The group moved out of the way of the Beastly Captain's attack and the enormous beast was sent flying into the wall, causing the entire manor room to shake. The loud clanks of crystalline fixtures knocking together could be heard as the chandelier swayed to and fro from the impact. The beast stumbled backwards, the impact causing it to wince in pain at the sheer force. It shook its head like a wild dog as it tried to regain composure. Florence was taken off guard by the girl's sudden act of valor as Jintama knocked her out of the way of any oncoming boulders. She hadn't been the nicest back at the meadow, but perhaps Florence was right about her and maybe everyone here. So far, the more difficult individuals were proving to be rather helpful in the group's time of need. With that in mind, the gunslinger glanced around the area in search of a certain violinist when Jintama called out to her again. Florence stood up from the ground and peered over to the girl who was now charging the electricity in her sword. She contemplated a way to keep the beast at bay when it seemed as though the group was already on top of it. Pippin seemed to have climbed onto the chandelier with some sort of plan in mind while Vervain seemed to have the full intent of assisting the goblin in whatever that plan was. "JUST KEEP HIM IN PLACE!!!" She shouted out as she aimed her gun and fired off a larger round at the beast. It landed straight in the side of the captain's head, the beast howling in pain as it burst around him. It struggled to find the perpetrator, the beast wailing and growling haphazardly, giving out confusing directions to the beasts around it. As the tiny goblin sawed away at the cable connecting the chandelier to the ceiling, the cable snapped just beneath Pippin, sending the chandelier plummeting towards the marble floor and directly on top of the Beastly Captain himself. The creature peered up an instant before the crystalline fixture landed on top of it, the beast's body going limp beneath the structured weight. {Spoiler - Click to View}This limpness was short lived, however, as the chandelier began to shutter and shake, the beast's body undulating and contorting in strange, inhuman manors. The chandelier began raising beneath the beast before sliding off and shattering what was left of it on the floor below. The clothing that once covered the captain tore away as the body began expanding into a more and more grotesque beast. The transformation was violent, the beast wailing and screaming in pain as it lost all traces of humanity left within it. The beast opened several new eyes as it fixated them on the group. All beasts in the area fled upon seeing this horrifying beast before them, the creature letting out a horrendous screech as it prepared to destroy this band of warriors once and for all. It looked towards the direction of Vervain, marking him as the one who had snapped the chandelier cord and used one of its newly formed mouths to completely chomp through the base of the beanstalk he had formed while using his other arm to fire an enormous sweeping laser across the room and anyone in sight. Current Objective Kill the Transformed Captain
All previous hints of humanity have been lost on the captain. He has transformed into something far more than human and perhaps far more than beast. Death is the only way to end his rampage. Attacks:- Has enough strength to tear the pillars out from the ground around them - Can fire enormous lasers from the mouths of its arms. - A biting force strong enough to rip through metal - Much slower than before - Now 25 feet tall - Can command beasts, should it choose - Can form 'Sludge Beasts' from the mouths on its arms

But I couldn't really do it with the amount of energy right now! Jintama struggled to get her electric energy as fast as she could. She knows her own life might be on the line by just standing a charging.
Oh....
This is fine.....
NOT.....
At the moment, Jintama became fully charged with her sword. She turned to face the beast that was casuing havic.
"So, you decide to cause even more shit?" Jintama spat coldly "That's fine. Gives me a reason to do this!"
Multiple electric swords surround her. She jumped out of the away from the lasers that was being thrown at her.
"LET'S SEE YOU DODGE THIS, MOTHER-FUCKER!!!!"
Ten of those sword shoot through to aim at the furious beast. At that moment, Jintama's energy slowly began to grow a little weaker. Fuck......

Quincy swayed slightly on her feet, the entrails of her enemy thrown around her haphazardly. Another basilisk slithered towards her, aiming to take her out while she appeared to be dazed. When its tongue shot towards her, however, she grabbed the flesh with her claws, pulling it so sharply that is snapped right out of the creature's mouth. The snake-like beast hissed in pain as blood flooded out of its open jaw and pooled onto the floor. Quincy stared at it, her eyes still wide and wild from her previous kill, but some of that fear was starting to sneak back to her. She dropped the tongue to the floor and dropped to one knee, placing her hands down despite the carnage beneath them. Another beast made it's way towards her, and she growled loudly and deeply. When it kept moving towards her, she started screaming at it. "STAY BACK! STAY! BACK!!" It ran away quickly after, but it wasn't her voice that caused it to flee. The transformation of the beast snapped Quincy back to a semi-state of reality, the sound of pain it admitted as it changed causing her to shiver. That sound resonated with her currently more than she'd allow herself to admit. But this creature was a threat. It would kill her, it would kill them all. She didn't want to die, she didn't want anyone to die!!
When she saw the beast's eyes lock on Vervain, she let out a feral scream before running into the fray, her hands outstretched as she aimed to grab onto one of the beasts arms in hopes of separating it from the creature's shoulders. Rip in two! Rip in two!! The thought was the only thing she could make herself focus on through the pain.

