Heaven's Spire

Rey chuckled at the girl's pleas between breaths. Even though yet another one of her attacks managed to barely touch the lady's garish garments, her complains grew louder and louder, which in turn made Rey's smile grow wider and wider. At this time, with her mana nearly drained and the sun nearly set, she realized that actually landing a hit on this girl was fucking near impossible. She obviously was cheating somehow. After all, she hadn't attacked her once, and she never seemed to even be aware of most of Rey's attempts at pinning her down into the dirt she hated ever so much. Now that she thought of it, it almost seemed that soiling her ugly clothes was way more important to her than actually winning the match, and if THAT was the case.....

Rey stood up as Alanis got up on her feet again. Just as she thought, the girl standing in front of her continued to do..... nothing. Not even her taunts stung, Rey giving a light shrug at the comments. "Wut's wit' chu and dirt, huh?" she questioned, a smug look forming on her face as she crossed her arms. "Dirt nevah hurt no' body, and who knows? Might actually make'ya pretty..... Yo' clothes are getting there, but it needs'a lil..... sumthin'-sumthin...." With that, Rey lifted both hands and started waving them up up and down, almost as if juggling air. As a result, clumps of dirt around Alanis began to randomly shoot up from the ground. Once they got high enough, they began to crumble, creating a shower of dirt just raining all over her opponent. This actual move didn't really take much out of her. In comparison to everything else she did, it was kind of a joke, but hey. That's basically what this sparring match was, so why the heck not? Might as well end it having fun. Rey's hands began to swish from side to side now, her movements taking on the resemblance of a composer. She began humming a short tune as the dirt continued to rain down on the both of them. It wouldn't matter if it didn't hit at this point. Now she was just playing.

At first Alanis was horrified at this ridiculous move, but ast it began the wind blowing past her diverted again and instead began to circle only Alanis, picking up speed slightly as it did so and subsequently protecting her or her outfit from being touched by any of the falling dust.

"Hah!" the noblewoman laughed at her opponent. "Keep playing in the dirt, you disgusting swine! You can't touch me!"

"ALANIS! THROW AN ATTACK NOW, OR I'M GONNA COME OVER THERE AND BEAT YOU DOWN MYSELF!!!"

'Yes, I suppose I am not the only new person. Who would you be?' Myrri asked, trying her best to appear interested.

"Only if yoo say it's cool." she said, stopping the motion entirely and burrowing her way into the ground. She was out of sight in an instant. A few seconds later, she burst through the ground like a weed right behind Alanis. She plopped a hand on Alanis' shoulder and shook it. It was only then that she noticed the gust of wind circling around them. "Huh." she said flatly, the gust whipping her already-messy hair around, ridding it of most of the dirt.

As soon as Rey put herself in the path of the wind stream an attack launched, following the gust's path around Alanis and toward Rey's left side. The blur of red soared at high speed, with an attack aimed for the girl's center of mass. If Rey went through with grabbing Alanis, there would be no way for her to avoid the attack. If the attack landed, it would hit like a hard shove with enough force behind it to knock her to the ground.

All of this seemed to happen before Alanis realized anything that was going on.

   Judging on Pumilus' reaction, it seemed he was acquainted with the one who stated himself as a "glimmer." Their demeanor diminished from earlier however, and they hung their head low as they whispered to themselves. It was a little sad to see them deflate so, and only added to the nervous atmosphere. "Sparrow, do you like music? I know Uldrix is rather fond of it," they slowly outstretched their arm, encouraging the little one to turn the dial as they did so. It wasn't like Robin to willingly hand over their possession, but the "glimmer", hadn't rubbed off as a mischievous fellow. "Maybe you can find a song you like. Just be careful with it," out of curiosity, Robin glanced back to Pumi, "You can too... if you want." However, it occurred to Robin that the munchkin would most likely turn down the offer, being that he was in the middle of a task.

   ...Still, they wanted to try.
