborate," Albany said in response to Galystris. Since it seemed the woman didn't appreciate small talk, she wouldn't waste any extra words on her. Short and to the point.
Even though the two were fighting and occasionally making negative remarks towards her and her son, Albany beamed at them as though she were going to give them a gold star. "Excellent, excellent! Real communication here!" She clasped her hands together, pleased with the progress being made. She eyed Alti a bit and her smile became less cheerful and resumed its oddly neutral appearance. "Alti, this kind of discussion needs to happen between you and your partner more regularly. You may not be as concerned about these talks, but its clear Cyrus is. I want you both to practice opening up to each other before bed every night. Discussing things that happened that excited you and presenting the issues that you weren't comfortable with. You both have uncertainties here, and working this into your daily routine will help you grow closer and smooth over those uneasy ridges that I so easily formed with a few questions. You need to strengthen your trust in one another and not ignore these thoughts." The last sentence she directed at Cyrus.
She looked a bit around the room again to survey how everyone else was doing with her other question. There was a moment her and her son made eye contact. Her smile fell entirely and she averted her eyes.
She didn't press him for any information like she had the others.

She glanced over at Amil, who had also shared a bit. "Alright, than Ami. Then let's skip forward a tad. How was your relationship with your family AFTER you were 18? When things started getting worse, based on your statements?" Aberdeen looked confused at Albany's assumption, glancing around the room as she addressed everyone else before the fighter spoke up again. "Uh, I don't know. We just started working out a lot. Exercising was a 'bonding' experience in my step dad's eyes." They air-quoted bonding before continuing. "I mean, it was a good way to get out any pent up frustration. The main thing he had me try was boxing. And I got pretty good at it. I don't know, there wasn't much else to that." They shrugged. The fighter's head appeared a teal-ish color as they tried their best to keep themself from getting sick at the mention of Heavy and referring to the man as their step father.
Amil frowned at Albany, and let out a sigh. "Oh." He simply muttered as his nails dug into his thighs. He let out a nervous chuckle as his eyes locked onto the floor, not planning on raising his head any time soon. "Heheh... Like I said, my parents are super religious. In college, I was engaged to this guy and he was really pushing for me to come out, since his parents were okay with him being gay, so after a TON of convincing, I decided he was probably right.." A wry grin spread across the man's face as he kept his eyes locked onto the tile, his fingers beginning to split the skin open on this legs. "Uh... I visited my parents one day, driving like an hour from the college and when I came out... uh.. my dad kinda..heheh..." The man's voice began wavering as he tried to keep himself from getting too emotional. "My dad grabbed his hunting rifle..... and shot at me...Heheh." Amil's thighs began to bleed as his nails sunk deeper and deeper into his skin. "Not that it matters now. Clearly it was for nothing cuz that guy and I aren't together anymore. Obviously..." He removed one hand from his leg to gesture over to Nace's collapsed body before returning it to the freshly opened wounds. "It's fine, though. I don't really care. I don't miss them. They were shitty to begin with. Its nice to not have my parents breathing down my back and asking me about my life choices 24/7." Amil's head hung low, the man beginning to either chuckle or cry. With the way he was hunched over, it was unclear.

Maicy smiled back.
"Yeah, my home life is pretty chill. One of the things that helped me keep going."
Her expresion soften, however, as she hear the other's homelife story.
"Hm.." Maicy looked down as her partner talked about their step father. Judging by the air-quotes, seems like their father is a not good person. She remember taking note what Aberdeen said during the 2 Truths 1 Lie game.
That statement begins to make more sense now.
Piami gulped. "Uh... well...."
She looked down.
"My mother cheated on my dad who was not being happy with his life at the time. I don't really remember why dad was unhappy." Piami looked back up at Albany. "But... that's what happened. After that, mainly my entire family feel apart, since the man my mother was dating was.... not a good man...."
Just then looked over and heard the other's family life.
Piami's wise widen as she heard what happened with Amil's home life.
Yeah, she's a little bit a afraid of him (not so much as Vale before this session.) but no one deserves that type of home life..