With the agility of something much smaller and furrier than he, Pippin scampered up the Chandelier, pulling his dagger out as he did so and then aiming it at the thinnest part of the cable. Taking one last glance to make sure the beast was under him, the goblin began to saw and hack at the cable, it slowly starting to give. "Come on..." As the tiny goblin sawed away at the cable connecting the chandelier to the ceiling, the cable snapped just beneath Pippin, sending the chandelier plummeting towards the marble floor and directly on top of the Beastly Captain himself. The creature peered up an instant before the crystalline fixture landed on top of it, the beast's body going limp beneath the structured weight. "Well done, Pippin!" Vervain said, quickly commanding the growth of the beanstalk to catch Pippin before he plummeted to the floor below. "From this height, that creature was surely defeated." Vervain's relief was short-lived, however. He suddenly felt a tingling in his spine. Something was off. Vervain could now sense a stronger life force in the area, although much more vehement than what he was able to detect before entering the manor. He peered over the leaf, watching the spot where Captain was crushed beneath the magnificent light fixture. Sure enough, there was no movement below from the beast. The transformation was so abrupt, it caught Vervain off guard. It should have been defeated, but being hit by falling debris clearly only made it angrier. Impressive. Vervain found it interesting that no matter how far gone the beasts may be, their human emotions are still intact. Ah, I see. They are never truly gone.In a split second, the beast had chomped clean through the lower half of the beanstalk Vervain had summoned. The result was immediate. The plant topple like a domino, and from this height, they would surely suffer grave injuries upon impact. Vervain used his cane to grab on to Pippin, ensuring that they don't get separated while in free-fall. Without any connection to the earth below, Vervain would be unable to call for assistance from any flora. I can't use that power. Not yet...As Vervain nosedived down to the marble flooring, he decided to rely on any of his teammates that were able to reach high altitudes. Based on what he saw, Lan'ra and Eliza were his best bets. But Lan'ra was currently... It would have to be Eliza if they wanted to be saved without harm. If they weren't obviated before they got too close to the ground, he could always just concede and use that.

"Hmmmmmm?" Lan'Ra hummed as she saw the flying blurs coming seemingly from nowhere hurtling towards her. She ducked out of the way to the best of her ability, but a bit of acid hit her shoulder, the color on her cheeks darkening. She let out a pleasent sigh at the contact, as the fluid burned through her skin. "This mansion is soooo odd!!!" she chimed, lifting up what she thought was another table. She hurled the object blindly in the general direction of what we're in the eyes of the others, the basilisks. She placed her hand on her shoulder and huffed. "I don't wanna heal this...." she grumbled. She let the pleasant Magic soar through her before she perked up again, still smiling. She rubbed her eyes and sighed. "I just gotta get my eyes checked!!!" She picked up an actual table, and hurled it at the beastly captain with a light laugh. "WE SHOULD DO THIS MORE OFTEN~!"

The sudden transformation was jarring, causing Florence to shake in her boots at the sight of the massive creature. Was this really what the plague was capable of? What if there were more of these types of beasts out there? Florence had little time to contemplate this as she had to act quickly. She barely managed to roll out of the way of the oncoming laser that The Beastly Captain fired and looked down at her gun. There was no way any regular shots were going to work on that thing now. If she used each remaining energy tank to fire off one shot at a time, she might be able to do some damage.
But that'd only leave her with four shots...
She couldn't afford to waste these precious bullets. Florence grew deathly serious as she took aim and fired an entire tank's worth of energy at the Captain. This bullet exploded on the side of the captain's head, the beast squealing in pain. This moment of agony opened the Beastly Captain up to a barrage of attacks. Jintama's several of Jintama's electric blades hit skin, having little effect on the beast, but two of her electric blades pierced directly into the Captain's hand-eye. The creature that made up the monster's arm wailed in agony as it fired off a laser haphazardly.
Quincy managed to grip onto the beast's arm, the girl climbing fast with the intent to tear the creature's arm from its socket. The Captain's arm noticed the girl trying to climb up the limb and sank its teeth right above where the girl was latching onto. The arm tore the other limb clean off the Captain's body, sending it hurdling in a random direction. The Beastly Captain screeched at it's arm, the two separate entities seeming to butt heads.
That was until a table flew in the direction of the two, smashing against the creature's head. The monster groaned, a mixture of rage and pain, as it turned towards Lan'ra. An enormous geyser of sludge was shot just above the girl's head, landing behind her and undulating strangely. The toxic blob opened several red eyes and began its slow trudge towards the girl, attempting to melt the girl in its acidic body.

