"I'm glad you all made it here okay." Anden said in a somewhat distant way. The ground trembled slightly underneath them - a now common occurance due to the massive root systems growing so rapidly. "I was afraid no one would show up." Anden continued unconcerned. "I don't suppose you've all heard the story about this place?" "Then it must be your lucky day because somebody else just arrived." Panna passed through the ancient castle's front gate, his hand tightly gripping one of the leather straps of his over sized rucksack. When the wanderer made it to the small gathering of people he dropped the bag to the ground and looked towards the sky, squinting at the shimmering light of the castle's newly lit beacon. Granite Castle was near forgotten, at least by him. When Panna first saw the beacon he hadn't even connected it with the castle, it was only when he ventured closer and saw the old, crumbling structure in the distance did the tales begin to circulate through his head once more. Panna turned away from the shimmering light and looked each person in the courtyard up and down, taking in their features before then addressing the crowd. "The name's Panna, I'm just wandering through. I take it one you kids gathered us all here to do something about those thorns, yeah?"

"How Can I Be This Clumsy, Stupid Rock! Wait A Minute...... Who Are You? Are You The One Who Turned That Light On?" "And you must also be very brave. Was this your idea?" "The name's Panna, I'm just wandering through. I take it one you kids gathered us all here to do something about those thorns, yeah?" "I did light the beacon." Anden replied, looking between the three people speaking. "And you would be correct" he turned to Panna. "...mostly." And slouched a bit. "I don't have some great plan to get us out of this... yet." he admitted. "I just hoped that if I could reach this place, maybe that old story could be just the thing I needed. I thought that maybe if it did bring together a group of fighters - or even any group at all - we'd have a better chance together." Anden gestured along with his speech, but realized afterward that he had instinctively put his hand around his sword hilt at some point. It might have seemed rude or threatening to do in conversation ordinarily, but being so on edge lately made it an unconscious action. The fighter gave a slight smile and slouched back into a more casual position. "So what brings all of you here? You wouldn't happen to be legendary warriors, would you?" he joked. (( Looks good Virus, but would you be okay with reducing the knight's size by... maybe about 5 or 10 meters? 21 meters is MUCH bigger than almost anything we'll ever be fighting. lol )) (( Also, I don't know how many more people to expect to join this ole' thread, but I'm thinking we'll wait a few days for more bios and to finish introductions. It will probably only be a matter of minutes or a few hours in-game time, and then I'll kick things off. I'm thinking sometime over the weekend that'll happen. Just to keep everyone posted. ))

Poppy finished serenading herself with her Emotion Hymn and greeted Alden's question with a smile wider than ever. "Nope! Well, not YET! But hey, if we CAN do something about these thorns, I bet they'll sing the songs of our journey! In faaaact.." Poppy plopped to the ground, her lute in her lap. She began strumming her instrument with a new tune, looking to each member of this little party and attempting to draw inspiration from each of them.
"Our heroes arrive at their fated destination, destined to save us withooooout hesitation~! Anden, their leader, a warrior of power! Lighting the beacon near our final hour~! A giant the size of a tower named Leander~! Let us all pray that he doesn't....meander~?" Poppy giggled slightly as she continued trying to come up with lyrics on the spot. "And ol' one armed Panna, ready for a fight! He tore through those Thorns with all of his might~! And then there were the other two whose names I don't know.... but that doesn't mean they won't put on a show~!! And lets not forget Poppy, the bard of legend~!...... Iiiiiiiii don't know what rhyyyymes with legend!!"
She began whistling to herself as she continued to strum her lute, filling the air with cheerful music and hopefully lifting the tension anybody might be feeling.

(Sorry About The Hight I've Had Fix It Now XD)
" Legendary Warrior?" Storm Fly Asked As She Picked Herself Up Off The Floor And Started Brushing Of The Dirt On Her Dress. "Wait You Mean Me? Oh Golly Gosh No I Am No Warrior Let Alone A Legendary One. The Reason I Came Here Was Because I Saw A Bright Light From Home And I Thought It Might Be A Sign From My Mother Or Father But I Guess Not Since Your Here." Storm Fly Said As She Smiled And Started To Hum. "Oh Knight What Are We Going To Do? We Came This Far To Find Mother And Father To No Such Luck." Storm Fly Placed Herself Down On A Rock Nearby "I Think It Might Be The Best Choice For Us If We Stay With This Group Of People.... If You Don't Mind Mister." Storm Fly Hugged The Doll She Has Been Carrying For All This Time And Look To The Floor.
After A Few Seconds She Jumped Up And Shouted "Oh Gosh We Haven't Introduced Are selves Have We Knight, If These People Should Trust Us They First Must Know Are Name" Storm Fly Consulted Her Doll And Then Shouted "Good Evening Everyone My Name Is Storm Fly And This Is My Good Friend Knight!" She Lifted The Doll Infront Of Her Face That Had A Large Grin On It "We Come From The Harsh Lanes Of Sana Where It Was Just My Family That Lived There." She Quickly Bow And Then (Still Shouting But Even Louder) "Please Look After Me Till I Find My Family!"

