Vera nodded her head in response to Freyja's shouts, a little tuckered out from the fight. Then again, she barely expended any mana: it was all physical. She jerked her head to face Rory, noticing the attitude still enduring. "Do you fly with your lodestone? You fly so well, I'm jealous!" she hummed and asked curiously, her voice still breathy from the impact. She waved at Freyja weakly with her wing and morphed the bladed mechanical arm back into a hand. How can she-!? She was much too chipper for someone who got her ass handed to her in battle. Someone like that would be either incredibly dangerous, or incredibly stupid. She breathed deeply before answering the question, remembering how annoying small talk was. "Yeah," Vera shrugged her shoulders, "It doesn't do much else outside of that, and I can't really fly very well without it. Comes with living in a cave all your life, I guess." Shit-! Her mind scrambled for a bit, trying to comprehend why she divulged so much information to Rory, especially with how little she'd known the harpy. Her troubles were visibly marked in her eyes as she struggled to maintain her trademark poker face, her features tempted to morph into ones reminiscent of embarrassment. "...never mind," She bluntly stated.

"Oh great," said Alanis "I have to fight more trash." A light breeze began to flutter toward Rey from her right. Rey pursed her lips at the sight of her new opponent, a bit perturbed that the rock she chucked didn't even hit her target, but not enough to question it. Her mana had been getting pretty low ever since she left the last town, draining at least half of it just to get to the castle. Maybe her lack of energy threw her aim off or something, but whatever. It wouldn't happen again. "Pbbft- yoo talkin' bout' trash now..... comin' in here, lookin like a damn piece-uh candy...... probably bitter as hell...." she mused, not all too impressed by the girl's words. She took a step back behind the wall she had summoned to her right and used her lodestone to move it in front of her. Then, after breaking it into pieces, she flung each and every stone at Alanis. Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurely one would hit her, right?

Murm watched the creature speak, nodding slightly as he took in the words. Uldrix rolled over seemingly speaking to himself. After a brief pause the man's demeanor transitioned ever so slightly, hovering between the gentle face he had put on and a more inquisitive face. "I see... I suppose you are correct that people can keep themselves separate from their natures, of course there would always come a time when those instinctual habits rise to the forefront." Taking in a deep breath Murm shrugged and turned his gaze to the sky. "There will surely always be times when one loses control, throws their body to instinct. Times when that is easier to do." Content, Sparrow lifted the two glass birds onto his shoulders and stood up. He looked out onto the mess of glass he had created and let out an audible sigh. Somebody could hurt them self on this, or an animal could accidentally try and eat one of the shard. That would be no good. Rather than do anything flashy, Sparrow simply form all the shards into a singular six foot tall cube, birds included. It was a bit awkward seeing a large cube in the middle of the field, but at least this way nobody would get hurt. With that Sparrow was done using his lodestone for the day, if he did so any further his light would grow dimmer. While his eyes still shimmered with light, his hair had seemed to grow a bit shorter due to all of the mana consumption, now reaching down to his shoulders. This was his only cue to how much mana he had used, as the Glimmer felt no pain. Sparrow looked around the field before his eyes locked onto Murm and Uldrix, two recruits he had yet to meet. Perhaps they had something he could help them with. The Glimmer journeyed over, unaware of their current conversation or of Uldrix's senses, and spoke; "Do you have anything that I can help you with?"