Eliza swiftly dodged the beast's first charge, wiping the sweat from her brow as she did so. Horrific! To think that such a being was once of similar kin was jaw-dropping, almost unbelievable even. A bellowing shatter rung throughout the foyer, drawing her attention to what was once the chandelier hanging above them. Its once grandeur, crystalline cuts now reduced into thousands of scattered shards. The blow appeared substantial, yet was quickly proven to be a wasted effort as the monster's body seemingly regenerated into a warped version of its previous self. The form's jaw twitched and unhinged itself as it swerved its jowls to a nearby formation...
"Vervain!" she yelped, noticing the formation to be a beanstalk that was swiftly destroyed under the might of the creature. With a kick of her heel, the wind fluttered beneath her coattails as she shot up into the air in a hurry. The beam the monster had aimed towards them was evaded along the jump, and she glided into the direction of the falling figures. With her arms outstretched, she sought to take the goblin and elderly man into her arms and float them to the floor once more. She drew a deep breath, calling the wind to soften her fall...

The creature peered up an instant before the crystalline fixture landed on top of it, the beast's body going limp beneath the structured weight. Oh. He was falling.
Disbelief struck Pippin. Of his many fears, falling was by far one he never considered. People laughed at the idea of monkeys that fall, made jokes about how they were always supposed to land on their feet. This was what he got for being brave. Pippin clamped his eyes shut, readying himself to brace for impact against the sea of crystalline shard below. Pippin's eyes shot open, despite his own own name not being the one called. He looked towards the familiar voice. Pippin stared at Eliza, perplex as she reached out to both he and Vervain. Vervain, who Pippin had just realized had saved him moments earlier. The goblin was silent, his expression that of utter confusion. People don't... help him. At least, not unless the have something to gain from from it. Pippin stared at Eliza, eying as many of her featers as he could. He tried to possibly fathom what he had that the elf wanted, but came up empty handed.

Vervain said as they landed safely on the floor. "I knew you would come. You have my thanks." Vervain was truly grateful to have such a reliable young pupil. He noticed, however, that an odd blue streak that didn't belong began creeping along the contours of her visage. He considered for a brief moment the possibilities, but decided to save it for another time. There are more important things that required his assistance now. We have to defeat this beast. She couldn't afford to waste these precious bullets. Florence grew deathly serious as she took aim and fired an entire tank's worth of energy at the Captain. As the rest of his teammates continued the fight against the Captain, the beast swung its unwanted attention onto Lan'ra. Vervain saw an opening, and if his next move went well, then hopefully his other allies would see an opening too... "Instrument of nature, spring forth from the ashes," he began, "Organon!" The core of his cane shone brightly, casting shadows across his features as he channeled his mana through the Organon and down into the earth, creating the spores of the Clematis Belladonna, a plant that emits a haze from the receptacle that causes dizziness and temporary loss of motor control when inhaled. Two of the plants cracked through the marble on either side of Vervain, rising till they were about as tall as he was. Then, making sure that no allies were around the enemy, he commanded the plants to shoot the haze. The petals of the flowers slowly inched open simultaneously. After a brief delay, a thick purple fog billowed from the plants, completely enveloping the Captain. If the effects worked as intended, then the Captain should feel a wave of confusion, followed by the loss of coordination. The haze will remain for as long as the plants are there. "Everyone, if this works, then be ready to hit him with all you've got."

The Beastly Captain coughed and snorted at the purple haze now surrounding it. The beast shook its head, its two arms spraying lasers in various directions out of pure confusion before the creature's enormous body hit the ground, its legs giving out beneath it. The captain's body was shaking and shuttering as the beast struggled to breathe, growls and huffs escaping its mouth as it attempted to regain control of the body.
After witnessing what Jintama's electric blades had done to the eye on the Captain's arm, Florence ran around the body to the front of the creature's head. Florence aimed at the enormous eyeball in the center of the beast's head, blasting it with a full canister of mana. The eyeball burst open, spraying blood and juices over the girl as the Captain wailed in pain, trying as hard as it could to get up from the ground.
"TEAM!!! AIM FOR THE HEAD!!! THIS MIGHT BE OUR ONLY CHANCE!!! GIVE HIM ALL YOU GOT!!!!" Florence ordered.

