Shit.
The texture of the creature's fur made her idea all the more difficult, grimacing as it kept rubbing up against her leg as she attacked. Instead, she opted to claw her way through the monster with her bare talons, maybe at least providing a distraction to protect her teammates from the Mother's wrath.
The impending fire storm only made the half-baked strategy more diffult as Vera dove for cover underneath the crystalline structures on the beast, thinking it wouldn't aim for itself. She continued on, as well as final y gettinbf a decent resting point, considering her depleting mana sources.

Myrri nodded and said, ' I'll distract the Mother.' She broke off from the group and ran closer to the monster. She fired a shot, trying to divert its attention to her and away from her new friends. She ran back and forth, occasionally firing, waiting to see its reaction and, hopefully, it's doom.

Kyanalurin smirked triumphantly as she heard the distressed yells of the mother, but that expression was quicky changed as it began to charge at her. “ No No No No No No No!” she yelled as she ran farther back away from her enemy. She noticed the mother had taken her attention away from her and onto the crystal golem created by the small witch. She let out a sigh of relief, knowing that she would probably live at least a little longer. The mother’s pain gave her momentary satisfaction, until the rained from the sky as if ragnarok had come upon them. “Can’t catch a break, can we?” She rolled away from the fire as best as she could, after all, she didn’t feel like living with burn scars on top of everything else. She was hurt a let some of the fire hit her on accident, and took in her breath sharply, but luckily, it seemed to be a burn that would go away in a few days,or a week or so, and it was only on the arm and a bit on the leg. She was lucky she didn’t burn the entire right side of her body or something of that variety, unlike some others people Once she got to a spot where she could successfully attack, she shot three more electricity bolts towards the mother aiming for the exact same spot as before. If she could just take out the mother’s leg completely then it will be severely weakened—and hopefully not able to move.

'Fine, if that means you'll leave me alone.' Spica stepped closer to Sparrow before the Mother launched its attack. Responding quickly, Spica raised her wand skyhigh, creating a barrier to shield all three of them. 'Such a pain.' she muttered, going back to focus on the matter at hand. 'So I just need to patch it up, is that it?' She held her wand steady and from it a new crystal growth because to appear on Sparrow's arm, until the hole was no more. Sighing, she withdrew her wand. 'Make sure that doesn't happen again, got it?' she barked. 'Give your arm a go, it should be fine now.' She smirked. Uldrix approached Sparrow, nudging the newly healed glimmer with his beak carefully. "We must go--." His words were cut short by the fire that raining down from the sky, and he shrieked loudly as one of the fire balls fell just a little outside the barrier, the sound creating a blinding spark as it smashed to the floor. He could see them all whooshing through the air haphazardly, and he knew that leaving Spica's barrier at this point would be unwise. "Sparrow, you are unsafe here." He whimpered. "I cannot fight for you if you are not protected." (( titee))

He moved each of his digits with ease and then looked back up at the witch with a grateful smile. "You did good-" The glimmer was about to compliment the witch on her abilities, but was cut off by Uldrix nudging him. Sparrow turned to look down at him, but was interrupted by a blindingly bright fireball crashing into the earth. The glimmer let out a cry, retracting from the sight and covering his eyes in fear. When he parted his fingers so he could hear and see once more the glimmer caught the end of what Uldrix had told him. Sparrow responded by shaking his head and scanning the battlefield. "I want to do good and protect people." It was at this point he spotted one of his team members all on her own. Sparrow began running forward, though stopped after a few paces and turned back around to face Uldrix and Spica. "Come on, Uldrix! Let's go together!" The glimmer then addressed the witch. "Thank you for helping me, be safe." Sparrow constructed a cube just as he did during his spar with Pumilus. With the cube's height, he was able to cover much more ground than he could have running on his own two feet, getting to Alanis much quicker and staying safely out of range from the underling's attacks. Once close enough to the posh woman, Sparrow shattered the cube and ran up to her with a "I came to help!"

