"Thankfully, we have strong warriors and magic users that can help teach us along the way. And of course, a bird to help you learn the flying stuff!" Her eyes were now focused on the dragon lady's wind lodestone, and she tapped her cheek thoughtfully with the crook of her wing. "I bet your wings could be strenghtened mechanically and powered by wind turbines. You'd only need to use your lodestone to get off the ground, and then the air passing across your body would naturally power the mechanics. Then you could use the lodestone for other things while flying..." Her voice trailed off a bit as she started mulling over possibilities in silence, her eyes bright as she stared unabashedly at Vera. It was almost like she could read her mind in that moment. The harpy dribbled on about robotics, Vera being surprisingly interested in the onslaught of words instead of her usual tactics of absentminded nodding and one word responses. Her eyes wandered to her hands, curling them up in fists. "Maybe if this girl can help, I could make use of these..." She thought. The thoughts swirled in her head, thinking of ways to utilize her arms and legs with the lodestone instead of expending it all just for flight. "That'd be nice," She verbalized, a clear aura of elation in her voice. She cracked a short smile before returning to her stony demeanor, a little sheepish at the display of emotion. "We could talk about this more when we reach an inn or something. I'd like to learn about that kind of thing," she replied, inspecting her wings.

Sparrow then observed Uldrix more closely. The Glimmer could pick up on his distress and naturally wanted to help in some shape or form. however, the cause of Uldrix's unease was unknown to him. "Are you hurt?" He inquired, take another shuffle forward to observe the avenaudi more closely. "Can I help?" Since Sparrow had moved again, Uldrix's screech was no longer accurate. He blindly reached forwards towards the sound of the shuffling feet, sliding a taloned foot across the floor to steady himself. His palm landed on top of the Glimmer's head. Uldrix flicked out his tongue, not realizing that what he was doing might be considered rude or strange. "You need to make noise or I cannot see you." He said, explaining in the simplest way possible.

Robin raised an eyebrow under their mask, a little perplexed by the statement. It sounds faulty to me. Yet, if the girl insisted, then perhaps there wasn't really anything wrong with it, or maybe she just didn't want Robin to fiddle with her weaponry. Oh well, nothing to dwell on.
With that, the girl dismissed them with the wave of her palm and a "have fun." It made them feel a slight sting of guilt, truthfully. "Uh, you can come with," they began, a little hesitant to do so, "I don't really care." As their back turned to the girl, their shoulders pulled together in a shrug as they silently resigned to the fact they hadn't known what to say. Robin hadn't planned on approaching either of the combatants just yet, being that Uldrix was preoccupied and the only thing they were somewhat competent in conversing about was music.
Even though they faced away, as though about to walk off- they plopped right back down onto the grassy plain, and cranked the knob of their old, dirty radio. The static stirred and crackled, making the lyrics of the song hard to decipher throughout all the fuzz. For a few moments, they stretched their arms before folding them behind their head and laying back. The sun had been setting now, and the sky was swirled with bright hues of orange and red as it mixed and whirled above. It was rather peaceful. Their eyelids narrowed at colors as their foot inched back and forth at the rhythm.
Moving their feet had been an easy enough task laying down, though they sighed underneath the mask as they did so. Robin held their chin rather high upon starting the match, yet now their head had dropped against the blades of grass as they laid.

"Ah...You don't hate me?"" she was genuinely taken aback by how they invited her along.Too forgiving for their own good...they need to watch their attitude in the future...I mean, what if I was actually looking to kill them...? "I'll come along, but if you want me to leave, I understand completely." She caught up with Robin and walked by their side for a bit, following them to see if there was anybody else to meet. After all, not talking to anybody her entire time there would not only be boring, it would be stupid. Developing no friendships with your party is going to end up making your time in the party feel worthless. She probably wouldn't want to be around people who just holed themselves up away from the rest of the people around them.

Rey pursed her lips at the sight of her new opponent, a bit perturbed that the rock she chucked didn't even hit her target, but not enough to question it. Her mana had been getting pretty low ever since she left the last town, draining at least half of it just to get to the castle. Maybe her lack of energy threw her aim off or something, but whatever. It wouldn't happen again. "Pbbft- yoo talkin' bout' trash now..... comin' in here, lookin like a damn piece-uh candy...... probably bitter as hell...." she mused, not all too impressed by the girl's words. She took a step back behind the wall she had summoned to her right and used her lodestone to move it in front of her. Then, after breaking it into pieces, she flung each and every stone at Alanis. Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurely one would hit her, right? Wrong. Alanis saw the attack coming, and began to react as usual with her slow reflexes, hopping for one side. As she was midair, the wind aimed toward Rey suddenly redirected back toward Alanis and another flash of crimson shoved the woman even further to that side, where she landed not-so-softly on the ground. Most of the rock fragments were left behind to Alanis' right side, and the few that soared wide enough to threaten her new position sailed harmlessly over her head while she laid on the ground from the harsh landing. "If you stain my clothes-!" she yelled again, banging her fist on the ground in frustration.

Undrix was simply doing this so he could tell where Sparrow was, so by letting him do so Sparrow would be doing good. Sparrow's shoulders eased and he looked back up at Uldrix as the recruit spoke once more, his words still puzzling. Udrix spoke of being able to see by making noise... this perplexed Sparrow. People heard noise, right? Though he might be mistaken. Sparrow considered the option that he might have mixed things up, and that people saw noise and heard visions. The gears in his head whizzed busily for an awkward amount of time before he spoke again, "I apologize, I will do my best to discover a way to make more sound."