Jintama stood back on the ground. Trying best to regain her energy, all the while, trying her best to lasers the Caption was shooting
Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuuuuuuuck.
Luckily, she got enough time avoid it all but she still need more time to-
Of course. Guess I gotta do what I gotta do in a short amount of time, right?
Jintama threw three more eletric swords, this time, aiming at the captains head. She threw one more of them, just for good measure.
"Rest in peace, you fucking monster." Jintama spat a bit more coldly.
Her energy became a bit more lower and lower.

Quincy skid across the floor, her pupils shrinking to slits as she focused in on the creature in front of her. She witnessed Florence destroy one of the creature's eyes. She sniffed the air as the scent of blood filled in, the corners of vision growing dark as her ears twitched oddly, as though they were trying to fold against her head but were unable to in their current state. She let out a hiss of pain as they continued to struggle against their physical constraints. Whatever part of her mind that was being blocked by this pain was keeping her from realizing what was happening to her body, but the remaining part demanded action. She slowly sank to all fours, a feral hiss coming from her mouth before she sped forward towards the creature, aiming to bite open the eyes Florence had left behind with her teeth if her new claws wouldn't suffice. She seemed unaware of any other teammates at this time. She very well could be caught in the cross fire of other attacks depending on when she reached the creature.

Eliza offered her mentor a slight bow before nodding to the goblin as to assure their continue cooperation. "Let's end this!" Her eyes fixated on the Captain as the hazy mist enveloped him, causing his limbs to grow weary under the mental strain of his own mind. If this was an attempt for a final blow then she would give it her all, but as the mana in her veins swirled upon channeling her power, there was a slight pain that brought her back to reality. Ah. That's right- their final blow could possibly mean an end to this pain for another day's worth, or even longer with the amass power the beast displayed. Yet even so, how would she siphon it without the others seeing? If it was impossible, then perhaps the smaller fry could suffice just the same. How dreary the whole predicament had been, if only there was a way of alleviating such a yearning in the first place.
Though it wasn't like she could ask.
Just as her mana pooled into the vines below her, she shot a the flora at max speed towards the beast as she propelled the wind at their roots. Eyelids narrowed, she prepared to strike at its center when-
A gasp escaped her as she frantically changed their direction, realizing she had nearly hit another figure in the process. The figure had none other appeared to be what she thought was the scared girl she had assisted only earlier that day. However, she was hunched over like a desperate hound with jagged claws piercing the ground she crawled on. She got infected!? How was it even possible? While her consciousness was in question, she was focusing her talons towards the Captain, but this surge of thoughtless "bravery" contrasted with her previous shaky exterior exhibited moments ago. Just what can we do for her?
A sudden thought, followed by a shiver down Eliza's spine shot across. I am not that shameless! Her conscience pleaded, but her pupils remained on the Captain.

Pippin slunk away from the captain, the newly found courage he had used to drop the chandelier on the beast evaporated and left his legs quivering like jelly at the site of it's new and even larger form. "Why does every gotta be bigger than me..." he whined. The goblin grasped around in his bag, pulling out various small herb that would probably hardly have any sort of effect on the monster.
It was no use. He wasn't a flashy mage who would summon sentient plants or use mind bullets. He was just one tiny guy with a bunch of shriveled up plants in his pockets.
"G-go team..." Pippin weakly and half hearted cheered, having just about nothing else to do against the beast.

"TEAM!!! AIM FOR THE HEAD!!! THIS MIGHT BE OUR ONLY CHANCE!!! GIVE HIM ALL YOU GOT!!!!" Florence ordered. It worked. Vervain let out a sigh of relief. Fortunately, the effects of the belladonna worked, the Captain discoordinated beyond its own comprehension. Vervain didn't always use this plant as it does pose certain risks. If they were outdoors where this was a wind current, the haze could potentially be inhaled by those it wasn't meant for, including himself. Just as her mana pooled into the vines below her, she shot the flora at max speed towards the beast as she propelled the wind at their roots. Eyelids narrowed, she prepared to strike at its center Vervain tapped the end of his cane on the ground, the Belladonna's receding into the earth having completed their task. May you be reborn anew. He then called forth two Livingstone Daisies, launching the razor sharp flora in tandem with the vines Eliza commanded. The daisies surged ahead like saw disks, aiming to render the beast into julienne. Vervain then felt a sudden stabbing pain in his side, losing his concentration for a split second. As a result, he failed to notice Quincy's quaint figure darting towards the captain...