Alti winced at his partner's final declaration, his embittered eyes now trailing down to the floor beside him soon after. He experienced only a brief sense of relief after the scientist's blunt announcement that he actually trusted him, only to tighten up again once he found out the worrying would never stop. It was bittersweet, but he didn't care to question it. How could he, after all? It wasn't like the topic of 'hurting people' --and the enjoyment of said practice-- was something he felt he could debate well with other people --or at all, really. Pain is generally seen as a bad thing to those who perceive it naturally, so his partner's aversion to it wasn't abnormal, no matter what the true source of his worry turned out to be. "Alright...." he muttered softly, examining the ground for the right words when suddenly a loud clasp of the hands broke him away from his search. "Excellent, excellent! Real communication here!" She clasped her hands together, pleased with the progress being made. She eyed Alti a bit and her smile became less cheerful and resumed its oddly neutral appearance. He jumped in his seat as the counselor abruptly brought him back into the session and began weaving their discussion back into the conversation. Trembling slightly from the unwanted shock, he reluctantly listened to what the old broad had to say before turning his whole body around to face her again. " E-Every night?" Alti asked, taking a second to shake off some of the more tense emotions before continuing, "Heh, don't you think that's a bit... much? I mean, it's still pretty early in the relationship and even though talking about 'what excites us' doesn't sound too bad, I don't...." he trailed off to take a quick glance at his partner in all his vague and critical glory, "I don't know if talking about what we don't like about each other is exactly what we need right now." He forcefully leaned back further into his chair, making an effort to not look as offended as he felt, looking around at the mother for a few moments hoping they weren't paying him much attention. He raised an eyebrow at the other scantily clad experimentee just a seat over, only now realizing he never once cared enough to listen to anyone else's woes to know what prompted such a drastic change in demeanor. Tragic.

Alraada knew she said too much. She didn't want to lie of course, she knew this was for her benefit. But it was possible that someone would know about the situation of she went too much into detail. "There was a thing that happened...and uh...I lost my supernatural aura...." She immediately regret speaking. She slipped up in the past, but she said it publicly (sort of). "...P-please don't hate me....." She couldn't help but say. She knew she was saying too much, and now everyone saw her blubbering like an idiot. Again. and reveal herself to be the abomination she was this time. "W-wow holy fuck look at me go with the personal stuff. Someone just shut me up right now...haha...." She spoke, her new happy tone shown to be very unconvincing. ------------------ Galystris chuckled, still not looking up from her book. "Hmm, ok. Maybe I'll give you some details." She spoke almost dismissively, glancing only briefly over at the therapist. "I was born in a military hospital, grew up in a shelter away from my single living parent who was fighting. When I was thirteen I would join her in that fight, despite the fact that she wanted to do away with me. Family isn't something anyone bothered with for me." She spoke, seemingly unfazed by her own words. She seemed to be unnaturally fine with her 'family life.' (( cassiroll))

Cyrus felt his heart drop slightly as Alti responded dejectedly, his gaze sharpening as he glared at the applauding housewife who treated this quarrel like some kind of spectacle. As much as he knew he was one to argue and bitch and moan about what was on his mind, to have them pushed and prodded at by this third party had his nerves prickling with irritation. "Yeah seriously... We're 2 fucking weeks in. Isn't it better and healthier to do this, y'know, in our own damn time? Sure you made some ripples in the water but hell, the politician-tiers of loaded wording would cause anyone to stir emotionally. That's what these mind games are geared for, yeah?" He grumbled, gritting his teeth at her final comment geared towards him. "And I'm not ignoring them! I know exactly what these thoughts are and why they're here and that they're stupid and irrational, I know that it's my own goddamn problem!" The chair trembled as he slammed his hand against his thigh. "So like all my other problems, I gotta take care of it by myself. It's my baggage and mine alone and I can figure it out eventually, just like always. You don't know anything!" he retorted childishly and dropped his gaze to the floor. The other conversations now that his argument with Alti had died down now blipped on the edges of his radar, a couple key gut-churningly familiar buzzwords catching his attention more than others. He shot the blubbering cake decoration a silent glance before frowning and looking back at the spot on the floor he'd visually claimed as his own, partially wondering what other conversation he'd missed and partially stewing in his ever-present irritation and guilt.

