Needless to say, Ooro's face was still in shock even after the adorned woman had graciously swung "Alroth's" (Was that even their name?) helmet back on. She had lifted her hand to her chin, and pushed upward as though to close her mouth; which had hung agape.
"...Well, uh, you're certainly not metal..." was all she could think to say. Her body stayed frozen for a few moments, before gradually seeming to lighten up. "Y-you're rather quite cute, actually!," she exclaimed, followed by a semi-forced laughter. While she definitely meant what she said, her mind still lingered on the fact that this was not the brutal tank of the group, but rather a tiny pixie, hiding about in a suit of armor...
How could anyone expect something like this...!? I... I think I could use a break already...
Ooro inhaled deeply, followed by an audible exhale, before shuffling her feet to the side, and then walking down the steps.
No one has really set me off to do anything yet, other than to clean those shoes... A sigh emitted from her. Surely, some are starting to get hungry? It'd be best to go hunting before it got too late, and I think I still have some leftover rations in a stash of mine somewhere. How long would that take to get though? An hour? Two? Perhaps it'd be better to just ask everyone up front if they needed something.
Her back which faced the group had swayed to face them. Her eyes scanned the recruits meticulously. She could see: Altheron, "Alroth", Enoch, Daryn, Galy, and a few new faces she hadn't seen yet. There was Enoch's opponent from before, a feral-looking woman with a... child? How strange... Elsewhere stood a lady with brightly-colored hair, and an archer? She put her palm to her forehead- there were a lot of recruits (even more inside the church), and she didn't necessarily want to wait till the last minute to retrieve whatever they wanted. That could take... a substantial amount of time. Not to mention, just to haul it all over could take several trips.
Maybe I could start with the essentials- what they need right away. Mainly food and water I'm assuming... though I'd have to ask if they have any canteens on them. Ooro had a few spares in one of her stashes, sure, but most likely not enough for every single person. If many did not carry one, it was possibility she needed extra time to create makeshifts. ...This was easily becoming a headache. She could only hope people were honest enough to state what they needed and when, so she could get to work right away. Though everyone at this point was sharing some kind of conversation, and she wasn't prepared for the dagger-shooting glares that might occur if one interrupted them.
I'll just... give it a shot. Her mouth opened widely, and she projected her voice, "If you're hungry, or need WATER, please hand over your canteens immediately! If you don't have one! I need to know!"

"Oh thank the Gods!"
Rylan ran over and took the bottle back and placed it in his pocket.
"Thank you so much for finding this! It must've fallen out while I was training. Although, seems odd that it did, since my bottles are always kept pretty secure....Nevertheless, thank you very much, er...I don't actually know who you are..? Are you another newcomer?"
Jeez, so many people are showing up now. We're in pretty good shape if you ask me...
Rylan looked to see if there were any others had shown up, as well, when he noticed Manasa.
She seems..interesting, to say the least. Is she some sort of...dancer..? Rather odd for a group of warriors, but I'm not one to judge.

Turning his face away from the weird-looking feather-lady, Altheron quickly brought his attention to Ooro. Food? It had never crossed his mind that he needed to eat soon. And what if Daryn needed something? He had to be there for her- wh- hey, where did she go? It didn't matter; She'd surely wait for him, he thought. Knowing this, he quickly got up, pushing the colorful lady aside as he left the church.
"Ooro!", he exclaimed. "I want to join you too!" Couldn't let Daryn go hungry.

"I'm not cute!" Alroth blared in the manliest voice 'he' could attain. Actually it just kind of sounded like a kid screaming. Somehow his demand for the return of 'his' helmet had been met, which the pixie did not know was done by Manasa. Actually, the neon-haired sprite had been too preoccupied with having lost the helmet to pay attention to its return. Her view to the outside world consisted of two angles - one from the helmet's visor, and one from a friendly firefly. These perspectives were linked by spells to the two mirrors within the bedroom.
As with most of the magic within the suit, the spells were handled by dormant enchantments, so apart from occasionally needing to be refreshed, the only active magic required to pilot the armor was the process of manipulating the tree branches to make it move. There were two ways to do this - the robust method of improvising movements like a marionette, and the focus-intensive process of the pixie binding the trees limbs in sync with her own movements. In casual situations like this one she relied on the first method, since it was less strenuous. In combat she used the second, as it allowed for more natural movements and much faster reflexes.
As for whether or not the pixie needed food supplies... well, she had plenty tucked away within her bedroom. The benefit to being so small was that minimal supplies for a larger being were actually more than enough for her, so even in this post-apocalypse she had more than enough to eat and drink. In fact, her supplies were in such surplus that it was often times difficult to eat all of the food before it spoiled. So 'Alroth' ignored the question and continued to pursue the previous topic. "You can't just call me cute!"

Manasa had garnered plenty of stares but not a single answer to her question. Her annoyance with the group was growing. She pat the tiny little elf that greeted her on the head and looked down at him with a a condescending gaze. Those pointy ear and big eyes reminded her of the little goblins that used to follow her, it was almost endearing.
Manasa began to saunter towards another member of the group to once again repeat her question, but not before being push aside by the eccentric and ever so odd pale man. The push was unexpected, people never push Manasa aside, so much so that she was caught off guard and fell to the ground.

Rylan was caught a bit off guard by Altheron's behavior. When he saw Manasa fall, he was caught quite off guard and walked over to help her.
"Are you okay? That was rather rude of him?"
Rylan held out a hand to help the lady up.