Luckily Monaiya was ok and she couldnt see any serious external injuries. A weight was lifted from from her back. " Well, I hope you learned something from this battle that helps you imroove your battle skills. Lets call it tie, shall we? After all you knocked me out once and i knocked you out once aswell." Illia said. She was trying to be polite, even though she felt like she won the battle. But she didnt want to create the image to Monaiya that she was a selfish robot. Saying that, Illia left Monaiya " Well, talk to you later~!" She said in a cheerfull tone. After dumping Monaiya, Illia moved were the teams leader was. " Excuse me, miss Freyja, I would like to inform you that me and Monaiya finished our sparring match." This worked to Freyja's advantage, as the new girl had needed to get to know the team. "AH! Perfect! Here, this your new team mate, uh....I..don't know your name yet..." The new girl was yet to introduce herself, but that didn't stop the woman from trying to get them to know everyone else. "Monaiya! Come over here with Ilia and get to know your new teammate! I have to watch the battle between Rey and Alanis still!" She shouted. She then walked off to stand and watch the last sparring match of the day. "Could you two speed this up? I'm hungry, and it's getting late." She said, grumpily.

Uldrix answered, taloned hand still grasping the glimmer. It was then that a familiar static came to his attention. With no warning, and still holding Sparrow in his hand, Uldrix sped towards the sound of the static and stopped short, leaning above Robin and locating the device. He was about to get to work on fixing the annoying disruptions once again when he realized he had dragged Sparrow along with him. He gently set him down, embarrassed. "I...are you...alright?" He managed, a nervous hum in his voice. "I did not realize---I apologize."

As Robin's eyelids grew heavier, they were slowly beginning to drift off as though getting ready to sleep... when the shuffling of grass drew ever nearer to their location. The sudden noise alarmed them, causing their body to jolt forward as their eyes scanned the field- only to see Uldrix dashing across the way with a strange little companion at their side.
Did he come to listen? The corners of their lips tugged at a smile, rather pleased to see the Avenaudi eager to join in. "Hello Uldrix," they greeted him with a half-hearted wave, followed by a glance around them to peek at the small, glimmering fellow attached to his side. He appeared to be apologizing to the tiny one, "Who are you?" they tilted their head, curious of Uldrix's friend. They were sparkling, and their limbs had been adorned with crystalline formations that gleamed in the light. Robin had never encountered such a being in their life, much less heard anything about such a creature.

He pointed about three feet the wrong direction from where he had set Sparrow down. "This creature is Sparrow. I did not mean for him accompany me. I will put him back now." He moved towards where he had been pointing and reached out into the air, fully expecting Sparrow to be there. He fell forward onto stomach when his arms collided with empty space. "He has vanished." He stated, face muffled in the grass. "I have lost him."

Huh?Rey stamped her foot on the ground in frustration, the extra movement causing the remainder of the slab that once stood before her to fizzle into a pile of dirt. Why were none of her attacks hitting? Rey watched as Alanis was brought down by some sudden wind pushing her away from the rocks she shot and smirked a bit. Seeing the girl's whining as a challenge, she went into a full sprint toward her snooty opponent and, having focusing her mana into both feet, jumped up and slammed into the earth. This caused the ground between her and Alanis to shake, creating a rift underneath the brat about six feet deep. At that point, Rey's breathing was rushed, and she fell back to steady it, waiting to see just how Alanis would dodge this attack.

Being dragged by the Avenaudi took him off his feet, though he choose not to resist seeing as how Uldrix could not see him. Sparrow did not want to upset his new friend, even if being dragged led to getting his legs covered in dirt. Sparrow rose to his feet and dusted himself off. "I did not vanish, I was just low to the ground," the Glimmer said with a jingle of his pouch. A calm smile stretched across his face as he did so, the gems on it were so kind and friendly sounding. Could Uldrix and the others understand what stones were saying? Sparrow would have to remember to ask them later. He then blinked, remembering that the recruit that Uldrix dragged him towards had asked for his name. "I am Sparrow. Who are you? Your face does not open when you speak."

Alanis rolled to her right and began to stand up while Rey was running toward her, so by the time the small chasm opened up she was on her feet and able to once again dive to the side and once again land ungraciously in the grass where she was once again endangering the well-being of her lavish clothes. "Stop!" the woman complained at the dirty girl who kept attacking her. How could this be considered a fair fight when that wretched urchin was already messy and gutter-logged? "I can't believe I have to fight someone as disgusting as you!" Alanis whined, getting on her feet again as the breeze returned, taking a path between Alanis and Rey.

"The music calls to me too," a hushed chuckle emitted under the mask, though barely audible. Was it an attempt at a joke? The Avenaudi outstretched his arms, before falling flat on his stomach as he tumbled forward. Admittedly, it took Robin off-guard a bit as they reached forward slightly, "Oh, are you okay?" As they did such, the small sparkling figure emerged and dusted itself off, before cocking its head forward to meet their eyes.
They quirked a brow at the little fellow, still not recognizing his features to be of any race they've heard of before. Their "hair" was condensed of pure light, and strung around their neck were brightly colored stones on a thread. Uldrix's companion hadn't even realized they had worn a mask but rather saw it as their actual face. "This is just a cover," their fingers pulled at the bottom, tugging it slightly to show it could be moved, "I'm Robin. What are you?" Their head tilted, befuddled at what they were face-to-face with.

"Yes Ma'am. Have a nice time alone." At least, he wouldn't show disdain on his face. He then gave the slightest of bows.Louis had already started moving on when Pumilus was saying his goodbye. He walked a bit faster than usual on his short legs to catch up with him and started walking towards Uldrix, Sparrow, and Murm, three beings he knew names of and liked more than others.
"I will show you to these three. They are much kinder than Spica." "Hm?" Louis looked at the direction Pumilus was going, then noticed the people he was talking about. "If you say so." He started walking towards them with the small robot.
