"You certainly came prepared," she said with a light, nervous smile, "but that's good! I-I think you'll do well here. I'm Valerie Masset. Um... I'm now to show you around the building. We can look around upstairs first, if you'd like," She said, waving her arm to the side in a gesture for Evangeline to leave the room first. Evangeline noticed her guide eyeing her bag some, the ends of her lips curling up into a confident smirk after the other made her remark. "Oh, why of course I came prepared! Only the finest princesses, one of them being yours truly--" she boasted with a hand to her heart, "always prepare themselves for every possible contingency! Just a few minutes ago, I pulled something out of this bag that I'm most definitely sure got me the highest mark in my class! Yes, let's go!" She gave a cocky giggle at that last statement, walking ahead of Valerie in the hallway, her bag rolling smoothly behind her. "You like it?" she asked referring to the carry-on, looking over her shoulder to make sure the other was paying attention, "It's custom-made~ There isn't anything else like it in the entire world, and it costs quite a pretty penny, too~" Her talking came to a halt once she arrived at the foot of the stairs, looking back over to Valerie as if she were expecting something. " Ahem." hinted Evangeline to her skittish companion, occasionally glancing down at the bag, then to the stairs, then back up at her. Did she have to spell it out?

Just a few minutes ago, I pulled something out of this bag that I'm most definitely sure got me the highest mark in my class! Yes, let's go!" "Ooh, congratulations on your first magical performance, then!" Valerie said cheerily. She was glad to have someone who was in such a good mood. "Amazing," Valerie said in quiet wonder. She certainly did get someone cool to show around. Someone who was so sure of themselves. It was a very nice presence. "Yes, the bag is very pretty!" "Ah yes! I suppose it should be my duty to show you a bit of magic then, hmm?" Valerie said with a smile. She was becoming more comfortable with Evangeline and was quite enjoying her time around her. She was excited to be able to show her something Evangeline herself could surely do in time. "Babaru!" Valerie chanted in a medium voice, grasping her bubble wand as it appeared before her. She then blew into the small end and a bubble soon encased Evangeline's belongings, carefully floating up to the top of the steps to the second floor. The bubble popped cleanly and showed Evangeline's things to be safely at the top with little effort. Due to Valerie being much more comfortable and not being watched by many people, her spell was performed nicely and its caster felt calm. She smiled at her companion. "There you go! Magic is quite fun, isn't it?"

She happily heads with her group to the sports grounds and when they arrive Bianca immediately goes into an happy hyper mode as she holds both of her teammates hands and jumps up and down, giggling ''Can you guys believe it?? We are in the same team!! This is the best day of my life!!'' She looks at both of them with her eyes shining in joy, expecting them to be just as happy as she is. Alice, however, wasn't brimming with joy, and instead she rolled her eyes. Why do we have to do stupid first day activities can't they let just do whatever we feel like? And, to add insult to injury, she got paired up with the annoying subject who refused to break and the one whose magic was ranked below her and yet her spell made hers look insignificant. What was that all about?"I don't know what we're doing here," Alice said as she broke the silence caused by her ponderings. "But whatever they have planned is beneath me. We just got done with our demonstrations; we don't need to do this." She was adamant; whatever the sports grounds represented was probably something physically demanding, and the chosen activity would more than likely end up with her all dirty and sweaty. No, thanks.

Erine smiled towards Valerie, nodding in approval of the girl's presentation before turning to face the front of the class. Just as Valerie had hoped, her stumble had gone unnoticed, at least by Erine, who now had turned her attention once more to the front of the class ready to observe the rest of her fellow students' presentations. Erine listened to each speech and watched each presentation dutifully, compensating for the blunder she had made earlier. After the final presentation, orienteering was announced.
Erine blinked, considering the name and what sort of person it could belong to. She thought of her own self during first year orienteering- how she feel out of place in such a large and illustrious school and how orienteering helped her discover the fencing team. The third year rose to her feet, crisp white slip of paper in hand and joined her other students in their trek down to the first floor. Erine's interest peaked when she spotted both Valerie and Yue entering the same class room as her, 1-B, prompting her to consider asking them if they wanted to pair up before quickly deciding better of it.
Erine entered the classroom and peered out into the sea of new students before raising her voice and calling out to the crowd, "Hyaku Ashi. I'm your orienteering guide."