"And how was your relationship with your step-father?" Albany pressed, still not seeming to be done with them. Hearing Amil's story had her swiveling in her chair, worry in her eyes. "Have you talked to your partner about this incident?" She also gestured to Nace. "Homophobia was something both my son and this brute were lucky enough to not be severely exposed to. Our religious beliefs do not condone it as a sin, as some do, and marriage in general is much more open. I think having this talk with your partner could help him get to know you more. Help him see things through your eyes." "That's quite unfortunate..." She looked over at Galystris, clearly expecting a response from the partner, but getting none. "You don't have to go into more detail if you don't want to," Albany whispered to Alraada with a motherly tone. Vale gently squeezed her good shoulder. "Yeah, we can talk in private if you want, darling. They don't have to know everything." Another meaningful glance between mother and son before Albany moved back to Galystris. "So you're fine with all of that? None of that bothers you at all?" Albany shrugged. "Ultimately, its your choice. I can't direct you past this session." Albany allowed this blow up without saying a word until it was finished, her hands crossed pleasantly in her lap. "If this topic concerns you then we'll move onto the next one. The one both of you skipped?" She looked between the two men. "Any family life you'd like to talk about Alti..." She noticed the glance the salt pillar gave Amil, "... or Cyrus?"

Albany pressed, still not seeming to be done with them. Help him see things through your eyes." Aberdeen 'furrowed their brow' at the continued onslaught of questions, the fighter shifting uncomfortably in their chair as the conversation began heading down a path they'd rather not go down. Their head evaporated into an almost green trail of smoke as they let out a sigh. "It was, uh... i don't know. Bad, I guess. Not that I deal with him anymore." They stated. "I don't really wanna talk about my family anymore. I said earlier, there's nothing to really talk about." They asserted themself.
Amil's fit stopped for a moment when he heard Albany speak up about religion and talking with his partner, the man's face contorting into a scowl. He looked back up at Albany, no tears on his face but instead a look of pure anger. "It already came up between Nace and I, unfortunately." He said, his tone laced with venom. "And yes, I'm sure Nace and your brute are very lucky to have grown up in such an accepting, religious environment." He glanced down at his partner and back towards Vale. He looked back towards Albany, rage still present in his eyes despite his calm tone. "It's not like he'd care if I brought it up again. I brought it up the first time and all we did was brush it aside. And y'know what, it worked!" His mouth twisted into a wicked grin. "The only thing that would become more apparent is my hatred towards my family and the distaste for anyone who reminds me of them." He chuckled as his eyes looked back towards the watermelon luchador. "People who aren't willing to give someone a chance for one main reason. Over something they can't control. People who are willing to push away someone and block them out and HATE them for that reason. And people who like to play the victim and act surprised that my hatred comes out as a response to theirs." He spat venom with every word. "Not that Nace is any better than my family in that regard." He muttered, his smile fading. "After all, his hatred towards supers ignites that disgust in my stomach. And its something I've been trying to help him get past. But I guess when it comes to violence, old habits die hard."

"That's quite unfortunate..." She looked over at Galystris, clearly expecting a response from the partner, but getting none. Piami looked back down. "He talked extremly harshly to everyone, some cases using words I don't wanna repeat, and blamed everyone else in my family for his problems. He almost reached the physical level that hurts, due to the fact he was drinking... a lot." Piami looked down even further. "It gotten so bad to the point where everyone's attitude became so sour. My mom became depressed, two of my older siblings, Mayano and Kiyonto, hated everyone in the family, including me and my eldest brother, Tensai. Tensai himself has a lot of trust issues with the family." Piami gripped her skirt a little tightly. "At the time.. I couldn't really take it anymore. I had to go to Gemlight Academy, since that school had dorm rooms." Piami looked back up at Albany with light smile "And joining the School Idol Club is what helped me feel better from my home life at the time. I always wanted to sing and joining that club really helped." Her smile faded as she looked back down. " At the time, at least."
Maicy heard more of Piami's story. Her eyebrow raised and she thought about it for a moment. I feel like I heard this story before.... like mom was telling me something her friend's side of the family had gone through that similar to what Piami's has gone through...Maicy would have to think hard about this later. Right now, she had to listen what Aberdeen had to say. Maicy looked down. She begins to feel really bad that Aberdeen didn't had a good family life. Maicy reach over and patted Aberdeen's back.