"Oh thank goodness he fell for that," He thought. The fact that the other guy trusts him despite stealing his stuff was pretty good. And if he wanted to steal it again, he knew what he was getting into. He almost ignored the weird priest man's question. Mustering up the most spineless voice possible, he stated his purpose.
"Uh.... I'm Osseus! I just got here a little bit ago!" He addressed, hoping his facade will work. He pulled out a snack he stole from rival bandits and munched away at it. It was a piece of lamb, salted and seasoned to perfection. After he bit down on his morsel, an elven voice rang through the church, willing to refill supplies.
He already had enough food and water to last him a while from all of the abandoned homes he raided, but more sounded great. Osseus pulled out a spare canteen in his bag and followed the voice, leading him to a ethereal elven creature. He handed over the canteen and hoped to dear god his hood covered his true species.
"Here you go, madam'," Osseus stated, politely handing over his spare canteen.

"You can't just call me cute!" While waiting for a reply from the crowd, Ooro's ear twitched as she heard a familiar voice. Her voice rung out, "But I believe you are, and I think that's a reason to do so," she chuckled slightly to herself. From the distance, she could spot a hooded figure approaching her. She raised an eyebrow, wondering why they felt the need to conceal their appearance. Regardless, it was in her best interest not to pry. "Here you go, madam'," Osseus stated, politely handing over his spare canteen. The figure handed over his canteen at her request, and she couldn't help but sigh in relief knowing that at least one person heard her call. "Thank you," her lips formed a smile at him, taking the container from his hands and strapping it to her belt. "I'll do my best to give it back as soon as possible!" Knowing this, he quickly got up, pushing the colorful lady aside as he left the church. "Ooro!", he exclaimed. "I want to join you too!" Ooro let out a gasp as she notice Altheron unknowingly push the woman aside, causing her to trip. While Rylan was courteous enough to offer her a hand, she couldn't help but look at the pale man with widened eyes as he didn't seem to notice what he had just did. "A-Altheron!" her voice wavered, "The woman- behind you...!" She shook her head, taking in a breath so she could speak clearly, "I think you should apologize..." her eyes showed obvious concern.

Altheron stopped dead in his tracks at Ooro's command. Her face looked so surprised. Following her gaze, he slowly turned around to see Rylan with the strange lady, lightly dusted with dirt from the loud thud sound she made after he bumped into her.
"O-oh..... That would be the right thing to do, would it not?" he mumbled, shuffling his foot a little as he bowed his head in what appeared to be shame. "I am.... sorry."
Upon saying that, Altheron quickly turned to face Ooro.
"Like that?" he whispered to her.

"Like that?" he whispered to her. Ooro shrugged, "Well, if it was genuine, then I believe it is acceptable... hopefully," her head hung low. Let's just pray it was genuine enough for the miss...
"Back to the original topic, I don't think you should," she shook her head, "This is my job... you probably need to stay here just in case. Not only that, but I move rather quickly, and this is not to be meant as an insult- but I am unsure if you could keep up." "Besides, it's not exactly the funnest experience for most; I'm kind of confused as to why you would want to in the first place, truthfully," her hand rested on her chin. I'm also a bit worried that he would wander on his own as well. I don't think I could face Kama if I lost a recruit...
"Anyways, do you have a canteen? I will refill it for you, if needed. If not, let me know," she nodded.

Celty stood back up and awkwardly tried to continue the conversation. "Ah, I suppose I should properly introduce myself, if we'll be fighting with each other. My name is Celty, I'm a shapeshifter. I'm sure someone will find a strategic use for me eventually." She lowered Oxy off her back slowly now that he seemed to be alright. "And this is my son, Oxy. I've been training him as best I can on my own, but his shapeshifting method is a bit off still."
Probably because he's a halfling, she thought sadly.
Oxy held up a palm and morphed it into a semi-paw. The shape didn't seem to be very consistent and the claws were all various lengths. "I'm a bear! Roar!" He gave a small swipe and giggled before morphing is back to normal.
"That's about has much as he can do on command," Celty laughed.

"I'm okay." Manasa said taking the priest's hand and standing back up. She took a moment then to adjust her jewelry and hair, making sure that she was looking her very best. "HE on the other hand... well I've a few other things to call him besides rude. It's unbecoming of a Vishkanyan to stoop to name calling." Her attention turned back to the snowy haired man when she heard him shuffle in her direction. What was this? An apology? If you're going to do it at lest put in some effort! She gave a sigh and rolled her eyes. With one hand on her hip, she waved away the man "Yes yes, very well."

She seems a bit.....pretentious...
"Sooo, are you here to join the Shadow Slayers as well?
He looked her up and down. Surely she didn't plan on fighting in that, did she? Although, looking at his own clothes, he wasn't one to judge, as cloth would do very little to defend against the claws of a Fearen or the blade of a theif.
"I'm Rylan of the Ash, by the way. Might I ask for your name?"

"Cantee- what is a cant...... but I really want to go! I must get food for Daryn!" "Food for Da-?" Ooro cut off mid-sentence, as though something clicked inside her brain. Ah, so that's it... She couldn't help but shoot him a crooked grin "So you like Daryn, huh?" she whispered, giggling slightly. Humans are just as honest as I remember.
She mulled over the possibility of his company once more in her head, but she still couldn't see him being able keep pace with her. "I want to help, but I really don't see how you can... keep up? I work very quickly, is what I'm saying. There's a viable chance I'd outrun you..." Ooro scratched at her ear, eyes glancing at her side as though still trying to come up with a compromise. Her ears perked up. "How about I catch the food, and when I get back, you can help me cook Daryn's portion?" her voice murmured under her breath. "That way, she'll know you thought about her," Ooro nodded. "Is that alright? As for the canteen- it's a container to hold water. I'm assuming you do not have one, so I will fetch a spare for you."