Illia saw the wind ball and put her plan on action. Illia jumped high in the air avoiding the wind ball the last moment. "Whew, that was close... if that specific wind ball had hit me, it would propably be able to damage me" she thought to herself as she was still on air. When Illia began to fall, she formed some sort of spiral with four of her legs infront of herself just like she did last time, only that that time, there was no electricity. She was falling with a great speed and she directed her attack to Monaiya. "Crap, Crap, Crap, CRAP, CRAP, CRAP!" Monaiya tries to make a wind shield to block the attack. "OHHH buddy, this is getting tough that nails!" Howover, she was feeling a little weak and then, she took the attack from Illia. "HHURRRPHHBURRSSS" Monaiya fell after got hurt. "Okay... I'll admit...I deserved that... I will not give up!" Monaiya tries to get up but it's not working. "I..must continue...the...training!! To prove those jerk-wads dating my parents wrong" Monaiya collasped to the ground. "Err... I messed up" Monaiya thought to herself. " Look on the bright side, Monaiya. At least those jerk-wads at home aren't seeing you like this." ((SOrry for the late reply. I was resting for a while and when I was ready to reply, there was some drama at home which killed my motivation for most things, including RPing. Luckily some are coming back so, yeah. Again, really sorry.)) Illia's strategy worked against her oponet. However she felt a little guilty after seeing Monaiya fall in the ground. She approached her " I apologise for the pain i caused you. If you are not feeling well, we better end this training session here and you could go and see a medic. I will inform Freyja. " Illia expanded her hand to help Monaiya to get up.

Taking in a deep breath Murm shrugged and turned his gaze to the sky. "There will surely always be times when one loses control, throws their body to instinct. Times when that is easier to do." "It is." Uldrix agreed, a bit sad once more. "But if that is truly how this world operates...perhaps nature itself needs to change." He stared upwards at the blank expanse of the sky, not a thing making a sound for him to see. It was relatively peaceful compared to the chaotic sounds taking place around them. He narrowed his eyes, making a promise to himself right then and there. "I'm going to change. I'm going to be what the rest of my people clearly cannot." He reached a taloned hand into the sky and clenched it shut. "I'm going to be merciful, and... kind. I will. You'll see." He glanced over at Murm. "If I can accomplish this, than there is no excuse for anyone else. I will show you that we can change." Sparrow looked around the field before his eyes locked onto Murm and Uldrix, two recruits he had yet to meet. Perhaps they had something he could help them with. The Glimmer journeyed over, unaware of their current conversation or of Uldrix's senses, and spoke; "Do you have anything that I can help you with?" His speech was cut short as words of pure white formed awkwardly in the air near Murm, with no vitals that Uldrix could see near them. He flipped back over onto his stomach and raised himself high on his hind legs, eyes wide as he surveyed the area with a shot of adrenaline pumping through his system. "Did you see that?" He whispered. "What was that?" His voice quivered a bit with fear. Had he been seeing things? He'd never seen a pure white hue before. He didn't even know it was possible. Surely he'd been mistaken. For what could speak but have no support system...?

His resolve striking the man, the fact that Uldrix could be so hopeful about this quest. About his wish to go against the need for violence entirely. Sparrow looked around the field before his eyes locked onto Murm and Uldrix, two recruits he had yet to meet. Perhaps they had something he could help them with. The Glimmer journeyed over, unaware of their current conversation or of Uldrix's senses, and spoke; "Do you have anything that I can help you with?" Murm watched straight-faced as Uldrix reacted to the new voice, obviously quite startled. "It is okay, there's no need be alarmed or get defensive." Keeping the quiet gentle tone in his voice as he addressed Uldrix he hoped to diffuse any sort of situation before it started. He turned his gaze to the small being that spoke to them, responding to his inquiry. "Well, I have nothing I currently need assistance with. It's quite nice of you to ask, though... Sparrow, was it? I attempted to take in everyone's name's however I could always be mistaken."

"You've come to the right place, boy!! This is the search party! The name's Freyja Hlin, and I'll be leading the expedition! I'm a bit busy at the moment, teaching this girl some humility, but I'll be with you in a few moments! This battle shouldn't take more than 5 minutes!" "Okay, I'll be waiting!" Actually happy someone noticed him, Louis started watching at all the strong people sparring each other. It was incredible. After a few moments, he sat down on the grass. I wish I could spar too, it would be nice.....Louis was focused on the fights going on around when Freyja called him. "WHAT?!", he said surprised, "Okay, I'm coming!" After saying those words, Louis started walking towards Freyja and others he didn't know yet.