"Sure!" Anden smiled, looking down at the girl. "It's nice to meet you, Storm Fly... and you too, Knight!" he gave a tiny wave to the little doll. In his mind however, he wondered how in the world such a frail and naive child could have made it this far by herself. The fate of her parents notwithstanding...
"Hey, that's a good song." Anden laughed "Especially that last line! They'll sing that for generations." It felt good to be back in the company of other people. Almost to the point where he forgot about the grim situation that had brought them here.

Poppy plopped to the ground, her lute in her lap. She began strumming her instrument with a new tune, looking to each member of this little party and attempting to draw inspiration from each of them. "Wow!" Nursery Rhyme exclaimed, applauding Poppy's performance. "What a nice song. You are very talented, yes!" "So what brings all of you here? You wouldn't happen to be legendary warriors, would you?" he joked. "Not a legendary warrior, no! But... I guess I am considered a legend?" He pondered this for a bit, crossing his legs midair and rubbing a hand on his chin. "A legend, yes! My name is Nursery Rhyme. I am a Fable from Storybrooke. I am unable to return home because of the thorns. And... the very existence of my people is being threatened. That is why I'm here!"

"Dear Gods, he's enormous! He must have a huuuuuuge- OH YEAH, I was introducing myself!" Although the conversation had moved along, Leander still thought about this line Poppy had said, smiling stupidly to himself at the word 'enormous'. Only her song had him returning to the present, and it too filled him with a sense of joy. He tugged a large section of the ivy off of the wall. "I like the part about me..." He whispered, not seeming to notice that once again the conversation had changed course.

An enormous smile spread across Poppy's face as it seemed the people around her were enjoying her music, whether their words were genuine or they were just trying to be nice. "Aaaaaaaaaaw thanks!!! I'm glad you like my tunes! There's more where that came from!" She giggled. "Its a real pleasure to meet you all!"

" Ahh What A Nice Bunch Of People." Storm Fly Sighed "Also I Must Say Poppy You Are A Very Talented Musician, You Are Very Good At Carrying A Tune." She Smiled To Herself And Look Down At Her Doll And Started To Bob Her Head To The Tune Poppy Was Playing.

"I agree." said Anden, though shifting slightly in demeanor. "And I hate to change the mood, but I do need to know..." Once more his eyes swept across the group, scanning them quickly one by one. The survivor's hand hell to his sword hilt once more, and with an upside-down grip on the handle he lifted the blade partway from its sheath at his left hip.
"Can all of you fight?" he asked, with a much harder and more serious gaze than his pleasant one before.

Panna eyed Anden suspiciously, hand sliding into the pouch on his belt buckle. He gripped onto a loose coin, ready to fire it if need be. "Yes, why?" Panna then cleared his throat, speaking an octave louder. "And I hate to be the suspicious type, but I don't know if I like the way you're holdin that there sword."
Panna looked to the other arrivals, trying to pick up their own reactions to gauge weather or not his was out of place. He didn't want to outcast himself immediately. The man eased his posture, though left his hand still inside his pouch. and then spoke once more, this time to the entire crowd. "One can never be too careful in times like these."

O-oh...
Poppy's shifted uncomfortably on the ground as the mood of the meet-up was quickly turned down a much intenser path. She looked towards Panna who'd already seemed ready to exchange blows with Anden, Poppy swallowing hard as she stood up and took a couple steps back. She held her lute close to her chest, a nervous smile plastered on her face.
"Uuuhh.. heh.. I'm just a bard, I don't really, uh.... have any offensive spells. I could probably learn, though." She stuttered. "I mean, my songs are mainly to help other people in battle.. heh.. Y'know, like, healing and what not." She grinned at Anden, hoping this answer would suffice.

"Yes, I can." He answered simply, crossing his arms with a raised eyebrow. He noted Poppy saying she didn't have any offensive abilities and leaned down next to her, a gentle smile on his lips as he ruffled the top of her head as though she were a small child. "I can protect Poppy, she has very nice songs." He said. In one fluid motion, he scooped her up and placed her on his shoulders. "There. You can play good songs from here." He bounced lightly on his feet, humming one of the tunes she'd sang earlier with his eyes closed, looking at peace with the world. He stopped his humming only for a moment to glance up at her. "And now you sing, Miss."

Nursery Rhyme looked between the man named Panna and Anden from his vantage point in the air. He could detect suspicion and wariness tinging the air between them. Nothing serious, but Nursery Rhyme was sure that if Anden made one wrong move, Panna wouldn't hesitate to defend himself even against their leader. Nursery Rhyme released his flight spell and landed gently on his feet in-between the two men, spinning around to look up towards Anden. Nursery Rhyme couldn't sense any malevolence from the man, which was good. It seemed that it was just a question of skill, to see who would or would not be a... liability. "I can also fight, yes." He replied.

"Good." Anden replied to all of them, letting his sword fall the few inches back in place "Cause you're going to have to." he explained.
A moment later his face returned to a smile and with a half laugh he added "-not that you didn't already know that! I think we should all know what we're made of, though. Once again, I'm Anden. I fight with this here sword and... Well, that's all."
"Now what about the rest of you?" he extended an open hand gesture, inviting their responses. "You all look..." he paused to consider a word. "...special." Anden concluded. "So what makes all of you special?" the man laughed.