Spica's barrier wavered slightly as the fireballs made impact. It still held up strong however.
Spica nodded, 'Sure, sure go out there and do what's right and all that. The barrier won't cover you two anymore, so I hope you know what you're doing.' Once they parted, she could focus what was on hand. Her earlier titan had been obliterated by the mother, however she chalked it up to the fact she left it to its own devices. 'They're really a garbage heap when I'm not there to see it. ' She used the crystals she'd implanted into the ground to create another, this time rising a little higher than its predecessor. It let out a thunderous cry and allowed Spica to climb it.
'Firstly, we'll need a barrier, or that creature will blow you to smithereens.' Switching around her wand, she enacted a smaller barrier this time, only stretching out two metres from Spica's location. However this meant that the barrier itself would be tough enough to keep the both flame-free.
Taking step by step to the Mother, the titan's presence led the guide for the underground crystals, who were worming their way through the ground at the same pace. She could swear something was hanging off the Mother as she got close, but in the end thought it to be imagination. Who would conduct such an idea in the beginning. Some things were left not be done.
'Anyhow, this plan has been in the works long enough.' She noticed that her eye had shut again and muttered, 'The end game doesn't look pleasing to you once you find out they take more to kill then others. You wanted your bloodbath, however they didn't have one drop in them, so tough luck.'

"Hey mo--" She stopped herself in her tracks before she completed that sentence, almost casually referring to the lady in a much more maternal manner. Her face bright red, she gathered her thoughts and started that sentence over again. To Limarah's surprise, it almost seemed as if the lovely bird woman was referring to her as "mother." Again, this was a strange situation Limarah couldn't think of a proper reaction to. This thought was discarded, however, since pointing this out would probably make her new companion embarrassed, and this "battle" has had enough embarrassing moments for Limarah. It also seemed the woman was already embarrassed anyways. "Yes?" Limarah replied. h-how do you do that with your weapon? Like the bow and arrow? Do you just concentrate, or does it come naturally?"She morphed one of the shields back into her blade and took a deep breath, looking back towards the fray, slowing down her flow of questions. After the feathered friend asked her first question Limarah was about to answer, "I-" but her feathered fellow kept going. Limarah couldn't help but to give a small hint of a breathy laugh. She morphed one of the shields back into her blade and took a deep breath, looking back towards the fray, slowing down her flow of questions. "Could you teach me after the battle?" Limarah would have been happy to answer this question, but before she answered it she noticed some monsters shooting fire in their direction from below. "It would be nice to have some privacy, wouldn't it?" Limarah responded while her weapon's wing now became a wall to her umbrella that circled around the three of them. It looked as if the three were inside of a bell in the sky. "I'm sorry for the interruption. As for your question, I would be more than happy to teach you if that's what you want." The conversation could have ended there, and usually would have, but Limarah was far too invested in conversing. Her investment caused her to stop making attacks to the 'Mother' entirely. "From the look of your blade it seems you may have a similar ability. You must have a lodestone as well. If you wish to know more about it, you may want to consider all of its capabilities. For example: This weapon is powered with a rusty old lodestone of light, which still has many properties. Here, let me show you one of my favorite ones." After completing her explanation, a mix of varying colors were reflected from the light created by Limarah's weapon. It was as if Limarah was using her powers similar to a television screen. ((the picture provided is an assumption of the character's colors and reactions)) "Light doesn't only come in one color. It has enough colors to trick our minds into seeing images. Beautiful isn't it?" Limarah asked as she looked in her bird buddy's direction. A field with rain and a dark sky was projected by the light. "It's raining outside... Its nice that we're not caught in it, right? hahaha" she said as meteors continued to hit the roof of the umbrella. "Some prefer the rain, but I personally find it too cold and uncomfortable..." Limarah took a deep breath. "To help warm each other up, we need love" Limarah stated as she dragged her finger across the light in the shape of a heart. The same shape of the heart was projected through the light. A new image appeared which was the same field, only difference being the weather. This time it was a nice and sunny day out. At the same time, the meteors above them started to slow down. "See? The rain has stopped. You just have to give it some time, and it will be all better again." The umbrella then unraveled itself, revealing the lack of meteors above them. "Oh, I got so carried away that I must have forgot we were in a battlefield, haha. I'm so sorry for my rambling. Perhaps it would be good if we were to help the others in their fight now." Limarah concluded.