"Although, you had a really nice advantage with how you were able to fly, I get a kinda.. blind spot right here," she gestured back behind her shoulder, where her flapping wings blocked her vision. Sighing, she watched the other fights finishing up, elemental attacks flying across the field, and the remnants of previous battles left behind. Sparrow just finished creating a large glass cube out of the shards that were apparently littering the field, and the harpy couldn't help but stare in awe. While she didn't have any kind of mana drain after the sparring match, the airborne part of their match wouldn't have been a problem if she could do... that. "I gotta learn how to do that stuff. My lodestone is mid-tier, but I don't know how to do anything with it outside of controlling my arms," she admitted, her voice holding a tinge of disappointment to it. "Then it won't matter if you're in the air next time we spar!" she grinned goofily, bouncing back quickly.

It appeared nearly everybody had finished, save Alanis and Rey. This was the perfect opportunity to introduce the kid to the rest of the search party. "Well, it's a pleasure to have you here..uh..Louis, right?" Their introduction was short, given she had been dealing with a certain bratty witch, and wasn't paying too close attention. "I'm Freyja! If you have any questions or concerns, come to me! And this here is Pumilus!" She motioned to the small, armored munchkin next to her. "Actually.. Pumilus, would you mind introducing Louis to the rest of the group? I need to watch the sparring matches." She turned back to Louis. "You'll have plenty of time to get to know everyone once the sparring is over and we head back to town." She grinned, then turned her attention over to Alanis and Rey once more, waiting to see how this battle resolved itself.

He took a few steps toward Louis and bowed. "I look forward to working with you. Follow me, I will introduce you to the witch." He said stiffly, beginning to make his way over to the girl who sat on her crystal block alone, knowing Louis would follow because of Freyja's orders. "Spica. We have a new recruit Freyja has asked me to introduce."

Taking a closer look at Pumilus Louis noticed that he didn't look so "human". Is he kind of a cyborg?..."Yeah...me too".. "O..Okay." As Pumilus started walking towards the girl sitting on a crystal block, Louis followed, staring at the block. Did that girl make this? Well, It looks like she has a mid-tier lodestone. Mine is just nothing compared to hers...

Spica groaned as not only was the walking tin can approaching her, he'd brought someone else with him too. Bye-bye, tranquility. She stood, crossed her arms and yelled, 'So who's this? A new friend of yours?' She eyed his sword and inhibitor. 'Is that all you've got?' The warning to not judge others' strengths had completely left her and here she was again spouting off.
'Well, no matter. I am Spica Tremille, the Witches' Society, most beloved and highly praised star pupil.' Her introduction was inflating by the second. She made sure to hide away her herbs and twirled her wand. 'And before you ask, I use not only one but two lodestones.'
Now to wait for the applause.

Illia's strategy worked against her oponet. However she felt a little guilty after seeing Monaiya fall in the ground. She approached her " I apologise for the pain i caused you. Monaiya notices that Illia's willing to help her up. She smiled "Hehe, no need to worry. This is a training session, what I need to do is learn how not to be an idiot." Monaiya grabbed Illias hand a got up a bit "Besides, I'm sure that I-" Just then, when Monaiya got up more, she felt a bit of her back. It was cracking a bit "Okay, yeah, maybe there are a few cracks in my back. But hey, no pain, no gain, right?"

A weight was lifted from from her back. " Well, I hope you learned something from this battle that helps you imroove your battle skills. Lets call it tie, shall we? After all you knocked me out once and i knocked you out once aswell." Illia said. She was trying to be polite, even though she felt like she won the battle. But she didnt want to create the image to Monaiya that she was a selfish robot. Saying that, Illia left Monaiya " Well, talk to you later~!" She said in a cheerfull tone. After dumping Monaiya, Illia moved were the teams leader was. " Excuse me, miss Freyja, I would like to inform you that me and Monaiya finished our sparring match."
