We seem to have a good mix of everything here then, eh?
I used to be a paint and movie maker gal, but I moved on from that. For drawings, I went from using Paint, to Paint.NET to Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 and finally Paint Tool Sai. For animations, I started with Movie Maker, doing frame by frame in paint, then I began using Sony Vegas 10 Pro. I used Paint Tool Sai to draw frame by frame, but now I use Macromedia Flash 8 for animations and Sony Vegas 11 for editing and production. I attempted Adobe After Effects once but it just wasn't for me.
tldr; I use Paint Tool Sai to draw, and Flash 8 for animation and Sony Vegas 11 for production in general.

I use a mix of Corel Painter/Paint Tool Sai and Photoshop CS6. As far as animation goes, I'm slowly trying to teach myself Flash and a program called TvPaint (with the help of the Animator's Survival Kit, of course).

Ah, we have a teacher on our hands? Welcome! I really like Flash 8, I just wish it didn't have so many crash issues, though it may just be my version...
Ah, how good is Corel Painter, anyway? I've seen a little about it but not enough to have an opinion one way or another (most especially due to the fact I've never used it). I've never heard of TvPaint before!
Has anyone ever looked into Toon Boom? I thought about giving it a shot once...

I use Paint Tool SAI and Movie Studio HD, which is basically a watered down version of Sony Vegas. But it has everything that I need that was on Sony Vegas... minus the 3-D tracking. Sometimes I may throw in some Adobe Photoshop CS2 if I want to achieve something I can't in SAI. I tried using MS Paint when I first started, but I couldn't get used to it. I have a lot of respect for people who put up with Paint. If I was interested in pursuing animation as a career, I would probably invest some money in a better animating program, but I'm happy with what I have now.
For drawing in general, I still use Paint Tool SAI. I do a lot of traditional work too in tons of different mediums.

I really enjoyed it though, it's easy to use and doesn't give off a digital look as much. Here's whimsicott and Jellicent

I use MS Paint for lineart, and Photoshop cs4 for coloring (sometimes I do the whole thing in PS but it's rare) I use Easytoon 1.9.5 for animations. it's really helpful because it gives the same look as MS paint does, so it's easy to alternate between Paint and Easytoon. I put everything together in Windows movie maker, unfortunately. I really wish I had something better, because it makes my lip syncing and sound effects really suck :/

I use Sony Vegas Pro 12 Edit for editing(its a cheaper version of Pro that is exactly the same, there's some difference between them but I haven't found any features missing as of yet). I use Paint Tool SAI for all my art---I've tried a variety but I'm too dependent on this program >.> I spent quite a bit on my editing software, but I wish I could get After Effects. I love that program to pieces but can only use it at my highschool. I tried the trial of Flash---but got too confused and I don't want to spend a bunch of money again ^^;;

I saw Mike Inel using it to put his animation for April Fools together and it just did things that SV couldn't do at all. To my understanding it was only for post production but it looks like it can be used to put everything together too O.O