Freyja created a large rock dome around herself to protect against the bombardment of fireballs being thrown around the battlefield. This was getting ridiculous, and Freyja was getting sick of it. A hole formed beneath the woman as she traveled beneath the ground, noticing crystals snaking their way by as well. Likely, Spica's work, meaning that the little witch was trying to take the beast head on. "Idiot.." She muttered to herself. The bounty hunter moved through the ground, keeping the dirt and rock out of the way as she did, and reemerged behind the beast. She created several boulders from the excess dirt, lifted them over her head and began hurling them at The Mother.
The stones Freyja had thrown at the beast did nothing to it's crystalline defenses. It simply brushed this off as it tried to think of a way to deal with the more immediate issue at hand. The claws were a minor annoyance to the Mother, as were the shots being fired. The beast simply began rolling over onto it's back. The crystals retracted inside the beast, leaving it's skin open for a brief moment, but allowing it to hopefully crush whatever was on the beast's back. In this brief moment where it was armorless, however, it was pelted with fireballs, which had been redirected at it by Monaiya. The beast got back on it's feet, roaring once more as it's crystal armor erupted from it's body once more, surely skewering anything on it, should something have survived her thrashing around on the ground. The beast wasn't falling for the same trick twice, and roared a deafening roar that dissipated the electric waves as they neared it. The beast's eye had gone from blue to red, as it stared down Kyanalurin. The beast charged at her, full sprint, attempting to either squash or ram the girl in question. Once it was sure it passed over her, it turned around, focusing on something else entirely. The crystal golem that once threatened her territory was back, and this did not sit well with the Mother. It stamped its feet against the ground, growling at the golem in place. The Mother screamed unlike it had before, and four large lodestone growths erupted out of the ground and into the air. Once they were about 30 feet off the ground, they remained their, suspended. The crystals began glowing bright red, and began firing fireballs at every member of the guild, with no signs of stopping their onslaught. Without any more hesitation, the beast charged the golem, intending to ram it head first and shatter it.

Vera yelped as the monster rolled over, scrambling to avoid getting crushed by flying away from the chaos, attempting to land a deep cut in the process before taking off again. There didn't seem to be a specific weak spot, since it seemed to be all over the monster underneath the crystalline structures. Exploiting that wouldn't be of much use since it was such a wide area. But there was something else to exploit. Expending the last of her mana sources, she soared through the air, swerving around the mother and the lodestones themselves as she directed the homing attacks on them. granted, she sustained burns on her arms, blocking them from getting on her armor. Yet, it felt incredibly hot and loose, dragging her down as she attempted to expend more mana to amend the issue. Losing such a vital piece would spell disaster: therefore, she had to ignore it until the battle was over. At least after that, she could actually get something more suitable.