Hyaku sat at her seat facing the front of the classroom. The name "Stella" was called out, but this did not spark Hyaku's interest. At the side of Hyaku's head, facing Yue, rested a magic glowing circle. A raspy whispering voice let out, " p a e i . A s o m i p s c n i d u ." These letters were the only audible noises. Hyaku then began to look around the room while still sitting in her seat. These students look like easy prey, but all of the students here have magic abilities. We know not to approach them without caution. She was now being aware of her surroundings. Perhaps a bit too aware, to the point where it was kind of weird. She quickly diverted her eyes when her name was called out. Erine entered the classroom and peered out into the sea of new students before raising her voice and calling out to the crowd, "Hyaku Ashi. I'm your orienteering guide." Hyaku swerved up to Erine and responded with an immediate reply, "I am Hyaku Ashi. Pleasure, what is your name? You are my orentear guy?" Her speaking voice sounded similar to a foreigner attempting to speak English for the first time. The sound of her speaking was likely to give a chill of second hand embarrassment, though Hyaku took it completely seriously. Introductions are simple. It looks like we have this all figured out.
Hyaku was just starting to figure a few things, which was giving her more confidence than she needed.

"Do you want to get going? There's a lot of the school to see," Erine considered where to go first, what Hyaku would enjoy the most... or maybe she should leave that for the end? Perhaps it would be best to just follow the same order that she went in during her time orienteering, her guide did a good job.

Now, that wasn't precisely the message she was giving off with the fake cough, but after her tour guide summoned a bubble wand out of thin air and used its magic --her magic-- to carry her things up the stairs without either of them having to labor themselves with the task, she couldn't exactly complain. In fact, she was too impressed and fascinated to complain, although she refused to let it show on her face. That still didn't stop her eyes from staring wondrously at the feat, her mind abuzz with thoughts of Wow, that's wonderful! and Could I be able to do that, too? She turned back over to Valerie, her eyes still displaying remnants of that excited twinkle despite her relatively professional expression. She cleared her throat once again --this time to shake out any possible stammering-- before she spoke. "Uhm, yes! I look forward to studying it!" she blurted, a pink hue stretching across her face at the embarrassing response. Get it together! She took the lead up the stairs to hide her flushed face and wheeled her supplies away as she looked around the 2nd floor. "So, this is where the upperclassmen are taught, correct?" she inquired.

Valerie laughed at the girl's response lightheartedly. She then scurried along to catch up, and to talk a bit about the floor. "Yes, this is for the second years." She stopped at a particular room, "This was... my classroom. 2-B," The rooms were all empty this floor besides the third years showing around the first years. Valerie didn't stop for long and went towards the other stairway that lead to the third floor. She decided to make a bit of small talk on their way. "H-have you chosen a club you'd like to be in? I've been in baking club since my first year. I recommend it, i-it's fun."

Oh boy, one of these things... She sighed to herself, remembering the third year that led her around, who was way too energetic for Yue's tastes. She wasn't going to make that mistake with those first years: they were going to learn that this school is as soul sucking as it was huge. She rose from her half-awake state and casually trudged down the stairs to the first floor, thankful the other students were keeping the door open once again. "Hello, this is Yue Wang. I'm looking for Stella Blackwood," She flatly stated, peering her eyes around every corner she could manage. A white haired girl caught her eye, with strange hairclips adorning her scalp, complete with an expression whose blankness rivaled hers. In an odd sort of way, she connected with the other girl, but it was incredibly unlikely that she would lead her around. Now all she had to do was wait for the bright eyed little twit to run up to her. Hell, a lot of them would be all 'Oh my goodness you're so tiny!" PenguinStella was waiting patiently for the 3rd year student with a big smille on her face. Meeting more people meant more friends! And what was better than meeting an upperclassmate of hers as she lead her around the school. Stella was really pumped up to the point she was jumping up and down to her seat. Finally, the girl heard someone calling her name. She looked at the orgin of the voice. A short, sleepy looking girl was the one who called hher. She looked really small for a third year, but Stella surely didnt mind that. The small girl had introduced her Yue Wang, which was indeed the name of the girl that is supposed to guide her around school, so Stella knew that she was no mistaken. She uproached the third year with a bright smille on her face " Oh! Its me! I am Stella Blackwood!! Nice to meet you Yue!" Stella chimmed