Shit. RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN THE HELL AWAY IM GONNA DIE SHITShe dashed away at top speed. There are two options in a situation like that--fight or flight. And she chose flight. She veered off to the right, causing te mother to miss it's attempted attack. "Oh my gods I may just live another day" she murmured. She noticed that the mother had then taken her attention off of her, and began to attack in another way. "Won't you just die already?! Now incredibly frustrated, Kyanalurin did her best to avoid the rapid attacks as the rained down above her. It seemed as if the monster had no intention of stopping, so she decided to use her best attack. Her reluctance was strong, as everytime she shot the plasma bolt from her gauntlet, the power was drawn from her own blood...and by the gods did it hurt every time she shot it. Well, this thing needed to be dead if she were to make it out alive. While avoiding attacks, she pressed a button on her gauntlet, and a recorded sounded out. "Preparing plasma bolt in one minute." Just hearing that voice filled her with dread. No going back now. While her attention was on her gauntlet, a fireball hit her shoulder, causing her to cry out in pain. "30 seconds" She ran to the spot she was going to shoot from, whilst doing her absolute best to avoid the fire from the sky. "20 seconds." A dull pain already began to crawl up her arm. She could feel the blood drain from her arm. "10 seconds." Her arm filled up once again, but was missing most of it's liquid. The plasma was gone from it. No point in going back now. "5" She aimed her gauntlet at the mother's gem. "4" Her breath became shallow. If she missed this, she would be angry with herself for a long time. "3" Sweat dripped down her forehead, and a look of pure fear crossed her face. She didn't want it to hurt again. "2" No...please....I made a mistake..."1" Kyanalurin fired, a gigantic bolt of heated plasma rushing through the air towards her enemy. This would have been a moment of victory, if unspeakable pain weren't being shot up her arm. She let out a loud cry, and tears formed in her eyes. "it...hurts....it hurts...."She fell to her knees, clutching her arm, her nails digging so far into her skin that blood dripped from it. The blood was discolored, and extremely hot to the touch. This was hell, this is what hell must be like. "No...no I....I made a mistake...." Her voiced wavered as she whispered to herself. She was on her knees, shaking, and begging to no one in particular to save her from pain she inflicted upon herself "why...why did I accept the attack function....? This...this will just accelerate my death..."She almost crashed face first into the ground. But she stood up. Her body was shaking intensely, and she could barely hold herself up. But she was doing it. The pain drifted slowly out of her arm, still leaving her with a warm feeling on the inside of it--an unpleasant one at that. "Die, or I swear to the gods I will give you a fate worse than death...." She muttered. (( MonkeyandMooseInc ))

Sparrow constructed a cube just as he did during his spar with Pumilus. With the cube's height, he was able to cover much more ground than he could have running on his own two feet, getting to Alanis much quicker and staying safely out of range from the underling's attacks. Once close enough to the posh woman, Sparrow shattered the cube and ran up to her with a "I came to help!" Uldrix followed the glimmer without question until they approached the vitals of the bratty human known as Alanis. He hadn't liked what he had seen of her so far in terms of interactions with other teammates, and it set him on edge that Sparrow wanted to help her. "I will not protect this one." He scowled, speaking to the glimmer. "She is weak and will die." He was unable to give his new master more advice before the Mother started another attack. He began firing off sound blasts, but after a few dozen of these attacks was feeling incredibly worn out from his use of the lodestone. He'd had years to practice with it and use it to the best of its abilities, but it was still a mid tier lodestone and its effects were draining on his body. In a different sort of fight, he'd just have used his speed and strength, but he was unable to do that when the attacks weren't something he could face head on. They had to be either redirected or destroyed. Breathing heavily, he stood shakily in front of Sparrow, narrowly dodging a fireball by ducking out of its way. The flames licked at the back of suit and he hissed as a few sparks shot out of it. "72%." That much damage from one hit? He'd still been in the 90% for a good portion of the fight. If one hit could do that much to him and his suit, it was best to avoid another fire attack at all costs. He looked at Sparrow with pleading eyes, forcing his words out despite how sporadic his breathing had become. "We need a barrier. I cannot stop these attacks forever."

"Keep up that wind work!" Robin hollered, frantically charging their weapons in their holsters, preparing to fire at the nearby enemies when a horrified shriek echoed throughout the battlefield. The voice was familiar, sounding like a certain girl they encountered a few times already...
As their head jolted in its direction, they could spot Kyana who had just fired a rather powerful blast from her gauntlet. They recalled just how the piece of machinery reacted before to her usage, how she lost her cool in the heat of the moment because of the pain it caused her. Why did she persist on keeping that thing on? Uldrix stated earlier that she was under a facade, and while helping her after hearing such a statement was questionable- she had just fired a shot to the best of her ability by the looks of it. Supposedly, she was helping them for the time being, surely? Even if, there was still a question on whether or not Uldrix could be trusted completely, even though they had taken a liking to him over the rest admittedly.
They could see the hot tears rolled down her face as she recoiled with pain; she appeared genuine in the moment. With that, Robin faced The Mother's direction, charging their weapons fully before simultaneously pulling the triggers with all their might- releasing a chain of electricity coursing to the beast. It was a bit of a drain on their mana, but perhaps it could do hinder The Mother while her sights were focused elsewhere.