Stella chimmed Her eyes met the gaze of the student she was going to lead around, the energy bursting from the underclassman borderline sickening. There was no way she was going to be able to keep up with that level of excitement, and she didn't even want to bother. Hell, she wasn't going to bother with courtesies. It wasn't worth it. "Ok cool. I'll show you around." She expressed, a huge, unimpressed expression plastered across her face. Just as she thought: this 1st year was taller. Anyone who didn't know better would immediately peg her the freshman, but hopefully her demeanor would dispel those sentiments: overexcited freshmen were as common as they come. "So I'm supposed to lead you around the school, so I'll just take you to the library first. I don't want to walk," she led her pupil of sorts to the staircase, lightly skipping down the steps like they belonged to her. In a sense, she did. She ushered the freshman down. Then again, it was extremely likely she'd just barrel down the steps, so she'd had to move to the side to better suit her. She wasn't going to get knocked over today, no sir.

Erine was at first taken aback, however, she did her best to not show it. The girl sounded foreign... Erine would have to do her best to be welcoming to her. Hyaku replied to Erine as she crawled towards the door, "Yes, get going." We are seeing the school now huh? This gives us a chance to observe the whole area. It's the objective we've been waiting for. Let our examination process commence.Hyaku seemed interested in searching around the school despite her face not showing it, or anything in general. She began by examining Erine. A tall human. She may be hiding some magic power.Hyaku then turned her attention to the door. This mechanism could be used to trap someone for an extended period of time, but in another time period.Hyaku didn't realize she was in crawl position yet.

Erine marched on ahead, making her way to the stairwell to the second floor and then climbing up them without a second thought. However. Something was off. She did not heard a second sound of foot steps, at least not in the same tone as her own. Erine turned around and peered down the stairwell, only to find her freshman on her hands and knees. The upperclassmen let out a gasp and rushed back down the flight of stairs, and then quickly kneeling down at Hyaku's side. "Are you okay? Did you fall?" Erine's voice was calm, yet concerned. She needed to keep composure around the younger students, afterall, to help set them at ease. Erine then held out here hand, expectantly waiting for Hyaku to take it and stand up if able.

Erine then held out here hand, expectantly waiting for Hyaku to take it and stand up if able. This time, Hyaku didn't need an excuse for being on the floor since one was already provided. Of course, we forgot.Hyaku stood up on her own and replied, "I have... dropped. Ouch. Pesky drop.." Similar to the tone she has used in the past, her voice put in no effort. Responding to Erine's held out hand, Hyaku reached it for a handshake. "It is- a pleasure.. E- Erine" Hyaku said as she shook Erine's hand. A human reaction to the greeting of the hand maneuver added with the subject's name.. Human communication is so very difficult.
Hyaku's understanding of English was evolving, perhaps due to her listening to the lectures that were given. While focusing more on the conversation at hand, Hyaku concluded with, "I.. must see- school, orentear guy."

'Right!? Luck is on our side!' she replied.
'It'll be fun! The three of us can reach the top if we put our minds to it! Watch this!' Junie summoned her wand Berry Whip and began to recite a chant. From there, a cloud that appeared to be made of candyfloss formed in front of her. She leaped onto it and rose a metre into the air. 'All we need to do is make spells and transform! I heard you can do almost anything out here.'
She continued to gleefully float about, acting rather lax in contrast to her motivating words. Perhaps this was just her nature.