Sparrow spun around, pulling up a large glass barrier in front of the trio. The glimmer than looked up at the lodestones in the air with a grimace. They weren't good crystals, they made mean and hurtful noises. Sparrow formed a platform under his feet, and then another raised in front of him. The glimmer stepped forward onto the raised platform, shifting his weight from one to another. As he did so, the previous one changed position, becoming the next higher step. The glimmer continued this until he had made it 20 feet into the air and in range of one of the crystals. Drawing the shards from the shattered cube below him the glimmer formed three large spears which he then directed at the one of the lodestones as quickly and powerfully as he could, a small shield drawn in anticipation of what might happen next.

Spica had to act quickly. In an instant, her titan curled up tightly, protecting Spica under its mass. The contact was enough to shatter the barrier, however the titan used this short timeframe to duck away, tumbling to the left and escaping with several cracks. Releasing the small witch, the titan then looked down at her.
'This is really a pain.' Spica muttered, clutching her head. The fall had spurned a nasty headache, but no injuries. She put up the small barrier fand created some distance between her and the mother. She didn't want to get butted for a second time.
'I'll just have to try now.' Spica waved her wand and alike the fight with Alanis, spears began shooting around the Mother, temporarily encasing it in a circular pen. Followed by that, two larger crystals rose from the ground, dangled just above the Mother. She wouldn't let them go yet; assuming the creature would attempt an escape, she'd be ready.

"Oh, I got so carried away that I must have forgot we were in a battlefield, haha. I'm so sorry for my rambling. Perhaps it would be good if we were to help the others in their fight now." Limarah concluded. Rory listened intently and watched in fascination as the light mage began to speak to her. "All of it's capabilities?" she asked, tilting her head and beginning to watch the small display, almost entirely forgetting the hellfire raining down outside Limarah's protective shell. The woman seemed so... familiar with her lodestone. And while she too, was incredibly accustomed to working with her own as an extension of her body, she never had really considered using it for other purposes than its intended one. It had always just been her limbs; nothing more nothing less. Even Ita and Siba were very new additions when some newer... circumstances came to light. She smiled warmly at the kind, powerful woman, nodding a little bit. All of its capabilities... huh?
"Thank you Limarah. I'll.. figure this out." she chirped as the shield fell. She found herself idolizing this woman. Strong, kind, wise, it was all she wanted to be. Sighing, she turned her head, looking across the battlefield once more. Once again it was time to dodge, the harpy zipping through the air across the battlefield. A few of the fireballs grazed her feet as she flew, burning her lower feathers and feet and causing her to lose her balance momentarily from the sharp sudden pain. She swerved towards the source of the fireballs, widening her eyes as she noticed them clear as day, just within her reach. Four lodestone growths now floated almost eye level with the bird, and it was from them that this new barrage of fireballs originated. Dodging another fireball, Rory soared up in the air, gaining altitude before looking down at her sword and brand new shield, focusing her mana and morphing the two arms into a single giant spear. She divebombed the first lodestone growth at top speed, hoping to crack or shatter it to at least slow the frequency of the fireballs. After attempting this on two of the others, whether this method worked or not, she noticed a familiar teammate struggling.
Yet, it felt incredibly hot and loose, dragging her down as she attempted to expend more mana to amend the issue. Losing such a vital piece would spell disaster: therefore, she had to ignore it until the battle was over. At least after that, she could actually get something more suitable. "Vera!" she shouted and separated the two arms once more, swooping down towards her. As she neared the draconid, she quickly flapped her wings to slow her descent. "Are you okay!?" Her scaly buddy seemed to be struggling, weighed down by the armor that had reached an almost molten state from a fireball impact. The harpy bit her lip and focused her mana onto the metal of the armor, tightening up the chestplate once again and molding into what she hoped was close to its original shape. But appearance aside, it would fit the woman in a much more aerodynamically than in its current loose state. "Better?
